Michael G. Masters, director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization of Jewish organizations in North America, has also served on the payroll of the Soufan Group, a company that provides security consulting, training, and military advising to Qatar, a key sponsor of Hamas.
Michael G. Masters holds a key position in the security of American Jews, being national director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN) – the community’s umbrella security organization that works to safeguard Jewish institutions across the United States. Concurrently until February of 2022, he was president of the board of governors of the Soufan Center, and also general counsel for the Soufan Group. Mr. Masters previously served as the chief of staff to the superintendent of the Chicago Police Department and as head of Emergency Management for Cook County, Illinois. He is a U.S. Marine Corps reservist and graduate of Harvard law school.
Why, then, has Mr. Masters been part of management and on the payroll of a company that provides security consulting, training, and military advising to Qatar, a key sponsor of Hamas?
The October 7 slaughter of over 1,400 men, women, and children in Israel, plus the kidnapping of 200 more by Hamas, directly implicated Qatar, which funded Hamas, hosted its leadership, and blamed Israel for October 7.
Is Mr. Masters with the Jews who were murdered – or their murderers?
Qatar has a long history of supporting terrorism: it provided refuge and aid to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, and Hamas politburo chiefs Khaled Mashal and Ismail Haniyeh. The country’s largest charity has funded Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Hamas, and Ihsani Yardim Vakfiih (IHH). It has paid bribes to Hezbollah and other terror groups in Iraq.

And now, we come to Mr. Masters, former president of the Soufan Center, one time emcee of the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies’ (QIASS) Global Security Forum events in Doha, and national director & CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN) and a principal figure in all three.
The Soufan Group: Mr. Masters publicly acknowledges having worked at the Soufan Group from October 2015 to March 2020, then serving as president of the board of governors of the Soufan Center, an affiliated think tank, through February 2022. The Soufan Group, headquartered in New York, maintains an office in Doha, Qatar. According to a SCN spokesperson, “Mr. Masters is proud of his past service as a member of the Board of Directors of The Soufan Center.”

Ali Soufan, CEO of the Soufan Group, established in New York in 2005, counts the government of Qatar as a client “which hired the Soufan Group to train some of its police and intelligence forces.” The Qatari state-owned news network, Al Jazeera, frequently interviews employees of the Soufan Center on matters of national security and Middle East politics, which prominently showcases these on its website.
Qatar International Academy for Security Studies’ (QIASS) Global Security Forum: Established in 2018, the Global Security Forum (GSF) is a yearly policy conference hosted by the Soufan Center. Qatari leaders often brief the gathered audience of security officials, diplomats, and journalists to articulate and comment on Doha’s annual national security strategy commenting on such topics as Afghanistan, Israel, and Gulf politics. Mr. Masters introduced senior Qatari officials at multiple conferences and moderated panels at the conference.
Secure Community Network: It is the “official homeland security and safety initiative of the organized Jewish community in North America.” The group “serves as the central organization dedicated exclusively to the safety and security of the American Jewish community, working across 146 federations, 50 partner organizations, over 300 independent communities as well as with other partners in the public, private, non-profit and academic sectors,” including the FBI, DEA, and other federal agencies. Mr. Masters is its CEO.
Mr. Masters held his positions at SCN and different Soufan entities concurrently for at least four years from 2018-2022, as well as appearing at the GSF multiple times.
He stands as a testament to the tangled relationship between Qatar and organizations safeguarding the U.S. Jewish community. His former positions raise considerable concerns about potential conflicts of interest, especially in light of his public appearances and associations with key Qatari figures while serving as the American Jewish community’s security czar.
While Iran’s alliance with Hamas is the focus of global attention, Qatar – whose ties to the terror group are ironclad – is often overlooked. Such willful blindness is, in part, the fruit of Qatar’s vast international networks, which include major American lobbyists, journalists, and security experts, not to mention the globally influential aforementioned Qatari-owned Al Jazeera network. Moreover, the U.S. Air Force base at Al Udeid in Qatar furthers its strategic importance.

Qatari Donations to American Universities: A Conduit for Antisemitism?
One of the more overt demonstrations of this influence is Qatar’s financial backing of prominent U.S. academic institutions, to which they channel billions of dollars in donations. This raises concerns about their ability to inspire antisemitism, particularly among future decision-makers. Furthermore, Qatar’s Education City is home to institutions like Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), which houses the Al-Qaradawi Center for Islamic Reform and Renewal. This Center is named for Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the late Islamist scholar and Muslim Brotherhood advocate who endorsed Hamas suicide bombings and the murder of Americans in Iraq.
Stateside, the Qatar America Institute (QAI) serves as a case study for Qatar’s intricate web of influence peddling in the U.S. The organization, though introduced as a cultural non-profit, was later found to have accepted $6 million from the Qatar Embassy and the Qatar Foundation. This funding reportedly facilitated visits for rising U.S. politicians to Qatar, thereby providing an opportunity for covert influence. Mr. Soufan and other Soufan Group staff and advisors have served on the board of directors for QAI.
QIASS/HBKU and QF have organized a multitude of conferences in Doha since 2017. The latest of these was attended and inaugurated by the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, who gave speeches alongside HBKU officials. Several attendees, principally Qataris, have used these events to make anti-Israel remarks and express support for President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and radical groups like Hamas.
A Tangled Web of Qatari Connections
A particularly glaring instance from October 2018 underscores concerns about Mr. Masters’ Qatari ties. In the immediate aftermath of the tragic shooting in Pittsburgh, the most devastating attack against the U.S. Jewish community, Mr. Masters was not on-site to support the community or offering condolences. Instead, he was in Qatar.
During his address, he introduced himself solely as the president of the Soufan Center, conveniently neglecting to mention his pivotal role in SCN. He failed to mention the Pittsburgh murders and instead praised his forum co-sponsors, including Qatar University and Georgetown University Qatar. At the same period, the dean of Georgetown University Qatar was actively criticizing Israel. Moreover, Mr. Masters introduced and commended the deputy prime minister of Qatar, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, even suggesting that attendees should follow him on Twitter.
Concurrently with tenure at SCN, Mr. Masters held positions in several companies directly linked to the Qatari regime. He was a member of the executive team for the Soufan Group and board of directors for the Soufan Center, entities mainly engaged with Qatar’s Emir, family, and government. Both Ali Soufan and Michael Masters were appointed to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council. In 2022, a colleague, former Marine Gen. John Allen, from the council, who served with Messrs. Soufan and Masters, had to take a leave of absence due to an FBI investigation on alleged illegal lobbying and Qatari influence peddling.
The Soufan Group manages the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS), providing training to law enforcement personnel, including Qatar’s general security services. The specialized training provided includes intelligence, investigation, firearms, tactical support, human source development, interview and interrogation techniques, and CVE strategy. QIASS also provided guidance for the controversial World Cup when Qatar hosted it. Ali Soufan is the chief principle of the Soufan Group; Michael Masters was formerly the senior vice president and of counsel.
Ali Soufan, CEO of the Soufan Group, where Masters worked prior to becoming CEO of SCN, celebrated FIFA’s decision to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in a 2018 Tweet. Two years later, the U.S. Department of Justice alleged that Qatar engaged in bribery to convince FIFA to bring the tournament to Qatar.
A recent investigation in the U.K. Spectatorfocused on Qatar’s human rights breaches and its relationship to the World Cup by examining the supposed lobbying that influenced British MPs and their trips to Doha. Multiple reports have highlighted QIASS as a major influencer for these trips, and there are indications that these QIASS-sponsored MP excursions are currently being examined by the British government. This scrutiny spurred anti-corruption entities of the EU to detain several government officials in December 2022 over suspicions of corruption stemming from alleged bribes by Qatari representatives.
Additionally, the Soufan Center’s intel briefs, released amidst the recent tensions, reflect a skewed perspective that inadvertently validates illicit tactics as strategies for negotiation. Intended for national security professionals, the briefs implied potential breaches of international law by Israel in their response to Hamas. They categorize Hamas terrorists as “militia fighters,” suggest that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating due to Israeli actions, and use the term “extreme” just once – applying it to Israeli political elements. A particular statement from October 13th indicated that Israel might be violating the Geneva Conventions through “siege warfare.” The brief also posited that Hamas’s “hostage portfolio” might be a tool for progress on humanitarian issues, indirectly endorsing nationalistic tactics to initiate international dialogue and negotiations.
While the QIASS/Soufan website features Ali Soufan as executive director and Martin Reardon as senior director, Majed Al-Ansari, the actual president of QIASS, is conspicuously absent. Mr. Al-Ansari’s association with QIASS is, however, confirmed by the HBKU’s official website, as well as multiple business and academic agreements. Mr. Masters has been vocal about his association with HBKU’s leadership and has often highlighted the relationship on social media platforms, as this tweet illustrates.
In 2022, Mr. Al-Ansari took on the role of special advisor to the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and also became the official spokesperson for the regime, roles he holds simultaneously with his position as president of QIASS.
Al-Ansari also writes columns for Qatari newspapers. In a 2021 column, he applauded Hamas’s skirmish with Israel and advocated for Israel’s annihilation.
U.S. Jewish Security: In Qatar’s Hands?
On June 17, 2020, Mr. Masters was featured in an article titled “The World’s Top Jewish Security Official Says Its Time to Address Bias in Synagogue Protection.” It noted Mr. Masters’ belief that the Jewish community needs law enforcement against threats while also suggesting the police should support minority and gay communities facing biased and violent policing. Mr. Masters made these remarks without disclosing the Soufan Group and Soufan Center’s relationship with the Qatari regime and its security apparatus, some of which were alleged to have enforced anti-LGBTQ activities during the World Cup.
In the academic year of 2019-2020, Hillel International reported a spike in antisemitic incidents at North American colleges. By 2021 and 2022, violent events became more regular. Securing Jewish students on American campuses is well within the mandate of SCN.
A Jewish Federations of North America press release on October 23rd of this year stated, “according to the Secure Community Network (SCN) and ADL, anti-Israeli activists and organizations like BDS, National Students for Justice in Palestine, the Boston Mapping Project, and the Council on Islamic American Relations (CAIR) have already flooded the Internet with messaging that blames Israel rather than Hamas nationalists for the current crisis.” In 2020, SCN partnered with Hillel (the national Jewish student group umbrella organization), to combat BDS campaigns on college campuses.
Students at the Qatar Foundation openly support the global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and host events at the organization’s facilities in Doha.
Brooke Goldstein, CEO of the Lawfare Project, has alleged, “the bulk of all Middle Eastern donations [to American colleges and universities] come from Qatari donors, and one entity — Qatar Foundation — accounts for virtually all of the donations from Qatar. Qatari cash helped to incubate the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign on U.S. college campuses.”
Disturbingly, many of these students have faced threats and physical harm from groups and individuals affiliated with BDS movements, allegedly funded by the Qatar Foundation (QF). Yet QF has financed events for Mr. Masters’ Soufan Center in Doha, Qatar. These ties extend to Qatar University, where Abdul Jabbar Saeed, who heads the university’s Quran and Sunnah department, took to Al Jazeera in May 2020 to cite a prophecy about Muslims killing Jews.
Mr. Masters’ Jewish communal organization touted its work combatting BDS while the think tank whose board of governors he served on was taking money from a virulently anti-Israel organization that organized BDS activity at its main headquarters.
Qatar’s influence, both overt and covert, within the U.S. national security framework raises pressing concerns. The blurred lines between organizations designed to ensure the security of American Jewish communities and entities with potential antisemitic interests demand immediate scrutiny.
This convoluted matrix of monetary transactions, alliances, and partnerships reveals worrisome vulnerabilities in U.S. national security, especially concerning its Jewish community. The undeniable extent of Qatar’s reach, from its substantial donations to academic establishments to its ties within the U.S. political and national security infrastructure, is alarming. Even more distressing is the blurring of boundaries between institutions committed to protecting American Jewish communities, and those potentially harboring antisemitic sentiments.
It is crucial to understand these connections to ensure the unwavering commitment of those responsible for safeguarding vulnerable communities. Failing to address these ties could have grave consequences, not just for the Jewish community, but for American democratic values.
Given the vast mosaic of these connections, one cannot help but conclude that a thorough investigation into Mr. Masters’ links to Qatar is both necessary and urgent. The American Jewish community, like any other, deserves transparency, especially when it pertains to the very security entities meant to protect it. It is vital to ascertain whether the man at the forefront of their protection can effectively balance his roles, or if his allegiance to one might jeopardize his commitment to the other.
Mr. Masters and Mr. Soufan were both sent detailed queries regarding this story. Mr. Masters response, sent on his behalf by SCN, is published below as Appendix I. The questions sent to Mr. Masters are published below as Appendix II. Mr. Soufan did not respond before publication.
Mr. Masters praised the government of Qatar in opening remarks he gave to the Global Security Forum in Doha in 2021, “For their support in fostering a space for the open and honest exchange of ideas we extend our thanks to the government of Qatar.” He continued, commenting on his role as CEO of SCN, “I see this in my work as director of the Secure Community Network in the United States every day. We are all connected. The solutions require a whole of community approach . . . the global security situation is complex. The threats are serious and the dangers are real.” Hopefully, Mr. Masters realizes the danger of Hamas, and its sponsor in Doha. He should distance himself from his former Qatari connections and condemn the Islamist peninsular regime for what it really is: A danger to global security and the American Jewish community he has sworn to protect.
Can one truly serve two masters, especially when one of those entities might have interests diametrically opposed to the community he serves?

