Muslim Brotherhood Mafia (PROBABLY) Received Chemical Assists In Syria Via Barack HUSSEIN Obama…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Regulars readers understand that it takes much to shock this blogger. In fact, most who know her well would posit that this is a decided understatement.

So before the following report was considered “A okay” to post (as reliable as Western Center for Journalism is) it was necessary to double check with some trusted U.S. contacts, just to make sure, in their considered opinion, that it was on the mark. It’s going up, so you know the result of said conversation.

It is imperative to note, previous commentaries ( allude to the contents below, but today’s report brings all our worst fears full circle – leaked emails and all!

‘Did Obama Stage A Chemical Weapons Attack In Syria?’

“We know that Obama, under Fast and Furious, ran guns to Mexican drug cartels in order to curtail the Second Amendment.

We know that Barack Obama was running weapons to Syria, using Benghazi as a base of operation and Ambassador Chris Stevens as his point man.

But what if there was a new scandal, something so horrendous that it would make Obama’s gunrunning escapades look like child’s play?

Obama has made no secret of the fact that he wants to depose Syrian dictator Bashar Assad. He would have ridden on the shoulders of NATO long ago, spurning Congress like he did when he conducted an illegal and unconstitutional war in toppling Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

But in Gaddafi’s case, Obama had the UN and NATO supporting him. In Syria’s case, Obama lacks global support.

There is only one way Obama has vowed he would get involved in the toppling of Assad: that is, if the so-called “red line” is passed, whereby there is evidence Assad used chemical weapons against his own people.

There is every indication that Assad would never deploy chemical weapons against his own people. And in fact, Syria has long feared that the Obama administration would manufacture a false flag chemical weapons attack perpetrated by the Syrian rebels and then blame it on Assad.

And that is what apparently has happened.

With a twist.

On January 26, Cyber War News reported on a huge cache of emails and documents hacked from the defense contractor giant Britam. The key document is an email between Britam director David Goulding and the company’s founder, Philip Doughty. They engage in a shocking discussion: a proposal is made whereby a chemical weapon would be launched on Syria, the blame would be placed on Assad, and delivery of the weapon would be blamed on the Russians. The proposal, per the email, was “approved by Washington”—that is, by Barack Hussein Obama. The email is as follows:

Phil, We’ve got a new offer. It’s about Syria again. Qataris propose an attractive deal and swear that the idea is approved by Washington. We’ll have to deliver a CW [chemical weapon] to Homs [city in western Syria], a Soviet origin g-shell [gas shell] from Libya similar to those that Assad should have. They want us to deploy our Ukrainian personnel that should speak Russian and make a video record. Frankly, I don’t think it’s a good idea but the sums proposed are enormous. Your opinion? Kind regards-David.

Along with this email, there is a huge cache of downloadable documents, including passports of the Ukrainian mercenaries whom it is presumed would be posing as the scapegoated Russians delivering the chemical weapons.

Lo and behold on January 15, the leftist magazine Foreign Policy comes out with an “exclusive” article on a secret cable showing that Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. According to the article:

An Obama administration official who reviewed the document, which was classified at the “secret” level, detailed its contents to The Cable. “We can’t definitely say 100 percent, but Syrian contacts made a compelling case that Agent 15 was used in Homs on Dec. 23,” the official said.

Exactly how Foreign Policy got access to a secret cable is unknown. What is known is that Barack Hussein Obama is probably gearing up to lead another invasion of an Arab country, leading to another Libya or another Egypt, where al-Qaeda-linked and Muslim Brotherhood Islamists take over the country.

But isn’t that what Barack Obama wants?

If Obama did in fact take part in the murder of the Syrian people with chemical weapons, impeachment would be just the beginning.

A global trial for war crimes would be in order.

America, however, would get first dibs on him. Then the world could do with him as they wished.”

One can seesaw all they want about how far the Islamist-in-Chief will go, in order to install the Muslim Brotherhood Mafia across the region. But if one requires a signed note/confession from Barack HUSSEIN Obama, about his designs for the region, little else will suffice – leaked emails notwithstanding!

‘Russia slams Israeli attack on Syria. US forces in Jordan on alert’

DEBKAfile Special Report January 31, 2013, 9:51 AM (GMT+02:00)

Israeli Air Force F-15 Eagle takes off
Israeli Air Force F-15 Eagle takes off

The Syrian announcement of an Israeli air strike on a military site near Damascus Wednesday, Jan. 30, drew strong condemnation from Moscow the next day: “Such action if confirmed would amount to unacceptable military interference in the war-ravaged country,” said the statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry Thursday. “If this information is confirmed, then we are dealing with unprovoked attacks on targets on the territory of a sovereign country, which blatantly violate the UN Charter and is unacceptable, no matter the motives to justify it.”
Israel has made no comment on the Damascus statement which described in detail an Israeli air strike against a “military research institute” near the capital. Witnesses say it was a plant for manufacturing “unconventional weapons.” The facility was destroyed and two staff members killed.

Lebanese sources later reported a Russian Mig-31 fighter had crossed over Sinai Wednesday in the direction of Israel. It veered west over the Mediterranean after encountering an Israeli warning not to intrude into its air space and continued flying over Lebanon.

