The Passing of A Statesman……What Israel’s Seventh PM, Yitzhak Shamir, Stood For………Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Within today’s morally ambiguous society certain values-as well as words-are deemed out of bounds. Once utilized, its user becomes an outcast within ‘civilized/polite’ society-ethical behavior be damned.

Atop this PC mandated pyramid exists certain lexicon, toxic language which leaders understand relegates them to political purgatory. Chief among them includes verbiage smacking of nationalism and patriotism. To adhere to these moral constructs renders most leaders mute, thus lending themselves incapable of  saying NO – NO to any compromises which infringes upon their nation’s core interests (strategic or otherwise) and integrity.

Hence, the passing of Yitzhak Shamir, Israel’s Prime Minister for two terms (from 1983-1984 and 1986-1992), at the ripe old age of 96, is more than noteworthy. Unlike others, I do not adhere to the notion that all leaders (or for that matter, all people) deserve the same respect. This is nonsense. There is a world apart between those-especially leaders-who conduct themselves as statesmen, as opposed to political whores.

That being said, there is little reason for me to attempt to eulogize the passing of this stalwart patriot, particularly since several others have already done adequate justice to his memory. However, an op-ed by Deputy Speaker of the Knesset MK Danny Danon (himself an outstanding patriot), in tribute to PM Shamir’s passing, is especially noteworthy.

Patriots, wherever you reside, would do well to internalize MK Danon’s message to the public. By choosing leaders who emulate the core ideology of PM Shamir, we may very well help elect those who are both deserving to be called leaders, and will secure our national interests for generations to come. We owe as much to future generations. Simple as that.

Once again, I do not pretend to be a soothsayer-far from it-but I do stake a claim to reality based thinking/analysis. Entitled, ‘Life Sentence Means Until The Next Kidnapping’ it exposes the cruel unvarnished reality behind Israel’s much exhorted strategy of deterrence. Its conclusions are backed up by comprehensive statistics, which flies in the face of the actual underpinnings of strategic deterrence within a western based democracy. The tactics employed by Israel’s leadership renders their strategy moot. A dead letter. In brief, Naomi Chazan, the outgoing President of the radical left ‘New Israel Fund’ could be channeling any functionary (elected or non-elected) from leftist cadres throughout the west, as attested to by her comments upon her retirement, as well as throughout her reign as its President. Her interpretation of democracy parrots the likes of Nancy Pelosi (elected by the people) and Mao swooning Anita Dunn (a non-elected “adviser” to Barack Hussein Obama, himself a dedicated revolutionary Marxist/socialist). This IS the POTUS’s real religion of choice, aside from his visceral inclinations towards Islam.

The article (viewed after my 7/1/12 commentary) supports a primary thesis, that propaganda-laden cliques, plus the twisting of facts into pretzels, is the core component of leftist doublespeak. Without its implementation the left would be deprived of its most potent weapon, thus dying a quick death (let’s help it along….). Orwell said it best, and Goebbels implemented its efficiency. Saul Alinsky, a neurotic little boy became a leftist icon, once he learned the art form outlined by Goebbels.

LESSONS LEARNED: It is a (deadly) mistake to ignore the rabble rousing of those who have the ears of powerful people, as well as the masses. Their co-opting of main power organs leaves the public as veritable hostages, albeit less so with the advent of alternative media. Never forget, words do matter! Just ask the godfather of language bastardization, linguistics Professor Noam Chomsky, MIT’s resident inciter against Israel and the US, and the west in general (adding insult to personal injury, MIT is my son’s alma mater….). Leftist bullying (usually mental, but it crosses into the physical realm too) knows no bounds.(see- http://mail.aol.com/36515-112/aol-6/en-us/Suite.aspx). Their leaders and their shock troops are relentless, merciless and unparalleled in their shamelessness (see here too- http://www.jpost.com/NationalNews/Article.aspx?id=275826). Thereby, the ends always justifies the means, regardless of the cost to human capital.

Their tactics have been honed to an art form, and have evolved over many decades throughout the US, but most especially since the early 1960’s. Israeli leftists are very eager pupils -ape-like- they mimic their US mentors. They also understand the intrinsic value of infiltrating every sphere of public discourse and opinion. In general, leftists leave little to chance, operating faithfully to certain prescribed guidelines, but also ready to pounce when a crisis emerges, whether of the spontaneous, or manufactured variety. Never let a good crisis go to waste, where have we heard that before?

