THE saying, slitting ones own throat, takes on ever more ominous meaning when juxtaposed against its actual truth. Golem–like.

NON-Muslims (aside from revolutionary aligned westerners) are watching, in horror, as their way of life is in the cross hairs, not just from Islamic supremacists but from leftist leaders who fail to protect them. How can this be happening? “It be”.

WHILE Euro leaders have been flooding their borders with Muslim immigrants for decades, the fact of the matter is that Eurabia has finally subsumed Europe. Period. Moreover, this was not by default but by design. In reality, two truth-tellers foretold the current disaster, yet most preferred to close their eyes and ears to their “prophesy”. 

YES, leave it to two non-intimidated females (not the leftist femi-nazi kind!) to emit the clarion calls. Bat Ye’or wrote seminal works on the subject matter, starting back in the early 1990’s. She has been (tragically) spot on. Following in her footsteps, the late Oriana Fallaci more than hit the mark.

In ‘The Force of Reason’, the controversial Italian journalist and novelist Oriana Fallaci illuminates one of the central enigmas of our time. How did Europe become home to an estimated 20 million Muslims in a mere three decades?

How did Islam go from being a virtual non-factor to a religion that threatens the preeminence of Christianity on the Continent? How could the most popular name for a baby boy in Brussels possibly be Mohammed? Can it really be true that Muslims plan to build a mosque in London that will hold 40,000 people? That Dutch cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam are close to having Muslim majorities? How was Europe, which was saved by the U.S. in world wars I and II, and whose Muslim Bosnians were rescued by the U.S. as recently as 1999, transformed into a place in which, as Fallaci puts it, “if I hate Americans I go to Heaven and if I hate Muslims I go to Hell?”

In attempting to answer these questions, the author, who is stricken with cancer and has been hounded by death threats and charges of “Islamophobia” (she is due to go on trial in France this June), has combined history with snatches of riveting firsthand reportage into a form that reads like a real-life conspiracy thriller.

If The Force of Reason sells a lot of copies, which it almost certainly will (800,000 were sold in Italy alone, and the book is in the top 100 on Amazon ), it will be not only because of the heat generated by her topic, but also because Fallaci speaks for the ordinary reader. There is no one she despises more than the intellectual “cicadas,” as she calls them — “You see them every day on television; you read them every day in the newspapers” — who deny they are in the midst of a cultural, political and existential war with Islam, of which terrorism is the flashiest, but ultimately least important component. Nonetheless, to give the reader a taste of what Muslim conquest can be like, in her first chapter, Fallaci provides a brief tour of the religion’s bloodiest imperial episodes and later does an amusing job of debunking some of its more exaggerated claims to cultural and scientific greatness.

The book is also animated by a world-class journalist’s dismay that she could have missed the story of her lifetime for as long as she did. In the 1960s and ’70s, when she was a Vietnam War correspondent and a legendarily ferocious interviewer — going mano a mano with the likes of Henry Kissinger and Yasser Arafat, Fallaci was simply too preoccupied with the events of the moment to notice that an entirely different narrative was rapidly taking shape — namely, the transformation of the West. There were clues, certainly. As when, in 1972, she interviewed the Palestinian terrorist George Habash, who told her (while a bodyguard aimed a submachine gun at her head) that the Palestinian problem was about far more than Israel. The Arab goal, Habash declared, was to wage war “against Europe and America” and to ensure that henceforth “there would be no peace for the West.” The Arabs, he informed her, would “advance step by step. Millimeter by millimeter. Year after year. Decade after decade. Determined, stubborn, patient. This is our strategy. A strategy that we shall expand throughout the whole planet.”

Fallaci thought he was referring simply to terrorism. Only later did she realize that he “also meant the cultural war, the demographic war, the religious war waged by stealing a country from its citizens … In short, the war waged through immigration, fertility, presumed pluriculturalism.” It is a low-level but deadly war that extends across the planet, as any newspaper reader can see.

Fallaci is not the first person to ponder the rapidity of the ongoing Muslim transformation of Europe. As the English travel writer Jonathan Raban wrote in Arabia: A Journey Through the Labyrinth (1979), in the mid-1970s Arabs seemed to arrive in London almost overnight. “One day Arabs were a remote people … camping out in tents with camels … the next, they were neighbors.” On the streets of West London appeared black-clad women adorned with beaked masks that made them look “like hooded falcons.” Dressed for the desert (and walking precisely four steps ahead of the women), Arab men bestrode the sidewalks “like a crew of escaped film extras, their headdresses aswirl on the wind of exhaust fumes….”

BUT to comprehend how it all got started a historical lesson is in order, and it goes back to a particular press conference, though few understood it for what it was at the time:

In a November 27, 1967 press conference, Charles de Gaulle stated openly that French cooperation with the Arab world had become “the fundamental basis of our foreign policy.” By January 1969, the Second International Conference in Support of the Arab Peoples, held in Cairo, in its resolution 15, decided “…to form special parliamentary groups, where they did not exist, and to use the parliamentary platform support of the Arab people and the Palestinian resistance.” Five years later in Paris, July 1974, the Parliamentary Association for Euro-Arab Cooperation was created, under the Euro-Arab Dialogue rubric…..