DEBKAfile’s military sources say that the only external military force in the eastern Mediterranean region is a fleet of 18 Russian warships, which includes landing-craft – among the largest in the Russian Navy – with 2,000 marines aboard.
According to various Middle East sources, the Syrian report of an Israeli air strike has touched off high military alerts across the region. Syria has put its Golan forces on the Israel border on combat readiness and the Lebanese and Jordanian armies are on alert. So too are the Russian fleet opposite Syria and the Lebanese army.

Our military sources report that Turkish units on the Syrian border are on high preparedness although Ankara played down the reports of the Israeli air strike in Syria, uncomfortable over the fact that the Israeli Air Force was the first external power to intervene directly in the Syrian conflict.

So too are the US air force units stationed at the Turkish Incerlik air base, the US special forces deployed at the Jordanian Mafraq air facility and the American, German and Dutch Patriot missile interceptors deployed in Turkey opposite Syria. Israel has been on high alert since last week.
The prevailing estimate in military and intelligence circles in Washington and NATO capitals is that the Israeli air attack on the Syrian military site near Damascus was but the opening shot for the coming round of military blows they expect to be exchanged in the near future between Israel, Syria and Hizballah, with Iran possibly waiting in the wings for a chance to pitch in.

Gotta tip our hats to Israel’s top political leadership, they are not known for taking decisive action, especially without Washington’s say so. They are generally joined at the hip. As to the IAF and Israel’s special ops (Sayeret Matkal in the lead), they ALWAYS get the job done! Would be shocked if it turned out otherwise.

Kadima boychiks. Higher and higher. From strength to strength.

Black Hawk Redux…This Time Houston…Miami Too…What The Hell Is Going On? Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Living in the Middle East one gets used to – sort of – the intermittent displays of military power, whether in the skies, or via “controlled explosions” pounding overhead. Never mind the ever present soldiers displaying their ordinance, either by bus, rail or elsewhere. But that’s a good thing, at least when living in the heart of the Islamic beast!

However, aside from a short period after 9/11/01 (having personally witnessed many overhead military exercises at that time, living within spitting distance of the carnage), the U.S. military confines itself to its bases and several training spots in between, none of which includes citified exercise centers. Lo and behold, since Barack HUSSEIN Obama became Commander-in-Chief, stranger than strange military happenings have overtaken various city landscapes. What the hell is going on?

Of course, an out of control revolutionary regime will never tell the truth, but there are many patriots keeping an eye on some very worrying developments. As such, the following was reported, even all the way from Israel, as Black Hawks initially swirled overhead –

More to the point, the politicizing of DHS has rendered it ineffective towards its stated mission – …the protection of U.S. citizens, free of political machinations.

Thereby, is it any coincidence that “mama Janet” has instructed her charges: Conservative leaning Americans are the enemy? –

Not only are they the enemy, but “bitter clingers” must be disarmed, despite the protections of the Second Amendment – . The gov’t is totally out of control.

Dear readers, in light of the above, what do you make of this tidbit?

Jan. 28, 2013 11:21pm

“Following reports of a military exercise occurring in Miami this week, KTRK-TV shot video of military-style helicopters roaming the skies in Houston, Texas. There have also been several reports of gunfire in the area.

The U.S. Army tells KTRK-TV that they are overseeing a “multi-agency training drill” at the old Carnegie High School on Houston’s south side. There were reportedly armed men in fatigues, a lot of firearms and what many believed were real live rounds.

The Army did not give any additional details regarding what the training is all about or why it is being conducted in Houston.

One local resident, Frances Jerrals, didn’t understand what was happening when she saw military helicopters flying over her southeast Houston neighborhood.

“When you see this, you think the worst. When you hear this, you think the worst,” Jerrals told KTRK-TV.

“I felt like I was in a war zone…It was nonstop. I was terrified,” she added.

Another resident said the Army should do a better job of alerting the locals before they conduct such an alarming training drill.

A statement from police in Miami-Dade County argued the training exercise in Miami was “routine” and “designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments and meet mandatory certification requirement.”

This story may be updated with additional information.”

Rational folks intuit when smoke is blown their way. In fact, by insisting that the exercises are “routine”, when citizens know otherwise, only demonstrates their penchant for bold-faced lying.

Besides, no one is asking the military for their secrets. Far from it. But make no mistake. When “any city USA” becomes a mirror image of third world countries, or the most imperiled nation in the world, something is amiss. Dangerously so.

Stay vigilant.

Israel’s Special Forces, Sayeret Matkal, Take The Lead…Fordow Goes Boom…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Once again, this blog hails Sayeret Matkal, Israel’s most elite special ops forces. As a matter of record, and without exaggeration, it was a great honor to have been best friends with one of its elite commandos, Tsafrir Ronen, z”l (of blessed memory), who participated in the raid on Entebbe and so many other nation-saving missions – Israel’s Hero, My Hero  –

It is also no secret that Jerusalem has been practicing the “art” of sabotage against Iran’s genocidal program, extrapolated within – As such, “this and that” has been going boom in the night. Of course, no one directly takes credit, though certain hints have been dropped. Therefore, the latest from DEBKAfile Intelligence is more than noteworthy.