Is it any wonder that “occupy Wall Street” is being played out in Israel, tents and all? The notion that citizens (and even illegals ! ) are entitled to “cradle to the grave” goodies is a centerpiece within the US “social justice” movement, as well as its Israeli cousin. A preposterous notion. How can this be?

Simply put, leftist dogma can leap tall buildings, swim across oceans, and implant its poisonous seeds on the other side of the world. This is a result of the “religious” and fixed component to their ideology. Of course, without the generous assistance of George Soros’s maze-like pyramids-radical revolutionary entities – much less damage would accrue, at least on a global scale. While it is an open secret that his above tentacles are spread out all over the US, so too are they embedded within the Israeli leftist scene – domestic interference, from foreign funded entities, at the highest levels.

Specifically, Stanley Greenberg (a highly paid Democratic operative), in tandem with the radical New Israel Fund, is busy as a beaver, creating mayhem wherever he can, hoping to upend Israel’s economic viability to effectuate leftist political ends. A chief suspect in Israel, within the radical left movement, is Daphne Leef, a paid operative (pretending to be a nobody, someone just outraged over the cost of cottage cheese and apartment rentals. Most perniciously (and of intrinsic importance), the left’s tentacles are burrowed deep within the education system, the media, legal venues, cultural forums, and policy making spheres of government, both in the US and Israel. At the same time, they pretend to take the high road, and insist it is the only moral road to tread. They brook no dissent, yet feign the mantle of liberalism.

Nonetheless, due to the advent of alternative media, their hegemony is slowly coming to a halt. Educating the public on the arsenal utilized by the left, (via emotive, clique-driven propaganda, see -http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/06/review_the_tyranny_of_cliches_how_liberals_cheat_in_the_war_of_ideas.html) has never been more urgent. Freedom loving people must avail themselves of the “new media”, to better discern when smoke is being blown in their face. The left is becoming desperate, but make no mistake, desperate people often become very dangerous. Cornered like rats, they will likely attack anything/anyone standing in their way, as they attempt to grasp onto the levers of various power centers. The unbridled takeover of the US Federal government by committed socialists, Marxists, communists, who behave as if freedom of choice is yesterday’s news, intend to control as much as they can (while they still can), regardless of the people they have to mow down in the process.

The only way to viably organize an effective push back, against committed opponents, is to understand the method to their madness. Doing so requires much more than showing up at a rally; it requires being able to speak their language, knowing how to counter punch effectively, to deconstruct their subliminal messaging and their laser focused precision.

Thus, I can offer no better primer than Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. It is the left’s playbook, their bible of record. Heck, Hillary Clinton wrote her senior college thesis on Alinsky, deifying him in the process! In fact, Obama is so in tune with Alinskyite tactics he uses them chapter and verse. The trick is, you have to understand them (the tactics and ideas) to challenge them.

The main distinction between a statesman and an ordinary leader is the ability to place national (security) interests above personal political ambitions. Geo-politics is the biggest game of high stakes poker, thereby, millions of lives hang in the balance. The decision to protect ones citizens (in the long or short term) can result in placing a leader’s political career in jeopardy.

Many scratch their heads in bewilderment, wondering how Jewish leaders (supposedly known for their smarts) can make so many grave errors in judgment, particularly in the realm of strategic calculations. Specifically, and most recently, the much heralded IDF left most of Hamas’s terror leadership (and many of their foot soldiers too) alive and kicking during Operation Cast Lead. To be sure, the military leadership is subservient to the political leadership, however, it too is infected with personal political aspirations.

At play are two dangerous paradigms, one of which is the IDF doctrine of havlaga, “restraint is strength”, an oxymoron of Orwellian proportions. This doctrine was designed by a leftist professor ( all ‘credit’ due to Professor Asa Kasher, what a shock), which basically attempts to place an otherwise lofty goal-taking the moral high road-juxtaposed against the dynamics of brutal battlefields.

In tandem, Israel’s political leadership basically follows leftist doctrines (my op-ed, ‘The Paradox of Israeli Politics:Vote Right, Get Left’ explains the phenomena http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/06/the_paradox_of_israeli_politics_vote_right_get_left.html ), and in order for a high military leader to transition to political office (upon their retirement) they must prove their leftist bonafides. Hence, their hands are tied into double knots, both by the orders of the political leadership and through their future political ambitions. Restraint becomes a much more appealing/viable option under the above considerations-the path of least resistance. Hmm….

