Trump to Abolish IRS … Hmm …

man in white and blue hat

By Adina Kutnicki

WHEREAS the entire FED apparatus must be demolished for the welfare and the safety of the nation — never again to rise from its ashes — well, first up should be the IRS; a crime-ridden, RICO-like behemoth which procures taxpayer monies through so-called legal means. And, next in line, the Dept. of (mis)Education has to be obliterated. Brick by brick.

BE that as it may, rational folks understand that without the endless cash from hard-working taxpayers, the Deep State’s devilish plans would be DOA. Effectively, the people are funding their own destruction!

ALAS, is it any wonder that the ever-corrupt IRS is in President Trump’s cross-hairs?? Asked and answered.

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 28, 2022

When President Donald J. Trump makes an official return to office, he will sign an Executive Order abolishing an institution that has fleeced hard-working American citizens since its inception in 1862. That organization is, of course, the Internal Revenue Service. Archaic and dysfunctional, the IRS, which Donald Trump has called “the deepest depths of the Deep State,” has defrauded working citizens of incalculable sums.

Sources at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago headquarters told Real Raw News that Trump has long sought to eradicate the IRS, and he was in the midst of planning its dissolution when the Deep State stole the 2020 presidential election. Before that, though, Trump was not prepared to obliterate the IRS with a stroke of his presidential pen, because he and his closest advisors had yet to decide how vital entities like the U.S. military would survive sans federal tax dollars.

Only 20% of federal income tax funds national defense and security, and half of that funds frivolous alphabet agencies such as the unnecessary TSA, FEMA, and Plum Island Animal Disease Center, among others. The remainder has financed illegal immigration, illicit, covert wars on foreign soil, paid for legislatures’ lavish vacations, and bankrolled vindictive federal trials against innocent persons. In fact, if you’re a tax-paying patriot, your dollars (and mine) are funding the Biden regime’s malicious prosecution of the 800 patriots who lawfully visited the Capitol—the People’s House—on January 6.

Sources told RRN that Trump’s team has found a viable way to finance the Armed Forces without collecting a single federal dollar. They would not prematurely share “the plan” because doing so would give the Deep State time to publicly discredit it as part of their unsanctimonious war on Trump.

“It’s been years in design and he’s not giving the Deep State a heads up,” a source said. “It was always Trump’s intent to drain the swamp. Unfortunately, he made mistakes early in his presidency by bringing the Deep State into his administration. The mistake won’t happen twice. He’s going to disembowel the federal government. The IRS is a primary head of the hydra; when it’s severed, the other heads will die with it.”

The Internal Revenue Service currently employs 78,661 people, each of whom earn ~$76,000 annually. In other words, taxpayers each year pay IRS employees $9bn.

“It’s Trump’s position we’re paying them to rob us. Imagine if a home invader enters your house, and you say ‘Oh, hi! Welcome. Let me pay you to rob me.’ That’s analogous of what’s been going on for a very, very long time,” a source said.

Corruption within the IRS has run rampant, he added.

In early May 2022, it was revealed that IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig oversaw the destruction of data related to millions of filings. Rather than accept accountability, Rettig blamed data loss on “Covid confusion.” His “error” delayed tax returns and, according to President Trump, was a carefully concocted plan to absolve high-earning Deep Staters of paying any federal taxes whatsoever.

“Tens of thousands of Deep State millionaires and billionaires paid no taxes. Why did he demolish data on 30 million filings? Well, because the best way to commit a crime is to conceal it behind an accident. By fowling those 30 million filings, he was easily able to conceal ten thousand or so,” our source said.

Trump, he added, has seen enough.

“With the destruction of the IRS, other agencies will wither and die. Trump wants Americans to reap the benefits of their hard work; he wants them to keep what they work for,” he said.

Military Convicts Denis McDonough … What Does It Mean?

By Adina Kutnicki

Who Is Denis McDonough, Obama's New Chief of Staff? - The Atlantic
WHEREAS out of the loop folks can’t even identify what position the latest deep state player held, those in the know certainly understood why he was hunted down, like the dog that he was — yes, he is no longer among the living!

FOR a brief recap as per his treasonous crimes, see below.

NOW that McDonough’s treacherous backgrounder is laid out, the following squares the circle, so to speak. And, by the way, Obama 3.0, as always, is right in the thick of it!

♦  ♦  ♦  ♦  ♦

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 27, 2022

On July 22 a panel of three officers at Guantanamo Bay convicted and voted to execute the criminal Biden regime’s secretary of veteran affairs, Denis McDonough, following a brief tribunal that saw the defendant deliver a teary-eyed opening statement in which he apologized for fleecing the VA for billions of dollars but also refused to take full accountability for his crimes.

Instead, he blamed Obama, saying that the dark lord “is the Deep State” and responsible for everything from the stolen 2020 presidential election to the Democrat’s campaign to vilify Trump, from sky high inflation across the spectrum to the Covid and Monkeypox scares. He shook his handcuffed wrists in the air while at length imploring the tribunal to understand that Obama never truly abdicated authority when Trump resoundingly spanked Clinton in the 2016 election. He likened Obama to a prison shot caller, a person who displays a veneer of affability and reclusiveness but whose sinister machinations control the yard. McDonough spoke of secret meetings where Obama, the heads of all American intelligence agencies, and tenured Democrat congressmen plotted the collapse of America, as we know it.

“What I did was wrong, but Obama pulls all the strings,” McDonough said.

As he presented his defense, Vice Adm. Darse E. Crandall paced the courtroom like a fenced-in rooster. The admiral sighed heavily.

“This is all very interesting, but we covered this at your deposition. In all honesty, I believe what you say, but you have no proof other than your word. Remind this tribunal, if you will, when you last saw or talked to Obama,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.

McDonough gazed skyward a moment, as if trying to pull the memory from some hidden cul-de-sac of his conscious mind. “Let me see, last time we talked was in 2016.”

“But, according to you, these secret Obama meetings are still happening,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.

“Of course they are. I might not have proof. Obama makes sure proof is hard to come by. But they’re going on all the time,” McDonough replied.

Vice Adm. Crandall brought the conversation back to the present. “You stole more than $50bn from the VA and gave it to the Ukrainian government. That money was slotted to help wounded American soldiers, to supply care for their dependents, and was part of the VA housing assistance program.”

“I did.”

“And did Obama order you to do this?” Vice Adm. Crandall asked.

“No, not directly. He’s not that careless. Instructions are sent from an anonymous number to burner phones, which we destroy, incinerate, right after.”

“Mr. McDonough, we have your confession, we have your emails, we have copies of financial wire transactions authorized by you to arrange the transfer of funds to the Ukrainian government in Kyiv. If you’re withholding information, this really is your last chance. It could save your life,” Vice Adm. Crandall said.

But McDonough didn’t budge, said he had shared with the tribunal all that he knew. Rivulets of tears streamed down his face.

“I really believe that money was meant to help wounded Ukrainian soldiers,” he said.

Vice Adm. Crandall asked the panel to consider the evidence and to reach a verdict. All three said McDonough was guilty of treason, and they recommended he get the maximum punishment—death—for his treasonous crimes.

Two days later, on 24 July, a U.S. Marine who had been screened by the Office of Military Commissions fulfilled his oath to the Constitution. McDonough had said he “didn’t want to see it coming,” and was thus blindfolded.

Wasp Venom Found in Child Covid Shots … To What End??

Am I allergic to bee and wasp stings? - Western Exterminator Blog

Novel antimicrobial molecules derived from wasp venom

HOT on the heels of finding out that the devils in charge of the deep state poisoned child covid clot-shots with scopolamine,

  • Scopolamine Found in Child Covid Vaccines

,here we go again! This is not happenstance, incidental, accidental, nor coincidental. Not at all.

AFTER all, the core of the collusive efforts, that is, between Fauci and Co. and the CCP, centered around the decimation of the American family and the knock-on effects to the economy. Masterfully evil.

IN this regard, fast forward to the here and now and the wreckage is self-evident. This is so without even calculating the horrific effects yet to be factored in. Indeed, here we go again!

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 27, 2022

Do the horrors ever end?

The U.S. military continues to find anomalous ingredients in Covid-19 vaccines that manufacturers Pfizer and Moderna manufactured—and allegedly attenuated—for children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old. Last week, Real Raw News exclusively reported that the military had found the drug scopolamine, a hallucinogenic mixture with harmful properties, at mass vaccination centers in New York, California, and Washington. The criminal Biden regime and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky have said “these shots will protect our children against the deadliest disease we’ve ever faced.” White Hats within the U.S. military, however, have been scouting these bulk vaccination sites and surreptitiously confiscating vaccine vials for chemical analysis. The latest data show that samples acquired from a vaccination center in Redmond, Washington, contain the venom of the tarantula hawk wasp, which, according to entomologist Justin Schmidt, ranks among the most painful stings on the planet.

On 25 July, White Hats at U.S. Army Medical Research received 75 vials—450 doses—of child Covid vaccine taken from the Redmond location. Four of the 75 vials contained 19mg of venom per 1,000-unit vial. A typical tarantula hawk sting delivers ~100mcg of venom. In layman’s terms, each vial held 19,000mcg of venom, or 42.5mcg per dose. This may seem trivial because each dose envenomates the recipient with less than half the potency of a typical sting; however, the victims are very young infants and children with low pain thresholds.

Adults have described the tarantula hawk wasp sting as worse than that of the hornet, clearly suggesting it is painful and temporarily debilitating.

Worse, approximately 1% of children allergic to wasp stings have endured anaphylactic shock. In the absence of antihistamines like an epi-pen, some kids have died from a single sting.

But White Hats don’t believe the wasp venom is part of a eugenics program to eradicate our children. Rather, they assert the Deep State is involved in a widespread program aimed at causing immeasurable suffering among our population’s most vulnerable demographic—children, as part of a sinister but not fully understood agenda.

“This is obviously meant to make children scream in pain when they get a Covid shot. The shot is painful enough, but with the wasp venom added, it’s 100 times worse,” said Captain John Forsythe at Medical Research and Development Command. “That only a small percentage of children get the contaminated vaccines doesn’t matter. It’s unspeakably horrifying and potentially harmful to those who get it. The vaccine is deadly enough without the contaminants.”

America’s Far-Left Leaders, A/K/A Elites, Mirror Sodom and Gomorrah: The Evidentiary Trails

By Adina Kutnicki

(Sodom and Gomorrah afire by Jacob de Wet II, 1680, two legendary biblical cities destroyed by God for their wickedness.[1])