‘Iranian-Hizballah convoy blown up on Syrian Golan. Border tensions shoot up’

DEBKAfile Special Report January 26, 2013,

Syrian Golan site of twin bombing
Syrian Golan site of twin bombing

At least eight officers were killed in a mysterious twin-car bomb explosion Friday, Jan. 25 at Syrian regional intelligence headquarters in Quneitra on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights. Some of the fatalities were Syrian, but Western intelligence sources disclosed to DEBKAfilethat most were high-ranking Iranian Al Qods Brigades and Hizballah officers. The blasts sent tensions shooting up on the Israeli and Jordanian borders with Syria.  Israeli, Jordanian and US Special Forces posted in the kingdom went on high alert. Heavy Syrian reinforcements were seen streaming toward the two borders.
Syrian regime sources said the explosive devices were attached to the intelligence command building’s outer walls. But the Western sources report that two large bomb cars were lying in wait on both sides of the road leading to the Syrian HQ and were detonated as the two-car convoy of Iranian and Hizballah officers drove by. There were no survivors.
Those sources also refute reports that the al-Qaeda linked Jabhat al-Nusrah fighting with the Syrian rebels claimed responsibility for the attack. This was a rare occasion when no Syrian opposition group issued any statement at all, they said. The speed with which Syrian army helicopters flew in to remove the casualties indicated their high rank.

In the view of a Jordanian military source, this attack by an unknown hand has delayed Bashar Assad’s advanced preparations for an all-out armored offensive to finally crush the revolt against his regime. His first targets were to have been the rebel-held villages along the Israeli and Jordanian borders.
The Syrian ruler was working to a plan of operations his generals had drawn up with Iranian Al Qods Brigades strategists.

Saturday, Ali Akbar Velayati, an aide to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned that Iran would consider any attack on Syria an attack on itself: “Syria has a very basic and key role in the region for promoting firm policies of resistance [against Israel]… For this reason an attack on Syria would be considered an attack on Iran and Iran’s allies.”
Meanwhile in Iran itself, the Fordo underground uranium enrichment plant was again reported targeted for sabotage, according to an unconfirmed report published by Reza Kahlil, who is described as a former Iranian Revolutionary Guards officer who worked under cover as a double agent for the CIA until he escaped to the United States.

Kahlil reported that at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21, the day before Israel’s general elections, a large explosion occurred 100 meters deep inside the underground plant, trapping 240 nuclear staff in the third centrifuge chamber.  Among them, he said, were Iranian and Ukrainian technicians.
There was no information about casualties or the extent of damage to the 2,700 centrifuges which have been turning out 20-percent enriched uranium.

Khalil cited his source as Hamidreza Zakeri, a former Iranian Intelligence Ministry agent, who said the regime believes the blast was sabotage and the explosives could have reached the area disguised by the CIA as equipment imported for the site or defective machinery.

None of the information about an explosion at Fordo has been verified either by US officials or regime sources in Tehran.
Thursday, Jan. 24, Israel’s Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and Military Intelligence Director Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi ceremonially promoted Col. G., commander of the elite Sayeret Matkal, to the rank of major general in recognition of his unit’s “outstanding covert operations.”

And the plot thickens, as news of Fordo’s booms reverberate around the world –

Islamic regime scrambles as news of explosion catches fire worldwide

News of an explosion at one of Iran’s nuclear facilities – broken exclusively by WND – is exploding around the world, with independent confirmation and international response pouring in.

Israeli intelligence officials have confirmed the explosion to the Times of London, which is now reporting: “Sources in Tel Aviv said yesterday that they thought the explosion happened last week. The Israeli Government is investigating reports that it led to extensive structural damage and 200 workers had been trapped inside.

“Israel believes the Iranians have not evacuated the surrounding area. It is unclear whether that is because no harmful substances have been released, or because Tehran is trying to avoid sparking panic among residents.” Also on Sunday, Israel’s acting defense minister called the news “welcome,” and a German newspaper said its own source in Tehran confirmed the report, even while Iran is trying to keep the news under wraps. WND’s exclusive report revealed an explosion last Monday deep within Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility destroyed much of the installation, trapping scores of people, including scientists and workers, many of whom are foreign workers. According to a member of the security forces at the site, both elevators and the emergency exit had collapsed, and the regime fears loss of lives due to possible radiation after the explosion. The information comes through Hamidreza Zakeri, a former member of the regime. The Iranian regime further believes the blast was sabotage and the explosives could have reached the area disguised as equipment or in the uranium hexafluoride stock transferred to the site, the source said. The explosion occurred at the third centrifuge chambers, with the high-grade enriched uranium reserves below them.

At midnight Sunday, Tehran time, however, all regime-controlled media published a two-line announcement by the deputy of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Shamsoldin Berberoodi, that no explosion had taken place at Fordow. Iran does not want word of the sabotage to leak out because it would badly damage its negotiating position in talks with the 5+1 (the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany), WND’s source said. Indeed, the two-line announcement said the reports of the explosion are meant to bring pressure on Iran at the talks.

