Surely this blog’s readership came across the lie of all lies exhorted by the Liar-in-Chief, way back when he catapulted – seemingly out of nowhere – onto the world stage. He intoned, oh so smugly: Ayers was just “a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” Oh yeah, and this blogger is a leftist in rightist garb…never and never…(www.wnd.com/2013/04/bill-ayers-confirms-what-obama-has-denied/) We can readily assume his nose was in the air, his chin tilted too, as he spun another bold-faced tale. His lies are like tics, they just go on and on.

Back in the day (a mere 6 years ago), on May 2, 2007, when Barack HUSSEIN Obama announced his candidacy (a day which will live in infamy) many “knuckle-dragger” types were less than smitten, to say the least. And it was not as if his charisma was lost on us, but there was certainly something “off” about the guy. As such, what tack can inquiring minds take, other than to investigate, especially when one’s gut feeling is so strong, almost to the point of knocking the questioner to the ground?

Which brings us to the present, as well as this blogger/op-ed writer’s non-stop truth telling, relative to the intersection of the POTUS & Ayers. ‘BILL AYERS CONFIRMS WHAT OBAMA HAS DENIED’

Weatherman domestic terrorist finally spills the beans

Weatherman domestic terrorist Bill Ayers is now confirming what the White House has previously denied – that he held a fundraiser in his living room for Barack Obama.

That 1995 meeting was said to have launched Obama’s political career.

In an October 2008 interview on MSNBC host Chris Matthews’ show, Robert Gibbs, a spokesman for Obama’s presidential campaign, categorically denied the fundraiser was ever held.

Matthews asked Gibbs: “Did [Ayers] have a fundraiser for [Obama], or not?”

Gibbs, who would become the White House spokesman, replied: “No, he did not have a fundraiser for our candidate as he said ten seconds ago.”

However, in an interview last week with the Daily Beast, Ayers recalled that fundraiser.

Stated Ayers of his relationship with Obama: “We were friendly, that was true; we served on a couple of boards together, that was true; he held a fundraiser in our living room, that was true; Michelle [Obama] and Bernardine were at the law firm together, that was true. Hyde Park in Chicago is a tiny neighborhood, so when he said I was ‘a guy around the neighborhood,’ that was true.”

Does this explain infamous Ayers living-room meeting?

Is the socialist-oriented New Party the missing link at the center of that now infamous 1995 Obama fundraiser in Ayers living room in Chicago?

It was at that meeting that New Party member Alice Palmer announced she wanted Obama as her successor as state senator since she was stepping down to run for Congress.

WND has found that in the July 1996 edition of the New Party’s newsletter, the New Party news, the controversial party announced “the Illinois New Party capped off a month-long house party drive in Chicago.”

Further review of New Party literature from 1995 and 1996 finds that so-called house parties were regularly utilized by the New Party to introduce candidates to leading party activists as well as to raise money and recruit new members.

It is known that single-payer activist Quentin Young, who advised Obama on healthcare when the politician was a state senator, was present at the parlor meeting at the Ayers’ residence.

WND reported that Young was listed by the New Party as an early party founder and builder.

“I can remember being one of a small group of people who came to Bill Ayers’ house to learn that Alice Palmer was stepping down from the senate and running for Congress,” Young was quoted as saying. “[Palmer] identified [Obama] as her successor.”

Chicago-based blogger Maria Warren was also present. She wrote that she remembered watching Obama give a “standard, innocuous little talk” in the Ayers’ home.

“They were launching him,” Warren wrote, “introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.”

It would make sense that the New Party sponsored the get-together in Ayers’ living room for Palmer’s announcement.

Palmer was the New Party’s signed candidate for office. The New Party, which had partnered closely with ACORN, was mobilizing support for Palmer among its constituents and the larger Chicago progressive community.

New Party founder and Marxist activist Carl Davidson recalled screening Palmer and signing her up to the party.

Wrote Davidson:

In the next two elections in the city … the New Party has taken a slightly different approach. It organized a citywide candidates forum and invited a number of progressive candidates. Of those responding, two were of special interest, Alice Palmer and Willie Delgado … Both Palmer and Delgado attended the [New Party] forum and were thoroughly questioned by 70 or so New Party members. At the close, both publicly signed a “contract” with the New Party … Two weeks later, the New Party formally endorsed them and is now mobilizing support.