IT is not an exaggeration to posit: America’s far-left leaders and so-called civil society elites are furiously bent on turning the nation into a facsimile of a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah – the notoriously sinful Biblical cities, sans moral boundaries, destroyed by G-d. This is hardly a hyperbolic statement. Rather, it is an accurate depicter of what passes for “normative” behavior within the nation’s key institutions at large. Godless.
CONSIDER:
IT is becoming commonplace to encounter the insertion of nakedly, fetishistic, hyper-sexualization into the educational sphere; a full-on infiltration and penetration. No pun intended. Underlying it all, actually, key and core, is a fixation to reel in the kiddies during their formative years; a developmental time when they are completely impressionable and ripe enough for grooming. Indeed, some of the targeted age groups, the pre-K set (objects of their criminal and perverse desires), are barely out of diapers!
NOT only that, the National Education Association, a/k/a NEA, proposed a resolution (one among many to accelerate sexual confusion, biology, be damned) to “change ‘mother’ to ‘birthing parent’.” Now, why would they do that??
AS a matter of factual record, whereas proficiency in the “three R’s” continuously fall far off the mark – schoolchildren in America are, repeatedly, beaten in this fundamental arena by less developed countries around the world – the (mis)educators are busying themselves with “teaching” the kiddies the “joys of twerking”, as well as how to try on/shed their biological sex as if it involved a new costume of clothing. Of course, “proper pronouns” are requisite and mandatory lesson plans.
BUT none of the above sickness could transpire without many helping hands – admittedly, some of whom are more instrumental than others. Alas, let’s head to a well-known, uber-heeled family whose satanic-leaning tentacles reach to the highest recesses of America’s political power centers, as well as to untold financial wealth.
INTRODUCING:
WARNING: Do not access the above link on a full stomach!
MOVING right along, there are no safe spaces/zones for the kiddies within today’s upside down poisonous culture. As per two exhibits out of countless,
ALL of which (and so much more) underscores why those at the tippy-top possess a shameless sense of entitlement and justification, that is, when exposing the most precious and innocent of all, the kiddies, to a plethora of twisted “teachings”, come what may. If anything, it is a cancerous scourge throughout America’s landscape and with no end in sight.
ON the upside – and there is one – it appears that the hierarchy at the America College of Pediatricians, belatedly, is raising the alarm, even though a growing sub-set of individual woke members beg to differ.
MEMO to the Docs …. Listen Up:
IN no uncertain terms, to maintain licensure requirements – let alone, to abide by ethical and moral standards – mandates an absolute adherence to the Hippocratic Oath! The aforementioned is dependent upon the below. The guidelines are non-discretionary and totally binding.
IT is often said that the exact phrase “First do no harm” (Latin: Primum non nocere) is a part of the original Hippocratic oath. Although the phrase does not appear in the AD 245 version of the oath, similar intentions are vowed by, “I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm”.
BUT make no mistake. When the leadership and the self-anointed elites, a/k/a the rotten fish, stink from the head up – still, countless stand aside and pretend that what is isn’t, thereby, tolerating madness upon madness – the silent onlookers, too, become complicit in whatever criminal deviance develops. More pointedly, they dare not complain when the foundations beneath their feet crack – to a degree in which they, and their loved ones, are in danger of being swallowed up, in a manner of speaking.
AT its base, a society which “worships” and encourages unrestricted sexual gratification (be it with the little ones or others outside the age of consent), inexorably, is one which views abortion as a “right.” Resultant, it is the crossing of one immoral line after another which leads to the nihilistic position that an inconvenient pregnancy is little more than waste to be disposed of. “Naturally”, infanticide becomes the next “logical” stepping-stone.
EVIL begets evil.
ALONG this trajectory of pure, unfettered self-indulgence, the notion of assisting others (who are economically suffering through no fault of their own) becomes inconsequential. To be sure, mouthing platitudes via the redistribution of (someone else’s) wealth is their modus operandi. Read: Champagne socialists.
INCONTESTABLY, it is beyond a shadow of a doubt that the evisceration of all moral boundaries will be the main legacy which future generations will inherit from those who tolerate the intolerable; a “gift”, to a certainty, that will explode in their faces. Ask yourselves: How different is today’s deviance from that which enveloped the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah?
The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah have come to epitomize moral depravity and cruelty. As we read in this week’s Torah portion, G‑d’s only recourse was to completely destroy them and their environs.
Scripture is characteristically sparse when telling us of their failures, only saying that “the people of Sodom were bad, sinning to G‑d very much.”1 Talmudic and Midrashic sources give us a much fuller account of the hair-raising wickedness and godlessness that characterized these towns.
Sodomite Hospitality
The Sodomites enjoyed a relatively high standard of living. Regarding Sodom, the Torah tells us that the entire plain was “well-watered . . . like the garden of G‑d,”2 and it follows that the crops were plentiful and good. The selfish Sodomites did not want to share this bounty with outsiders. To this end, they enacted laws and took great pains to repel travelers.
MOST urgently, the ultimate question remains:
ACUTELY, this is the tragic state of affairs within America, and with a spillover into much of the west. And difficult as it is to admit, the far-left in Israel is attempting to catch up to their so-called “enlightened” peers in the ever-admired America. Yes, they are.

Scopolamine Found in Child Covid Vaccines

By Adina Kutnicki

A vial of the new children’s dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson are all testing Omicron-specific versions of their vaccines

NO adult who is capable of thinking on their own hasn’t realized that something is dangerously amiss with the covid vax — never mind all the media-gov’t-pharma mouthpieces who protest otherwise. Still, some are sounding the alarms.

NOT only that, even the inventor of mRNA is shouting its dangers from the rooftops,

and being threatened in the process for said warnings!

SO, is it at all surprising to learn,

NOW, onto the evil linkages between the previously reported White Hat raid of Moderna’s warehouse, plus tainted covid vials (shipped for the kiddies) laced with scopolamine!

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 21, 2022

The U.S. military has found the drug scopolamine in Covid-19 vaccines destined to reach the arms of children, sources in Gen. David H. Berger’s office told Real Raw News.

Scopolamine is known by several names, most notably hyoscine, burandanga, “Devil’s Breath,” and “the Zombie Drug.” Derived from nightshade plants, it gained notoriety in Columbia where the criminal element uses it to drug naïve, careless tourists. On the internet stories abound of bar-hopping tourists chatting up local ladies, passing out, and waking up 3 days later—only to find they were robbed, and their bank accounts drained. Some never regain consciousness.

The drug, soluble, odorless, and tasteless, is said to deprive a person of free-will—zombify them. So potent is the effect that scopolamine victims have aided their attackers before falling unconscious. They willingly surrender their wallets, credit cards and pin codes, and have even helped assailants empty their apartments or hotel rooms of valuable items.

The drug’s potency didn’t escape the attention of American intelligence agencies: the CIA reportedly adds scopolamine to various “truth serum” formulations.

It’s incomprehensibly frightening to believe pharmaceutical manufacturers would include this mixture in vaccines tailored for especially young children, but the military claims it’s true.

After the FDA gifted Pfizer and Moderna permission to inject kids, and mass vaccination sites for children began springing up in liberal strongholds, the U.S. military started surreptitiously infiltrating these locations to collect vials for chemical analysis. But it wasn’t looking for scopolamine. In May, Real Raw News reported that White Hats found and destroyed a Moderna warehouse; vaccine ampules obtained from the warehouse had pesticides.

“Big Pharma has hundreds of warehouses discretely hidden across the country. Finding them all was impossible. When we found pyrethroids in vials at the one spot, we knew it wasn’t an isolated incident. They wanted to poison children. Now it’s obvious the plot is deeper. I can’t say how exactly we got the tainted vaccines—we found them in New York and California.”

He said White Hats had confiscated a dozen Moderna vials at a mass child vaccination site in Massapequa, New York, and more from a similar spot in San Bernadino, California. The vials were shipped to White Hat allies at U.S. Army Medical Research. Fifty percent had appreciable amounts of scopolamine.

In San Bernadino, 25% of vaccines held significant quantities of the drug.

“This is horrible information,” our source said. “We really have no way of knowing how many kids have been injected with this shit.”

The White Hats, he said, fear that scopolamine, when given to young, impressionable, malleable kids, will either outright kill them or coerce them into obeying orders.

“We’re not talking here of infants, right. But if a five-year-old is dosed and told by a pedophile to take of his or her clothes—you get the picture? It’s possible thousands or tens or hundreds of thousands of kids may have been hit with this stuff. We don’t yet know the scope,” our source said.

Israel’s National Security Council is now tasked with gender equality?

By Adina Kutnicki

Surveillance of security camera footage illustative)

(Surveillance of security camera footage illustrative)

TIME and again, this American-Israeli investigative journalist continues to assert: Israel’s left, approximately, 10% of the population, ape-like, mirror their U.S. (western) counterparts. With the same shrill megaphones glued to their hands, they maintain near total control over the media, academia, judiciary, cultural forums, and, yes, top military appointments! Indeed, there is no point in putting lipstick on this dangerous pig: Leftist insanity knows no bounds and is highly contagious. Cult-like.

FOR instance, out of countless analyses

ALAS, as night follows day, guess what? In the same manner in which the Biden regime, a/k/a Obama 3.0 — in tandem with associated leftist mouthpieces — fixate over so-called gender equality, etc., etc.,

similarly, Israel’s poohbahs are mired in the same idée fixe, that is, which leads to a mental loop and highly confused mind-set. Frighteningly so.

ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS | By Arnon Itiel | July 21, 2022

My conservative soul is a little tired of government clerks who wake up in the morning on a mission to fix the world.

(JNS) Israel’s National Security Council recently concluded a two-year study on gender equality, according to journalist Tal Schneider. Among other things, the committee in charge recommended legislation to ensure that at least one-third of NSC forums are reserved for women.

I am a passionate supporter of equality, but this recommendation gave me some pause. Something didn’t add up, so I shifted my focus to the exact definition of the NSC’s purpose.

According to my research, the NSC is a professional security tool at the government’s disposal, whose purpose is to spearhead informed decision-making processes on matters of national security. Based on these parameters, one would expect the nation’s security to be the top priority for NSC members, and that the entire focus of their work would be to serve the country’s defensive and offensive security needs.

It is unclear how setting a minimum quota for female representation serves this goal, and I must confess that even upon concluding this column, I still don’t have an answer. As a matter of fact, according to my logic, it is actually detrimental to our personal security.

Let’s say the NSC has to hire a new member tomorrow and let’s assume two people, a man and a woman, are vying for that seat. If the committee’s recommendations are indeed made into law, then even if the man is deemed more suitable for the position, she would still be the one who gets the job. The significance is this: Someone less qualified will be hired by the NSC over someone more qualified.

This is a value-based decision that necessarily prioritizes gender equality over national security. In the aforementioned scenario, one cannot interpret the decision to hire the woman over the man in any other way, as the proposed law strictly prioritizes gender over professional acumen.

Who delegated the authority to make such a decision to the members of the NSC? It certainly wasn’t me. It certainly wasn’t Israeli taxpayers, who pay the members of the NSC their salaries and put faith in them to provide personal security. A value-based decision such as this, which pits one value against another, can only be made by the public. It is not the NSC’s job to concern itself with Israel’s moral integrity—certainly not at the expense of its physical security.

Generally speaking, my conservative soul is a little tired of government clerks who wake up in the morning and in addition to their regular jobs, take it upon themselves to fix the world.

Good intentions aside, bitter experience tells us that mixing these two things is very rarely successful, and in most cases, everyone and everything ends up mucked up: the actual job the clerk is supposed to be doing; the world, which shockingly refuses to be fixed; and mainly the citizens concerned, who ask themselves how these people, who are responsible for our lives, are spending their time on the clock.

I pray that in my lifetime I’ll hear Israel Defense Forces chiefs of staff talk about nothing but how to win wars, police chiefs who only care about keeping the peace and NSC members who wake up in the morning and do their jobs, instead of wasting their time on pet projects that have nothing to do with their purview.

Learning from the Lanner case

There must be zero tolerance in the Orthodox community for perpetrators, while any rumor must be checked discreetly-but thoroughly. Israel National News, By Adina Kutnicki

ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS | By Adina Kutnicki | July 20, 2022

Disgraced rabbi Baruch Lanner, who was convicted of sexually assaulting students, in an undated photograph. (LinkedIn)

While the powers-that-be in Jerusalem pondered granting citizenship to Baruch Lanner under the Law of Return – incontestably, a convicted serial pedophile – the many lives destroyed by Lanner watched, in both horror and disgust, at this immoral turn of events. Hey, guys, what was there ever to cogitate over? Thankfully, the decision came down: DENIED!

The crimes perpetrated by Baruch Lanner render multiple levels of egregiousness – most prominently, he could have been halted in his tracks decades before he was finally arrested. This is the case due to years and years of communal complaints against him throughout New Jersey. Indeed, too many within Orthodox leadership allowed him, because of their naive belief that it was all unfounded rumors, to continue to scope and sniff out his prey.

As a sought-after educator, Rabbi, as well as the charismatic Director of the Orthodox NCSY (National Council of Synagogue Youth) youth group, his access to children was accepted. Resultant, Lanner’s victims piled up, and countless lives were severely damaged, some ruined.

And as is tragically the case sometimes in the Orthodox Jewish community, those who should have been or were “in the know” within top positions (you know who you are!) continuously circle the communal wagons, hoping to avoid scandal.

But before this particularly awful saga progresses any further within this report, the reader may recall a mirror image theme, as per the aforementioned circling – “The Hidden Crime of Pedophilia” (Israel National News, Jan.26, 2020) – The crime of pedophilia in the Orthodox community does exist, perhaps less than in every other community, but even one instance is a blight; a mark of Cain; a wall of shame, worse if coupled with deafening silence.

In rooting out the perpetrators of this evil, whereas the Jewish community is, rightfully, well known for its brain power, when it comes to common sense on this issue – not so much.

Consider:

Back in 2002, Lanner was convicted of sexual abuse and received a 7-year prison sentence. He served less than 6 years and was paroled in 2008. (On the other hand, his victims are serving a life sentence of anguish and psychic/physical after-shocks.)

However, in 2013, despite Lanner’s conviction as a sexual abuser (to be exact, five years after his release from prison), a modern Orthodox community’s spiritual leader saw fit to host him, to place him front and center at a Purim meal he presided over, as well as to welcome him with open arms into a Teaneck congregation.