The regime’s defense ministry, which runs the country’s nuclear program, has dispatched the drill team from the Revolutionary Guards Khatam al-Anbia base to the site, the source said, but as of today no progress had been made to reach those trapped within. According to the source, the regime has enforced a total blackout on the media and the families of the employees who work at the site. The security forces have also created a security zone around the site to control access and manage the rescue efforts.

The source said the regime’s security forces have attacked many moderate media offices, shutting down their activity and Internet sites. There is no information if these attacks were related to the Fordow explosion. The site, which is about 300 feet under a mountain and immune to airstrikes and most bunker-buster bombs, is the Islamic regime’s main site, with its more than 2,700 centrifuges to enrich uranium to the 20 percent level, raising international concern about Iran’s nuclear bomb program.

WND’s Jan. 24 report on the sabotage was covered internationally on Sunday with Israeli Acting Defense Minister Avi Dichter stating that, “Any explosion in Iran that doesn’t hurt people but hurts its assets is welcome.” Israel’s biggest daily, Yediot Ahronot, led its Sunday paper with a headline: “The most significant incidence of sabotage in the Iranian nuclear program to date.”

As reported by Globes Online out of Israel, “Yediot Ahronot cites U.S. conservative website ‘WND’ as reporting … that former Iranian Republican Guard commander Reza Kahlili, recruited by the CIA and who defected to the U.S., claimed that Iranian sources reported a huge explosion last Monday at Fordow’s centrifuges room. They claim that the explosion destroyed a significant portion of the facility and that 240 workers were trapped underground.”

The Jerusalem Post mentioned WND’s report and added a quote from Emily Landau, director of the Arms Control and Regional Security Project at the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies, who noted that Iran is enriching uranium to 20 percent at Fordow, “and it raises concerns because it is buried deep in a mountain.”

Germany’s Die Welt published the report with a headline, “Expert reports severe explosion at nuclear plant.”

“According to a report by Iran expert Reza Kahlili on the Iranian nuclear facility of Fordow, a few days ago a huge explosion took place which destroyed large parts of the plant,” Die Welt said. “Kahlili says he got this information from a former Iranian intelligence official.”

Die Welt, with sources close to the German intelligence agency BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst), corroborated the WND report by stating that now, Welt am Sonntag (a well-respected German Sunday newspaper) “has received information from an Iranian intelligence service contact confirming that the explosion had actually happened and that 190 workers at the nuclear plant were cut off from the outside world.”

The German newspaper Spiegel also gave big coverage to the story, along with others worldwide.

Interestingly, the Israeli DEBKAfile, known to be close to Israeli intelligence in covering the WND story, stated that on Jan. 24, Israeli Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and Military Intelligence Director Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi ceremonially promoted “Col. G.,” commander of the elite Sayeret Matkal, to the rank of major general in recognition of his unit’s “outstanding covert operations.”

As reported Jan. 21, also exclusively on WND, the Iranian regime’s intelligence ministry had received information from an alleged spy planted inside Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, that Israel and certain Western countries, quite aware of Iran’s nuclear bomb program and believing time is of the essence, have drawn up plans for covert operations to destroy Iran’s nuclear installations, thereby avoiding a large-scale war.

Regime officials held two high-level meetings on Tuesday afternoon, one at the presidential building and the other at the supreme leader’s residence. The source for this information could only say that all high-level officials participated in the meeting with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and that it lasted till about 9:30 p.m. Tehran time.

Several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated in recent years, and last year saboteurs struck the power supply to the Fordow facility, temporarily disrupting production. A computer worm called Stuxnet, believed to have originated in the United States, also set Iran’s plans for nuclear weapons back substantially.

Any blow to the Fordow facility would be a huge blow to the regime because, despite severe international pressure and sanctions, it has refused to halt the 20 percent uranium-enrichment process at this site. It takes only weeks to further enrich the stock at the 20 percent level to weapon grade for a nuclear bomb.

Sources in the Islamic regime previously have revealed exclusively to WND the existence of:

UPDATE: New details surface on Fordow explosion…North Koreans/officers trapped as well –

NEVERTHELESS, while any damage to Iran’s killing machine is a blessed event (westerners owe a lifetime debt of gratitude to Israel’s special forces), the fact of the matter is that PM Netanyahu has been clearly following the Islamist-in-Chief’s lead, regarding the most existential peril to half of world Jewry.

In other words, booms in the night are approved, but all out assault isn’t. The bigger/overall/existential question is: what kind of Jewish leadership leaves the fate of its nation to another power, albeit a super power, but most essentially to one which is led by such a radical, Islamist-leaning POTUS?

We can debate, until the cows come home, how essential a good relationship  with Washington is. Well and good. But we dare not blind ourselves to reality on the ground. Simply put:

Hillel says, “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I? If not now, when?” Ethics of the Fathers, 1:14

Presenting, PART TWO: A Strategic-Based Policy Interview With Dr. Martin Sherman, Founder Of The Israel Institute For Strategic Studies (IISS)…By Adina Kutnicki

As promised, the following is Part Two to a very well received maiden interview with Dr. Martin Sherman, Israel’s foremost strategic policy analyst – Part One can be found here –

Without further ado, presenting,

AK: In the first portion of this interview, you made the point that the major problems/challenges facing Israel today should be characterized more as an interfacing and interacting complex, rather than an “itemized” list of discrete and disconnected topics. However, it you had to prioritize the severity or urgency of those problems/challenges, how would you approach the question?