How was the New Party mobilizing the stated support for Palmer at the time, an effort that Palmer wanted transferred to Obama?

WND reported the New Party had such a close relationship with ACORN that at one point the two shared an office address, fax lines and email addresses.

ACORN led the New Party’s mobilization and voter drive efforts. In progressive circles at the time, the New Party was considered the de facto political wing of ACORN, a group with which Obama long maintained a close relationship.

Ayers and Dohrn, meanwhile, traveled in the same political circles as New Party leaders, making it even more likely the duo could have hosted a New Party house meeting. The duo were key supporters of Palmer.

In 1994 Dohrn and Bill Ayers were listed on a “Membership, Subscription and Mailing List” for the Chicago Committees of Correspondence, which was co-chaired by New Party founder Davidson.

WND found that Chicago activists Joe Iosbaker and Stephanie Weiner were also listed as New Party leaders.

Iosbaker is a University of Illinois-Chicago office worker and a union steward for his SEIU local. His home was raided by the FBI in September 2010 reportedly as part of a terror probe investigating material support for jihadist groups.

Together with other activists raided in the same probe, Iosbaker and Weiner are founders of the so-called Committee to Stop FBI Repression, which protested the FBI raids.

Another founder of the committee whose home was part of the same raid is Hatem Abudayyeh, the executive director of the Arab American Action Network, or AAAN.

WND was first to report that Obama, while serving as a paid director of the far-left nonprofit Chicago Woods Fund, provided two grants to the AAAN. Obama served at the Woods Fund alongside Ayers.

AAAN was founded by a longtime Obama associate, Columbia University Professor Rashid Khalidi. Khalidi’s wife, Mona, is president of the Arab American Action Network.

The New Party, meanwhile, is coming under increased scrutiny after new information emerged further indicating Obama was a member of the party in the 1990s.

The New Party was a 1990s party that sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda.

In 2008, Obama’s campaign denied the president was ever a member amid reports, including from WND, citing the New Party’s own literature listing Obama as a member.

Information uncovered in recent weeks, including Obama’s signed contract with the New Party, further establishes the president’s membership with the controversial organization.

Socialist goals

The New Party, established in 1992, took advantage of what was known as electoral “fusion,” which enabled candidates to run on two tickets simultaneously, attracting voters from both parties. But the New Party disbanded in 1998, one year after fusion was halted by the Supreme Court.

The socialist-oriented goals of the New Party were enumerated on its old website.

Among the New Party’s stated objectives were “full employment, a shorter work week and a guaranteed minimum income for all adults; a universal ‘social wage’ to include such basic benefits as health care, child care, vacation time and lifelong access to education and training; a systematic phase-in of comparable worth; and like programs to ensure gender equity.”

The New Party stated it also sought “the democratization of our banking and financial system – including popular election of those charged with public stewardship of our banking system, worker-owner control over their pension assets [and] community-controlled alternative financial institutions.”

Many of the New Party’s founding members were Democratic Socialists of America leaders and members of Committees of Correspondence, a breakaway of the Communist Party USA.

Last month, WND reported on a 1996 print advertisement in a local Chicago newspaper that shows Obama was the speaker at an event sponsored and presented by the Democratic Socialists of America, the DSA.

Obama listed as New Party member

In 2009, WND reported on newspaper evidence from the New Party’s own literature listing several new members of the New Party, including Obama.

Earlier this month, Kurtz, writing at National Review Online, reported Obama signed a “contract” promising to publicly support and associate himself with the New Party while in office.

In 2008, Obama’s Fight the Smears campaign website quoted Carol Harwell, who managed Obama’s 1996 campaign for the Illinois Senate, as stating: “Barack did not solicit or seek the New Party endorsement for state senator in 1995.”

Fight the Smears conceded the New Party did support Obama in 1996 but denied that Obama had ever joined.