It is thanks, in part, to these numerous relationships that Israeli and American officials are better able to protect our Jewish communities.
Mr. Masters is fully engaged with his team at the Secure Community Network to protect the Jewish people in North America. This is a continuation of his approximately twenty years of public service as a professional devoted to the domestic and national security interests of the United States of America, and the Jewish people.

THE more things change, the more they stay the same. Such is the case when it comes to centuries-old Islamic terrorism via barbarians who wage jihad on behalf of Allah. AS such, the following analysis presented by the Jerusalem Center For Public Affairs (JCPA) is a more than important read. And when juxtaposed against the aforementioned interview, it is no wonder that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
A decade has passed since the official opening of Hamas’ offices in Istanbul, and Turkey is courting Israel anew.
Turkey collaborates with terror organizations on both the ideological and operational levels.
Terrorists working on Turkish soil establish infrastructures and plan terror attacks against Israel.
Hamas senior officials (most former inmates in Israel for terrorism who were released in a prisoner exchange) are operating from Turkey against Israel. Some have even been granted Turkish citizenship.
In December 2021, Israeli security forces broke up Hamas-linked terror cells in Nablus (Shechem) and Hebron in the West Bank. On December 12, 2021, Israel’s Minister of Interior Ayelet Shaked signed an order banning the departure from the country of several known “senior Hamas activists” who, it was suspected, would link up with Hamas officials overseas.
Turkey today seeks another reconciliation with Israel. Israel should demand “payment in advance,” meaning that the Turks must first act against the Hamas operatives on their soil and prove that they are preventing them from continuing to act against Israel.
Only then will it be worth upgrading relations with Turkey to a level of understanding and cooperation – a goal that both sides certainly have an interest in promoting.
Introduction: Turkey Is Contributing to Hamas’ Military Empowerment
During the “Pioneers of Jerusalem” conference hosted by Turkey in December 2017, Maher Salah, Hamas’ former leader abroad, directly addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “The fate of your country is to disappear from the world, the fate of your kingdom is to be annihilated. I promise him [Netanyahu] that his country will not celebrate the 100th anniversary.”
A few days later, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used Hamas terminology from the organization’s Charter when he invoked the “Trees and Stones” hadith.2 Erdoğan warned: “Those who think they own Jerusalem better know that tomorrow they will not even be able to hide behind trees.”

This hadith quoted in Article 7 of the 1988 Hamas Charter4 calls for Israel’s destruction. It deals with the Muslims’ ultimate war against the Jews: “Then the stones and the trees will say: ‘O Muslim, ‘o servant of God. There is a Jew hiding behind me; come and kill him.”
Hundreds of Terror Attacks and Attempted Attacks
But Erdoğan did not just settle for words and Hamas terminology. The year 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the official establishment of the Hamas terror organization’s offices in Istanbul, and despite the official Turkish claims, not only Hamas’ political activity is involved. According to the Shabak (Israeli Security Agency), over the years, the Istanbul headquarters, branches, and operatives have directed hundreds of terror attacks and attempted attacks in Israel and the West Bank in particular. For many years, Turkey has relied on the distinction between Hamas’ “political wing” and its “military wing,” however, this rationalization, does not meet the test of reality.
After a decade of thwarting numerous terror attacks with seemingly connected to Hamas operatives in Turkey, early in 2018, Israel arrested (and subsequently deported) law professor Kamil Takli. He was recruited to Hamas by one of the freed prisoners from the Shalit deal, senior Hamas official Zaher Jabarin residing in Turkey. A protégé of Salah Arouri (at that time, head of Hamas’ West Bank operations), Jabarin was in charge of Hamas’ budget and helped enable – under Arouri’s guidance – widespread terror activity in the West Bank.5
Takli’s arrest, though preceded by other detentions, became, in Israel’s eyes, a milestone in the history of Turkey-Hamas collaboration, particularly with the publicity that Israel decided to give the development. An unusual announcement by the Shabak (which eluded the public’s attention) stated, for the first time, openly and officially, what until then, had only been whispered:
Turkey contributes to the military strengthening of Hamas via – inter alia – the SADAT Company that was established at the behest of Adnan Basha, an adviser who is close to Turkish administration officials. … The findings of the investigation underscore the fact that Hamas’ ramified economic and military activity in Turkey takes place unhindered as Turkish officials turn a blind eye and – on occasion – encourage it, and with the assistance of Turkish nationals, some of whom are close to the government.6
Indeed, most of Hamas’ activity in Turkey in recent years, has been led by a group of freed prisoners from the Shalit deal in 2011 who were expelled to Turkey or chose to move there. Some have even been granted Turkish citizenship.
Israel hoped that Turkey would honor the promise offered in the two countries’ reconciliation deal, signed in the aftermath of the May 2010 Marmara flotilla affair. On June 27, 2016, in two separate press conferences given by their heads of government, Israel and Turkey announced that they had reached a reconciliation deal. In one of its clauses, Turkey undertook to prevent the use of its territory for terror operations against Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that this promise included putting an end to the funding of terror activity. Along with the official declarations, the Israeli media reported Turkey’s undertaking. However, it was also announced that the Hamas offices would remain in Turkey, but they would engage solely in political activity. Of course, that promise remained solely on paper.
After a half-decade of ups and downs in Israel-Turkey relations, a further attempt at reconciliation is now on the agenda. This time the initiative comes from the Turkish side. According to assessments, Turkey is trying to break out of the international isolation that has befallen it, improve its standing with the Biden administration, and ameliorate the difficult economic situation within Turkey.7
This study will survey the Turkey-Hamas collaboration over the past decade, before and after the 2016 “reconciliation deal.” It will show that a further reconciliation deal or understandings and agreements between Israel and Turkey must entail Turkish steps to oust Hamas and put an end to the orchestration of terror from its soil. This time, such measures must precede a deal, understandings, and a further reconciliation, not merely be part of a future deal.
The Ideological Background of the Turkey-Hamas Collaboration8
In the spring of 2017, then-Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, in a speech at Tel Aviv University, described how President Erdoğan of Turkey viewed the role of Hamas: “Erdoğan is the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East. He calls it the New Ottoman Empire. Since the beginning of his rule, he has sought to become a sultan. He promotes his Islam by supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, and not Fatah. He tries to achieve hegemony even in Europe through illegal immigration.”9

Indeed, in his own eyes, Erdoğan is the successor of Saladin and Suleiman the Magnificent, and the Turks are the “grandchildren” of those two. From time to time, Erdoğan invokes the dream of renewing the caliphate, and for him, Turkey defines itself as the representative of Muslim civilization. The Turkish president sees himself as the partner, patron, and protector of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Muslim world. His party, the Islamic Justice and Development Party, is close in its views to those of the Brotherhood and seeks to extend Turkish influence to lands that in the past were part of the Ottoman Empire and thereby restore the old glory.
Like Erdoğan, Hamas dreams of a Muslim revolution that will widen Islamic influence around the world. Hamas is also a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Erdoğan, as noted, now sees himself as a patron. The Turkish ruler has averred repeatedly in recent years that Hamas is not a terror organization. He described as “sisters,” a series of cities that the Ottoman Empire ruled in the past – Mecca, Medina, Cairo, and others. He has declared that “the world must know and understand that Ramallah, Nablus, Jericho, Rafah, Gaza, and Jerusalem, too, are sister cities whose residents are our brothers.” Thus, Erdoğan links his more distant vision of the caliphate to his concrete and primary concern with Jerusalem, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In the 1920s, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el Husseini, spread the rumor that Jews sought to destroy the al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. These charges became an effective means to recruit resources and volunteers.
Over the years, the Turkish president has also become complicit in the modern blood libel that accuses Israel and its institutions of seeking to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque or at least putting it in danger. This is a commonality among many in the Muslim world, including Hamas, and it has sparked numerous waves of terror. Erdoğan has made several statements on the issue. In 2016, he accused Israel of “attempting to take over the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and one must stand guard and prevent it from conquering the place with its drilling and archaeological digs.”12 In 2017, he asserted that “the filthy Zionists are polluting the Temple Mount”13 and “Israeli soldiers carelessly pollute the grounds of Al-Aqsa with their combat boots by using simple issues as a pretext and then easily spill blood there.”14
At a mass rally in 2018, the Turkish president declared, “We are facing a struggle against Zionist and Zionism. Even such a catastrophe, unfortunately, was not enough for Muslims to come to aid,” Erdoğan said as he criticized the Israeli violence against Palestinians.
“I separate Zionists from Jews. The main struggle is against Zionism and Zionists,” he said, adding: “Their hostility to Muslims is not at all forgiven.” “Israel has been doing whatever it wishes since 1947 and continues its way in the same reckless way today. We cannot unsee these facts. With the latest decision, the U.S. took, once again, the primacy of Jerusalem was attacked.” Erdoğan said while Al-Aqsa Mosque was increasingly becoming polluted by radical Zionist schemes, the Al-Khalil (Hebron Cave of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs) mosque remains occupied, and all Muslims can do is condemn.”15
Over the years, Erdoğan has enabled the ongoing activity of the Turkish nonprofit group, “Our Heritage,” in Jerusalem, which aims to defend Al-Aqsa against the Israeli incursions and the alleged threat to demolish it. In the past, Our Heritage took part in transporting hundreds of thousands of Israeli Arabs to the Mount to defend Al-Aqsa. The Turkish group has held contacts with groups from the radical Northern Branch of the Israeli Islamic Movement that have acted on the Temple Mount to prevent and disrupt visits by Jews there, with the aim of “protecting Al-Aqsa” from Israel.16 Our Heritage is funded in part by TIKA, a Turkish governmental aid agency that is subordinate to the office of the Turkish prime minister.17
A conference held in Turkey on November 7, 2020, by the Forum of Turkish Muslim Scholars for Jerusalem attended by religious scholars and politicians from Turkey and the Muslim world at large, assigned Turkey a historic role in Jerusalem and Palestine, including deepening its penetration of the city. These goals were expressed in speeches by the participants and in the conference’s concluding announcement, which stated that Palestine has an Ottoman identity and that the Turkish people have a right to Jerusalem no less than the Palestinian people.

The announcement called to augment the Turkish presence in the city in different ways, such as promoting and overhauling the Ottoman Waqf facilities in the city and pursuing initiatives for twin cities and twin mosques. The announcement also condemned the Arab countries for normalizing relations with Israel and expressed hope that the Al-Aqsa Mosque would soon be freed from its defilement.