Back to the game of geo-politics. With Egypt’s recent fall to the Islamist Brotherhood, coupled with Hamas-their spawn-ruling Gaza, the above detriments (with a more than willing IDF Chief of Staff in tow, during Operation Cast Lead into Gaza in 2009) exposes what happens when personal ambitions trump national interests. Thursday’s long anticipated Supreme Court ruling, regarding the constitutionality of Obamacare, was unexpected due to the fact that legal scholars, from various sides of the spectrum, viewed it as a violation of the Commerce Clause. Hence, most were shocked at its passing, as were all of this blogger’s (high level) legal contacts.

Not surprisingly, as a matter of judicial record, they were proven correct. In fact, Justice Roberts, in rendering the majority opinion, said as much. However, the Court concluded that Obamacare was not unconstitutional, under the Congress’s purview to levy taxes. And tax they will. Herein lies the rub. While Obama, and his water carriers, insisted (he was caught on video stating as much, emphatically wagging his finger in the process, plus this stellar analysis, by a brilliant federal prosecutor, is a must read – http://pjmedia.com/andrewmccarthy/2012/06/28/obamacare-ruling-pure-fraud-and-no-due-process/) that Obamacare was NOT a tax, the Court upheld it under its banner. Therefore, with four months to go before the most important election of our time, the Republicans (and especially Tea Party activists) have been handed a backwards gift, a silver lining of sorts. They will be able to prove, beyond any legal doubt, two things. Firstly, that Obama outright lied when he vehemently insisted it was not a tax. Secondly, with Obamacare in place, those who can least afford more taxes will now be taxed to the hilt, despite the health care goodies promised.

To make matters even more glaring, with the economy as the number one issue, small business owners, plus others, will have a mega platform to hammer the POTUS. They will opine, and rightfully so, that the insertion of Obamacare will kill business growth, thus killing job growth! Ipso facto, the only way to save the economy-which no one believes is on anything, but life support-is to repeal Obamacare (which the next POTUS can) through voting for Romney.

Most interestingly, no one (yet) other than syndicated radio host Michage Savage (himself a physician) offered this gem to seriously ponder. Justice Roberts suffers from epilepsy, as such, he is on medication to avoid seizures. Why is this important? Medical professionals understand the deleterious side effects of such powerful anti-seizure drugs. Savage further noted that  Roberts has written several opinions which appear muddled.

Perhaps it is time for Romney’s team to look into this area of thinking. Consider: There was never any doubt that the 4 justices to the left of the spectrum were going to grab onto anything, however tenuous, to pass Obamacare, all they needed was their 5th vote. Who is most likely to fit the bill, those whose thinking is not taxed by anti-seizure medications, or the one who is slightly off kilter? Most understand, despite the ideological divisions in the Court-often reported as outright acrimonious – they ultimately protect each other. Their “club” is similar to those who belong to law enforcement. The “blue wall of silence” ensures that secrets within their closed circle stay secret. Same here.

On the face of it, today’s blaring headline ‘Hamas Terror Mastermind Convicted of 46 Murders’, http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/157299#.T-yNorXkCP4 appears as a triumph for Jewish justice. Nevertheless, hold onto your celebratory mood, it is premature to bring out your party hats.

You can be forgiven for thinking that Jewish justice demands that criminals pay for their crimes, let alone multiple heinous murders. Whether Israel’s leadership governs from the left or right, Jewish justice has taken on a new context. To wit, a ‘catch and release’ terror program has become part and parcel of Israel’s  political and strategic calculus for decades. Never mind that authentic Jewish justice,Tzedek, Tzedek Tirdof, Justice, Justice You Shall Pursue, as well as international law, via Nullum Crimen Sine Poena, No Crime Without Punishment,  mandates commensurate punishment is meted out.

As articulated in one of this blogger’s op-eds in July 2007, http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/7296#.T-ySK7XkCP4, Israel’s leaders have implemented their own bizarre interpretations of both Jewish justice and international legal justice. How quaint.

Making matters even more offensive, morally and security-wise, Arab citizens within Israel ( talk about biting the hand that feeds you ! ) exhibit expansive joy for their fellow Arab (terror) brethren when they walk out of jail, greeted as heroes by one and all. Not to be outdone, Arab MK’s in the Knesset join in the merriment and kudos, hailing their freedom as a symbol of their steadfast ‘resistance’. Not only do the released terrorists please Allah by killing Jews, and gain fame too, but they enjoy their freedom in the process. A win-win. As is said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. Of course, they will opine that ‘gestures/concessions’ to the PA/Fatah junta is necessary to bring Abbas (Arafat’s protege’ and henchman) to the ‘peace’ table, albeit kicking and screaming. Moreover, whenever Hamas prisoners are released (a real head banger, after all, our leaders designate them a terror group, as does Washington) our mental midgets still contend that they need to even the scales, because not to do so weakens Abbas, himself an unrepentant Jew-killer, as well as a Holocaust denier too.