MS: Without a doubt, Israel’s greatest strategic challenge, its gravest strategic failure and its grimmest strategic danger is the (mis)conduct of its public diplomacy.

In this regard, I endorse entirely the grave warning conveyed by Professor Eitan GIlboa in a 2006 article entitled “Public Diplomacy: The Missing Component in Israel’s Foreign Policy”:

The lack of an adequate PD programme has significantly affected Israel’s strategic outlook and freedom of action…. Any further neglect of PD would not only restrict Israel’s strategic options, it would be detrimental to its ability to survive…

Gilboa is quite right. In an era of unprecedented power and influence held by the media, it is difficult to overstate the strategic importance of diplomacy (particularly public diplomacy) and public relations. These are circumstances that call for a far-reaching change in Israel’s approach to diplomacy – and the resources allocated to it. In fact, the role of diplomacy is in many ways similar to that of the air force – and should be treated accordingly. For just as the classic role of the air force is to provide the ground forces the necessary freedom of action they require to attain their objectives, so the classic role of diplomacy is to provide national policy makers the freedom of action they require to attain the objectives of that policy.

AK: I understand that you feel that this is something not grasped by Israeli officialdom?

MS: Definitely not. The attitude of Israeli officialdom towards diplomacy (especially public diplomacy and public relations) does not reflect an appropriate awareness of their importance – as is revealed by the minimal scope of resources allocated for this purpose.

After all, one of the most revealing criteria regarding the importance an organization assigns a given activity is the amount of resources it allots for the conduct of that activity. In Israel, the resources allocated for the conduct of its public diplomacy efforts are – by any standard – ridiculously small.

The following description by outgoing MK Michael Eitan at a joint session of the Knesset Science and Technology and the Foreign Affairs and Defense committees underscores the point vividly:

It is horrifying to hear that the advertising budget for the [popular peanut] snack “Bamba” is two to three times the overall PR [hasbara] budget of the state… the outcomes of the war on the media front directly influence the outcomes of the battles at the front line.

So Israel spends – literally–less than a medium-large size corporation spends on promoting fast foods and snacks on conveying its message to the world. There is thus little reason to believe that the message will be successfully conveyed. The connection between diplomacy and public relations, and the ability to wage war on the battlefield, is abundantly clear. Without the removal of political restraints – whether in fact real or merely perceived – on the use of Israel’s military power to safeguard its vital interests, its theoretical martial might is meaningless. After all, what is the value of even the most advanced weaponry, if the nation’s leaders believe it cannot be used because of political constraints?

This was recently expressed in Jerusalem Post opinion piece by Shmuley Boetach, in which he correctly noted:

What good is having Apache helicopter gunships, or Merkava tanks, to defend your citizens against attack if you can’t even use them because the world thinks you’re always the aggressor?

Over 200 years ago, Frederick the Great, who reigned as king of Prussia 1740-1786 reportedly stated that “Diplomacy without arms is like music without instruments.” Over time his relationship has been entirely reversed and today it is true to say that :”Arms without diplomacy is like music without instruments”.

According, diplomacy – particularly public diplomacy – constitutes a strategic instrument of primary importance and should be treated as such.

AK: Perhaps it is a result of lack of sufficient financial resources?

MS: Regrettably, this “thrift” is not dictated by a lack of resources. After all, whenever Israel has desired to achieve a non-budgeted objective, money has rarely been an obstacle.

When billions of shekels were needed for the construction of the separation barrier, that was no problem; when billions of dollars were needed for the Gaza “disengagement”, that was no problem either. Likewise, the tens of billions of dollars required for the planned “convergence” (i.e. withdrawal) from Judea and Samaria were not considered an insurmountable obstacle—even though it was clear the money was not coming from the American taxpayer.

Currently, Israel’s GDP is around a quarter trillion dollars. If even a small fraction of one percent of GDP was devoted to public diplomacy, this would generate a budget of one billion dollars—rather than the paltry sums provided today.

But if this seems excessive to some – consider what could be achieved by a massive   $100 million public diplomacy drive that focused merely on the Hillel (Jewish student) branches across US campuses.

AK: But is it merely a quantitative problem that can be addressed by allotting more resources, or is the malaise more profound?

You are right. Regrettably, in Israel there seems to be serious (mis)comprehensions as to the role and purpose of diplomacy. It must be addressed without delay.

AK: What do you mean?

Instead of diplomacy being seen as a means to help remove obstacles impeding the attainment of national objectives, the diplomatic obstacles have become the point of departure from which the national objectives are derived. Thus, a situation has been created where the relationship between the “dependent variable” and the “independent variable” has been inverted. Rather than Israeli national policy makers viewing diplomacy as an instrument at their disposal to enable them to achieve the goals of their chosen policy, diplomatic difficulties themselves have become the factors that dictate the goals chosen by the policy makers.