Not only that, but said person became so interesting to the authorities that boxes of material were hauled out of his house, even though media mouthpieces insisted that he had nothing to do with the bombing. More to the point, how can one be “cleared” before complete due diligence is executed? One can’t. Alas, he is still a “person of interest” for a multiplicity of reasons, despite their whitewash. But never mind, the POTUS has other allegiances and they are diametrically opposed to America’s welfare.

“Innocent” Saudi Spotted With Two Other Saudis at Marathon?

First, a few things that are undisputed. We know that federal, state, and local authorities took interest in a Saudi national named Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi after the Boston marathon bombings. We also know that he was injured and that those authorities searched his apartment and hauled away bags of stuff.

Add to that the fact that not long after Secretary of State John Kerry secretly met with the Saudi Foreign Minister after an open meeting with a photo spray was abruptly changed to a closed-door meeting. Not long after this meeting, Alharbi was no longer a person of interest.

Ok, so authorities are not denying that Alharbi was injured in the blast and they are not denying that he is a Saudi national (don’t look for them to even acknowledge that six members of the Alharbi clan are with Al-Qaeda and five were detained at Gitmo, to include one on the list of six). These authorities are, however, denying that Alharbi had anything to do with the bombings.

That leads to what appears to be three Saudis being spotted near the scene of the explosions. Note that one has what appears to be a backpack over his shoulder, via Asian Week:

According to Asian Week, the man in the middle (wearing jacket and who is also seen with a pen clipped to his shirt) was standing over a baby stroller.

A Saudi national named Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi – who has six relatives belonging to Al Qaeda and five that were detained at Gitmo – was injured at the scene of terrorist bombings at the Boston marathon. The bombings had certain characteristics that indicate they were the work of Al Qaeda.

Now we have a photo(s) of what very well could be three Saudis, to include at least one who resembles Alharbi at the scene of the bombings.

And Alharbi went from ‘person of interest’ to completely innocent in less than 24 hours?

Certain subjects hit closer to the gut than others. And this one qualifies as one such direct hit.

To be sure, one doesn’t wake up one morning and decide, yes, let’s start “following the money”. Not at all. But certain things do have to fall into place to bring one aboard.

Some background: in the aftermath of 9/11/01, a concerted sense of personal outrage prevailed, akin to one’s blood boiling. While Americans were literally incinerated due to Islamic jihadists, fellow Jews, in Israel, were blown to bits on buses, at shopping malls and everywhere in between. Said scenario was certainly not conducive to sitting on the sidelines….with many other pressure points in the mix, duly explained within.

“Terrorists use drug profits to fund their cells to commit acts of murder,” said President George W. Bush, on December 14, 2001. “It’s so important for Americans to know that the traffic in drugs finances the work of terror, sustaining terrorists.”

On March 19, 2002, Attorney General John Ashcroft went on to say: “Terrorism and drugs go together like rats and the bubonic plague…. They thrive in the same conditions, support each other, and feed off each other.”

Alas, the water flowing through the Potomac seems to have swept this acknowledgement down to Chesapeake Bay, off to the Atlantic Ocean.

Incredibly, twenty-one years later, on March 20, 2013, Marine Corps Gen. John F. Kelly, commander of U.S. Southern Command, gave a press conference at the Pentagonto voice his concern about “A potentialconnection between crime syndicates and terrorists in Latin America.” (Emphasis added.)

Contradicting himself, Kelly added, “We do know that some terrorist organizations are able to skim off fairly substantial sums of money from the drug profits…. And so there has to be kind of a network for that to happen.”

Kelly explained, “Drugs are the basis for this wealth and the drug-related money coming out of the United States.” A criminal network (which one?) “transports tons of drugs into the United States and Europe and moves bales of money back out.”

The sums are “astronomical…. I mean palettes of money,” he said. “For a buck, anything can get on the [drug transport] network.” Kelly concluded, “The point of it all is the network is a very dangerous thing to have working as effectively as it does, because anything can get on it.”

Already in 2002, twelve of the thirty-six groups on the U.S. Department of State’s ForeignTerrorist Organizations List were identified as being involvedin drug trafficking.In October 2002, a Colombian courier for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (FARC), which is funded mostly by drug trafficking, was arrested in the U.S. for having attempted to transport €182,000 (Euros) into the country. The money was confiscated.