Erdoğan, for his part, sent his blessings to the participants, underlining his support for “the glorious resistance of the Muslim Brotherhood” and asserting that Turkey had served Jerusalem “for four hundred years.” In a speech at the conference, Khaled Mashal, former head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, praised Turkey under Erdoğan’s leadership. He called Turkey a “crucial partner” and lauded the fact that it is regaining its regional status of the days of the Ottoman caliphate.
Simultaneously, on November 7-8, 2020, the First Virtual Conference of Jerusalem Pioneers was held by elements affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and Turkey. Attended by Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Ahmad al-Raisoni, chair of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, and Al-Aqsa preacher Ekrima Sabri. The conference particularly emphasized the support of the Palestinians’ jihad and armed struggle against Israel “with money and with weapons,” especially in the face of “the danger of normalization” between Arab countries and Israel, and claimed that such support is a religious obligation.19
The Turkey-Hamas collaboration, which has included transferring funds to Gaza and hosting Hamas offices and leaders on Turkish soil, is not only expedient; it stems first and foremost from an ideological affinity between Erdoğan and Hamas. Although the relations between the Turkish president and Hamas have known their ups and downs, what has helped maintain them to the present is both sides’ fealty to the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Initial Hamas Infrastructure on Turkish Soil – Salah Arouri
It was Salah Arouri, now deputy chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau, who laid the infrastructure for Hamas’ activity in Turkey 10 years ago, including directing terror attacks against Israelis on the West Bank. Already in May 2014, Arouri, then head of Hamas’ military headquarters abroad, declared that resistance in the West Bank was steadily on the rise and would eventually lead to an all-out confrontation with Israel. He also expressed hope that “the resistance in the West Bank will manage to obtain rockets and use them similarly to how they are used from the Gaza Strip.” Arouri noted that “rockets have been manufactured in Gaza under a blockade, so in the West Bank, as well, one can overcome all the difficulties and manufacture rockets.”20
The general public in Israel was first exposed to Arouri’s name only three months later when he declared at the fourth conference of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, held in Turkey, that Hamas’ military wing was behind the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli teenage boys in Gush Etzion (June 12, 2014). His words were read aloud and in the name of the leader of Hamas, Khaled Mashal. They were recorded without Arouri’s knowledge and uploaded to YouTube, where they created a great stir.21 Arouri portrayed the operation as part of Hamas’ ongoing efforts to ignite a new intifada. Despite Arouri attempt to repudiate the words, then-Defense Minister Yaalon called him “the man in charge of the kidnapping and murder of the three Israeli teens” (Herzliya conference, 2015).

During those years, Arouri, as head of the West Bank region in Hamas’ military headquarters abroad, enjoyed the freedom of action in Turkey and orchestrated Hamas’ terror attacks in the West Bank.22
Salah Arouri, born in 1966 in the village of Arura, near Ramallah, and in the 1990s was one of the founders of the Hamas military wing in the West Bank. According to publications of the Shabak and the Intelligence and Terror Information Center, he was arrested by Israel in 1992 and sentenced to five years in prison for membership in a terror organization. Subsequently, he served additional prison sentences, and on March 30, 2010, was freed as part of a deal that was signed with him after a period of 18 months of incarceration. He first relocated to Jordan, then to Syria, where he resumed his terror activity. In Syria, Arouri was chosen as a member of Hamas’ Political Bureau, assigned the prisoners portfolio, and given a senior role in the negotiations that led to the Shalit exchange deal. When the civil war broke out in Syria and forced Hamas to evacuate its headquarters in Damascus, Arouri and some of his compatriots relocated to Istanbul and made it their home.

On the eve of the signing of the 2016 Turkey-Israel reconciliation deal, Arouri was asked to leave Turkey. He first found himself a home in Qatar, but amid Qatar’s crisis with the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia, he was forced to leave Doha and move to Lebanon, where he has enjoyed the protection of Hizbullah and its leader Hassan Nasrallah to this day. Arouri now lives Dahiya in the southern (Shiite) quarter of Beirut, Hizbullah’s stronghold in Lebanon. Over the years, he has become the link between Iran and Hizbullah on the one hand and Hamas on the other. In November 2018, the U.S. State Department announced a $5 million reward for information that would help lead to Arouri’s capture. They explained that he was one of the founders of the Hamas military wing, collaborating with the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, mobilizing funds, directing Hamas military operatives in the West Bank, and linked to several terror attacks including kidnappings.23
Since replacing Mousa Abu Marzook as deputy chair of the Hamas Political Bureau, Arouri has played a central role in the sporadic talks, mediated by Egypt, on an “arrangement” with Israel. He speaks fluent Hebrew, which he learned and polished during his many years of incarceration in Israel. In September 2017, Russia hosted Arouri as part of a Hamas delegation that came to Moscow for talks with Deputy Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov.24 In June 2017, then-Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman told Nikki Haley, then U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, that Arouri, who had made his way to Lebanon, aimed to continue trying to direct terror attacks against Israel. He called him “a dangerous terrorist who is responsible for lethal Hamas attacks against Israel, who must not be allowed to continue with his actions.”
In September last year, in an interview to the Al-Midan television station in Lebanon, Arouri said that in the next conflict with Israel, “the losses and the results on the ground will be unprecedented, the occupation will pay an unprecedented price, and the enemy will be surprised by the capabilities of the resistance…. The Israeli home front will be part of the war.” He added that Hizbullah was helping all the Palestinian factions, including Fatah.25
Shalit-Deal Deportees (and Others) – the Backbone of Hamas Activity in Turkey Today26
Ten of the terrorists who were released from Israeli prisons in October 2011, as part of the deal for the freeing of the kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit from a Hamas prison, were exiled to Turkey. Despite “promises” in the Turkish media that they would be under the supervision of Turkish intelligence, these Hamas operatives and some of their comrades, enjoy complete freedom. The following are the main figures:
Husam Badran was freed in the Shalit deal and is a native of Nablus. In 2004, he was sentenced in Israel to 17 years in prison for his involvement in suicide bombings, during the second Intifada. In December 2013, after his expulsion, he was appointed official spokesman of Hamas abroad. He was also involved in directing a terror infrastructure in the Hebron area in March 2013. A Shabak announcement said Badran had transferred funds totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars for terror activities in Nablus.

Mousa al-Akari was a cell member that kidnapped and murdered Israeli Border Police officer Nissim Toledano in December 1992. Al-Akari was sentenced to three life terms, released in the Shalit deal, and expelled to Turkey. His brother, Ibrahim al-Akari, carried out a ramming attack at the Jerusalem light-rail station in November 2014. Israel considers Mousa al-Akari a Hamas operative who works from Turkish soil.
Zaher Jabarin is head of Hamas’ Finance Bureau. He was involved in the Prof. Kamil Takli affair in which the law professor was recruited in Turkey and arrested in Israel. He works at Hamas headquarters in Turkey, where he directs and funds West Bank terror.

Salamah Mari is a Hamas operative in Turkey whose name is also linked to Prof. Takli. Mari was freed in the Shalit deal. He was imprisoned for his involvement in a shooting attack in the Burqin area in March 1993 which an IDF soldier was killed.
Jihad Yaghmour is a Hamas operative originally from Beit Hanina in Jerusalem. He was involved in kidnapping the soldier Nachshon Wachsman in 1994, sentenced to life in prison, and expelled to Turkey in the Shalit deal. According to an Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center publication from December 24, 2019, Yaghmour, living in Turkey, has “served as a liaison to the Turkish government and the Turkish intelligence service MIT.” According to the experts of the Amit Center, Yaghmour is also involved in covert activities, mainly the handling of terrorist squads in Judea and Samaria. As cover for Yaghmour’s activity in Turkey, he serves as president of a cultural organization called the “Association for Jerusalem and Its History.”

Abd al-Rahman Ranimat is a former head of a Hamas cell in the Surif area in the West Bank responsible for several severe terror attacks in Israel, including the 1997 Café Apropos bombing in Tel Aviv, which killed three. Ranimat, too, was freed in the Shalit deal, first expelled to Gaza, and later moved to Turkey where he became the senior aide to Hamas commander Mazen Fukha. In March 2017, Fukha was assassinated in Gaza; Hamas claimed the Mossad was behind the attack.
Kamel Awad is a Hamas financial officer. In August 29, 2019, the U.S. Treasury Department placed him on the Counter-Terrorism Designation list.27 Awad, too, relocated from Turkey to Gaza (he was not among those freed in the Shalit deal).
Abd al-Hakim Hanani, according to Hamas sources, is in charge of a surveillance center in Istanbul for media and communications that provides intelligence to Hizbullah and Iran. Hanani, a crony of al-Arouri’s, was compelled to leave Turkey because of American and Israeli pressure. Hanani was involved in sending Hamas’ first suicide bomber to the Mehula intersection in the early 1990s.28

Hamas: The Stumbling Block to Turkish-Israeli Reconciliation
On the eve of the signing of Israel’s reconciliation deal with Turkey in 2016, Shurat haDin, an Israeli human rights organization that works on the legal front against terror entities, petitioned Israel’s Supreme Court against the deal.29 Although the petition was rejected, it included interesting details that add a further layer to the information on Hamas activity in Turkey. Among others, it mentions the following Hamas personnel who operate or have operated on Turkish soil:30
Mahmoud Atwan, originally from the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sur Baher, freed in the Shalit deal, member of the cell that kidnapped and murdered Border Police officer Nissim Toledano in 1992; Majid Abu Katish, originally from Anata, also a member of that cell; Taiser Suleiman, expelled in the Shalit deal, murdered an Israeli soldier; Fahad Sabri Barhan al-Shaludi, appears from time to time on Turkish television; Walid Zakaria Akel, a founder of Hamas’ Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, was given 21 life sentences; Haroun Mansour Yakoub Nasser al-Din, boasted in the past that Turkey grants former Hamas prisoners full freedom to come and go as they please; Ayman Mohammad Abu Khalil; Bakri Hanifa, a senior economic figure in Hamas claimed to have transferred millions of dollars from Qatar to Hamas via Turkey; and Maher Abid, a member of Hamas’ Political Bureau and senior financial operative, reportedly in charge of Hamas’ international relations until 2016.31
In her petition, Israeli attorney Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, the head of Shurat haDin, referred to the narrow and invisible line between “political Hamas” and “military Hamas,” as other Israeli courts had noted. Darshan-Leitner wrote: “Any agreement that accepts a distinction between the military wing and the political wing of a terror organization will end up strengthening the military wing and the organization’s terror activity, since, after all, the whole purpose of the ‘political wing’ is to buttress the military wing’s ability to operate and engage in terror attacks. And if the political wing is granted mitigating conditions and ‘breathing space,’ that will only boost the terror organization’s activity as a whole, and most of all its military wing.”32
15 Examples of Hamas Terror Infrastructures, Attacks, and Attempted Attacks Directed from Turkish Soil
The roots of Hamas activity on Turkish soil go back to the infamous Marmara flotilla in 2010. The Turkish organization IHH, which was in charge of the Marmara flotilla and was declared a terror organization in Israel,33 directly assisted with the funding of the Hamas military wing in Gaza. The head of the IHH branch in Gaza, Mehmet Kaya, transferred cash from Turkey to the Hamas senior officials Ismail Haniyeh and Raed Saad. These funds served, among other things, to build a naval-training facility at a Hamas base in Gaza and to purchase weapons and equipment. As a Shabak investigation revealed, “The IHH transferred to the Hamas military wing, systematically and for years, funds that served to strengthen Hamas militarily.”3435