Not to be too impolitic, a ‘crime’ among the (il)liberal set, which is worse than any real crime committed in the name of Allah, aside from FM Lieberman (and several others) few dare to state the truth. So, here it is –

Right on cue Israel’s leftist media jackals (the perpetually chagrined talking heads) tarred, feathered and branded Lieberman with every bugaboo epitaph under the sun for boldly stating the obvious. Which is, dare I utter it, Arab members of the Knesset (plus many of their constituents, but I will leave that for another discussion) are, at the very least, anti-semitic/anti-Zionist, and, at the worst, they are traitors. Traitors who have colluded, incited, and pledged their fealty to our sworn foes. Imagine that.

Most infamously, Arab MK Azmi Bishara collaborated with Hizbullah during the 2006 war, fleeing the country in the process. More recently, Arab MK Zoabi was aboard the IHH (terror sponsored) Mavi Marmara flotilla, as it tried to break a legal blockade against Gaza.There are too many instances to cite whereby Arab MK’s have openly sided with the enemy,  however, the above two stand out for their brazenness. What is truly astonishing/mind boggling is that they are still ! MK’s in our Jewish Knesset. The reasons for this are manifold and mutifaceted, best left for another discussion.

Back to Lieberman and his clash with Arab MK Talab Al-Sana, another anti-semitic, anti-Zionist reprobate.Apparently, in Lieberman’s capacity as FM (Foreign Minister), Arab MK’s became enraged that he had the audacity to check out charges made by Regavim-an NGO set up to protect Jewish land from illegal confiscation-thereby, identifying scores of illegal structures set up by Bedouin clans in one, out of many illegal, village. Mind you, the absolute, provable land theft by Arabs is so large it runs into the tens of thousands of dunams, and that is an understatement. No matter, the Arabs and their leftist cheerleaders are spitting bullets..

Anti-Semitism, Anti-Zionism Takes Center Stage In NYC Democratic Primary Race. Here’s The Results……Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

Openly and increasingly anti-semitic, anti-Zionist vitriol was on full display during the recent NYC Democratic primary contest for Congress, a contest which pitted Hakeem Jeffries against Charles Barron. The fact that this is my hometown, my stomping grounds, brings it that much closer to the fore. Enraging.

What seems to be missing from the full court media discussion (especially from the New York Times, the misnamed ‘paper of record’, the leading purveyor of all things anti-semitic, anti-Zionist worldwide, as it regularly fails to adhere to any journalistic integrity) is the extensive vile background of one of the contestants, a long-time fixture in NYC Democratic politics.

How can it be, that an ex Black Panther radical/terror supporter ever got elected to party politics in the first place? It seems clear that any party leadership, with a semblance of good vs evil, would have precluded him from representing anything (smacking of public trust), other than being part of an FBI watch list!

I know, radical is chic, and anti-Israel rhetoric chicer, especially among the fringes of the Democratic party. However, it begs the question-how venomous/bigoted does a person have to be in order to preclude them from representing any party, least of all one in NYC, a city with one of the largest concentrations of Jews in all of the US?

Alas, the good people of this hard fought over district displayed much more courage, and common sense as well, than the poohbahs in charge of vetting party candidates. They handed Charles-the hater-Barron a resounding loss, smacking him down in the process. To be sure, no one should dare suggest that this was a ‘black’ issue. It certainly wasn’t. After all, the race card can not be played here, both candidates are black and THAT was never the issue.

In other words, is there a system in place, whereby ideological constructs determine the manner in which justice is meted out?

Over the years there have been many cases worthy of examination. Following this case will glean a more direct window into charges often brought forth by right wing nationalists, to wit, that there is indeed two systems of justice in Israel. While attending a conference in 2007 at Columbia University (aka Bir-Zeit University) under the auspices of SPME (Scholars For Peace In The Middle East), this American-Israeli engaged in a most interesting discussion with a highly connected individual, who, for safety sake, shall remain nameless.