In another case, U.S. law enforcement derailed an al-Qaeda plot to exchange “9,000 assault weapons, suchas AK-47 rifles, submachine guns and sniper rifles; 300 pistols; rocket-propelled grenade launchers; 300,000 grenades; shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles and 60 million rounds of ammunition,”for $25 million dollars in cash and cocaine.

Since then, the cooperation between international drug trafficking has been cemented to share the “astronomical” amounts of money generated by drug trafficking, arms and people smuggling the worldover.

If Kelly’s worry about such a “potential” link strikes you as odd, it should.

At the same press conference Kelly was arguing that “The reality on the ground [Latin America] is that Iran is struggling to maintain influence in the region, and that its efforts to cooperate with a small set of countries with interests that are inimical to the United States are waning.”

He went on to explain that Iran have increased its “attempt to evade international sanctions and cultivate anti-U.S. sentiment,” Iran succeeded in establishing relations with “Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Argentina.” However, he noted, “This outreach has only been marginally successful…and the region as a whole has not been receptive to Iranian efforts.”

Kelly seemed oblivious to Iranian proxy Hezbollah’s longstanding involvement in drug trafficking and many other criminal activities criminal fundraising efforts in Latin America.

What to think of this? It was surely an example of both the current administration’s humoring of Iran (Kelly paraphrased: I’m not saying that Iran is sponsoring terrorism in Latin America. I’m only talking about ‘potential’) and an expression of just how far behind the curve the U.S. military will be when it comes to handling future events.

The fact that Hezbollah is Iran’s principal agent both in Latin America and a good number of other places worldwide was established decades ago. Since 9/11 Hezbollah’s activities and partnership with drug cartels in pursuing criminal activity of all sorts in the tri-border region have been documented in “Funding Evil; How terrorism is Financed – and How to Stop it,” and in many congressional hearings, by the Congressional Research Service, reports by the Drug Enforcement Administration, and many studies, reports and media accounts.

On March 17, 2009,a former commander of U.S. Southern Command, Navy Adm. James G. Stavridistestified before the House Armed Services Committee

“He noted the direct link between the illicit drug trade and the terrorist groups it bankrolls, noting the threat posed by Islamic radical terrorism, and emphasized that “Identifying, monitoring and dismantling the financial, logistical and communication linkages between illicit trafficking groups and terrorist sponsors are critical to not only ensuring early indications and warnings of potential terrorist attacks directed at the United States and our partners, but also in generating a global appreciation and acceptance of this tremendous threat to security.” Strangely, Gen. Kelly knows nothing about this.

Former assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs Roger Noriega recently testified before Congress on the Iran/Hezbollah/ Venezuela nexus. Noriega noted the Iran has laundered billions of dollars through the Venezuelan financial sector and is currently stashing “hundreds of millions” in “virtually every Venezuelan bank,” some of which have corresponding branches in the U.S.

In addition to Venezuela, where Hezbollah has close ties to Chavez’s likely successor, Vice President Nicolas Maduro, there are credible reports of Hezbollah’s presence in Nicaragua, Belize and Mexico.

In April 2010, U.S. defense officials were cited by the U.S. Boarder Control website, saying that “Hezbollah is working with Mexican narcotics syndicates that control access to transit routes into the U.S, [and] …to smuggle drugs and people into the United States.” Moreover, he “warned that al Qaeda also could use trafficking routes to infiltrate operatives into the U.S.” ( see the map above).

One can only wonder why the Administration is considering Iran’s penetration of Latin America, as well as Hezbollah’s and other terrorist groups involvement in the narco-terrorism nexus, a matter of “potential.” It has long been a fait accompli.

“Innocent” Saudi has ties to several Al-Qaeda Terrorists

A couple of weeks ago we warned America about the very serious problem of Saudi infiltration; many of these Saudi nationals criminals and terrorists.

After the bombings, a Saudi by the name of Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi was hospitalized and became a ‘suspect’, then a ‘person of interest’. His apartment was searched by federal and local authorities. No confirmation has been given so far to his involvement. The Media were quick to claim his innocence, of course.

This brings us to the Boston marathon bombings. Foreign Policy is reporting that he’s ‘no longer a person of interest’, which means he’s “innocent”, right?