(It was during that very same time frame that Yeshiva University was embroiled in a $380 million lawsuit, stemming from alleged sexual abuse charges at MTA, in the 1980’s. As reported at Israel National News, when instances (of pedophilia) were exposed in Yeshiva University’s past, it was a personal blow. My father – of blessed memory – worked tirelessly at Yeshiva University for 45 years, as a Rabbi in its main Administrative Center in Washington Heights, Manhattan. In fact, he taught at its esteemed school for Rabbinical Studies, REITS, when he first arrived in New York from war-torn Europe. YU’s essence, that is, its raison d’être, is to graduate students who will impart values aligned with, and in keeping to, actions that are viewed as a “light unto the nations.” Effectively, it couldn’t possibly be realized unless those cases were exposed.)

….

Naturally, when the residents of Teaneck’s Jewish lay community realized that a convicted pedophile was not only in their community but given a place of honor, the outcry reverberated throughout Teaneck and nearby Fair Lawn’s Orthodox community, as well as throughout many similar enclaves in New Jersey.

Speaking of Teaneck (and Fair Lawn, its “sister” community in Bergen County, northern New Jersey), there is more here than meets the eye.

As a highly active parent member (during the 1990’s, until 2002, the year of Lanner’s conviction) of Yavneh Academy and Frisch High School (the premiere Orthodox day/high school in the region located in Paramus, a nearby community), this writer was privy to information re Lanner, well before the local Jewish dailies caught wind. This was so because both schools were main feeder addresses for student involvement in NCSY, Bergen County, Lanner’s hunting ground.

On multiple occasions in the mid-1990’s, the info that was (privately) shared was horrific, but since each instance was told in confidence, and the traumatized parents had very deep concerns about any scandal attaching itself to their family names, it was not an option to “go it alone.” Instead, this writer convinced the distraught parties to report everything to the police, and even gave them access to her brother, an NYPD Detective, to guide them along the way. He interfaced with the proper New Jersey policing agency on their behalf, and ensured that their family names were never released to the media. He became their “watch-dog and guide-dog.”

While this was going on, it came to these ears that an “honorarium” was in the works for Lanner, and under the auspices of unknowing Yavneh Academy, which asserted that since charges had not been filed against him, they were convinced that the rumor-mill had just gone off the rails. With much persistence and proofs, they became “convinced” to review their list of candidates for the yearly honor, and to find someone truly worthy of said distinction.

The communal leadership should always hold themselves to the highest standards, including,

NO honorariums, NO kavod, NO nothing – other than complete disdain for the pedophiles in their midst!

TRUMP: “THEY GOT HER!”

By Adina Kutnicki

ONE of the signature hallmarks of the Deep State is the deployment of so-called “mysterious” deaths. Their hit list is endless.

AS a foretaste, just peer within.

NOW that that is out of the way, wouldn’t the mother of his three golden children be a perfect target, that is, to seek revenge on the nemesis of all nemeses?? Moreover, as a senior citizen, the public would find it easy to swallow that she just reached the end of her natural lifespan — even those who held her in high esteem would never suspect a thing. Indeed, an easier mark than the rest of the clan, too. After all, the intended target of their message is not the public, rather, The Donald!

AS such, by examining the below through the eyes of a well-honed investigative journalist, well, it seems more plausible than not that this was a hit! In other words, a classic, giveaway emerges when the so-called reporting begins with the authoritative voice of the ME, the Medical Examiner — and without even examining the body!! Officialdom, reported as if derived as the truth delivered from atop the Sermon Mount! Yes, in endless politically sensitive “mysterious” deaths, this is precisely the same song and dance.

JUDGE for yourselves.

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 17, 2022

President Donald J. Trump has avoided public mention of foul play regarding the death of his ex-wife, Ivanna, but Mar-a-Lago sources told Real Raw News on Saturday that he called the circumstances surrounding Ivanna’s untimely demise “highly suspicious,” “peculiar,” and “not right.”

On Wednesday Ivanna was found unresponsive at the bottom of a staircase in her New York City condominium. According to NYC police reports, maintenance entered Ivanna’s home after cleaning staff rang her doorbell but received no response. Ivanna had apparently fallen, or was pushed, down the stairs, which, having lived in the townhouse for nearly 30 years, she had successfully navigated thousands if not millions of times.

Oddly, Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jason Graham of the NYC Medical Examiner’s Office first labeled Ivana’s death a “coronary event,” even as her lifeless corpse lie in a “puddle of spilled coffee” at the foot of the stairs. In other words, the ME’s office had apparently decided on a cause of death without examining the body, let alone perform an autopsy.

A day later, however, the ME amended her death certificate, now attributing her demise to blunt force trauma to the torso. Her torso was covered in deep contusions, the result of an “accidental fall,” Dr. Graham wrote, and emphasized for no apparent reason that he found no signs of foul play.

The Trump family, however, isn’t buying either explanation—the fall or the heart attack, sources told RRN.

Upon hearing of the tragedy, Ivanka Trump, Ivanna and Donald’s daughter, who also lives in NYC near her mother’s townhouse, dashed to the New York City mortuary and positively identified the body.

“She later told her father [Donald Trump] something wasn’t right. Ivanna was black and blue from waist to neck, but had no injuries, no sign of bruising, on her head or legs. Something seemed amiss. If you tumble down a steep staircase, your head’s gonna strike somewhere, right? The steps or the landing,” a Mar-a-Lago source said.

President Trump, he added, disbelieved the ME’s report, and told his inner circle that the Deep State might have had Ivanna murdered and arranged for it to look like an accident.

“Maybe they got her!” Trump reportedly said.

Asked why, if true, the Deep State targeted Ivanna instead of Trump’s more immediate family—Melania, Eric, Don Jr., Barron, or Ivanka—our source said, “because they have extensive White Hat protection. Ivanna did not. Trump and Ivanna don’t really speak, and what Trump knows of Ivanna comes by way of his kids. That’s how he knew the heart attack explanation was bullshit. Ivanna had a physical a week earlier, including an EKG, and there was nothing wrong with her heart.”

Trump, he said in closing, has opened a private inquest to learn the truth.

“The Deep State could be sending a message—if we can’t get you, we’ll get who we can. As you know, they’re spending a lot of time and money trying to rattle Trump to keep him from entering [the 2024 presidential race],” he said.

Deep State ATTACKS Nuclear Disassembly Plant

By Adina Kutnicki

FROM the nanosecond that the illegitimate Biden regime, a/k/a Obama 3.0, stole the reins in the 2020 electoral heist, the White Hats activated what was considered the highest of highest priority tasks, that is, ensuring that the deep state never grabs ahold of the Nuclear Command Codes, a/k/a the Nuclear Football.

IN preparation thereof, the following was reported,

ALAS, as anticipated, the traitorous forces of the “Dark Lord” struck,

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 15, 2022

The Deep State last week launched a disorganized assault on a nuclear disassembly plant in the Texas panhandle but was repelled by the White Hats who’ve been guarding the facility since the U.S. military took provisional control of the strategic nuclear arsenal after the stolen 2020 presidential election, sources in Gen. David H. Berger’s Office told Real Raw News.

The failed incursion took place at Pantex, a mammoth complex on 16,000 acres of land close to Amarillo. Prior to January 2021, the plant was managed and operated for the United States Department of Energy by Consolidated Nuclear Security and Sandia National Laboratories, all of which the U.S. military ejected when Biden was unlawfully sworn into office. By then, the rogue regime already faced in intractable quandary: the military had seized of ICBM and SLBM nuclear launch codes, as well as the country’s strategic bomber force. This meant if Biden’s handlers wanted nuclear war, or a nuclear False Flag on American soil, they’d have to pilfer atomic components elsewhere.

Pantex is the only remaining nuclear decommissioning plant in the United States, and it purportedly still houses dozens of intact, Cold War-era warheads and fissionable material. It had impressive security even before White Hats took control: motion sensors and surveillance cameras sprinkle the acreage, and the airspace above was designated a no-fly zone. A barbwire, electrified fence encircled the structures, the most sensitive of which required a key card and thumbprint and retinal scans for entry.

Sources told Real Raw News that White Hats had bolstered Pantex’s defenses, but gave no specifics.

In the predawn hours on July 9, perimeter guards spotted a throng of armed intruders marching toward the fence line. Dressed in black and carrying tactical gear, the invaders inched forward but employed no discernable tactics. Numbering approximately 100, they marched in formation, conspicuously, 10 abreast and 10 deep, like Civil War soldiers marching blindly into canon fire.

By then, White Hats—a U.S. Army Ranger and Delta Force detachment—had boarded armored Hummers and were speeding to the point of incursion. Guided by the perimeter guards, who had concealed themselves, the detachment approached to within 300 meters of the enemy and dismounted the vehicles, using them for cover. They painted their foes in a swath of light—headlights and strobes mounted atop the Hummers.

Then came a voice on a bullhorn: “Surrender the facility or we’ll take it by force.”

Meanwhile, word of the raid had reached Marine Corps General David H. Berger at Camp Pendleton. Sources told Real Raw News that the Deep State’s archaic advance stirred his suspicion—he suspected a diversion. He ordered additional patrols to fan out across Pantex’s sprawling property, in case the Deep State was trying to breech the fence at a different location.

As patrols mobilized, a firefight erupted between the Ranger-Delta detachment and the 100-man-strong Deep State attackers. Our sources said it’s unclear who fired first, but the numerically inferior but better trained White Hats had a decisive advantage. They had cover and concealment, whereas the Deep State was exposed.

Rounds sizzled through the air, ricocheting off the armored hummers but striking no flesh. White Hats let loose a hailstorm of gunfire, and the Deep State’s first and second ranks fell almost immediately; 20 men wounded or killed in seconds. The onslaught overwhelmed them, and they then began a tactical retrograde, laying down suppressive fire as they retreated to the direction from whence they came.

White Hats pressed the attack, striking at least 12 more Deep State goons before the unit commander ordered them to cease fire.

It’s unclear whether the unit commander spoke directly to Gen. Berger or his adjuncts, but when he requested permission to pursue and eliminate the enemy, he was told to maintain a defensive posture but not give pursuit.

That ended the Pantex assault. White Hats found no evidence of other incursions.

“We know it was the Deep State. We’ve taken survivors. Some had credentials—FEMA, ATF, all Deep State agencies. We can’t explain why they attacked the way they did—it makes no sense. Maybe they were ordered to test our defenses, sacrifice themselves if needed. I don’t know the results of prisoner interrogations,” our source said.

In closing, he said patriots should not accept a Deep State takeover of the United States as an ineluctable fate. “We’re working very hard to prevent that.”

Denis McDonough Spills the Beans, Names Names!

By Adina Kutnicki

WELL, well. As is said, it takes all kinds. Some will stick to the deep state party line, that is, until they take their last dying gasp. And others will do so with the belligerence associated with stone-cold killers. Yes, it takes all kinds.

BUT none are more skilled at (eventually) ferreting out the truth, as well as catching their prey, than JAG Special Force operators. Whatever it takes.

IN this regard, amidst the below “confessionals”, this much is for sure (so much so, this investigative journalist stakes her reputation on it): He is definitely a pedo and is proud of it! Indeed, pedo crimes are part and parcel of the deep state, in toto. Birds of a feather. Peer within,

ROCK & roll.

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 14, 2022

The now incarcerated Secretary of Veteran Affairs, Denis McDonough, may be an enigma. Or he could be a Deep State disinformation specialist, a red herring feeding false information to the JAG investigators who began interrogating him when he arrived at Guantanamo Bay Tuesday morning.

It’s extremely unusual for Deep Staters to confess to anything or show remorse for the crimes of which they have been accused. They typically adhere to what seems a codified trope: “I was just following orders.”

But McDonough, who was arrested on charges of treason in Vegas Sunday morning, has been flapping his gums, confessing not only to allegations leveled by the military but also to crimes White Hats had no knowledge of.

First, McDonough on Tuesday admitted he had given $63bn of the VA’s $300bn annual budget to “assets” in Petro Poroshenko’s government. He said, to the best of his knowledge, the payouts were supposed to reach Ukrainian hospitals in Kyiv, Odessa, and the Donbass region that were providing critical care to soldiers wounded in Ukraine’s fight with Russia. He further admitted he had no way of knowing if any of the $63m actually reached hospitals.