The first step in transforming Israeli diplomacy into the strategic resource that it should be is to comprehend this conceptual distortion and to rectify it.

AK: What would this entail?

Perhaps the most important transformation requires its removal from a largely defensive roll – with the emphasis on trying to rebut accusations against Israel – to a more offensive and aggressive mode of public diplomacy. After all, ever since Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War”, written about two and a half millennium ago, it has been widely accepted that “the ability to defeat the enemy means taking the offensive….Standing on the defensive indicates insufficient strength”.

So it should be, in effect, diplomatic warfare – which should be guided by the traditional Zionist doctrine of warfare – i.e. of bringing the battle to the enemy’s territory.

Accordingly, such offensive diplomatic measures should not, however, be confined to refuting false accusations against Israel that it is an “apartheid state” that conducts a harsh policy of racial discrimination, and which inflicts untold harm on its international image.

Together with an assertive and self-confident presentation of Israel as a tolerant, open pluralistic society, in which both dark-skinned and light-skinned individuals are accorded identical civil rights, in which non-Jews (including Arabs) hold senior positions in the government, the parliament, the police, the judiciary, the military and the public service, resolute attacks against the blatant deceit and hypocrisy of Israel’s critics must also be mounted. It should also strive vigorously to highlight the cruel and discriminatory nature of the regimes and the societies of many of Israel’s detractors.

AK: What would this include?

This diplomatic counter-offensive should focus world attention on, and raise international consciousness to, the fact that it is actually Israel’s most vehement accusers who comprise a huge “apartheid empire”, in which they practice, as a matter of everyday routine, brutal and widespread discrimination – including the malicious oppression of women (gender apartheid); the vicious persecution of virtually all non-Muslim religions (creed apartheid); and the ruthless hounding of homosexuals (gay apartheid). This calls for an aggressive and ongoing public relations drive aimed at emphasizing, exposing, and sharpening international awareness to the fact that these brutal iniquities are the hallmarks of Israel’s foes in the region.

AK: Some (leftists) would protest that these kind of attacks are too harsh to be conducted by Israeli official organs?

It is true that some of the “inconvenient truths” that need to be conveyed could be considered inappropriately brusque and abrasive to be administered by the official organs of state. To circumvent this difficulty, a complex of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should be established which can articulate positions, propose policies and formulate paradigms. These NGO’s need not comply with the niceties that bind the conduct of official organs of state.

To a large degree, this is what the Israeli left has done very effectively through organizations such as the New Israel Fund, J-Street and Peace Now, which were the vanguard in successfully promoting policies that were considered too radical or controversial for the political establishment to endorse initially – such as the Oslo process, recognition of the PLO, and the acceptance of a Palestinian state.

AK: So how would you suggest addressing the Palestinian issue in the context of what you have just said?

The Palestinian issue is the overwhelmingly dominant source of the de-legitimization of Israel. Unless this issue is addressed, there will be little chance of stemming the ongoing deterioration of Israel’s international standing.

AK: Substantively what does this mean?

The first and most crucial issue to grasp is that if the Palestinian narrative – which portrays the Palestinians as an authentic national entity – is acknowledged as legitimate, then all the aspirations, such as achieving Palestinians statehood that arise from that narrative, are legitimate.

Conversely, any policy that precludes the achievement of those aspirations will be perceived as illegitimate. But—in the absence of wildly optimistic and hence irresponsibly unrealistic “best-case” assumptions—any policy that is designed to secure Israel’s minimal security requirements, will preclude the establishment of a viable Palestinian state. Accordingly, any endeavor to realistically provide Israel with minimal security will be perceived as illegitimate. The inevitable conclusion must therefore be for Israel to secure conditions that adequately address its minimal security requirements, the Palestinian narrative and the aspirations that flow from it must be delegitimized.

AK: Delegitimize the Palestinian narrative? How?

An elaboration of the full range of operational details—some of which I have detailed in my weekly Jerusalem Post column,”Into The Fray”—clearly goes beyond the bounds of an interview such as this. But the endeavor must be based on the same offensive principle we discussed in Part One—and abandon collaborating with the fiction of portraying the Palestinians—or at least a major portion of their leaders–as pragmatic moderates.

Clearly, if you present the Palestinians as being not really different from the folks in Manhattan or Orange County, no-one will understand why Israel needs the measures it needs to preserve its security. But if you present the Palestinian society as it really is – a cruel, brutal society that suppresses its women; oppresses its homosexuals; represses its political dissidents; a society that if it does not legally permit, at least socially condones the honor killing of young women, the brutalization of political rivals, and summary execution of gays, if you present the Palestinians as such, it makes no sense to bring such a state to the perimeter of your only international airport and to the length of the trans-Israel highway.

To put it metaphorically, if Israel persists in portraying the Palestinian’s as cuddly poodles, rather than vicious Rottweiler, no-one will understand why it needs Rottweiler policies to contend with poodles

AK: But given the international climate can you see why the government is loath to do this?

Yes – but this is precisely why it needs a well-funded, assertive and articulate ex-governmental system, discussed previously, to initiate this kind of discourse – both domestically and abroad.

This is precisely the kind of enterprise I am trying to spearhead with my Israel Institute for Strategic Studies.