January 2010 – Attacks thwarted at the Malcha Mall in Jerusalem, the central bus stations of Jerusalem and Beersheba, and the Tel Hashomer military base. Marad Namer of Sur Baher, Jerusalem and Marad Kamel of Wadi Joz, Jerusalem, were arrested at the central bus station in Beersheba. Their interrogation revealed that they were recruited by the Hamas headquarters abroad during their studies and work in Jordan and Dubai. Namer met with Hamas members in Turkey. The two were supposed to receive weapons and explosives from their handlers abroad. According to a Shabak announcement on January 3, 2010, they gathered intelligence that included photographs and sketches of potential sites for an attack, including the central bus station in Jerusalem as well as sites in Mevaseret Zion (near Jerusalem), Beersheba, the Malha Mall in Jerusalem, the area of hotels and seafront in Tel Aviv, and the area of the Tel Hashomer military base, which was crowded with soldiers.36
April 2014 – Mahmoud Tuama revealed Hamas’ activity on the Temple Mount, its ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, and ongoing activity of Hamas’ headquarters and senior officials in Turkey. Tuama, who was originally from Tulkarem in the West Bank and lived in Saudi Arabia, was arrested on April 14. During his interrogation, he described how Hamas uses the Israeli Islamic Movement as a front organization to promote its goals in Jerusalem, focusing on the Temple Mount and payment of the salaries of the Islamic Movement’s operatives there. Another goal was disrupting visits by Jews to the site. Tuama was one of the first to testify in Shabak interrogations regarding Turkey’s absorption of most of the Shalit-deal deportees and was providing them financial support.37
May-August 2014 – A coup attempt against the Palestinian Authority and significant terror attacks in Israel were thwarted. All were planned by Hamas-Turkey. Hamas’ military infrastructure, operating all over the West Bank to recruit military cells and carry out attacks against Israeli targets, attempted to enlist hundreds of people. The ninety-three individuals who were connected to the plan were arrested. The infrastructure’s activity was directed by the Hamas headquarters in Turkey, of which Salah Arouri was in charge. Before their arrest, some of the operatives of this infrastructure succeeded in planting explosive devices in Samaria.
The training for the different tasks, including terror attacks, kidnappings, attacks on settlements, and the planting of explosive devices, were supervised by Hamas military wing operatives abroad and in Gaza. The training was conducted in Jordan, Turkey, Syria, and Gaza. As part of Hamas’ plans, terror cells from Jerusalem, Hebron, Nablus, Jericho, and another 37 Palestinian villages were supposed to carry out terror attacks against Palestinian Authority institutions as part of the coup attempt to take over the West Bank.
When the infrastructure was uncovered, Hamas terror funds totaling more than 600,000 shekels were seized along with a variety of weaponry including 24 rifles, six pistols, seven rocket launchers, storerooms, and a large quantity of ammunition. The military infrastructure was headed by Riad Nasser, a resident of Dir Qadis in the Binyamin region of the West Bank. Nasser was one of the Hamas chiefs in Ramallah and had served several prison sentences for Hamas military activity. His recruiter was Arouri, then living in Turkey.
The dozens of detainees planned a series of major terror attacks against Israel. These would mainly have been perpetrated by the Jerusalem branches of the cell, to which many operatives were recruited by former prisoners, students, and academics. Emphasis was placed on specializations in chemistry and engineering. Among the prominent detainees involved in this endeavor were, according to the Shabak, Dr. Majdi Mafarja, a resident of Beit Liqya with a degree in computers who was recruited in Malaysia; Mahmoud Abu Daoud, a resident of Hebron who admitted involvement in recruiting military cells to carry out kidnappings, planting of explosives, and shootings; and Yihye Ata of Deir Abu Mashan, who admitted in his interrogation that he was recruited by Arouri to head a military cell.38
August 20, 2014 – Arouri takes responsibility for the kidnapping and murder of the three teenage boys. He gave a speech that day to the fourth conference of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, which was held in Turkey, and said that the Hamas military wing was behind the kidnapping and murder of the three boys from Gush Etzion on June 12, 2014.
As noted, his words were read from a page, in the name of Khaled Mashal, a Hamas leader, and recorded without Arouri’s knowledge and uploaded to YouTube, where they reached a large audience. This was the first time Hamas admitted its involvement in the kidnapping and murder. A short time afterward, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said the fact that Turkey was hosting Arouri at that time was “incredible.”