“I know I stole money from servicemen and veterans, but I genuinely believe it was for a worthy cause,” McDonough reportedly told investigators. “And, yes, I knew it’d eventually trace back to me. I happily sacrifice myself in the name of providing care for freedom fighters fighting against Vladimir Putin’s oppression.”

He didn’t stop there. He went on to name names, saying that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had instructed him to initiate, and obfuscate, the transfer of funds. He did not, however, blame them, saying he would have acted unilaterally if he could have. When investigators demanded proof of Blinken and Austin’s involvement, McDonough said, “They covered their bases. I accept full responsibility.”

Second, McDonough eagerly confessed to more crimes. He said he had a predilection for young children. Had Special Forces found him a night earlier, he said, they would have found in the company of a 15-year-old girl named Anna, whom he had paid $2500 to spend the night with him. Straight-faced, he said he fed her alcohol and Oxycontin, “banged her,” and gave her enough cash to ensure her silence.

“Yeah, I did it. Don’t say you wouldn’t. We’re men, aren’t we?” McDonough told the investigators, who were both male.

Moreover, McDonough said his military tribunal, scheduled for 22 July, would be a waste of time and money.

“I’m guilty. Do with me what you will,” he said.

JAG sources told Real Raw News that Vice Adm. Darse E. Crandall was made aware of McDonough’s confession and is considering his options. Also, JAG is working on corroborating McDonough’s claim that Blinken and Austin orchestrated the theft of VA funds.

Special Forces Arrest Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough

By Adina Kutnicki

obamamcdonough.banner.AP.jpg.jpg

[Alongside his mentor, the “Dark Lord”, follows McDonough!]

ONLY those who are D.C. political fixtures (and others who follow its ins and outs, a/k/a political junkies) recognize the name of Denis McDonough. More likely, regular folks ask: Who the hell is this character? A fair question.

IN answer to the above, he has been hiding in plain sight. Yes, naturally, he was trained under the tutelage and coat-tails of HUSSEIN Obama and never went away. Of course, he resurfaced under the crooked Biden regime, a/k/a Obama 3.0.

ALAS, one would be hard-pressed to disentangle McDonough from a multitude of treasonous crimes. Inexorably, this traitorous reality is the signature hallmark of the Democrat Mafia and their RINO water-carriers.

MOST significantly, by acting akin to a Mafia-like bag-man for numerous anti-American dictators, he managed to siphon off billions of dollars from the Veterans Administration that was ear-marked for American vets and their families!!  And, as is always the case, he was richly renumerated for his traitorous dealings.

ONCE again, here’s to the (White Hat) Special Forces for never giving up and staying on his tail. Kudos!

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 13, 2022

U.S. Special Forces on Sunday scored another victory against the Deep State, this time apprehending the criminal Biden regime’s secretary of veteran affairs, Denis McDonough, as part of a broad operation aimed at ridding the nation of despots whose treasonous crimes weakened our nation and endangered the lives of American patriots.

At 3:00 a.m. Sunday, Special Forces arrested McDonough at a Las Vegas hotel—the culmination of an investigation into allegations of treason, embezzlement, theft, and dereliction of duty, a source in General David H. Berger’s office told Real Raw News.

Denis McDonough—his was a name seldom heard until recently. Yet his foray into politics began in 1996, when he worked as an aide for the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Afterward, he held several inconsequential positions until Hussein Obama appointed him deputy national security advisor in 2010. Three years later, Obama promoted him to White House Chief of Staff. In 2017 he receded to the shadows, returned to private life, and resurfaced as the secretary of veteran affairs following the stolen 2020 presidential election.

In May 2022, the Office of Military Commissions received an unsubstantiated tip claiming that McDonough had illicitly repurposed $50bn of the VA’s $300bn annual budget to provide medical care to Ukrainians who had been wounded in that nation’s conflict with Russia. The OMC and its JAG partners, our source said, at once began an investigation to either prove or disprove the shocking claim. If true, it meant that wounded American soldiers who had sacrificed their freedoms to protect ours would not receive proper medical care. Nor would their families—men, women, and children whose health hinges on the government’s promise to give medical coverage to dependents of servicemembers.

On 22 May, Commander Greg Braverman, a White Hat and Judge with the Military Commissions Trial Judiciary, asked the Department of Veteran affairs for an aggregated list of all monies the VA had paid out between February 2022-May 2022.

“The request was summarily denied,” our source said. “This isn’t especially unusual because such information is well outside our jurisdictional scope, but McDonough’s office responded to the request with fear bordering on paranoia. We were told ‘you’re not entitled to this,’ ‘why do you need this information,’ ‘request denied,’ and so forth. The fearfulness naturally piqued our interest.”

Undeterred, White Hats contacted allies at U.S. Army Cyber Command, Fort Gordon, asking them to penetrate both the Department of Veteran Affairs and McDonough’s digital footprints. Although successful, Command Sgt. Maj. Jack Nichols of ARCYBER told the OMC that the Department of Veteran Affairs had strengthened its cybersecurity to levels used by the CIA and other clandestine alphabet agencies.

Cyber Command’s findings, our source said, were astonishing.

On March 17, 2022, McDonough surreptitiously transferred $15bn to Constellis Holdings, an offshoot of the infamous mercenary organization once known as Blackwater, which under the leadership of Eric Prince, and under a Department of Homeland Security contract in 2005, murdered dozens of homeless persons and displaced citizens trying to escape the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina.

Shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin started his Special Military Operation to rid Ukraine of pedophiles and Western biolabs, Constellis Holdings’ VP Jake Abernathy—an alias—dispatched 500 contractors to Ukraine to defend that country’s sovereignty. Records showed McDonough promised Constellis $1bn if it could deliver the remaining $14bn to Ukrainian General Petro Myroslavovych Lebid, a servant of Petro Poroshenko. Why a random general needed $14bn is still unclear, but Lebid did receive those funds before being killed by Russian forces a week later.

Moreover, McDonough on 4 June wired $35bn to the “Fifth Floor” in Kyiv. The “Fifth Floor” is a pseudonym for the SBU, or Security Service of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko’s personal police force. Veteran Affairs documents obtained by the OMC said money sent to the SBU would be distributed to hospitals caring for grievously injured Ukrainian soldiers.

“We had no way to figure out how that money was spent. It could have gone toward injured soldiers, or it could have funded Poroshenko’s pedophile operation. Didn’t matter. We confirmed that $52bn, and possibly much more, was sent abroad in direct violation of the Veteran Affairs Act. This was enough to draft an arrest warrant, and to apprehend McDonough on charges of treason,” our source said.

But McDonough wasn’t easily found.

On 12 June JAG investigators laid in wait at the Department of Veteran Affairs Headquarters in Washington, D.C., hoping to nab McDonough at a VA party celebrating his role in repatriating soldiers wounded in Afghanistan. McDonough had not attended the festival held in his (dis)honor. A week later, our source said, the OMC and JAG got confirmation that McDonough planned to attend a veterans with disabilities conference in McClean, Virginia. This time, Special Forces took charge and hoped to grab McDonough just before the event. Once again, however, McDonough missed his scheduled appearance, with his office later issuing a dubious public statement saying he was absent because he wasn’t feeling well, was getting tested for Covid, and was resting at home.

But finding McDonough at home proved equally difficult, for he owned several properties across four states, and although Special Forces put a surveillance team on each residence for two weeks, they could not locate McDonough.

“The guy was a ghost. Over those weeks he not once appeared at his homes, and we considered the real possibility he’d been tipped off and fled—maybe even left the country. We didn’t interview his family because that would’ve raised red flags, and if he wasn’t aware of us then, his family definitely would’ve let him know. It genuinely seemed he poofed out of existence,” our source said.

As Special Forces hunted down clues to McDonough’s whereabouts, ARCYBER accessed his personal banking accounts and began monitoring his transactions in real time. Curiously, McDonough had not used a credit or debit card since early June, buttressing JAG’s belief he had caught wind of their operation to arrest him.

But on Saturday, July 9, ARCYBER got a hit; someone using McDonough’s Mastercard had bought fuel at a gas station in Las Vegas. Two Special Forces teams deployed to Vegas, our source said, arriving there that evening. They visited the gas station and coaxed from the manager security footage that, sure enough, showed a grainy image of McDonough standing at the counter. Assuming he was still in town, Special Forces split in two groups, one patrolling the strip while the other discretely searched hotels and casinos.

It took them only an hour to find him. If McDonough were hiding, he was hiding in plain sight.

A flamboyant McDonough sat at a blackjack table at Caesars Palace, playing (and losing) purple chips, each worth $500, as if they were pennies. Losing didn’t seem to phase him. Cheerful, and apparently drunk, McDonough slurred his words while conversing with both the dealer and the waitress who delivered fresh drinks every 15 minutes.

Special Forces, our source said, decided to grab him that night, while he was inebriated and hungover.

“They overheard McDonough ask the waitress to come to his room, confirming he was staying at Caesars Palace. She brushed him off. At like 3:00 a.m., this was Sunday morning, two operatives defeated the security on the room door, entered the room, and found him sprawled on the bed, still dressed in a tux, snoring loudly. They were in and out in 10 minutes. I can’t discuss some details, like how they disabled certain security cameras,” our source said.

According to him, McDonough said he knew they’d be coming for him.

“I wanted to go down in style,” McDonough purportedly said.

It turned out that McDonough had on 12 June booked a room at Caesars Palace for a whole month, albeit under an alias. At the time of his arrest, McDonough had a forged driver’s license and credit cards in the name of James Lewis. He also had $6m in cash.

Asked why McDonough might have used his legitimate credit card to purchase gas, our source said, “I don’t know. Maybe he was just so drunk he forgot, or maybe he really wanted to get caught. He hasn’t said, so it’s anyone’s guess.”

McDonough is scheduled to face a military tribunal on July 22.

World-Reknowned MIT Cancer Researcher Falls Prey To False Charges From ME-TOO Banshee – The Jilted Lover. The Braying Mob, Too!

By Adina Kutnicki

COUNTLESS lives have been destroyed by jilted lovers. Believe it or not. Like it or not. None more so than males in a consensual [emphasis placed] sexual relationship with an obsessed female lover. The list of (unsuspecting) victims is so long it is impossible to cite. Mind you, even the smartest men are blindsided by rage-filled women — in the narcissistic belief that no one should dare to leave them. No one.

BUT suffice it to assert,

….The reality is that false accusations happenAnd we need to talk about them.

Famed lawyer Alan Dershowitz is no stranger to controversy. In fact, he often invites it with open arms. But being accused of rape and being lumped in with Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein is a rare type of controversy that he finds himself uncomfortable with: “I welcome controversy about my ideas. I love having debates and controversy about my ideas. But having controversy about whether or not I’m a sex offender? That’s not what I bargained for in my life.”

Dershowitz recounts his side of the story in the book Guilt By Accusation: The Challenge of Proving Innocence in the Age of #metoo. His case is particularly interesting because it started before the #metoo movement and continues today. When asked if he noticed a difference between perception before and after, he said it was very noticeable. “There’s no question. Before the #metoo movement, I had won. It had gone away. I had the submission, I had the tapes, the recording, the emails, I had a full investigation by the former head of the FBI who said it was false, I had a judge who struck it [down], the lawyers had withdrawn it…it was over! It was completely over. And then the #metoo movement came, and suddenly it was resurrected.” ….

BACK to the focus of this report, David Sabatini — a world-renowned cancer researcher, tragically, ensnared by Kristin Knouse; a she-devil colleague; a vengeful lover, and, most significantly, hell-bent on punishing the object of her obsession!

[Pic at MIT … The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has announced that Whitehead Institute Member David M. Sabatini is co-recipient of the 2020 Sjöberg Prize, which promotes scientific research on cancer, health, and the environment. Sabatini, who is also a professor of biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, is being recognized for discovering the mTOR protein and its role in controlling cell metabolism and growth.]

COMMON SENSE | By Suzy Weiss | May 2022

In 2018, David Sabatini was a world-renowned molecular biologist. He was a tenured professor at MIT. He ran a major lab at the Whitehead Institute, overseeing a team of 39 researchers, postdocs and technicians. Their job was to disentangle the mystery of the mTOR signaling pathway, a protein Sabatini had discovered while still in medical school, at Johns Hopkins. The mTOR signaling pathway plays a critical role in tumor development. Figuring out how it works would go a long way toward saving countless lives.