Moving right along….now that Egypt has elected its first Muslim Brotherhood President the above discussion comes full circle and bears telling. The person referred to was (and still is) highly intertwined with NYC Democratic political figures (don’t be so shocked…friends/contacts are from the other side too!), and often revealed tidbits which would seem shocking on the face of it, but one way or another proved to be true. There was no reason to believe that this time would be different.

In no uncertain terms it was made known: Hillary Clinton is deeply involved with her Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin. Draw your own conclusions, as to what is meant by “deeply.” The discussion centered around the possibility of another Clinton Presidency, at the time a very real possibility. In any case, the individual was asking me if going public was in the best interests of the United States, in light of Abedin’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood ! You read it right. At first blush the thought was that there was a lack of communication between us, so I decided to ask the individual to repeat said incendiary charge. Nothing changed.

Apparently, it was weighing heavily on said contact’s mind, that their Senator, quite possibly the next POTUS, was in a position to have deeply divided loyalties. When/where this contact found out such explosive information is neither here nor there. Besides, some matters must remain private. However, readers should know that Huma Abedin has been involved with the Clinton family since Bill Clinton’s first term, having been plucked for the plum assignment, as an intern, for the Clinton White House.

Back to yesterday’s explosive news…those who understand the depth, reach and underpinnings of the Brotherhood Mafia, coupled with the Obama administration’s enthusiastic “push” towards this end, know what this means, and would have been shocked had the Brotherhood lost.

Coincidentally, in 2006, I attended another conference, this time under the “guidance” of Lee Kaplan, the foremost investigative journalist (and expert) on the ISM (International Solidarity Movement), one of the tentacled groups of Islamic jihad. The featured speaker was Walid Shoebat, plus two other reformed terrorists.

David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry, as well as ‘Infiltration:How Muslim Spies and Subversives Have Penetrated Washington’ by Paul Sperry. These two books, thoroughly documented, researched and full of chilling exhibits, are perhaps the most important reads for those who care about the fate of the United States, as well as the west. Warning: they are gripping and terrifying reads, but they are necessary. You may not want to read them too close to bedtime.

Nipping at the heels of the recently released ‘Outposts Committee Report’  is the 2nd annual conference relating to our Jewish sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. Having attended last year’s maiden conference I can attest to its all star line up.

In general, yearly forums are not enough, at least when it comes to uprooting our status quo, a narrative which has been set in proverbial stone since the onset of the Oslo ‘Peace’  (Death) Accords. Nevertheless, with events swirling faster than the pundits (and our leadership) can spin them, this conference’s timing is exquisitely fortuitous, it can finally place the nail in the ‘peace process’ coffin.

NEWSFLASH: Commentary by Adina Kutnicki

Having read ‘The Legal Foundation & Borders of Israel Under International Law’ by Howard Grief, a preeminent international legal scholar, it became judiciously clear that our rights to Judea and Samaria (AKA, ‘West Bank’) are legally irrefutable. However, for political calculations (mostly led by leftist functionaries, elected and non-elected) our legal, historical (and no less important, biblical) rights have been impugned.

Suffice it to say, this small, yet vocal stance by leading Israeli jurists is nothing short of stunning. Stay tuned.

Time marches on, unless you live in one of Israel’s southern cities-or more aptly put, shooting galleries-where missiles/rockets rain down hither and yon. Its residents can be forgiven for believing they are stuck in a time warp, a nightmare with no end in sight, where June 2012 is no different than any other month of the past decade.

Consider:my op-ed ‘The Silent Jews’ (4/1/2008) could have been written today, for as is said, the more things change, the more they stay the same, see http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/7877, chiefly because Israeli citizens are still ! sitting ducks four years later. Unfathomable. Unforgivable.

Par for their delusional/demented course our leaders prattle on (see this beauty from our so called nationalist PM –http://www.jpost.com/Defense/Article.aspx?id=274943, inexplicably stating, ‘if needed’ Israel will exert a harsher response, as if close to 200 missiles/rockets in a few days doesn’t require a massive response, and this pithy gem referencing, ‘quiet will be met with quiet’, as the citizens they are obligated to protect cower in terror –http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/157161#.T-bxSRczZ3E) about the IDF’s ability and the leadership’s ‘right’ to protect us, leaving the impression that they require a consensus of world opinion to do their due diligence! Instead of dispatching the vaunted IDF to respond to another (round and round…..here we go again…)defensive measure, what about tasking the IDF to an offensive mission, rather than a tit for tat one? Does ‘cleaning (the terror) house’ resonate?

The onus belongs on the leadership’s shoulders, it is their sworn obligation to protect us. Simple as that.