September 2014 – An extensive Hamas military infrastructure in the West Bank was broken up, along with the terror attacks planned at Jerusalem’s Teddy Stadium and the light rail in Jerusalem. They were planned by the Hamas headquarters in Turkey. The Hamas military infrastructure in the West Bank, uncovered by the Shabak, was aimed at recruiting military cells and mounting terror attacks against Israeli targets. Its activity was directed by the Hamas headquarters in Turkey, and its Hamas operatives were trained abroad and infiltrated into the territory. More than 30 operatives were arrested, and M16 rifles, ammunition, and materiel for producing explosives were seized. Some of the operatives of this cell had carried out the bombings at the Rechelim Intersection and the Jit intersection (without casualties) in Samaria on August 31, 2014.
The detainees’ interrogation revealed that after a process of recruitment, usually in Jordan, training was conducted in several countries, including Turkey. The recruits went to Gaza, sometimes through smuggling tunnels, for further courses. “In Turkey,” according to the Shabak’s findings, “they focused on planning the military operations: a combination of different types of activity aimed at carrying out terror attacks on targets in Israel, the West Bank, and abroad…. After the military training, the operatives were integrated into the various spheres of activity, according to the distribution and staffing of that was conducted by senior Hamas officials in Turkey.”
The detainees planned to attack traffic arteries with firearms and explosives, as well as settlements and military facilities in the West Bank; infiltrate and attack Israeli communities; kidnap Israelis in the West Bank and abroad; mount attacks within Israel by recruiting military cells in Jordan and training them for infiltrations; attack the Teddy Stadium and the light rail in Jerusalem, and perpetrate car-bomb attacks. Among the main detainees: Manaf Ajbara, a resident of Jordan, and Mahmoud Melhem of Anabta/Tulkarem.39
March 2015 – Hamas trained Palestinian students in Malaysia for terror activity on the West Bank. Some of the training was conducted in Turkey. An indictment served to the Judea Military Court charged Wasim Kawasme, a resident of Hebron, with crimes of membership and activity in an outlawed organization, making contact with the enemy, and receiving enemy funding.
In the framework of the training in Malaysia, Kawasme went to a weeklong course that Hamas organized in Turkey. During his visit, he heard, along with other Hamas operatives, a lecture by the head of the Hamas network abroad at that time, Muhammad Nazal.40
October 2015 – The murder of Eitam and Na’amaHenkin was directed from Turkey. The Henkins were murdered in a shooting attack on October 1 at the Beit Furik intersection between Elon Moreh and Itamar. The two were shot from close range by a Hamas operative and died on the spot in front of their children. The attack was planned by Hamas operative Ragheb Ahmad Muhammad Aliwi, who recruited a cell of four Nablus residents and provided them with weapons. The attack was orchestrated by the Hamas headquarters in Turkey.41
January 2017 – Hamas operatives in Istanbul instructed Malik Kazmar on how to recruit operatives for the organization in Israel. Kazmar’s interrogation revealed that he was recruited for Hamas service in August 2015 while living in Jordan. In January 2016, he was sent for training at a camp in Syria and, at the start of 2017, was given further instructions by Hamas operatives in Istanbul. In the course of his interrogation, Kazmar turned over the contents of a memory card he had received from his handlers on Turkish soil. These had been concealed with the help of special software that contained security instructions. The contents were designed to help him carry out his plans. An indictment against Kazmar was served in March 2017 at the Military Court in Samaria.42
February 2017 – Muhammad Murtagha, director of TIKA in Gaza, a Turkish-government humanitarian aid organization, defrauded his organization and funneled aid to Hamas terror operatives instead of needy people. He was arrested on his way to Turkey, where he planned to obtain information that would help Hamas improve the precision of its rockets. The investigation of the affair uncovered the fact that Murtagha was supposed to go from Gaza to Turkey to receive satellite photos of sensitive sites in Israel, thereby improving the precision of rockets in Hamas’ possession. On February 12, 2017, he was arrested on his way to Turkey, where he was to copy the maps and photos onto a USB flash drive, bring them to Gaza, and convey them to the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades.
During his interrogation, it further emerged that the Turkish IHH organization had helped to directly fund Hamas military activity. Israel had declared IHH a terror organization in 2008 because of its support for Hamas. Murtagha’s interrogation revealed that Mehmet Kaya, head of the IHH branch in Gaza, had transferred to Hamas senior officials Ismail Haniyeh and Raed Saad cash that had come from Turkey and was designated for the Hamas military wing. These funds served, among other things, to build a naval-training facility at a Hamas base in Gaza and to purchase equipment and weapons. In this fashion, the Shabak said, the IHH systematically funded the Hamas military wing for years.
Murtagha’s interrogation further revealed that beginning in 2009, he had operated within the Hamas military wing. This activity included military training, production of weapons and explosive devices, and the digging of terror tunnels. Murtagha also stored hand grenades and rifles in his home.43
In light of Murtagha’s arrest, the Shabak clarified that “Hamas’ various ways of deceiving the international community and humanitarian aid organizations had been revealed. These deceptions, in which senior officials of the organization are involved, enable the diversion of funds and resources that are intended to rehabilitate the Gaza Strip and its needy population. Hamas thereby gains wider room to maneuver as it exploits all its material and economic resources for purposes of terror activity and military empowerment.”44
February 2018 – The Prof. Takli Affair. Funds for the “Army of Palestine” and liaison with Turkish officials. This affair is of great importance because it shows how much Turkish officials and Hamas senior officials in Turkey are intertwined. Its details make it hard for the Turkish authorities to claim a lack of knowledge about Hamas activity in their country.
The two main characters of the affair are law professor Kamil Takli of Istanbul, who visited Israel as a tourist and member of a delegation of Turkish lawyers, and Daram Jabarin, a resident of Umm al-Fahm. The two were recruited for Hamas service by Zaher Jabarin, one of those freed in the Shalit deal who resides in Turkey. Jabarin directs Hamas’ budget from Turkey. Under the guidance of Arouri (who lived in Lebanon), Jabarin also promoted extensive West Bank terror activity from his place of residence in Turkey.
Takli revealed in his interrogation that Hamas operates in Turkey in close contact with Turkey’s top leadership and that senior Turkish officials help strengthen the Hamas militarily through the SADAT Company. With money and weapons, the company helps build the “Army of Palestine.” According to Israeli Arab-affairs commentator Pazit Ravina and other sources, “The SADAT Company was established in 2013 by General Adnan Tanreverdi, former head of the Special Forces of the Turkish army, under the inspiration of none other than Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Tanreverdi, who was dismissed from the Turkish army in 1997 because of his Islamist activity, eventually became one of Erdoğan’s close advisers. Since then, mutual trust and deep ideological affinity have prevailed between the two.”45
According to a Shabak document: “The investigation of Kamil Takli revealed that Turkey is contributing to the military empowerment of Hamas, among other things through the SADAT Company, which was established under the guidance of Adnan Basa, the close adviser to Turkish government officials.”
The company was founded to help provide money and weapons to the “Army of Palestine,” whose purpose is to fight Israel. One of the company’s employees also helped Hamas senior officials visit a weapons exhibit in Turkey in 2015, during which they expressed interest in drone capabilities.
Hamas, it further emerged during the interrogation, maintains close ties with the Turkish authorities via Jihad Yaghmour, the terror operative involved in the kidnapping and murder of the Israeli soldier, Nachshon Wachsman. Yaghmour, too, was freed as part of the Shalit deal. Yaghmour resides in Turkey.
The interrogation also found that in 2012, Takli was asked to help newly arrived Hamas operatives in Turkey to get settled and established economically. The terror operatives whom Takli helped, most of them freed in the Shalit deal, were involved in attacks that killed Israelis. Takli helped them obtain visas, deal with rentals, purchase real estate assets for residence and businesses, fancy vehicles, and establish a sound business footing in Turkey by registering companies under his name.
The Shabak’s investigation revealed extensive Hamas money-laundering in Turkey under the supervision of Zaher Jabarin, with the authorities turning a blind eye to the source of the funds. The investigation also found that Hamas operatives owned a company named Imas, which served Hamas by camouflaging money-laundering activity involving sums of millions of dollars that were transferred to Gaza and different countries.
The Shabak noted that an account for Imas was opened at one of Turkey’s largest banks, Akbank and that the company’s director-general opened another account under his name at the Turkey Finance Bank.46
The Investigation of Daram Jabarin
But Tikli was only one character in the story: “The Imas Company’s importance for Hamas was also revealed in the interrogation of the second suspect, Daram Jabarin,” according to the Shabak. “Jabarin was recruited to Hamas by a relative, Zaher Jabarin, during the former’s visit to Turkey. The appeal to him was made under the cover of Imas’ business activity. For a year-and-a-half, Daram made frequent visits to Turkey and was asked by his handler to convey Hamas funds from Turkey to the West Bank. The handler in Turkey gave Daram hundreds of thousands of euros destined for Hamas terror cells, and he took care to hide them well in the West Bank. In a search of Daram’s house in the Israeli town of Umm al-Fahm, a sum of 91,000 euros was seized, which he intended to transfer to the West Bank.”
A Shabak investigation further found that Daram acted under the guidance of Hamas senior officials together with Zaher Jabarin and his right-hand man Salama Mari, both of whom had settled in Turkey with Takli’s help. As noted, in March 1993, Salama Mari, later freed in the Shalit deal, was involved in a shooting attack in the Burqin area which killed an IDF soldier. The investigation led to the arrests of other suspects who were Umm al-Fahm residents and had helped Daram financially.
After his interrogation, Kamil Takli was expelled from Israel; Daram Jabarin, for his part, was put on trial.
“The investigation’s findings,” the Shabak stated, “illustrate Hamas’ extensive military and economic activity in Turkey, which is conducted undisturbed. The Turkish authorities turn a blind eye and sometimes even encourage it, and with the help of Turkish citizens, some of whom are close associates of the government. This activity is supported, among other things, by business platforms that enable Hamas to launder funds that are transferred to the West Bank and to recruit Israelis to its activity.”
May 2017 – A cell of the Islamic Movement that planned to attack soldiers in the Negev made contact with Hamas-Turkey for guidance and financial assistance. Two members of the cell, Muhammad Masri of Beersheba and Abdullah Abu Ayyash of Kuseifa, had been put on trial a year earlier. Their friend, Mahmoud Lawisi of Qalansawe, then living in Turkey, was arrested immediately upon arriving in Israel in March 2017. It turned out that the members of the cell turned to Faris al-Umari, a resident of Sendal for approval of the attack. Al-Umari went to Turkey late in October 2016 and met there with Majid Abu Katish, a Hamas senior official who was among those freed in the Shalit deal. Al-Umari asked him for financial aid and guidance for terror attacks he had planned.47
May 2018 – Two members of the Sur Baher (near Jerusalem) cell that planned terror attacks near the settlement of Oranit, visited Turkey. One of them was given hundreds of thousands of shekels in terror funds. The cell was headed by Nasim Hamada. Its members, according to the Shabak, were Izaddin Atun and Oveida Amira. Hamada was in contact with Hamas operatives who had been expelled to Gaza in the Shalit deal. Izaddin Atun and Oveida Amira had already met in Turkey in 2017 with two of the Hamas operatives expelled in the Shalit deal, Mahmoud Atwan and Musa Akari. In this meeting, Izaddin received terror funds from Hamas, totaling thousands of dollars.
July 2018 – Erdoğan intervenes to free a female Turkish citizen imprisoned in Israel on suspicion of terror infractions. After governmental contacts between Turkey and Israel, Ebru Özkan, age 27, who was charged with transferring funds to Hamas, was freed and returned to her country. The Turkish president’s close advisor, Ibrahim Kalin, tweeted that Erdoğan welcomed her return. Turkish media quoted Özkan as thanking Erdoğan for taking a personal interest in her case.48
August 2018 – A Hamas infrastructure was discovered in the Hebron area that included many women. This infrastructure was assisted by Hamas-Turkey. It was led by Nizar Shehada and Faris Abu Sharakh, two senior Hamas operatives who had made use of a number of women to set up a central committee that would serve as a command arm of the organization. The women’s committee was headed by Dina Karami, wife of Nisat Karami, who was involved in a 2010 terror attack that killed four residents of Beit Hagai and was killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli forces. Several women of the organization were sent for meetings with members of the Hamas headquarters who had been expelled in the Shalit deal. This branch is headed by Haroun Nasser al-Din, who lives in Turkey. The women were given terror funds, messages, and instructions.
May 2019 – TheTelegraph: Hamas-Turkey planned to assassinate then-Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, then-Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh, and former Member of Knesset Yehuda Glick. Based on transcripts of interrogations of suspects in Israel and on indictments that were served against three east Jerusalem residents, Adham Muslamani, a Jerusalem resident, met with senior Hamas agent Zakaria Najib in Istanbul in February 2019. The latter told Muslamani that if he wanted to be remembered, he had to kill a senior Israeli official. Najib, the report said, suggested that Muslamani assassinate Barkat, Alsheikh, or Glick and also offered him funds as well as weapons training in Turkey. After the meeting, Muslamani returned to his home in the Shuafat refugee camp in east Jerusalem, tried to purchase a pistol, but was arrested by the Shabak.49
The Money Trail
Besides hosting Hamas offices and senior officials who planned terror attacks, Turkey has also become a safe haven for Hamas’ financial affairs, including funding terror organizations in the West Bank. In a report published by the U.S. Treasury Department on September 10, 2019, the United States announced that it had “designated 15 leaders, individuals, and entities affiliated with terror groups.”50 The list included operatives and companies based in Turkey that were involved in transferring funds to Hamas. The report revealed that Hamas operatives and collaborators in Turkey engage in fundraising, transferring money to the military wing in Gaza, funding terror organizations in the West Bank, and running money-changing and fund-transferring companies in Turkey through which terror funds are laundered. The information published by the Treasury Department shows that the main source of financial support to Hamas via Turkey (and sometimes via Lebanon) is Iran. The Treasury’s efforts to “disrupt terrorist activity by depriving terrorist supporters of financial, material, and logistical backing worldwide… serves as an important tool in [U.S.] efforts to drain the financial resources of the Iranian regime’s malign actors including the IRGC, and its foreign expeditionary arm, the Qods Force (IRGC-QF).”51
The Treasury Department lists the Redin Exchange Company, based in Turkey, as responsible for having “materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to, HAMAS. …As of March 2019, the Redin Exchange and financial facilitator, Muhammad Sarur, were involved in a $10 million dollar transfer to Hamas’ operational arm, the Izz-Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades.”
The U.S. agency named Redin’s Deputy Director, Ismail Tash, for maintaining a “steady contact with Hamas collaborators for transferring funds from Iran to Hamas.” The report also fingered Zaher Jabarin, the Hamas senior official living in Turkey, as the recipient of $5.5 million from Redin.
Jihad Yaghmour – Hamas’ Official Representative in Turkey
Jihad Yaghmour is Hamas’ official representative in Turkey. Involved in the kidnapping of the soldier Nachshon Wachsman and sentenced to life in prison, Yaghmour was expelled to Turkey as part of the Shalit deal. Although his official post there is president of the Jerusalem and Our History Association, some experts argue that is only a cover. Yaghmour was also involved in “activating terror cells in the West Bank under the direction of Salah Arouri.”
Yaghmour’s ties with the Turkish authorities are almost overt. On December 14, 2019, he accompanied a Hamas delegation headed by Ismail Haniyeh that visited Turkey and, that month, met with the deputy chair for foreign affairs of the Justice and Development Party. In May 2019, Yaghmour accompanied Khaled Mashal, chairman of Hamas’ Political Bureau, to a meeting with a senior member of the Justice and Development Party in Turkey. In Shabak interrogations of detainees in Israel, Yaghmour’s name arose as the main liaison between Turkey and Hamas.
An analytical report on November 27, 2019, by the Investigative Journal channel identified Yaghmour as the conduit between Hamas and the Turkish government. TheTelegraph reported in December 2019, that Yaghmour was maintaining daily contacts with the Turkish intelligence service. This bureau cooperates with Western intelligence agencies in the fight against terror and is responsible for conveying intelligence information to a series of Turkish officials – from President Erdoğan to the prime minister, the chief of staff, the secretary-general of the National Security Council, and other Turkish organizations.52
Turkey Denies Any Connection to Terror
Turkey has repeatedly denied that it allows Hamas to operate from its territory against Israel. “We firmly reject the accusation that the Turkish territory is being used for any action against Israel or any other country,” declared the Turkish Foreign Ministry in December 2019. The Ministry further argued that Turkey and other countries do not consider Hamas as a terrorist group “but as a political reality which has won the elections in Gaza back in 2006…. It is worth mentioning that last year the U.N. General Assembly refused to define Hamas as a terror organization. A series of countries including Turkey maintain ties with Hamas at various levels.”53
Erdoğan himself, insisted in a media interview, that Hamas is not a terrorist movement and that its members are not terrorists but “people who defend their land.” Senior officials in Ankara strongly reject what they claim is an assortment of unproven allegations.54 “There are no such secret terror cells in Turkey that carry out terror attacks,” they argue. “Hamas leaders in Turkey were sent by Israel as part of the Shalit deal.”
Turkish diplomats reportedly reacted “angrily” to Israeli claims that Turkey was hosting Hamas’ terror headquarters in Istanbul.55 “This,” they say, “is a lie and a falsehood. It is a figment of imagination. There are elements in Israel who are trying to torpedo, at any price, efforts to iron out the differences in the relations between the two countries and begin a fresh page. They put forward lies that Hamas operates in Turkey with the government’s knowledge. Turkey conducts a dialogue with Hamas, but in no way allows any terror organization to operate from its territory.”56
Conclusion and Recommendation: Israel Must Demand Turkey’s Uprooting of the Hamas Terror Organization in Turkey Prior to the Improvement of Relations
Ten years is a sufficient period to study Turkey’s behavior with regard to Hamas. The facts are clear. There is no gray area; the picture is black-and-white. The Hamas terror organization is hosted on Turkish soil, and from there, it directs, with the knowledge of the Turkish authorities, terror operations against Israel.
The root of this dispute with Turkey is its twisted definition of Hamas. Whereas Israel correctly defines it as a terror organization, Turkey pleads innocent and asserts that Hamas operatives on its soil are functionaries of “Hamas’ political wing.” Contrary to this Turkish definition, a legal Israeli ruling concerning Hamas’ Dawa [social welfare] activity, which provides social, community, and religious services to an Arab population, invalidated it on the grounds that a civilian infrastructure would clearly facilitate the entrenchment of Hamas terror.
Israeli Judge Amnon Cohen of the Jerusalem District Court wrote when convicting three Hamas operatives who served as heads of Hamas’ Advisory Council in Jerusalem: “This is Hamas’ way of inculcating the ideology of a terror organization and sustaining it, thereby also widening the circle of its supporters. This extensive array of services, despite its ostensibly humanitarian purpose, is intended to expand the terror organization’s base of public support and create economic dependence on it among the population, as well identification and commitment to its path and its values.”57
The same logic can be applied to the activity of the “Hamas political wing” in Turkey. The facts presented here, and others in the hands of Israel’s security services, show that it is not just a “political wing” that could develop into a military wing, but a “political wing” that serves as a cover for a military wing.
Turkey’s courtship of Israel in an attempt to repair relations gives Israel a golden opportunity to act effectively against the Turkey-Hamas collaboration. Turkey’s current and relatively weak position (economically, security-wise, and internationally) affords Israel a better bargaining position than it had in 2016 when the Israel-Turkey reconciliation deal was signed.
At that time, Israel settled for a Turkish promise not to allow Hamas operatives living in Turkey to keep from orchestrating terror activity in the future. The promise was not kept. This time Israel should demand “payment in advance,” meaning that Turkey must first act against the Hamas operatives on their soil and prove that they are preventing them from continuing to act against Israel. Only then will it be worth upgrading relations with Turkey, to a level of understanding and cooperation, a goal that both sides certainly have an interest in promoting.

Democratic Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, accepted a huge stack of money from Qatar, a country with a history of funding terrorist organizatons, and the mainstream media is completely silent. Qatar has granted Garcetti’s ‘Mayor’s Fund of Los Angeles’ $5 million dollars as his ‘Angeleno Card Program’ expands. Currently, this socialist program is providing impoverished families $1,500 due to the economic fallout of the Coronavirus panic.
According to KTLA, Garcetti congratulated Qatar for the donation, especially since it ‘coincided with the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.’ The Los Angeles mayor thanked Qatar for a “truly generous humanitarian gift.” Garcetti seems desperate for cash as Los Angeles County has tyrannically decided to continue the stay-at-home order through July.
Over recent years, Qatar has proven itself to be a supporter of Islamic terrorist groups. The Middle East country has provided support to Hamas, the Taliban, and the Muslim Brotherhood. It was also harbored several Muslim terrorist leaders, such as former Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal. While Hillary Clinton was running for president, it was revealed that the Clinton Foundation received between $1 million and $5 million dollars over several years from Qatar. The U.S. State Department had no documentation of the Clinton Foundation registering Bill’s $1 million dollar birthday gift from Qatar, although the Clinton’s were supposed to report the money for government review.
The Clintons are not the only Democrats with cozy ties to Qatar. It was revealed in 2019 that six Democrats, in 2018, ‘took an all-expenses paid trip paid for by the government of Qatar,’ according to the Daily Caller. Although four of the Democrats disclosed this trip, two did not.
Democratic House members, Jim Himes of Connecticut and Donald Norcross of New Jersey, did not disclose their paid trips to Qatar. Both Democrats hold important positions in the House of Representatives. Norcross is on the House Armed Services Committee, and Himes is on the House Permanent Select Committee On Intelligence.
For three years, the Democrats have tried to pin foreign meddling hoaxes on the Trump Administration and have jailed patriots, like Michael Flynn. However, Democrat-Qatar ties are an area the mainstream media rarely exposes.