This was why Sabatini was predicted to win the Nobel Prize. It was how he reeled in between three and four million dollars every year for his lab from the National Institutes of Health, the Pentagon and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, among others. It is why his colleagues have described him to me with words like “genius,” “one of the best scientists alive,” and “a pillar.”

“It’s like working for Steve Jobs. He can be brutal,” said one scientist. “But why would you want to work for anyone else?”

Today, Sabatini is unemployed and unemployable. No one wants to be associated with him. Those who do risk losing their jobs, publishing opportunities, friends, visas, and huge federal grants. “What wormhole did my life take, to billionaires and protests and being called a sexual predator? What quirk in the universe allowed this to happen?” Sabatini asked me.

The entrance to the wormhole can be found in Rockville, Maryland, at a hotel that Sabatini was staying at while attending a conference about lysosomes and cancer sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. There, on the night of April 18, 2018, after an evening of whiskey tasting—Sabatini is a whiskey aficionado—he and Kristin Knouse had sex. Knouse was an incoming cancer researcher at the Whitehead, where she would also head her own lab; hers focused on liver regeneration. He was 50. She was 29. He had split with his wife, and was in the process of getting a divorce.

The next month they met up at Knouse’s condo near Boston Common where they discussed a few ground rules for their tryst. They agreed they could see other people. Knouse, Sabatini remembers, had ongoing flings with men who she referred to with nicknames like “anesthesiologist fuck buddy,” “finance bro,” and “physics professor,” and she wanted to keep it that way. Also, they wouldn’t tell anyone. Why complicate things at work? It was all supposed to be fun.

But then, in August 2018, the Whitehead adopted a new Consensual Sexual and Romantic Relationships Policy, which stated that lab heads couldn’t have a “consensual or sexual relationship” with any coworkers. “Not going to H.R. right then was my critical mistake,” Sabatini told me.

At the time, Sabatini didn’t think it mattered much. Things were fizzling. He still cared for Knouse, and they were still close—he had a cancer scare in late 2018, and when he found out he wasn’t dying, she was one of the few people he texted. But he was getting involved with another woman, a microbiologist in Germany.

Knouse didn’t want to let go. In January 2020 she texted, in part: “I get anxious when I don’t hear back from you and then I see you post stuff on Twitter and it provides an admittedly small and silly but still another bit of evidence to this growing feeling that you don’t care about me in the way that I care about you.” He wrote back: “I am sorry but you are being crazy.” In another text, Knouse admitted feeling “stung.” She added: “I think it’s worth thinking about whether you want someone who matches your passion, intellect, and ambition.” He wrote back: “I have to explore this.” (Knouse declined to talk with me. This account is based on interviews with Sabatini, more than a dozen colleagues of both Sabatini and Knouse, legal filings, text messages, emails, and documents obtained exclusively by Common Sense.)

For a few months, Knouse broke off communication with him. Then Covid hit. In April 2020, she reached out via text. She made a dorky joke about the pandemic and enemas. They griped about Covid safety protocols. She invited him and his son to her family’s beach house on Cape Cod for some “low density private beach and pool action.” She bought a new red Audi and sent him a picture of it. Her grandmother died, and he told her he was sorry for her loss, and they went back and forth about her traveling to Pennsylvania for the funeral. “A big hug,” he texted her, “and a safe travels!”

Then, in late summer or early fall—when the whole country was gripped by protests and riots, and everyone was apologizing and reckoning—something changed.

In October 2020, Knouse texted her friends that she was “unpack[ing] a ton of suppressed abuse and trauma from an obvious local source”—an apparent reference to Sabatini. Knouse’s fellowship at the Whitehead was ending, and she didn’t apply for any faculty jobs there. When the new director, Ruth Lehmann, called Knouse to ask why, Knouse complained for the first time of being “harassed.”

In November, Knouse warned her friend—an incoming Whitehead fellow—to “squeeze out as much advice as possible before your mentor is Weinstein’ed out of science.”

In December, at Lehmann’s behest, the consulting firm Jones Diversity sent the Whitehead employees a survey “based in part on Dr. Knouse’s false complaint about Dr. Sabatini,” according to a complaint later brought by Sabatini. All participants were anonymous. Five or so of the nearly 40 employees in Sabatini’s lab took part.

The next month, two former Sabatini lab members lodged complaints to H.R.—the first complaints against him in his 24-year tenure—about “bro culture” in the lab.

This prompted the Whitehead to hire the law firm Hinckley, Allen & Snyder to conduct an investigation on “gender bias and/or inequities and a retaliatory leadership in the Sabatini lab.” The Whitehead never told Sabatini what he was accused of. Former lab members told me their co-workers were sobbing when they came out of meetings with the lawyers, saying that the lawyers had put words in their mouths. “They had a very strong agenda,” one of them told me.

In retrospect, it was already over for this once-in-a-generation scientist.

On January 19, 2020, Knouse texted Sabatini: “The only certainty in your life, now and forever, is that you love your son and your lab more than anything else. Be careful not to abandon them despite your current mental state. Take care.”

Sabatini with his lab colleagues at the Whitehead in 2019.

A little more than a year-and-a-half later, on August 13, 2021, the lawyers finished their 248-page report.

A few days after that, Sabatini was at home when he got the email with the Whitehead report attached to it. Soon after, an invitation for a short meeting with Lehmann appeared on his calendar. She had never bothered to meet one-on-one with the most famous person on her payroll, and he suspected what was up. He called his lawyers immediately, and they confirmed that he was about to be fired.

In the 24 hours after the report came out, Sabatini’s life fell apart. MIT put him on administrative leave. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute, another prestigious non-profit that funds biomedical research and was paying Sabatini’s salary, fired him. He resigned from the Whitehead, and eventually MIT, at the advice of his lawyers who thought it would help him secure his next job. (“I one hundred percent regret that,” Sabatini told me).

Soon, the biotech startups he’d helped found— Navitor Pharmaceuticals, KSQ and Raze Therapeutics—started severing their relationships with him. Sabatini was axed from professorships, fellowships, and professional societies. Awards and grants were pulled. His income disappeared.

On August 20, Lehmann officially cut ties with Sabatini in an email sent to the whole institute. That was leaked to the Boston Globe within minutes; the news was circulating on Twitter within hours.

“I lost everything. My whole life imploded,” Sabatini said. “I became a shell of what I was.”

Sabatini stopped sleeping at home so he didn’t have to hear the FedEx envelopes plopping down on his doormat—invariably another letter from another institution cutting ties with him. He toggled between his brother’s home—Bernardo Sabatini, a professor of neurobiology, runs his own lab at Harvard Medical School—and his ex-wife’s. He stopped eating and sleeping. He went on unemployment and dropped 35 pounds in three months. He cried a lot, and his hair was falling out. A friend of Sabatini told me he sent Sabatini articles about mTOR to keep him preoccupied, and sleeping pills to help him crash at night. Nothing worked.

Another friend, a fellow scientist, explained: “I love my science, but I also have other interests. David isn’t like that. Science is his one and only.”

So what exactly had those 248 pages said? What had David Sabatini been found guilty of that merited this kind of punishment? Chiefly, failing to disclose his consensual relationship with Knouse. On top of that, the report found that Sabatini, in his day-to-day administration of the lab, violated the Whitehead’s Anti-Harassment Policy, since his “behavior created a sexualized undercurrent in the lab.” Sabatini’s relationship with Knouse exacerbated things, given his “indirect influence” over her, which violated the Anti-Harassment Policy and ran afoul of the “spirit” if not the letter of another of the institute’s policies.

True, he didn’t supervise Knouse. He didn’t work directly with her. He never threatened her or proposed a quid pro quo. And he certainly didn’t have the power to fire her. But, according to the report, he had “experience, stature, and age” over her. Knouse’s apparent desire to continue their relationship only served to confirm his influence: “That she felt the need to act ‘fun’ to impress Sabatini underscores how Sabatini’s words and actions profoundly impacted her,” the lawyers wrote.

Nor did the lawyers care for the happy hours and whiskey tastings that Sabatini sometimes hosted in his office, which betrayed his “apparent ‘friendliness’ and general propensity to have ‘fun.’” (Knouse, in her counterclaim, says the events were “drunken,” and “conversations quite frequently veered to the sexual.”)

“While we have not found any evidence that Sabatini discriminates against or fails to support females in his lab, we find that Sabatini’s propensity to praise or gravitate toward those in the lab that mirror his desired personality traits, scientific success, or view of ‘science above all else,’ creates additional obstacles for female lab members,” the report concluded.

This was baffling to everyone I spoke to: Nine of Sabatini’s current and former lab employees, a current faculty member at the Whitehead, and half a dozen top doctors and scientists in Sabatini’s field. Most of them would not speak on the record for fear of being associated with Sabatini and derailing their own careers. “It’s impossible to be honest about this and preserve your own skin,” says a scientist who recently worked under Sabatini.

That trainee called the report’s depiction of the lab an “alternate reality,” and the characterization of Sabatini as lascivious and retaliatory “deeply insane.”

“They have the wrong guy,” a female scientist who knows Sabatini and Knouse told me. A female former trainee told me that the climate in Sabatini’s lab was “one of excellence.” She said that Sabatini could be demanding, but he was never demeaning or unfair. “I try to emulate him in my own lab,” another female former trainee said. A third female trainee said the lab could be informal, but it was hardly a locker room. “It just wasn’t in the air.“

I asked a former technician about the notorious whiskey tastings. “These weren’t keggers,” he said. “‘Bench scientists’ and ‘party’ don’t generally overlap.”

The allegations over the relationship and the ones about the lab’s culture served to reinforce each other; if Sabatini was so ill-advised as to hook up with a younger colleague, surely his bad judgment spilt over into his (extremely well-funded) lab. Making such a claim also appeared to be advantageous to the Whitehead.

For one, it would allow Lehmann to be seen as a no-nonsense leader with zero tolerance for the sexism in science that she saw as a challenge. It would also pacify Knouse, who wanted to see Sabatini fired publicly. “Part of me just wants to organize a protest outside of Whitehead and this would be over in a matter of hours not weeks,” wrote Knouse to a friend during the investigation.

Then, there’s the money.

Until recently, the NIH deterred institutions from firing or even investigating scientists who brought in a lot of NIH money, because that money usually followed the scientists—not the institutions. So for years, universities and other research organizations often turned a blind eye to their superstars’ bad behavior for fear of losing multi-million-dollar grants. To correct this, the NIH amended its policy in June 2020. Moving forward, if principal investigators are accused of “harassment, bullying, retaliation, or hostile working conditions” recipient institutions are obligated to alert the NIH, who would use the information to decide whether or not to reassign the grant. The NIH hoped to end the game of “pass the harasser.”

The Whitehead’s arrangement with NIH is especially lucrative: On top of all the grant money it brings in, the institute also gets a nearly 95 percent “facilities and administrative” or F&A fee, as insiders put it. (Usually, NIH pays organizations 25 to 50 percent.) Every $500,000 Sabatini reeled in was actually worth closer to $1 million to the Whitehead. “Once they decided a priori to fire him, that kind of dictated how the investigation needed to be done in order to keep any NIH money,” said a former trainee. “It would be a perfect kill shot. By doing it the way they did it, they guaranteed he couldn’t be hired, and where’s he going to take the grants if he can’t be hired?”

At least a few of Sabatini’s grants were transferred to Jonathan Weissman, who is currently listed as the principal investigator on “Novel Components of the mTORC1 and mTORC2 Pathways,” and “Cell Growth Signaling in Cancer Development,” and “Regulation of the mTOR Pathway by Nutrients” worth $487,500 and $463,125, and $416,813 respectively.

In October 2021, Sabatini filed a lawsuit against Knouse, Lehmann, and the Whitehead. He claimed that Knouse had “fabricated claims” that he had sexually harassed her, and that the Whitehead’s investigation was a sham. A few weeks later, Knouse filed a counterclaim that accused Sabatini, among other things, of sexual “grooming.”

I spoke with Ellen Zucker, Knouse’s attorney, for nearly an hour, but she insisted on not saying anything on the record. Knouse declined to comment. So did Lehmann, the Whitehead’s director.

At a meeting after Sabatini’s case was filed, on November 3, 2021 Lehmann, Kay Hodge, the Whitehead’s attorney, and the head of HR informed those left in the lab that NIH rules barred those who had worked under Sabatini from having any contact with him at all. When some of them objected—Sabatini, at that point, was just a guy living in Boston—a scientist who was there recalled Hodge warning them: “You wouldn’t want to jeopardize your future eligibility for NIH funding.” There was a chill in the room. “That’s a death sentence,” the scientist said.