FAST forward to today’s thesis and it is accurate to state: the west is literally ! funding jihad through its non-stop welfare benefits. More specifically, taxpayers are footing the bill to pay for acts of terror against themselves and fellow citizens, as Muslim immigrants feed at the gov’t trough and no one takes a stand against them. How many know this?

WHILE America’s out of control welfare system subsidizes Muslim clans who overwhelm entire cities (even outpacing the actual count of native citizens in real numbers), no one seems to find this worthy of protest. Why?

The Jamestown Sun reports that 400 Somalis have applied for public housing in the past four months. The Somali immigrants in Garden City, Kansas and nearby small towns have created the Somali Community Center of Southwest Kansas in order to tap into public welfare programs. Within this section of the heartland, white Christians have become the minority.

In East San Diego, the newly arrived Somalis have created a Little Mogadishu. The streets are lined with Somali stores, shops, and mosques. In the midst of this ethnic enclave stands the Iftin Charter School, where K-8 students are introduced to Arabic. 99% of the student population is Somali; Arabs constitute the remaining 1%.

The American Somalis now display the highest unemployment and poverty rates in the country. They also remain the least educated. According to Andrew Liepman, the deputy director of intelligence at the National Counterterrorism Center, Somali-Americans face “greater insularity compared to other, more integrated Muslim immigrant communities, [which] has aggravated the challenge of assimilation for their children.”

This problem is crystallized by the present situation is Lewiston, Maine, where African Muslims, many from the Bantu tribe, began arriving in 2001 at the rate of 100 a month.

Mohammed Maye, the president of the African Community and Refugee Center in Clarkston, Georgia posted a map of Lewiston on the wall of his office. “Go to Maine,” he advised the Somali immigrants. Abdullahi Abdullahi, the president of the Somali Community Development Organization in Clarkston, upheld this advice by telling his fellow countrymen that, unlike Georgia, Maine has terribly cold winters, but “the welfare system is better.”

Lewiston, indeed, was better. The small town in Maine with a population of 30,000 provided welfare to anyone in need, with the state picking up half the tab. Recipients, including the Muslim refugees, were allowed a generous five years of assistance before their benefits became terminated, and extensions for several additional years on the public dole were not difficult to obtain. Single parents could stay on welfare and go to college.

Public housing was also available, although, with the influx of Somalis, the housing projects became packed to capacity. Many of the new project dwellers were single Somali mothers with large broods of children. Those who are unable to obtain public housing were handed Section 8 vouchers, which the federal government provided to subsidize their rent in private apartments. The northern city with its frigid climate became welfare heaven for the arrivals from the vast desert areas of northern Africa.

The newcomers have shown scant interest in securing employment. When Renee Bernier, the president of the Lewiston city council, offered to hire 30 Somalis at the rate of $8 to $10 an hour to hold warning signs at construction sites, few displayed interest. The handful, who did apply, said that they were only willing to work between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Somali population of Lewiston now exceeds 40,000!

ASIDE from the above descriptors via Oriana Fallaci, take a peek at what is happening in little ole’ Denmark. Its supine gov’t is subsidizing Danish citizens, who have become ISIS terrorists – with unemployment and other benefits – while they fight in the Mid East! Is there no end to the madness? 

NOT only that, Israel’s leaders are even more insane, if you dare imagine.

THUS, it is intrinsic to bear the following uppermost in mind: it is hardly a secret that Islamic terrorists/supremacists have been targeting Israel in a religious war for countless decades – even before 1948 – although it is framed as a war over territory for political objectives. Bull sh-t. Let’s leave said egregious subject matter for another discussion.

BE that as it may, few can rationally argue that ceasing payments from flowing into the bank account of a terrorist (and their families) should be a top priority for a country’s leadership. Agreed? If you don’t, well, go jump off the nearest cliff…

IN this regard, how other worldy is it to find out that Arab terrorists in Israel receive benefits on TWO ends! One flows from Israel’s own social welfare payment largess, while the other originates from monies handed over by Israel (ostensibly through tax revenue collection, even though Israel is owed millions in unpaid electricity debt etc…a long, twisted saga…) to the PA/Fatah terror junta, which in turn doles out HUGE salaries to PA prisoners incarcerated for crimes/terror against Israeli citizens!

INCONTESTABLY, killing Jews pays big time in Israel. Basically, the fact that the leadership allowed (for decades) such a monstrous situation to develop, attests to the western sickness to placate and appease Islamic jihadists. BOTTOM LINE: this site contends the above is just the tip of western civilization’s descent. Moreover, it is more than likely that said throat slitting, as described in today’s opening thesis, will be looked back upon as the “aha” moment(s).

YES, moments in time whereby future generations will query: how could they have been so blind to squander all the hard-fought gains their predecessors sacrificed to bring freedom, liberty and light to so many millions across the globe? Absolutely, while the leadership were surely to blame, so too were the citizens. For if arising collectively against such treachery was not worthy of their time and effort, then what would have been? 

INDEED, this site goes a step further, glimpsing into the future and blaming this generation of adults: who gave them the right to throw it all away??