Refusing to condemn is tacit approval
Trudeau’s refusal to condemn the violent Antifa actions is a tacit approval of them. The longer Trudeau goes without condemning it, the more it seems he is okay with what happened – which is an unacceptable position for a Canadian “leader.”

(September 18, 2018) If Saleh Ali hadn’t been pulled over by a traffic cop for having an expired vehicle registration, the consequences could have been explosive.
Lt. Adam Hawley of the Brea, California police department said: “During the traffic stop, the officer keyed in on a couple of suspicious items in the car he believed to be an explosive device. He detained the driver out of an abundance of caution, locked down a little bit of the area and called out sheriff’s bomb squad deputies.”
The bomb squad destroyed the IEDs, and Ali is being held at the Orange County Jail on $500,000 bail. According to the Orange County Register, he has been “charged with one count of transporting a destructive device and two counts of possessing a destructive device.”
But there is no need for anyone to be concerned. Hawley added: “At this point, we don’t have any evidence to support that he was part of any terrorist organization.”
Hawley did not address the possibility that Ali might have been looking for an opportunity to act upon the call that the Islamic State (ISIS) issuedin September 2014:

It is an ongoing source of frustration for people who are informed about the jihad threat that authorities in the West routinely claim that random acts of violence committed by Muslims are not actually incidences of terrorism at all. In claiming this, authorities are frequently motivated by a desire to minimize the terror threat in their own countries, particularly when those authorities are responsible for increasing that threat by pursuing reckless and irresponsible policies of mass Muslim migration.
Authorities might also discount terrorism in instances such as the case of Saleh Ali because they simply don’t understand the phenomenon. They assume that Islam is a religion of peace, because they have been constantly warned that they must believe this or be charged with “racism” and “Islamophobia.” Then on the basis of that assumption, they further assume that the only problem with terror in connection with Muslims are “extremist” groups such as al-Qaeda and ISIS. If, therefore, Saleh Ali or others like him are not carrying al-Qaeda or ISIS membership cards, and their phone records don’t show them making multiple calls to Iraq or Syria, authorities assume that they have no connection to terrorism.
The idea that a Muslim such as Saleh Ali could read the Qur’an’s calls to “kill them wherever you find them” (2:191, 4:89, 9:5) and perhaps come across the ISIS call for individual Muslims to commit random acts of violence, or a similar call from al-Qaeda or some other jihad group, and act upon it despite having no connection whatsoever with any terrorist group doesn’t enter their minds. Authorities don’t even allow this to enter their minds. If they did, they would have to admit that the problem of terrorism is far larger than they have admitted up to now, and that their entire approach to it has been wrongheaded. It’s far easier simply to tell the public that Saleh Ali has no ties to terrorist organizations, and go back to sleep. What could possibly go wrong?
BUT for those who still remain unconvinced that Jihad in America is a serious threat, well, little evidenced here will sway. But it is getting harder for naysayers to deny what is happening before their (blinded) eyes. No doubt, Islam is a cauldron of hatred – despite the manipulative, Herculean efforts of western apologists. Question:Is Islam compatible with democracy?
Summary Answer:Islamic law is absolutely incompatible with democracy. It is a theocratic system with Allah alone at its head. Allah’s law is interpreted by a ruling body of clerics. There is no room for a secular political system in which all people are treated as equals.
The Qur’an:Quran (33:36) – “It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision.”
Quran (18:26) – “Allah… makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule”
Quran (45:21) – “What! Do those who seek after evil ways think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make.” Unbelievers are not equal to Muslims. This is dutifully reflected in Islamic law.
Quran (5:44) – “Whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed is among the disbelievers” This is one reason why terrorists openly fight for an Islamic state against democracy and secularism.
Quran (39:9) – “Are those who know equal to those who know not?”
Quran (4:141) – “…And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.” This is at odds with democracy, which allows anyone to serve in a position of power over others regardless of religious belief.
Quran (63:8) – “…might (power) belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers;” ie. not to anyone else.
Quran (5:49) – “So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires, but beware of them lest they seduce thee from some part of that which Allah hath revealed unto thee” Allah’s Qur’an takes priority over the desires of the people. A democratic nation is by nature one that is not governed by Islamic law, meaning that a Muslim citizen would have divided loyalty. It’s clear from this verse which side he must choose.
Quran (12:40) – “…Allah hath sent down no authority: the command is for none but Allah…” Sometimes translated as “None have the right to legislate except Allah.”
Quran (4:123) – “Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.”
Quran (4:59) – “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority from among you…” Obedience is strictly limited to a government drawn from believers, not from the broader community. This verse has also been used to justify submission to autocratic rule, however oppressive it may by. As an Arab tradition put is: “tyranny is better than anarchy.”
Quran (9:3) – “…Allah and his messenger are free from obligation to the unbelievers…” Muhammad used this “revelation” to dissolve a standing treaty and chase non-Muslims from their homes if they wouldn’t accept Islam. This practice would be incompatible with democratic rule, in which everyone is considered equal.
From the Hadith:
Muslim (19:4294) – “When you meet your enemies who are polytheists [Christians…], invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them … If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them” Non-Muslims are intended to be subordinate to Muslims.
Bukhari (88:219) – “Never will succeed such a nation as makes a woman their ruler.”
Bukhari (89:251) – Allah’s Apostle said, “Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me.” The ruler referred to here is the Caliph, who is appointed by Allah, not by popular election. Democratic rule has no legitimacy against the will of the Caliph who, as we see by chain of reference, has the authority of Allah.
At-Tirmidhi 169) – There is no obedience to anyone who is in disobedience to Allah

Speaking in Times Square, New York, a “Black Lives Matter” activist drew a parallel between Gaza and Harlem, saying that resistance was justified, whether in Palestine, Ferguson, Missouri, or NYC, and that “the liberation of Palestine is tied to the liberation of black people right here in the United States.” Speaking in Toronto, Canada, London-based Indian Shiite cleric Maulana Abbas Abedi said that “Zionism is the mother of ISIS.” Quds Day is an annual Iranian-led event, held on the last Friday of the month of Ramadhan. It was declared by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979.
So you see, the “struggle” of the Palestinians has now been linked to the struggle of blacks in the US. Substitute Israelis for American whites and police, and there you have it. Those who want to kill cops are now marching with those who want to kill Israelis.

In both word and deed, know that the same fist-pumping salutes and underpinnings of BLM and the Panthers (a domestic terror org.) are of piece with revolutionary war against “white Amerika.” Part and parcel thereof.

AFTERWARDS, decide whether or not tough-minded Bikers were taken in by Newsome’s (practiced) guile, that which can sway from one pitch to another, as he lulls many of them to sleep via this and that deceptive murmuring. After initially showing up to protest against Trump, the BLM leader was invited on stage to speak by Tommy Gunn, the organizer of the rally: “So you guys know that the ‘Mother of All Rallies’ was to end the political violence,” he said. “It’s about freedom of speech. It’s about celebration. So what we’re going to do is something you’re not used to, and we’re going to give you two minutes of our platform to put your message out. Whether they disagree or agree with your message is irrelevant. It’s the fact that you have the right to have the message.”
He added: “It’s your right to say what you believe. And it’s their right to let you know what they think about what you’re saying.”
Hank Newsome, the president of BLM New York, then addressed the crowd:
HANK NEWSOME: I am an American. And the beauty of America is that when you see something broke in your country, you can mobilize to fix it.
So you ask why there’s a Black Lives Matter. Because you can watch a black man die and be choked to death on television and nothing happens. We need to address that.
After being interrupted by jeers and boos, Newsome continued:
HANK NEWSOME: We are not anti-cop! We are anti-bad cop. We say if a cop is bad, he needs to get fired like a bad plumber, a bad lawyer, like a bad f***ing politician!
We don’t want handouts, we don’t want anything that is yours. We want our God-given right to freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Responding to a shout of “all lives matter,” Newsome continued:
HANK NEWSOME: You are so right, my brother, you are so right. All lives matter, right?
But when a black life is lost, we get no justice. That is why we say black lives matter.
If we really want America great, we do it together.
Newsome discussed the experience:
HANK NEWSOME: It kind of restored my faith in some of those people, because when I spoke truths, they agreed.
I feel like we made progress. I feel like two sides that never listen to each other actually made progress today. Did I expect to go on that stage? No. I expected to come down here with my fist in the air in a very militant way, exchange insults, maybe some dirty looks, or who knows what.
If not on a grander level, but just person to person, I think we really made some substantial steps, without either side yielding anything.
I hope they understand that one of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement is a proud American and a Christian, who cares deeply about the country and the people in it, whether they are documented or now. I want them to understand that we are educated, that we apply a strategy, but we come from a place of love. We really are here to help this country move towards a better place, not to destroy it.

CONCLUSIVELY, to tie up the revolutionary case into binding knots, a clear understanding must include: freedom of speech is surely one of Newsome’s rights. Unquestionably. But it dare not be confused with lending a platform to practiced deceivers – be they reds or greens! Wildly dangerous. National suicide.