The whole thing was baffling to those who know Sabatini. “It’s as if the best player in the NFL got cut because he said something politically incorrect on social media,” Peter Attia, a medical expert on longevity and a close friend of Sabatini, told me. “In my opinion, he’s one of the top five scientists of his generation in my area,” said Ben Neel, who runs NYU’s cancer center. I asked a former trainee what she made of Sabatini’s reputation. “You don’t have to ask me, just look at his PubMed,” she said, referring to his copious list of published findings.

In late 2021, six months after he resignedDafna Bar-Sagi, the Vice Dean of Science at NYU Langone Health, which comprises New York University’s medical school and several hospitals, called Sabatini. He was an old friend. She knew about everything that had happened, and she wanted to check in on him. He lamented that no one would ever hire him again. Bar-Sagi said he was being silly. Of course, she said, someone somewhere would give him a job. He was the famous David Sabatini. Finally, he asked her point blank, Would she?

Protesters at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. (Manasa Gudavalli via Washington Square News)

On a bright, breezy Wednesday morning in late April on the corner of 30th Street and First Avenue, in the shadow of the huge, glass buildings that make up part of NYU Langone Health, the protesters were chanting, “Whose school? Our school!” and someone was screaming, “Safety!” They were angry, incredulous—many of the postdocs and researchers and faculty were waving posters that said things like, “WTF NYU” and “No to Sabatini!” They could not believe that this was going to happen.

They hadn’t read the lawyers’ report, but they had read the internet, and they didn’t like what they’d read. NYU was about to hire a “serial sexual harasser,” as one of the demonstrators put it, trading grant dollars for their trainees’ “safety.” So where should a superstar researcher do his research? Where does the guy who’s going to help cure cancer go? “Uhhh, Prison?” Madeleine Sutherland, a postdoc, told me.

The demonstration was sparked by an article in Science magazine that reported that NYU higher-ups and Sabatini had been in talks for several months. Nothing was set in stone. There was no formal offer on the table.

“The work was exhaustive to vet Sabatini,” Ken Langone, the billionaire philanthropist and chair of the Board of Trustees of the NYU Langone Medical Center tells me. “If there was anything untoward about this man’s behavior, we would not have touched him with a ten foot pole.”

“David is one of the greatest scientists of our century,” Bar-Sagi told me. Hoping to clear the way for Sabatini, and wary of not appearing insensitive to the Whitehead report’s findings, NYU was conducting its own investigation—“at the risk,” Bar-Sagi said, “of depriving society of the benefit of having someone like this continuing their career and making really meaningful discoveries that can affect human health for generations.”

NYU shared the Whitehead report with several outside lawyers, who all concluded that Sabatini was not afforded due process.

But the internal pressure, the bad press, and the tweets from within and without NYU were becoming too much. Postdocs at the medical school were threatening to retract papers. Faculty had been ostracized for not publicly blasting Sabatini. Andrew Hamilton, NYU’s president, sent a letter “strongly advising” that the medical school not go through with hiring Sabatini. “Faculty at the University and elsewhere have been told not to work with us. And also, speakers are being told not to come here,” an NYU administrator texted a colleague.

On May 3, NYU announced: “After careful and thorough consideration that included the perspectives of many stakeholders, both Dr. David Sabatini and NYU Grossman School of Medicine have reached the conclusion that it will not be possible for him to become a member of our faculty.”

“If people are close minded to the idea that there can be a consensual relationship between two adults, I’m afraid we can’t make any traction,” said Grossman, the dean of NYU Medical School. Neel, who would’ve become the second most famous cancer researcher at NYU had Sabatini been hired, tells me, “I find it all deeply disappointing and frightening.”

As if all this weren’t enough, the NIH started making noise. They’d gotten several anonymous complaints about Bar-Sagi. She has never had any complaint about her in her entire career. Her apparent crime appears to have been initiating the conversation with Sabatini.

Last week, NIH officials sent NYU a letter questioning Bar-Sagi’s ability to provide a safe environment for trainees. “It’s a pretty interesting message,” said Grossman. NIH also informed the university that it was auditing Bar-Sagi’s involvement in over $500 million in grant money that it had awarded to NYU. Most of that, $470 million, is for a study on long Covid.

Sabatini told me has a recurring nightmare: He’s trapped in the Whitehead building when he discovers he’s not allowed to be there. He frantically tries to get to an exit, but he never makes it out. In real life, he has no idea what became of his lab, or the millions of dollars of equipment and reagents there, or the half-finished experiments including projects on neurodegeneration and ovarian cancer. Most everyone has left.

Sabatini spends his days shuffling around, watching Netflix, caring for his 11-year-old son and taking calls from lawyers. He got some job offers, from China, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates—places that don’t care about the things he’s accused of. Knouse is now an assistant professor of biology at MIT, and she runs her own lab at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, named after the late MIT alum and conservative mega-donor David H. Koch following a $100 million gift.

One wonders whether the very rich people shoveling piles of money into these institutions have any idea about what’s going on within them.

At the protest, I met Tulsi Patel, a postdoc at Columbia. Patel tells me about a new bullying policy at Columbia, which she helped to write, to deal with “power-based harassment” that doesn’t fall into the already illegal categories like sex and race-based harassment. “We recommended calling it the Office of Conflict Resolution, just to make it sound like a chill thing, like it’s about resolving conflicts,” Patel said. The provost is reviewing the proposal.

Grossman, the dean of NYU’s medical school, talks a lot about, “listening to our community” and “believing in the process,” but the protestors don’t really care about any of that. They’re playing a different game. They know that if they make enough noise, if they claim enough “harm,” NYU— or any other school that brands itself as inclusive or progressive—will give in. And even if Sabatini were hired, no one would have worked with him. It would have been social suicide to.

Many of the researchers and postdocs I spoke to pointed out that, as scientists, it’s essential to look carefully at all the evidence and to leave no stone unturned. The way the Whitehead and MIT conducted their investigation into David Sabatini runs counter, they say, to the scientific method itself. It also sends a clear message: That ground-breaking research takes a backseat to an ideal of social purity, and that subjective truth is the only truth that matters.

“In my lab, there were two criteria we always strived toward; that the discovery is fundamentally true, which means proving it in many different ways, and that it’s new,” Sabatini said. “Everyone talks about your truth, and my truth. Physically, chemically, there’s only one truth.”

The New Founders America Needs: What I Told the First Students at The University of Austin

[EDITOR’s NOTE: G-d bless Bari Weiss and her courageous fellow travelers. Yes, the truth shall set us all free … let freedom (once again) ring throughout America!]

COMMON SENSE | By Bari Weiss | July 10, 2022

There are nearly 4,000 universities in the United States. Many of them have massive endowments and histories that stretch back to well before the country’s founding. So you’d be forgiven for thinking it a bit ridiculous to try to compete with those Goliaths.

And yet that is exactly what the new University of Austin, or UATX, is doing.

The premise of UATX is simple. It goes like this: While the brand-name schools have the money they no longer have the mission. They have fundamentally abandoned the point of the university: the pursuit of truth.

Anyone with eyes can see the problem. But most of those people spend their time privately complaining about the status quo—while writing yearly checks to their alma mater so their children have a chance of getting in.

The good people at UATX, where I am on the board, aren’t sitting around criticizing. They are not waiting. They are doing.

Since the school’s founding president, Pano Kanelos, announced the project this November in these pages UATX has raised more than $100 million—with no alumni. Within the first week, the school received more than 3,500 inquiries from professors at other universities.

And a few weeks back, it opened its doors to its first students at its inaugural summer school.

I was blown away by the students I met there, and I was honored to lecture alongside teachers like Niall Ferguson, Kathleen Stock, Deirdre McCloskey, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Rob Henderson and Thomas Chatterton-Williams.

Today I wanted to share with all of you the talk I gave at the Old Parkland in Dallas to the first class of UATX students.

It’s a little long, so consider printing this one out. Or, if you prefer, listening to it at the original post https://open.spotify.com/episode/1UCL9mND16SjmUyl3Dl0ED?go=1&sp_cid=f64e6ebcde878940fb821a0e15a12f02&utm_source=embed_player_p&utm_medium=desktop&nd=1

Before I begin, I must recognize that we are currently sitting on the ancestral home of the Apache and that my pronouns are she, her and hers. Also I am a cis–gendered woman, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, generally able-bodied though my eyesight is less than 20/20 and I can’t run more than half a mile. Also, my own family was displaced by Cossacks at some point in the mid-1800s in what is now called Poland and we’re still waiting for an apology.

I’m older than you guys, so I remember a time when the sentences I just uttered would have been incomprehensible outside of a critical theory class with a couple dozen people. That was back when the idea of “staying woke” was a lyric Lead Belly sang. That was before the phrase cancel culture was a thing.

I distinctly remember the first cancellation I heard about, though we didn’t call it that then. It was 2014. The school was Brandeis–a school founded on the notion of religious freedom, a school with the motto “truth, even unto its innermost parts”—and the school had extended an honorary degree to the magnificent Ayaan Hirsi Ali only to withdraw it. It was a scandal. I remember reading dozens of stories about it.

Those were the days. Now that story would last maybe half a day. Because now, the whole country is a campus.

Now, you can find land acknowledgments at Starbucks (seriously, a reader sent me a photo of a land acknowledgment hung in the coffee shop in Toronto) or pronouns in the email signatures of tech titans, or strange, neo-racist ideas baked into the onboarding programs of our most elite, prestigious companies.

And nowadays, anyone who is anyone—anyone who is vaguely interesting or has something original to say—has been disinvited from somewhere. Larry Summers from the University of California. Ilya Shapiro at UC Hastings, and then Georgetown. Ben Shapiro and Jane Fonda. Also: James Watson, Michael Moore, George Will, Peter Singer, Bjorn Lomberg, Bruce Gilley, Camile Pagila, Christina Hoff Sommers, Randall Kennedy…I could just list names for the next hour. Many of them you are lucky to have here teaching this week: Dorian Abbott, Peter Boghossian, and, of course, Ayaan.

Disinvitation—now called deplatforming—has become a regular feature of American life as the politics of censoriousness, forced conformity and ideological obedience have taken hold.

Now you can get disinvited from our best newspapers, as Donald McNeil or James Bennet well know. You can get disinvited or frozen out from our fanciest magazines, which is why Andrew Sullivan and Matt Taibbi now have newsletters on Substack and Alexi McCammond, hired to be the editor of Teen Vogue, was pushed out before she started because of tweets she wrote in high school. You can be a president of a storied American company, like Levi’s, and be ushered to the door, as Jennifer Sey was, for criticizing school shutdowns. You can devote yourself to students at progressive prep schools, like Paul Rossi at Grace Church, only to be pushed out for standing up against racial essentialism. You can be canceled in medicine, like Pitt’s Norman Wang. Tech companies (like Antonio Garcia Martinez at Apple). Folk bands (Google Winston Marshall). And even high school fundraisers, as Dave Chappelle recently was. Though as he put it: “They’re canceling stuff I didn’t even want to do.”

These stories now whiz by us on our social media feeds daily—did you see the one about the taco truck canceled for cultural appropriation? Or the painter who made the wrong painting? Or the novelist who wrote the wrong novel? Or the museum curator? The Oberlin baker? Or the dog walker? Or the comedian? Or the Palestinian restaurateur?

For each of these examples, you all can no doubt think of dozens more in your communities and schools that have gone unreported.

These incidents are not discreet little firestorms. They are deeply interconnected. They are the result of a zealous and profoundly illiberal ideology that has infiltrated our largest companies, our media, our universities, our medical schools, our law schools, our hospitals, our local governments, our elementary schools. Our friendships. Our families. Our language.

If you are sitting in this room you know this better than most Americans because you are living it.

You have all sat in classrooms, posted on social media, and applied to college and felt the pressure at each stage to promote an ideology you disagree with.

Maybe instead of being taught how to read, write, and think, you’ve been taught to obsess over things like race and gender. Maybe instead of debating ideas openly and honestly, you’ve been told to toe the party line or be quiet. Maybe you’ve been asked to trade inquisitive fact-finding for acceptance of a predetermined narrative.

Maybe you have watched as a classmate was shamed for a mistake. Or a bad joke. And watched as people piled on and worried if you would be next.