AK: Most especially, once again, thank you for your invaluable insights. You offer enlightening, targeted, incisive lessons in the “art” of geo-politics. They include trenchant strategic prescriptions, outlined for the most imperiled nation in the world; a speck on the map, yet a never ending obsession with the world’s leadership.

The Radical-in-Chief’s Sell Off – Literally – To Communist China…Bargain Basement Prices…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Fiscal irresponsibility via profligate spending resulted in astronomical debt, a hallmark of Washington for decades. However, its out-sized scope reached endemic proportions under the reign of the Radical-in-Chief. Accumulated statistics from non-partisan arenas support this fact. Said numbers are not fungible, regardless how many ways Obama and gang “fudge the math” – fuzzy-like. Garbage in, garbage out.

But none of their reprehensible actions are done in a vacuum. They are designed to bring America to its (economic) knees, as conceived by a cadre of power hungry leftists and their surrogates. While they impoverish the nation they enrich themselves. Al Gore is one such radical leftist, also deeply enmeshed with Islamic overlords – . In this regard, as long as America goes down in flames, the radical left and Islamic supremacists are pleased to join hands- an alliance of twin devils.

None of the above should shock anyone, except those who are in clinical comas. Most especially, this blog’s readership have been duly apprised, often seeming like a broken record. There is a reason for their “madness”. A method too.

The Commander-in-Chief’s economic devastation – one part of the “deconstruction” – is self evident throughout these links –… enough to make a patriot see red and rise up in the process. Who gave them the right to destroy America, a nation fought for with the blood of its citizens! But their treachery is much worse.

‘The Darkest Design of Barack Obama
’, Erik Rush, January 19, 2013

“American people are being positioned to suffer most due to the accumulation of debt that irresponsible government officials racked up

For some time, there have been unsubstantiated reports of the Obama administration engaging in clandestine negotiations with China toward satisfying America’s debt to that nation via exchanges of land and resources. Such an arrangement would be illegal and treasonous of course, but given its deportment to date, that would not likely deter this administration.

This week, I presented substantiation to the aforementioned reports, much to the fear and consternation of most people who became apprised of this phenomenon. Referencing sources that have proven reliable in the past, I cited such things as Chinese military operatives engaging in clandestine “research” within U.S. borders, and assessments of land and resources having been conducted by China in recent years, all with the administration’s approval. Also, in the face of having trillions of dollars in debt called by China, and the economic catastrophe that would ensue, it is entirely possible that Obama might request and be granted some manner of dispensation from Congress to legitimize this pact.

All of this falls well within the parameters of Barack Obama’s long-standing desire to bring America down, as it were, punishing the American people for centuries of enjoying the spoils of imperialism, colonialism, and oppression, as well as finally bringing this nation under the heel of communism.

We’re aware that liberal politicians have treated communist China with a marked naïveté going back to the Clinton administration, allowing them inordinate incursion into our ports and commercial infrastructure, and that Obama has been singing China’s praises with regard to their infrastructure and growth since 2008. In 2011, Republican lawmakers voiced concern that the Obama administration was allowing high-ranking Chinese military officials access to sensitive U.S. military installations. It also explains maneuvers that have taken place over the past few years relative to this administration. Given the economic circumstances in which America found itself when Obama took office, many were horrified at his spending $5 trillion during his first term, and decisions that resulted in America’s debt increasing by approximately $10 trillion. Given his objectives, however, what better way to bring about increasing debt pressure than by more spending?

Thus – which came as an outrage, but no surprise to many – it is the Chinese government that is lobbying Obama to disarm the American public. They foresee a time when there will be widespread anger against them for their role in this obscene arrangement, and would rather not have to militarily engage armed Americans over land or resources that they will control, some of which is in America’s heartland. Some perceive Obama’s spirited pursuit of gun control after the Sandy Hook massacre as typical knee-jerk liberal opportunism, but it is far more than that.

As reported previously in this space, despite Obama’s affinity for communism and show of solidarity with the world’s leftists, the Chinese government thinks him a fool, yet they are more than happy to expand their global influence at our expense.

There has been a certain amount of backlash from conservatives given Obama’s pretentious and autocratic pursuit of new firearms regulation, and even from some Republican lawmakers. This week, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) claimed that Obama has “drunk the Kool-Aid… he’s high on his own power,” and that he will “pay the political price” for gun control, predicting 2010-style GOP Senate victories in 2014.

Obama’s definitely high on power, but I wouldn’t count on him paying any price for his policy escapades; considering the course America is on at the moment, there may not be a midterm election in 2014 at all. If there is, the leftist juggernaut of a compromised press, political organization, and outright fraud proved in November 2012 that it can prevail over all logic, common sense, and ostensible fail safes within the American electoral system. As the press continues to maintain the illusion that Obama is simply another American trying to do the right thing, he has been involved in the darkest machinations, some as yet incomprehensible to the average American.

It is a sad irony that the American people are being positioned to suffer most due to the accumulation of debt that irresponsible (and some outright treasonous) government officials racked up in the first place, but such is the lot of those who are ruled rather than governed.”