BOTTOM LINE:
INFORMATIONAL warfare, ala red/green propaganda techniques, encourages the repetition of history’s horrors; inextricably, littering its wake with scores of bloodied bodies – attesting to the same!
In my capacity as a consultant for a privately held Homeland Security entity (as previously mentioned, it is linked with US and Israeli counterterror and counterintelligence contractors), I was tasked to analyze the extent – emphasis placed – of “soft/stealth” jihad in America (aka “civilization” jihad) through two vantage points: open source data, in conjunction with closely guarded intelligence, that which I have been privy to over the last decade.
That being said, while frontal jihad is less of a mystery (or so it would seem), many are unaware of the following: concerted efforts by power brokers in Washington (led by FED security agencies, backed up by a complicit media with a sundry list of globalists at their disposal) operate with deliberate force to separate Islam from jihadi terror – heaven forfend that blame is assigned to Mohammedans!
By extrapolation, increasingly, Americans find themselves imperiled. Similarly, westerners alike. As to the whys and wherefores of said “see/hear no Islamic evil”, its demonstrable basis will be left for another analysis. Suffice to state, their immoral blindness amounts to complicit behavior.
And, while the details of my latest fact-based analysis are strictly on a “need to know” basis (hence, no direct link to my report(s) can be accessed, unlike my blog work and related writings), an agreement was reached – with the consulting entity – which allows me to alert the public re any definitive conclusions derived thereof and deemed germane for public safety.
In this regard, the following is wholly supportable: the aforementioned “soft/stealth” jihad has been accomplished – yes, it’s a “done deal” – through decades of boring within by the Muslim Brotherhood Mafia via its five-point “Phased Plan.”
Phase 1: Establishment of an elite Muslim leadership, while raising taqwa, or Islamic consciousness, in the Muslim community.
Phase 2: Creation of Islamic institutions the leadership can control, along with the formation of autonomous Muslim enclaves.
Phase 3: Infiltration and Islamization of America’s political, social, economic and educational systems, forming a shadow state within the state. Escalation of religious conversions to Islam.
Phase 4: Openly hostile public confrontation over US policies, including rioting, and militant demands for special rights and accommodations for Muslims.
Phase 5: Final conflict and overthrow (jihad).
More specifically, pay heed to an open source timeline, but keep uppermost in mind: what has NOT been made public serves as absolute back up to the “success” of the Brotherhood Mafia’s (original) “Phased Plan” for America via its highly organized expansion from five to seven phases! Not only that, substitute al-Qaida for ISIS (al-Qaeda’s breakaway spawn from the Arabian peninsula, AQAP, or, for that matter, utilize a myriad of Islam’s hydra-based group names) and the outcome will be the same – a gravely endangered America/west. Resultant, listen up:
The First Phase,”The Awakening”, has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the US into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby “awakening” Muslims. “The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaida as very successful,” writes Fouad Hussein. “The battle field was opened up and the Americans and their allies became a closer and easier target.” The terrorist network is also reported as being satisfied that its message can now be heard “everywhere.”
The Second Phase was “Opening Eyes” and it lasted from 2003 until 2006. Hussein says the terrorists hoped to make the western conspiracy aware of the “Islamic community.” Hussein believes this was a phase in which al-Qaida wants an organization to develop into a movement. The network was banking on recruiting young men during this period. Iraq would become the center for all global operations, with an “army” set up there and bases established in other Arabic states.
The Third Phase was “Arising and Standing Up” and lasted from 2007 to 2010. “There should be a focus on Syria,” prophesies Hussein, based on what his sources told him. The fighting cadres are supposedly already prepared and some are in Iraq. Attacks on Turkey and — even more explosive — in Israel are predicted. Al-Qaida’s masterminds hope that attacks on Israel will help the terrorist group become a recognized organization. The author also believes that countries neighboring Iraq, such as Jordan, are also in danger.
The Fourth Phase, between 2010 and 2013, Hussein wrote that al-Qaida aimed to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate was that “the creeping loss of the regimes’ power will lead to a steady growth in strength within al-Qaida.” At the same time attacks were carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy was targeted using cyber terrorism.
The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared. The plan was that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared. Al-Qaida hopes that by then the Islamic state will be able to bring about a new world order.
The Sixth Phase Hussein believes that from 2016 onwards there will a period of “total confrontation.” As soon as the caliphate has been declared the “Islamic army” will instigate the “fight between the believers and the non-believers” which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.
The Seventh Phase This final stage is described as “definitive victory.” Hussein writes that in the terrorists’ eyes, because the rest of the world will be so beaten down by the “one-and-a-half billion Muslims,” the caliphate will undoubtedly succeed. This phase should be completed by 2020, although the war shouldn’t last longer than two years.
Now, while many have tsk, tsked at the notion of bringing the all-powerful America to her knees (concomitantly, the rest of the west, including Israel, is expected to fall as a direct knock-on effect), western patriots must understand that most of the above has been on target – markedly so. To wit, time is of the essence!!
Even so, for this discussion, it is the “soft/stealth” aspect which bears the closest scrutiny.
Most inherently, Sharia Law, the key underpinning to Islam (which contravenes – is at war with – ALL aspects of the U.S. Constitution), is in place in America – even though the powers that be feign otherwise. In fact, this has been the case for years – all denials notwithstanding.
More revealingly, not only is an omertà handed down from atop Washington’s leading agencies against any criticism of Islam (aka the “religion of peace”), the “laws of blasphemy”, through practical application, are already in place!
Significantly, while a full-on timeline to the above entrenchment is included (and so much more) within “Soft/Stealth Jihad Encircles The West – An Analytical Report”, the fact remains that a majority of Americans remain blind to the oncoming jihadi encirclement.
Although, up until now, the “soft/stealth” method has been their “weapon of choice”, there are detailed, albeit fluid, plans for a final battle to achieve ultimate victory – to bring America to her knees!
Trust, the vast array of inroads made by Sharia Law proponents into all aspects of American life are nothing short of catastrophic. So, while countless Americans slept, their gains have been VERY impressive. No doubt.
Still yet, if anything, the latest encroachment will, hopefully, set off the necessary alarm bells: As of August 2017, a New Jersey township that was sued by Muslims for refusing to approve a massive mosque project is returning to court because of a settlement agreement that restricts speech regarding Islam.
The settlement required the township to hold a public meeting about the mosque project, but it forbade anyone from commenting on “Islam” or “Muslims.”
A key tenet of Shariah, the Muslim law that governs both personal and political life, bans any negative comments about Islam or Muslims.
According to the Thomas More Law Center, which sued the township on behalf of two residents whose home is within 200 feet of the proposed mega-mosque, the settlement with Bernards Township “reads more like an instrument of surrender.”
The Islamic Society of Basking Ridge sued and won a decision in federal court after its mosque proposal was rejected based on traffic and other concerns.
The Township agreed on a $3.5 million payment and a “public hearing to approve the settlement.”
Residents Christopher and Loretta Quick challenged the agreement in court, arguing it restricts speech and violates the Establishment Clause by preferring Islam over other religions…..continue here…..

WITH the above established as a core foundation and educational tool, the initial mission involved first-hand visits into the netherworld of Islam’s inner sanctums, which led straight into Muslim-owned bookstores, preferably, attached to mosques. Thus, stretches of Brooklyn’s Atlantic Avenue in New York, Astoria, Queens, and nearby environs within Paterson and Jersey City, New Jersey, etc. became like second-skin; Arab/Muslim enclaves whereby one can be forgiven for thinking they were somehow dropped on their head into the heart of the Middle East! And while walking these streets and heading into a restaurant or two is the touristy thing to do, suffice to say that it doesn’t cut it in this line of work. Mind you, it took every ounce of cajoling to convince Frank Kutnicki, z”l (of blessed memory) to part with, and entrust to this one and that one, his ‘delicate flower’ (his words, not mine!), Sunday after Sunday. But let’s not digress.
MOST advisedly, it is intrinsic not to stick out like a sore thumb, so to speak, whether in their neighborhoods in the States or in the belly of the Middle East. Resultant, it is more than prudent to tag-team with someone who is not only a trusted contact, but who ‘fits in.’ Thank heavens for select associates, some of whom (in the U.S. and Israel) ‘pass’ for Arab Muslims and are always more than eager to assist, even after years of collaborative efforts. Let’s just leave it at that.
AS such, the initial educational foray (as mentioned, it wends back sixteen years ago) was acquired from a bookstore attached to a well-known Sunni (al-Qaeda/ISIS) mosque on Atlantic Avenue. It commenced with purchasing Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s Qu’ran – the most widely known and respected by Islamic scholars, as well as English translated text used in the Anglo-speaking world – and other goodies alike. Meanwhile, the forever nameless ‘fly on the wall’, duly fluent in Arabic, soaked it all in. Truly, as always, a hero in these eyes. More than a wing-man. And, know that what they say in Arabic to each other is NOT what they say in English to the clueless and feckless masses!
MOVING right along, at first blush when reading the Qu’ran, one becomes immersed in a stranger than strange journey into convoluted Alice-in-Wonderland verses that hardly make any sense, let alone within any normative context. Okey dokey. But to be fair, that’s to be, more or less, expected. On the other hand, as one delves a little further into the text(s), the crazy factor starts to kick in. Big time.
EVEN so, in order to get to the thrust – that which majorly impacts upon the common denominator of all things jihad – let’s cut to the chase. To do so, the following excerpts from “Was Muhammad Insane? It’s All About Muhammad” are where it’s at. The ‘Black Hearts.’ Don’t dare let anyone opine otherwise and attempt to sway you into a more positive-thinking ‘interpretative’ direction. Besides, who are you gonna believe and trust, this investigative journalist and counter-jihadist – who lives and breathes battling back Islamic jihad – or one or another apologist for Islam?? It’s your call.
THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM OF ISLAM is the belief that God talked to Muhammad and dictated the contents of the Koranto him. Muslims are indoctrinated into believing the Koran is God’s word, and so they act on the numerous incitements to violence that they find in it.
What they find in the Koran came from the mind of Muhammad, and for insight into the mental condition of this “prophet,” consider Chapter 33 of his Koran, entitled “The Confederates.” This is one of the chapters Muhammad composed in Yathrib (later called Medina) where he fled after his Meccan compatriots realized they needed to kill him to preserve their way of life.
The chapter is like a wild theme park ride that races in and out of numerous topics. In the 73 verses that make up the chapter, Muhammad covers the following in the God-voice he used for the Koran: He recaps a recent battle with the Meccans and excoriates people who were afraid to fight and die for him; he gloats about his extermination of the men and boys of one of the Jewish tribes of Yathrib, the confiscation of their property, and the enslavement of their women and children; he authorizes himself to take as many wives as he likes, permits himself to marry the wife of his adopted son, forbids himself from taking any more wives after he has taken as many as he likes, but allows himself sex slaves.
As the verses of this “revelation” continue, Muhammad imposes full body and face cover for women when outside the home, threatens people with humiliating punishment in the afterlife for annoying him, threatens to murder his critics, prohibits the practice of adoption, and dishes up images of sadistic torture in Hell awaiting people who don’t believe in him. He also praises himself as a “lamp spreading light,” and holds his behavior as a “beautiful pattern” for people to follow if they want to score well with Allah.
Among the verses is a celestial advisory that he must be obeyed:
“It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path.” (Koran 33:36) [All of the Koran quotes in this article are taken from the Yusuf Ali translation.]
“O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Verse 59)
Three of the sequential verses (50-52) have to do with the wives that Muhammad allows himself, and in their blatantly self-serving way they are perhaps the most amusing lines of the Koran:
“O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Mecca) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her; this only for thee, and not for the Believers.” (Verse 50)
In the verse that follows, he allows himself to rotate among his wives however he pleases. In Verse 52, he tells himself it is not lawful for him to marry any more women after all the above have been married “even though their beauty attracts” him, nor to change them for other wives. However, he allows himself the option of taking slaves as wives.
The chapter is full of self-praise, selfies taken on a celestial selfie stick.
Verse 21: “Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.” Verses 45-46: “O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner. And as one who invites to Allah’s (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light.”
More self-praise can be found in Verse 56 wherein he advises believers to bless him and “salute him with all respect,” because that is what Allah and Allah’s angels do to him. This is followed by a suite of verses that rail against people who refuse to believe that God talks to him, salutes him, and blesses him. He threatens infidels that they will pay for their lack of belief in him in blazing hellfire. “Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!” he says in Verse 68.
The Koran is full of such nonsense and oozes with Muhammad’s hatred for people who rejected him. But it is not necessary to read the entire book to realize it is the product on an extremely disturbed mind.
Islam is demented because it is all about Muhammad and his claim that God talked to him. His delusion of communion with the divine was likely brought about by epileptic fits caused by a malformed temporal lobe. He was a psychopath as well, a lethal combination that led him down the path of pathological evil.
Islam represents the institutionalized version of his neurological and psychological disorders.
All you have to do to understand the truth about the mind that created Islam and the ideology that is threatening the world is to read Chapter 33 of Muhammad’s Koran, which means “Recital.”
It is the recital of a madman.