Perhaps a quick look at the Arabic sources should raise the eyebrows of every American relative to the extent of the problem at hand. Many from Al-Harbi’s clan are steeped in terrorism and are members of Al-Qaeda. Out of a list of 85 terrorists listed by the Saudi government shows several of Al-Harbi clan to have been active fighters in Al-Qaeda:

There are specific Saudi clans that are rife with members of Al-Qaeda, which makes it quite alarming as to why nearly a hundred thousand student visas are issued to these. Americans are clueless as to clan ties when it comes to terrorism.

Lesson one: Terrorism and crime by the Saudis is interlinked extensively within families, as we see in the Harbi clan.

Let me explain. Americans will never find the Kaczynski Clan official website supporting Ted Kaczynski.

Saudi Arabia is a far different story.

Take Khalid Aldawsari, a Saudi national. He is a student and an Al-Qaeda terrorist who planned to use weapons of mass destruction in the U.S., to include an attempted assassination of president Bush. Aldawsari was not a lone wolf; he was backed by an entire system. The wealthy and powerful Aldawsari clan, which includes the powerful Sheik Saud Bin Mut’ab whohosted a support group for the terrorist defending him publicly while funding his legal team.

Just translate “We are all Khalid Dawsari” into Arabic and see how much support the terrorist gets. The Aldawsari clan’s main website (alduwasser.net) keeps track of everything that goes with every comment in support for the terrorist linking to other supporting groups.

There are several “Aldawsari” troublemakers. Mohammad al-Wada’ani Aldawsari openly calls for the removal of the Saudi Kingdom and Khalid Aldawsari does not mind relying on the help of his enemies, stating (see page 10) that he was admitted into the United States with the help of what he termed “the traitor of the two holy places”. This would be a reference to the King of Saudi Arabia himself, which sends a hundred thousand of his students to the United States, Aldawsari’s favorite target.

Another Aldawsari, the Saudi poet and well-known preacher Hafiz bin ‘Ajab Aldawsari who – on March 14, 2012 – devoted a sermon to Filiz Gelowicz, an imprisoned German jihad supporter and wife of Fritz Gelowicz, a German convert from the “Sauerland Cell,” which allegedly plotted attacks in Germany on behalf of the Islamic Jihad Union in 2007. Hafiz Aldawsari urged Muslims to come to her aid – with donations and weapons stating that freeing Muslim prisoners held by the “infidels” is a supreme religious duty.

Take the Ghamdi clan (which has so many in the U.S.). It once responded to the following question that circulates the Middle East:

“Why does the Ghamdi clan produce so many terrorists?”

The Clan Ghamdi, on its official website (Ghamid.com), proudly responded to the question with a long martyrs list titled “Ghamdis the Mujahideen” priding themselves for having given two of their young men #3 Ahmed Ghamdi and #4 Hamza Saleh Ghamdi, who destroyed the South Tower in Manhattan on 9/11/01.

They are listed as “martyrs” and “heroes” with comments like “definitely, sons to be proud of”. The Ghamdi martyrs list too lengthy to include here but perhaps we can include a few from the official al-Qaeda martyrs list of the Muslims fallen in Afghanistan by the hands of the “American Crusaders”; #25 is Abdul-Rahman Ghamdi and #61 is Saeed Ghamdi and #134, Abu Zubayr Ghamdi. It even includes a relative of Khalid Aldawsari #130 Faisal Aldawsari killed in Torah Bora while serving Al-Qaeda. Another Ghamdi (Sa’d al-Ghamdi) even sings for al-Qaeda:

The parents of the Ghamdi’s who participated in 9/11 were proud of him.Countless Muslim websites describes them as “the lions of Manhattan. May Allah house them in paradise”.

Both Aldawsari clan as well as Ghamdi clan official websites openly supports terrorism. The support for Mohammad al-Wada’ani Aldawsari is in the open while firing machine guns:

Songs and poetry are dedicated for Khalid Aldawsari.

Several operations involving weapons of mass destruction were thwarted in the U.S. but all it takes is one success. Bombers in Boston experienced such a success, at least a partial one.