Maybe instead of writing a paper with an argument you believe in, you’ve been pressured—at the risk of a low grade—to write the paper repeating the argument you know your teacher or professor wants to hear. Maybe you feel afraid to speak up in class—a privilege for which you or your parents pay many thousands of dollars—for fear of enraging the mob.

What has become obvious to anyone paying attention is that we are living through a kind of revolution.

It is not a physical one. As my friend Abe Greenwald wrote in Commentary Magazine, it “is not being fought within the physical limits of a battlefield. It is instead happening all around us and directly to us. It is redefining our culture, our media, and giving new shape to our public and private institutions. It is remaking the nation before our eyes.”

In other words, this is a revolution of culture. A revolution of ideas.

For far too long, it resisted description. The revolution’s proponents went from pretending it didn’t exist and insisting that those who suggested it did were wearing tinfoil hats . . . to declaring it was here, and it was excellent, and that if you didn’t get on board you were a bigot and a bad person.

Others, meantime, have tried to deny its existence because they are scared of its implications. Or because what’s happening on the right is also scary. They point to the rise of QAnon and the spread of conspiracy theories about stolen elections and members of Congress who talk casually about Jewish space lasers and insist that any one who suggests that the problem is anywhere but the right is basically abetting the rise of fascism. As if there can’t be two bad things happening at once.

Others pretend away ideological revolution for more craven reasons: Because to see it would be to give up too much status. Too much prestige. To really see it—and to reckon with how completely it has won—might mean giving up on Yale. Or Harvard.

But deny it as they might, it is very much here.

Indeed, this soft, cultural revolution is, I believe, the biggest untold story in America right now. It is one that is happening right under our noses and it promises to reshape the country. It already has.

This is not an abstraction to me.

What I started to witness many years ago as a student at Columbia University . . . has come to impact my friendships . . . my relationships . . . my career . . . It is the reason why I am speaking to you not as an employee of the New York Times, but as a journalist who has had to learn to become an entrepreneur, building new media for our new world.

I didn’t want to run my own company. I didn’t want to be a founder. I don’t own a fleece vest and I don’t wear AllBirds. And despite what you may read on Twitter, I like being part of an institution. I loved telling people I worked for The Times. Part of me imagined I would work there forever.

I also imagined I’d live in a world where I could say with confidence and clarity: I know where I want to work. I know where I want to live. I know where I want to raise my kids. Or send them to school. Or where they should apply to college.

But the truth is I don’t know any of those things anymore.

Those of us in this room–and those Americans who are truly alive to the moment we are in—don’t have the luxury of steady ground. It’s simply not the moment we are living in.

The moment we are in requires something different . . . and seemingly paradoxical.

It requires us to both build totally new things . . . and to conserve very old ones.

It requires us to look for new allies . . . and to strengthen old loyalties.

It requires us to listen to new voices . . . and to heed ancient wisdom that is being lost.

In many ways, what is required of us—especially of you here in this room—is what was required of the people whose images hang on these walls. The founding generation, who married the old and the radically new when they came here to found a New Jerusalem.

So this afternoon, I want to offer you the briefest overview of the core beliefs of the un-American revolution we are currently living through, which are abundantly clear to anyone willing to look past the hashtags and the jargon. Then I want to tell you what I think we—liberals, conservatives, independents, trads, whigs, normies, the coalition of the sane—can do to stop it in order to preserve the precious virtues that have made this country the last, best hope on Earth and that have made every single one of our lives possible.

A lot of people want to convince you that you need a PhD or a law degree or dozens of hours of free time to read dense texts about critical theory to understand the revolution that’s transforming America. You do not. You simply need to believe your own eyes and ears.

The ideology that is trying to unseat liberalism in America begins by stipulating that the forces of justice and progress are in a war against backwardness and tyranny. And in a war, the normal rules of the game must be suspended. Indeed, this ideology would argue that those rules are not just obstacles to justice, but tools of oppression. They are the master’s tools. And the master’s tools cannot dismantle the master’s house.

So the tools themselves are not just replaced but repudiated.

Persuasion—the purpose of argument—is replaced with public shaming. Moral complexity is replaced with moral certainty. Facts are replaced with feelings. The rule of law is replaced with mob rule.

Ideas are replaced with identity. Forgiveness is replaced with punishment. Debate is replaced with disinvitation and de-platforming. Diversity is replaced with homogeneity of thought. Inclusion with exclusion. Excellence with equity.

In this ideology, disagreement is recast as trauma. So speech is violence. But violence, when carried out by the right people in pursuit of a just cause, is not violence at all—but in fact justice.

In this ideology, bullying is wrong, unless you are bullying the right people, in which case it’s very, very good. In this ideology, information that does comport with The Narrative is recast as disinformation, its proponents as conspiracy theorists. In this ideology, education is not about teaching people how to think, it’s about re-educating them in what to think. In this ideology the need to feel safe trumps the need to speak truthfully.

In this ideology, if you do not tweet the right tweet or share the right slogan, your whole life can be ruined. Just ask Tiffany Riley, a Vermont school principal who was fired—fired—because she said she supports black lives but not the organization Black Lives Matter.

In this ideology, the past cannot be understood on its own terms, but must be judged through the morals and mores of the present. It is why statues of Grant, Lincoln and Washington were torn down. It is why William Peris, a UCLA lecturer and an Air Force veteran, was investigated because he read Martin Luther King’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” out loud in class.

In this ideology, intentions don’t matter. That is why Emmanuel Cafferty, a Hispanic utility worker at San Diego Gas and Electric, was fired for making what someone said they thought was a white-supremacist hand gesture. In fact, he was fidgeting with his fingers out of his car window.

In this ideology, you are guilty for the sins of your fathers. In other words: you are not you. You are only a mere avatar of your race or your religion or your class. That is why third graders in Cupertino, California, were asked to rate themselves in terms of their power and privilege. It is why an elementary school in Washington, D.C. gave kindergarteners a “fistbook” asking them to identify racist family members.

In this system, we are all placed neatly on a spectrum of “privileged” to “oppressed.” We are ranked somewhere on this spectrum in different categories: race, gender, sexual orientation and class. Then we are given an overall score, based on the sum of these rankings. Having privilege means that your character and your ideas are tainted. This is why, one high schooler in New York tells me, students in his school are told “if you are white and male, you are second in line to speak.” This is considered a normal and necessary redistribution of power.

Victimhood, in this ideology, confers morality. “I think therefore I am” is replaced with: “I am therefore I know.” Or: “I know therefore I am right.”

This ideology says there is no such thing as neutrality, not even in the law, which is why the very notion of colorblindness—the Kingian dream of judging people not based on the color of their skin but by the content of their character—must itself be deemed racist.

In this ideology, the equality of opportunity is replaced with equality of outcome as a measure of fairness. Racism is no longer about individual discrimination. It is about systems that allow for disparate outcomes among racial groups. If everyone doesn’t finish the race at the same time, then the course must have been flawed and should be dismantled.

Thus the efforts to do away with the SAT, or the admissions test for elite public schools like Stuyvesant and Lowell—for decades, the engines of opportunity that allowed children of poor and working-class families to advance on their merit, regardless of race. Or the argument made by The New York Times’ classical music critic to do away with blind auditions for orchestras.

In fact, any feature of human existence that creates disparity of outcomes must be eradicated: The nuclear family, politeness, even rationality itself can be defined as inherently racist or evidence of white supremacy. The KIPP charter schools recently eliminated the phrase “work hard” from its famous motto “Work Hard. Be Nice.” Why? Because the idea of working hard “supports the illusion of meritocracy.”

In this revolution, skeptics are recast as heretics. Those who do not abide by every single aspect of its creed are tarnished as bigots, subjected to boycotts and their work to political litmus tests. The enlightenment, as the critic Edward Rothstein has put it, has been replaced by the exorcism.

What we call “cancel culture” is really the justice system of this revolution. And the goal of the cancellations is not merely to punish the person being canceled. The goal is to send a message to everyone else: Step out of line and you are next.

It has worked.

A recent CATO study found that 62 percent of Americans are afraid to voice their true views. Nearly a quarter of American academics endorse ousting a colleague for having a wrong opinion about hot-button issues such as immigration. And nearly 70 percent of students favor reporting professors if the professor says something that students find offensive, according to a Challey Institute for Global Innovation survey. Think about that. A majority of students in America think it is a virtue to inform on their wrong-thinking professors.

How did that become normal? And why have so many, especially so many young people, perhaps your best friends, been drawn to this ideology?

I do not think it is because they are stupid.

All of this has taken place on the backdrop of major changes in American life—the tearing apart of our social fabric; the loss of religion and the decline of civic organizations; the opioid crisis; the collapse of American industries; the rise of big tech; successive financial crises; a toxic public discourse; crushing student debt. An epidemic of loneliness. A crisis of meaning. A pandemic of distrust. It has taken place against the backdrop in which the American dream has felt like a punchline, the inequalities of our supposedly fair, liberal meritocracy clearly rigged in favor of some people and against others. And so on.

“I became converted because I was ripe for it and lived in a disintegrating society thrusting for faith.” That was Arthur Koestler writing in 1949 about his love affair with Communism. But the same might be said of this new revolutionary faith. And like other religions at their inception, this one has lit the souls of true believers on fire, eager to burn down anything that stands in their way.

So what are we to do?

The answer is not liberalism, if liberalism means defending the Ministry of Truth as necessary to fight disinformation or protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices in the name of justice. Nor is it conservatism if conservatism means defending the rights of Big Tech to shut down the public square to conservatives, or fawning over European autocrats and theocracies and calling for a similar model of government to dawn on our shores. That’s why the founders left there for here.

No, we have to get more fundamental, more foundational. We have to get beyond the tired and rotted out ideas about left and right and ask: What are the virtues and values that have made America and the West the best, freest, most enlightened, most tolerant of minorities, most open to new ideas, most innovative places in the history of the world?

The Founders that granted us independence from an older tyranny bequeathed to us a world-transforming set of ideas that, nearly 250 years later, still feel radical, especially in the last decade.

I believe that after the un-American revolution we are still living through, a new generation of founders will lead us out by looking to those same bedrock principles.

And I believe that you in this room can and should be among those founders. I believe being here at UATX is a sign that you know something has gone terribly wrong—and you know that only risk-takers are going to right it.

So given that we aren’t literally settling a new frontier or setting up a colony on Mars—at least not yet—what does that look like?

While the original Declaration of Independence had one call to action, I have ten. And none of them requires you to enlist in a local militia.

1. To be a founder in 21st-century America means to reject the politics of resentment and to recognize our privilege.

My dad lost a younger sister to cancer. My dad also has MS. So why does he constantly say he is the most privileged man in the world? Because he grew up in a stable, loving home with two parents. Because he has meaningful work. Because he has Judaism and the community that comes with it. Because he married the love of his life.

And, above all else, because he had the great, good fortune to be born in America.

Even with all our flaws and failings, even with inflation and polarization and tribalization, anyone who is honest will admit that there is nowhere better to build a life.

Saying that right now feels radical, because grievance and resentment define the current cultural moment. It’s a dead end. We must get back to gratitude.

2. To be a founder means to defend the rule of law.

It is just and right that those who participated in the orgy of violence on the Capitol on January 6 are being punished. That’s called the rule of law. It was an attempt to physically intimidate our elected officials. It’s wrong when it’s smashing through windows in Congressional offices and it is wrong when it is outside a Supreme Court Justice’s home.

This kind of violence has become normalized. The other day in the city where I live a man attempted to stab Dave Chappelle in front of tens of thousands of people at the Hollywood Bowl. Thankfully, Chappelle was unhurt, but the Los Angeles District Attorney decided not to charge him with a felony. And don’t even get me started on San Francisco.

Why, in the summer of 2020, could an organized political faction in Seattle take over a police precinct and a whole neighborhood? Or in Portland try to burn down a courthouse? Or in Kenosha burn to the ground the entire business district—shops largely owned by minorities? Why have we come to accept the suddenly rising murder rate as part of anti-racism when most of the people dying are black?

To be a founder, to be a builder, is to absolutely reject such violence as normal and to defend the rule of law.

3. To be a founder means to defend freedom of speech.

“Free speech” is not just a slogan. It is a tool that is essential for the free exercise of the mind, for the ability to search for truth. The only way to get to the truth is to have the freedom to think freely and to speak clearly. Without free speech, there is no truth. No innovation. No ability to persuade or take risks or to make new things. Free speech—allowing horrible things or shocking things to be argued—is a radical value and one that has been the foundation for American success.