Adina Kutnicki: Adnan Oktar enters into the Stealth Jihad arena under the protective umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood. President Trump has decided not to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization, at least for now, according to published reports citing pressure from the U.S. State Department and the King of Jordan.
Anonymous sources told the Washington Times that the administration “backed down from a plan to designate the Brotherhood” after an internal State Department memo advised against it.
The State Department’s argument – put forth in a memo to the White House – comes down to a belief that there is actually more than one Brotherhood and that one side is not as bad as the other because it works through democratic processes in the Middle East, the Washington Times reports.
Yet, it’s always been known that the Brotherhood operates on multiple levels.
According to scholar Martin Kramer, the Muslim Brotherhood from its early days had “a double identity.” Kramer, as quoted by Discover the Networks, writes:
“On one level, they operated openly, as a membership organization of social and political awakening. [Founder Hassan] al-Banna preached moral revival, and the Muslim Brethren engaged in good works. On another level, however, the Muslim Brethren created a ‘secret apparatus’ that acquired weapons and trained adepts in their use. Some of its guns were deployed against the Zionists in Palestine in 1948, but the Muslim Brethren also resorted to violence in Egypt. ALL of which brings us here(as reported in July 2015) to the most egregious knock-on effect of all; CAIR’s ability to direct, influence, the national security shots– then, as now – even with President Trump in power!
The good folks at CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) are quite peeved at the even better folks at the United States Air Force. As it turns out, the Muslim group is demanding that our Air Force immediately fire a civilian counter-terrorism instructor CAIR deems “Islamophobic.”
Thusly by CAIR’s logic Dunleavy is guilty by association (once removed) of the thought crime of Islamophobia, and due to such, is deserving of losing his job.
As it turns out, Dunleavy is an instructor at the US Air Force’s Special Operations Command headquartered at Hurlburt Field, Florida, teaching a course entitled The Dynamics of International Terrorism.
While Dunleavy has been classified as a subject matter expert by both the USAF and the United States Congress, besides teaching counter-terrorism to Air Force leaders, he has also before been called before Congress to testify as “an expert witness on the threat of Islamic radicalization in the nation’s prison system.”
This week it called on the military to get rid of a top counterterrorism instructor at the United States Air Force Special Operations School (USAFSOS) in Florida. The instructor, Patrick Dunleavy, teaches a course called“The Dynamics of International Terrorism” designed to provide awareness and appreciation of the organization, motivation, operational capabilities and threat posed by terrorists on an international, national, and regional basis. It was designed for individuals with no previous antiterrorism training and focuses on protective measures that government personnel and their families can employ to minimize threats.
Dunleavy, the course instructor, isa former deputy inspector general for the New York State Department of Corrections and has testified before Congress as an expert witness on the threat of Islamic radicalization in the nation’s prison system. Dunleavy is also a senior fellow at a decades-old nonprofit dedicated to investigating the operations, funding, activities and front groups of Islamic extremists worldwide. The think-tank, Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), is recognized as a comprehensive data center on radical Islamic terrorist cells and its founder is a terrorism and national security expert who has advised Congress, the president, FBI and National Security Council. After 9/11 he published a best-selling book documenting how one of the world’s most notorious terrorist groups plotted the worst terrorist attack on American soil without detection or scrutiny by American authorities.
CAIR uses Dunleavy’s association with IPT to call for his ouster as a military antiterrorism instructor, asserting that the research center is an “anti-Muslim propaganda mouthpiece, and has made a number of false statements betraying a personal prejudice against Islam and Muslims.” IPT’s founder, Steven Emerson, has a history of making “Islamophobic” statements, CAIR says, involving terrorist attacks that date back to the 1990s. The Islamic group reminds the commander of the U.S. Airforce Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field in Florida (Lieutenant General Marshall B. Webb), that under Obama the military caved into its demands. “As you may recall in 2012, then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey ordered the U.S. military to ‘scour its training material to ensure it doesn’t contain anti-Islamic content,” CAIR writes in a letter to Lieutenant General Webb. Judicial Watch will monitor this situation to see how the Trump Department of Defense (DOD) handles these preposterous requests.

American intelligence agencieshave growing evidence that the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group maintains a network of sleeper cells in the United States, according to a new report.
Though Hezbollah has not conducted a major attack on U.S. soil, the group could decide to strike key American sites should U.S.-Iran relations deteriorate substantially, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism.
“Preparations to combat Islamist terrorism broadly should strongly consider the nuanced and growing Hezbollah threat to U.S. national security,” the report concludes.
Hezbollah or “the Party of God” is based in southern Lebanon and has long served as Iran’s way of Islamizing a formerly Christian country while also stoking the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and periodically launching rockets into northern Israel.
But the organization has other enemies besides Israel and should not be viewed within the narrow scope of the Arab-Israel conflict.
In fact, the Shiite terror group has been building its presence in South America since the late 1980’s and was able to make inroads on the North American continent during the Obama years, terror analysts say.
The problem is not new but it is reaching a point where a major terrorist event on U.S. soil is more possible, said John Guandolo, a former FBI counter-terrorism specialist who now operates a private consulting business at Understanding the Threat.
He says there is now a sizable Hezbollah presence in the U.S.
Urging Trump to take action
“There is a great deal of testimony – much of it by senior Drug Enforcement Agency officials – over the years revealing how dangerous the situation is,” Guandolo told WND.
“They operate under the direct authority of the leadership of Iran which makes them, legally, an agent of an enemy state operating in the U.S.,” he added. “Our response, in my opinion, should be very strong. For the last eight or nine years we have not taken any strong action, but hopefully that will change.”
About a dozen U.S. mosques in several states are owned or supported by the New York City-based Alavi Foundation, which has ties to the government of Iran. One such mosque is the Islamic Education Center in Potomac, Maryland, Guandolo said.
Alavi’s mosques and all its U.S. assets, including a 36-story glass tower in Manhattan, were seized in 2013-14 for alleged links to Iran’s government in violation of sanctions against that country, but the forfeiture was reversed on appeal in July 2016.

The main plaintiffin the Hawaii case blocking President Trump’s revised temporary travel ban is an imam with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The irony is hard to miss: Trump has talked about declaring the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, and now it is a Brotherhood-backed imam who is playing a key role in blocking his executive order on immigration.
Imam Ismail Elshikh, 39, leads the largest mosque in Hawaii and claims he is suffering “irreparable harm” from the president’s executive order, which places a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from six countries.
One of those six countries is Syria. Elshikh’s mother in law is Syrian and would not be able to visit her family in Hawaii for 90 days if Trump’s ban were allowed to go into effect.
Hawaii’s Obama-appointed federal judge, Derrick Watson, made sure the ban did not go into effect, striking it down Wednesday while buying Hawaii’s claim that it amounts to a “Muslim ban.” The state’s attorney general, along with co-plaintiff Elshikh, claims the ban would irreparably harm the state’s tourism industry and its Muslim families.
“Plaintiffs allege that the Executive Order subjects portions of the State’s population, including Dr. Elshikh and his family, to discrimination in violation of both the Constitution and the INA, denying them their right, among other things, to associate with family members overseas on the basis of their religion and national origin. The State purports that the Executive Order has injured its institutions, economy, and sovereign interest in maintaining the separation between church and state.”
The vast majority of Hawaii’s roughly 5,000 Muslims attend Elshikh’s mosque, the Muslim Association of Hawaii, which is located in a residential area of Manoa, Honolulu. The mosque, despite its ties to what many believe is an extremist and subversive organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, may now hold the key to whether the Trump travel ban passes muster in the federal court system.
Elshikh was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, the home base of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose stated goal is to spread Shariah law throughout the world.
Elshikh is living in the U.S. on a green card, which gives him permanent legal status.
The proof that his mosque is affiliated with the Brotherhood is found in the court records for Honolulu County, which lists the deed holder as the North American Islamic Trust.
John Guandolo, a former FBI counter-terrorism specialist and now private consultant to law enforcement at Understanding the Threat, said all mosques under the “Muslim Association of” moniker are typically affiliated with the Brotherhood.

SO if 1 + 1 still equals two, doesn’t it add up that a Muslim Brotherhood plaintiff would be a main force behind thwarting said ban, in tandem with one of HUSSEIN Obama’s judicial henchmen? Is Ibn Warraq a racist? Warraq was born in India to Muslim parents who migrated to Pakistan after the partitioning of British Indian Empire. Warraq founded the Institute for the Secularization of Islamic Society. He is a senior research fellow at the Center for Inquiry, focusing on Quranic criticism. Warraq is the author of seven books, including Why I Am Not a Muslim and Leaving Islam. Is Francis Bok a racist? Francis Piol Bol Bok, born in Sudan, was a slave for ten years but is now an abolitionist and author living in the United States. Is Nonie Darwish a racist? Now an American, she grew up a Muslim in Egypt, the daughter of an Egyptian general whose family was part of President Nasser’s inner circle. Darwish founded Former Muslims United with Ibn Warraq, an organization dedicated, in part, to helping Muslims reject the inherent intolerance, violence, and supremacism in their doctrine. Is Mark Gabriel a racist? Born in Egypt, he became an Islamic scholar in the Muslim world’s most prestigious university, Al Azhar. Early fears by relatives that Mark would grow up a Christian because he had been breastfed by a Christian woman resulted in him being given a thorough Islamic education. So he grew up immersed in Islamic culture and was sent to Al Azhar at the age of six. By the time Gabriel was twelve years old he had memorized the Quran completely. After graduating from Al-Azhar University with a Master’s degree, he was offered a position as a lecturer at the university. During his research, which involved travel to Eastern and Western countries, Gabriel became more distant from Islam, finding its history, “from its commencement to date, to be filled with violence and bloodshed without any worthwhile ideology or sense of decency. I asked myself ‘What religion would condone such destruction of human life?’ Based on that, I began to see that the Muslim people and their leaders were perpetrators of violence.” On hearing that Gabriel had “forsaken Islamic teachings,” the authorities of Al Azhar expelled him from the University on 17 December 1991 and asked for him to be released from the post of Imam in the mosque of Amas Ebn Malek in Giza city. The Egyptian secret police then seized Gabriel and placed him in a cell without food and water for three days, after which he was tortured and interrogated for four days before being transferred to Calipha prison in Cairo and released without charge a week later. He escaped Egypt and has since written several books, including, Islam and Terrorism.

AS always, shining a floodlight upon the dangers lurking withinis always the best course of action. This is irrespective of the fact that certain matters must be kept under wraps in order to allow for a sneak and stealth-like attack. TO wit, after all the ceremonial hoopla runs its inaugural course, it is beyond a national emergency to implement Ted Cruz’s legislation. So much so that leftists, in tandem with anti-American Islamist terror front groups, are increasingly concerned about its passage. Now, why would that be??
A bill introduced this week by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) calls on the U.S. State Department to declare the Muslim Brotherhood and its American affiliates like CAIR, a foreign terrorist organization (as 5 other Muslim countries already have). Advocates for American Muslims suspect a darker purpose ― to smear and potentially prosecute American Muslim advocacy groups, a move that could prove disastrous for the civil rights of Muslims in this country (but would protect Americans from Muslim groups whose goals are anti-American at their core)
Ted Cruz and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) introduced the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act in both chambers of Congress on Tuesday. In a press release, Cruz said that the brotherhood espouses “a violent Islamist ideology with a mission of destroying the West” and that formally designating them a terror group would “enable the U.S. to take action that could stifle the funding they receive to promote their terrorist activities.”
It’s the fifth time members of the Senate and House, urged on by a network of anti-Muslim groups, have attempted to label the Muslim Brotherhood a terror organization.
A2009 American Civil Liberties Union reviewof Muslim charities in the crosshairs found that Bush’s executive order “effectively allows the government to shut down an organization without notice or hearing and on the basis of classified evidence, and without any judicial review.”
Now Cruz’s legislation looks like another step along that road.“The bill is about domestic control of Muslims,” Corey Saylor, director of the department to monitor and combat Islamophobia at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), told The Huffington Post. “It has everything to do with a theory that Muslim organizations are nefarious.”
“Let me be extremely clear,” J.M. Berger, a counterterrorism analyst at George Washington University’s Program on Extremism, told BuzzFeed last fall, speaking of the broader idea of a terrorist designation for the Muslim Brotherhood. “This initiative is concerned with controlling American Muslims, not with any issue pertaining to the Muslim Brotherhood in any practical or realistic sense.”
For years, anti-Muslim groups have claimed that CAIR, the country’s largest Muslim civil rights organization, and other pro-Islam groups in the U.S. are, in fact, fronts for the brotherhood.
Saylor vehemently denied that allegation on Wednesday. “The Muslim Brotherhood affects CAIR the way a dust storm on Mars affects the weather in Washington, D.C.,” he said, adding that CAIR has never received funding from the brotherhood. MIND you, while cutting off ISIS’s legs in the Middle East (and North Africa) is beyond a western emergency, the fact remains that leaving the Brotherhood hydra intact in America will not mitigate any of its effects. This is the case despite the fact that ISIS is one of its progeny. In other words, it is the Brotherhood Mafia which is the head of the snake!
WHICH brings us to here: aside from the growing colonization of America – for political purposes – through Mohammedans via an unending “refugee” dumping ground since the 1970’s, how many times must it be proven that allowing Islamists into America is nothing short of America’s – of western civilization’s – death keel, as jihadi-laden clerics continue to preach….and preach….hatred all across America, and not just in central Florida?

MOST significantly, outlawing the Brotherhood Mafia – its entire terror apparatus – would pave the way for countless arrests/deportations, plus the raiding of each and every mosque and safe house within America, be they in large or small cities, towns, rural outposts and every community in between.