There is nothing which Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s revolutionary regime believes is off limits. From American’s right to bear arms, to the destruction of the economy – and everything else in between – little is outside their grip, or so they think.

In fact, George – the devil incarnate – Soros bought the Dem Party lock, stock and barrel and now OWNS the White House. Yes, he does. One of his main henchmen, Erik Smith, will be the Radical-in-Chief’s Chief of Staff! Therefore, whatever Georgie boy wants will be his for the taking – He is the puppeteer.

With the above anti-American globalists in place, China is grabbing up more than America’s real estate, yet few have a clue. And this is just the beginning.Time to catch up to speed.

Benghazigate & Its Multi-Faceted Cover Up: Hillary FINALLY Testifies…Raising More Questions Than Answers…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

FAR be if for this blogger to indulge in conspiracy theories. There are more than enough real horrors to deal with, hardly necessitating an imaginary bugaboo. Besides, rational thought processes hold sway. Fanciful, magical thinking play no part. Never gonna happen on this end.

That being said, it behooves many to veer outside their comfort zones, thus, placing themselves deep within the leadership’s lying shoes. They tell tall tales just as reflexively as they breathe. That easily. So when nothing being presented makes sense (unless one is missing half a deck), and smoke is billowing before you, it is wholly rational to sift fact from fiction and dig beneath the murky surface.

From the onset, this is precisely what has taken place, at least at this blog. Up until Hill’s non-transparent testimony the trail ended here –…but continues below, as one attempts to peel back the layers of lies. Onion-like.

Before getting to the heart of the matter, please review a similarly posited theory presented herein, as the Blind terror Sheik was featured as a likely goal post for the mayhem in Libya, directly leading to Benghazigate. Think of it as a gift from the Islamist-in-Chief to his Muslim Mafia Brothers, though other regional factors were in play. A real “go to” guy –

JANUARY 23, 2013 BY
“Hillary Clinton was on the Hill this morning, four months after the Benghazi consulate attack; Congress is still trying to find out what happened on September 11, 2011.

Obama vowed to get to the bottom of it; but instead, we got “Pin the tail on the anti-Muslim YouTube video” and a “Benghazi Accountability Report” authored by Islamic apologist Thomas R. Pickering that didn’t actually find anyone accountable.

The whole business stinks of a cover-up. And cover-ups give rise to conspiracy theories.

Enter the “conspiracy theory” that the attack on the Benghazi consulate was an Obama-orchestrated “October Surprise” to kidnap ambassador Chris Stevens and trade him to the Muslim Brotherhood for the Blind Sheikh and prop up his dismal 43% approval rating by acting the hero.

Except a retired four-star Admiral says this is exactly what happened:

The Washington Examiner, quoting retired Four-Star Admiral James Lyons, writes: “the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi…was the result of a bungled abduction attempt…the first stage of an international prisoner exchange…that would have ensured the release of Omar Abdel Rahman, the ‘Blind Sheik’…

Enter the Algerian hostage crisis. Again, the Blind Sheikh enters the picture. Again, the kidnapping operation hits a snag. Again, the militants seem to have inside knowledge of the facility. The militants, headed by the al-Qaeda-linked “holy warrior” Mokhtar Belmokhtar, demand the release of the Blind Sheikh in exchange for the Americans being held. And again, there is a massacre.

Except this time, instead of four Americans dying, everyone dies (hostages and militants, eighty-one at last count), mowed down by a fleet of Algerian military helicopters.

And lo and behold, among the dead bodies, among the militants reportedly heading the mission are several blond-haired, blue-eyed westerners.

America, Obama is in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama is in bed with terrorists. Obama is in bed with the enemy.

When exactly America will wake up to this fact, however, remains to be seen.”

And for those who require additional insights, take a peek within –

“To better help Americans determine to what extent Mrs. Clinton’s testimony is truthful, has compiled a comprehensive report and timeline that lays out all the most significant events that occurred before, during, and after September 11.

In this report, you learn that in March 2011, American diplomat Christopher Stevens was stationed in Benghazi as the American liaison to Libya’s “opposition” rebels — among whom were many al Qaeda-affiliated jihadists – who were fighting to topple the longstanding regime of President Muammar Qaddafi. In short, the Obama administration elected to support individuals and groups that were allied ideologically and tactically with al Qaeda…..” –

Aaron Klein skewers Hill too – ….and no one who knows the score could conceivably argue that he doesn’t know his way around terror nests – A slam dunk indictment.

EVEN the Jerusalem Post is seeing through Clinton’s gobblygook, and this is no small feat for a media outlet which has been turning leftward for quite some time –

DESPITE all the above, it remains to be seen whether Conservative American activists are outraged enough to hold their RINO reps accountable, thereby, resulting in actionable punishment. Perhaps utilizing Watergate (a kindergarten prank in comparison to Benghazigate) as a benchmark investigation but upping the ante, the criminals running Benghazigate (from their cushy confines in Washington) will finally receive the sentences they deserve.

Most significantly, this theater of the absurd – which passes as hearings on the Hill – will become more than a laughingstock if they do not mete out justice for the dead and their loved ones. For Americans as well. There is (or at least should be) only so much patriotic citizens are willing to tolerate.