In addition to terrorists, the release of some of the most notorious criminals who hail from Saudi Arabia is demanded by the Saudi government. Take the case of theft, human trafficking, owning and raping a slave in the U.S. Illegal, right? It should be but special treatments are provided so long as the slave owner is a Saudi national.

One viral video in the Middle East sent out by Saudi Arabia calls for President “Barack Hussein Obama” to release a convicted slave owner and Saudi national named Homaidan Al-Turki, who briefly became a person of interest after the murder of Colorado’s Department of Corrections chief, Tom Clements last month. And while the Saudi government appeals to one president to release Al-Turki, there is no remorse over another one of their countrymen (Aldawsari) having the gall to plan an assassination of Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush! [story here] [see full story here]

The stories of demands that Saudi terrorists and criminals be released from U.S. custody by the Saudi royals should spark much more interest than it is, at the level of arrogance coming from the Saudi government.

The American media and its people are to blame for this apathy.

Saudi national Homaidan Al-Turki, was found guilty and sentenced to 28 years for holding an Indonesian woman as a “sex slave” while living in Colorado. Yet, he is “innocent” according to the king of Saudi Arabia and the general public there.

According to court records in the United States, Al-Turki…

“would go to her room in the basement at night and sexually molest her, including digitally penetrating her and forcing her to perform oral sex on him (Record 19:21- 22, 26, 65, 97, 99, 102; 21:41)… During the last incident of sexual abuse, which occurred approximately two weeks before Z.A.’s arrest, Mr. Al-Turki, for the first time, had sexual intercourse with Z.A., who was still a virgin (Record 21:44-46).”

Turki even gets special treatment and is allowed to call the Saudi media for on the air interviews right from his prison cell to give the nation the state of his affairs:

Even entire documentary is made in his defense while allowing the filming in prison. Introductions by the host include: “Why should he pay 28 years of his life to hire an Indonesian servant?” (see 1:18-1:36):

There is absolutely zero remorse. Even when Al-Turki got sentenced his last statements were:

“Your honor, I am not here to apologize, for I cannot apologize for things I did not do and for crimes I did not commit. The state has criminalized these basic Muslim behaviors. Attacking traditional Muslim behaviors was the focal point of the prosecution.”

According to Al-Turki a Muslim has a right to own a slave, penetrate them as they wish while living in the United States.

Even in the United States, he gets airtime and is even allowed by the Muslim community to lead the Iftar since he was free on bond courtesy of the Saudi government:

Take another case of another Saudi national, Al-Turki’s prison mate Nayef Al-Yousef, whom Homaidan praised as a “consoling friend” who was sentenced to 300 years for the kidnap and murder in 2001 in the United States. We obtained from Arabic sources that his two accomplices in crime – Mash’al Al-Suwaidi and Tareq Dawsari – escaped to Saudi Arabia and obtained “pardon” through influence in the upper echelons of the Saudi system and received zero prison time. And while the Saudis ask president Obama to pardon Al-Turki they refused to extradite the two back to the United States. Al-Ryadh Newspapereven praised Allah for their safe escape since the two “repented and grew their beards”.

Al-Yousef’s influential father at the time announced that he is working on getting president Bush to pardon his son and thanked the Saudi government. In fact, Wikileaks included exchanged demands by the Saudi government requesting the United States to release these as well as a litany of Saudi criminals imprisoned in the United States.

One of the demands was to release Dr. Nabil Al-Ruwais, a Saudi psychiatrist who was imprisoned for attempting to sexually molest a two-year old girl in California. His emails indicated that Al Ruwais had previously molested 2- and 10-year-old girls in Saudi Arabia. The man’s conduct according to U.S. investigators “absolutely shocks the conscience”, yet was also included on the Wikileaks document.

What is little known about Al-Ruwais, which we obtained from Arabic sourcesis that he is well connected. The Ruwais clan governs the region of Yamama in Najd and takes pride in that they pledged allegiance to Muhammad Abdul Wahhab, the founder of Wahhabism. Nabil is also student of Muhammad Bin Ibrahim, once Mufti of Saudi Arabia, an accomplished Muslim author on Islamic Hadith and Unitarianism who authored a volume on Islamic studies entitled “The Harvest of The Times”.