Free speech also means refusing compelled speech. It means refusing to speak untruths, either about yourself or anyone else, no matter the comfort offered by the mob.

So do not genially accept the lies told to you.

For example: that Abraham Lincoln’s name on a public school or his likeness on a statue is white supremacy. (It is not; he is a hero.) Or that looting has no victims (untrue) and that small-business owners can cope anyway because they have insurance (nonsense). Or that America is evil. (No, it is the last hope on Earth.)

If possible, be public and vocal in rejecting claims you know to be false.

Cowardice is contagious—but so is courage. And your singular example may serve as a means of transmission.

4. To be a founder means to break your addiction to prestige.

In other words: Worship God more than Yale.

Yale right now is a school where law students scrawl things like “the law is violence” and “we are the law.” It’s where, at the School of Medicine’s Child Study Center, someone gave a talk called “The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind” and got softballs during the Q and A.

So why, again, do so many venereate it? Why do so many get their sense of status and self-worth through it? Why do we accept that our children will be taught at schools that cost $80,000 to hate themselves and the West, think of themselves as perma-victim or oppressor, and get docile at the idea of pushing back?

Because we are unable to let go of the status it confers. That is why.

Even if your goal is reform instead of building anew, fighting this ideology means becoming unpopular within the Good Old Places and getting very clear on what is essential right now. Being popular is not essential. Doing the right thing is essential. Telling the truth is essential.

So worship God more than Yale, and look for Common Sense outside of the Ivy League.

5. To be a founder means to reject moral relativism.

Some cultures are more just than others and it is right to say so. Ibram Kendi says this: “In order to be an antiracist, we have to stop standardizing our own culture and judging other cultures from our standards because whoever creates the standard becomes the top of the hierarchy.” And: “We need to figure out a way to recognize that when we see cultural difference, all we are seeing is cultural difference.”

I say that’s nonsense. You can absolutely judge other cultures. Cultures that force women into burqas. Or practice female genital mutilation. Or hang gay people from cranes. To be a founder means saying: What we are building is harder to do, but, yes, it is better.

6. To be a founder means to defend witches.

Good people right now are being scapegoated. They are being burned as witches, judged based on their worst moment and hung out to dry because of a mistake or a bad joke or a bad thought or a lapse in judgment.

David Sabatani, one of the most important scientists in the country, is now collecting unemployment because of unverified claims of sexual misconduct. Feminist philosophy professor Kathleen Stock was pushed out of the University of Sussex because her research on sex and gender offended some students. Joshua Katz was smeared as a racist by Princeton for speaking out against radical “anti-racist” measures such as institutionalized struggle sessions and race-based compensation for professors—until he was finally fired. I could go on and on and on.

It is appalling, illiberal, and morally wrong. And yet too often too many of us stay silent.

Including me.

Here’s what I mean: The issue of gender ideology is one I did not want to touch. I was scared, sure. But also I didn’t think it was worth it. I didn’t think it was even my issue. Let other people handle it.

And so I watched from the sidelines as women like Abigail Shrier and J.K. Rowling said wild things like: Hey, biological men and biological women probably shouldn’t share a prison cell. Or maybe a 15-year-old is too young to decide on her own sterilization. These women weren’t thrown on a pyre but they were humiliated. They were threatened and slandered. It’s easy to see this happen and say: I am not touching that with a ten-foot pole.

You see, a lot of people are letting other people fight the fight on the logic that it’s not the right hill for them to die on. But at some point one runs out of hills.

Principles are not like money. You do not need to be judicious and stingy about how you spend the capital of integrity. And who you spend it on. No. The more hills you die on the more valuable you become. So find more hills to die on and more witches to defend. Even, and maybe especially, if those witches are flawed.

7. To be a founder means to use your own eyes and ears.

To quote John Adams, “Facts are stubborn things.” Use your own sensibilities to decipher fact from fiction. The mainstream narrative can be addictive and easy to digest, but reality is far too stubborn to fit so neatly into boxes.

Do your own research. Be independent-minded. And seek out the truth—don’t just rely on others to tell you how things are..

You don’t have to become an “expert” to form your own opinion from the facts, and, if the pandemic has taught us anything, you should certainly be skeptical of anyone claiming to be one.

8. Being a founder means refusing to submit your relationships and friendships to political litmus tests.

The other day my wife got an email from an old friend of hers. The friend’s note was like a missive from the Soviet Union in that it demanded that my wife prove her purity of politics by disavowing . . . me. This is not the first time she or I has been asked to do something of this nature.

A politics that forces its adherents to put their most intimate relationships to a litmus test is a politics of totalitarianism.

The beauty of America was that it insisted that there are whole realms of human life located outside the province of politics, like friendships, art, music, family and love. And those are the most important parts of life. And anyone that says otherwise is forgetting what it means to be American and really a human being.

9. Being a founder means resisting nihilism.

That means both the nihilism of the left that says abolish the police because safety is impossible. And it means resisting the new nihilism of the right that says decline is inevitable, we’re in the last gasps of empire. The nihilism that roots for Putin because “in Russia they don’t ask your pronouns.” The nihilism of saying: The Bronze Age was better because men were really men then. But also the historical revisionism of wishing we were still peasants in the Middle Ages because capitalism is so awful. The nihilism that wants to go back fifty years or five hundred years based on some fetishized vision of a better time. The nihilism of losing perspective.

To quote the brilliant Grimes, being a founder doesn’t mean killing what you hate, it means saving what you love.

10. Above all, to be a founder is to build new things.

I began this list with gratitude. But gratitude does not mean settling for the status quo. It means fighting for a more perfect union. It means fighting to make the kind of country and culture you want to live in. And eventually raise kids in. Gratitude means understanding that the reason we have what we have is because lots of people before us lived hard lives and made tremendous sacrifices. And the least we can do is, I dunno, maybe try to start a new university.

Every day I hear from those with means with children at private schools who are being brainwashed; people who run companies where they are scared of their own employees; people who donate to their alma mater even though it betrays their principles; people who are applying to schools or jobs that they know will compromise their integrity but are doing it anyway.

Enough. You have the ability to change the untenable status quo. You have the ability to build new things. If you don’t have the financial capital, you have the social or political capital. Or the ability to sweat. You have the ability to build.

As my friend Katherine Boyle recently wrote in Common Sense: “Building is a political philosophy. It is neither red nor blue, progressive nor conservative. It is averse to the political short-termism and zero-sum thinking that permeates our aging institutions that won’t protect us in this era. There is no fixed pie when it comes to building. Building is an action, a choice, a decision to create and move. It is shovels in the dirt with a motley crew of doers who get the job done because no one else will. Building is the only certainty. The only thing we can control. When the projects we believed were Teflon strong are fraying like the history they toppled, the only thing to do is to make something new again.”

We all wanted certainty. We all wanted to coast on what we knew: that the world we were born into would remain as it was, that the institutions would remain strong and trustworthy and the political parties would remain consistent and fixed. None of us expected this.

But then again, neither did those who decided to leave the Old World and build the New.

Don’t forget: More than a dozen of the actual founders were 18th century millennials—under the age of 35. So don’t tell me that small groups of young people cannot transform the world when they made ours.

If you are in this room there is a very good chance that you are one of our new founders. I can’t wait to see what you build.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this piece said that the Los Angeles District Attorney decided not to charge Dave Chappelle’s attacker. In fact, Isaiah Lee was not charged with a felony. He was charged with misdemeanors.

Hunter Biden’s Questionable Business Dealings Reveal Why China Has Power Over Biden … The Biden Crime Family +

By Adina Kutnicki

SELF-EXPLANATORY. ROCK & ROLL!

In April 2022, the New York Post confirms the National Pulse report.

Joe Biden wrote to his son Hunter and others close to him using the pseudonym “Peter Henderson” – a fictional Soviet Union-era spy in several Tom Clancy novels who infiltrated the US government, emails show.

The messages contained on Hunter’s abandoned laptop appear to indicate the then-VP started using the fictitious mole’s moniker in October 2016 while forwarding a YouTube video to his son Hunter, brother Jim, daughter-in-law Hallie, as well as his sister and longtime political strategist Valerie Biden Owens.

Biden sent the message using an email address with a username of “67stingray” — a clear reference to his beloved 1967 Corvette Stingray.

MILITARY BLASTS TRUMP OVER ENDORSING OBAMA ACOLYTE

IT is impossible to predict what President Trump will do at any given moment. This is so because his greatest asset is his ability to play 3-D chess, meanwhile, others are busying themselves with a garden variety version. Chumps.

NOT only that, even before he burst onto the political scene, his trade-in-stock always featured an overdose of braggadocio, that is, a show-man style of delivery. Grating. Still yet, incontestably, the most pro-America and successful President in modern history. Hands-down.

WITHIN this context, don’t let the very strange conversation (between General Berger, the lead White Hat Commander, and Trump) muddy the waters. Even so. it still begs the question: Since Karri Lake is obviously linked to HUSSEIN Obama, what in the world is really going on within the aforementioned 3-D chess prism??

INDEED, this is where the focus must lie.

REAL RAW NEWS | By Michael Baxter | July 11, 2022

Friction between White Hat commanders and President Donald J. Trump resumed Thursday afternoon after Fox News’ host Laura Ingraham learned during an interview with Arizona gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson that her competitor, Karri Lake, was once a stalwart Obama supporter.

Ingraham was shocked because Trump endorsed Lake’s bid to helm the Grand Canyon State, and so too was Marine Corps General David H. Berger, who saw Ingraham’s Thursday broadcast, said a source in the general’s office.

He told Real Raw News that General Berger literally facepalmed himself upon hearing that Lake had donated sizable chunks of cash to Obama’s presidential campaigns and spearheaded a grassroots campaign that helped fund the dark lord’s candidacy. Lake had even knocked on doors in Republican precincts for Obama, encouraging lifelong conservatives to switch sides.

“General Berger was more than a bit upset at Trump’s endorsement of Kari Lake. He’s been Trump’s best ally among the White Hats, and he’s cautioned Trump about appointing, hiring, and endorsing Deep State saboteurs posing as Republicans. Gen. Berger’s been as constant as the Northern Star, solidly in Trump’s camp. But other commanders who heard the broadcast, officers who have already questioned Trump’s competency, were outraged, and they let Gen. Berger know,” our source said.

The officers in question were Major Gen. Richard E. Angle and Col. J.D. Keirsey, both of whom have criticized Trump’s lack of foresight and accused Gen. Berger of blindly supporting a man who frequently embraced traitors as allies. On a conference call with Gen. Berger, they namedropped Jeff Sessions, William Barr, John Bolton, and Michael Pence as wolves in sheep’s clothing whom Trump had incorporated into his inner circle. Persons who betrayed Trump when he was most vulnerable. Gen. Angle said Trump’s feckless leadership was compromising the military’s ability to wage a successful war against the Deep State.

“With due respect, General Berger, this cannot continue. We’re crippled by our own,” Gen. Angle reportedly said.

“I’ll talk to him again,” Gen. Berger replied.

And on Saturday afternoon they spoke again by phone, with Gen. Berger asking Trump to stop supporting Kari Lake.

“We believe she’s Deep State, Mr. President, and frankly, she loves Obama,” Gen. Berger said.

The general, our source said, tried to impress upon Trump the military’s concerns, but Trump seemed more interested in boasting about renovations made to his personal Boeing 757. Trump bragged that his remodeled jumbo jet was now equipped with flares, chaff, and an extensive countermeasures suite—just like Air Force One—and could outperform any plane of its size in the sky. Trump was particularly impressed by his plane’s enhanced engines, saying his 757 could cruise at Mach .85 while other 757s could achieve only Mach .8.

When Trump paused for breath, our source added, the general steered the conversation back toward Trump’s questionable endorsements.

“I gave you authority to catch criminals, general, not get political. Yes, Pence is a very bad guy, and, no, I didn’t know then he was a pedophile in Indiana. I’ve learned a lot—more than you know. You do your job and keep your people in line, and let me do mine. I didn’t empower you to question me. I did it so you can get some very bad people out of office and off the street. Don’t question my moves; I know what I’m doing,” Trump told him.

According to our source, the conversation ended with Trump disconnecting the call.

“General Berger is still calling the White Hat shots, but the dissenting voices grow louder,” our source said.