So important are Saudi criminals that Colorado Attorney General John Suthers traveled to Saudi Arabia to meet the King Abdullah for 3 days regarding the case of Al-Turkie as to appease the king.

And then you have Prince Khalid Bin Talal visiting Al-Turki’s family and even receiving calls from him directly from the prison cell in which the prince assured him that he would get him released soon.

Unknown in the West is even an announcement by his brother Ahmad Al-Turki that the prison in Clorado has “agreed to do a prisoner exchange”.

But the public support for Al-Turki in Saudi Arabia goes hand-in-hand with their support for terrorist Khalid Dawsari who wanted Bush dead while western media is oblivious to the deception by the general Muslim population. With Dawsari’s case, Imam Samer al-Tabaa of the Islamic Center of South Plains acted surprised as he stated to The Lubbock Avalanche Journal his first lie that “no one in the Saudi Community seemed to know Aldawsari,” which into the circulating myth that Muslim terrorists are lone wolves and isolated Unabombers. “Dawsari is an alien to Islam… he is an enemy to humanity,” he said.

‘Boston Marathon Blasts: Doctors Credit Israelis With helping Set Up Disaster Team’ – Video embedded

Hours following a pair of blasts at the Boston Marathon that left 2 dead and up to 100 wounded according to reports, a chief doctor at the hospital where many of the patients are being treated credited Israelis with teaching his team how to respond to such disastrous attacks.

“About two years ago in actual fact we asked the Israelis to come across and they helped us set up our disaster team so that we could respond in this kind of manner,” said Alastair Conn, Chief of Emergency Services at Massachusetts General Hospital, responding to a question about the preparedness of his staff to handle trauma on this scale.

Earlier in the interview Conn was asked, “Would you characterize these as almost something you would see in a military setting?”

“Oh absolutely, absolutely this is like a bomb explosion that we hear about in the news in Baghdad, or Israel or some other tragic place in the world,” he responded.

The doctor updated reporters on the horrific nature of the injuries sustained by the victims and the steps his team was taking to treat them.

While little concrete information is available about who was responsible for the attack, the New York Post is reporting that, “Law enforcement sources confirmed to The Post that authorities have a identified a suspect, a Saudi national.”

Author says government’s actions are ‘comparable to U.S. funding al-Qaida’

WASHINGTON—The U.S. government running guns to Mexican cartels is “comparable to the United States funding al-Qaida to make someone in the United States look bad,” according to the author of a new best-seller.

Katie Pavlich is the author of “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up,” news editor of townhall.com and an expert on the Fast and Furious scandal.

In an interview with WND, she asserted that the Obama administration intentionally orchestrated a “false flag” against lawful gun dealers, the U.S. Border Patrol and Mexican citizens to give cause for more gun regulation.

“This is a situation where the government was creating a situation where they could blame law-abiding citizens, turn them into criminals and creat[e] this false problem that they could solve through gun regulation,” Pavlich said.

Pavlich compares drug cartels to terrorist groups like Hezbollah, and new reports say the groups actually are linked.

“This is a situation where [the Obama administration was] willing to put public safety in danger, get thousands of people killed south of the border. The only reason we know about this is because (Border Patrol agent) Brian Terry was killed,” she said.

Pavlich cites the history of how the government courted gun dealers in Arizona to work with the ATF to sell guns to illegal buyers – allegedly to prove that guns were being transferred from American dealers to drug cartels.

She notes how the ATF assured gun dealers that “everything was OK” and that the ATF was “going to make sure the guns aren’t transferred to violent hands” and “not going to Mexico.”

Despite these assurances by the government, after the killings started happening, the government declared that gun dealers in Arizona were responsible for the “murder and mayhem in Mexico.”

When asked by WND if the real agenda was to make American gun dealers look bad, Pavlich said, “absolutely.”

She said Obama, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder “were giving us this false 90 percent figure” that 90 percent of guns being illegally trafficked to Mexico were coming from Arizona and the Southwest border.

Pavlich asserts that the administration’s agenda is mirrored in a 1995 video of Holder that shows him advocating “brainwashing” children to think differently about guns

In reference to the recent filibuster by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on the use of drones to kill American citizens, Pavlich said, “Fast and Furious was a perfect example” of the government setting the precedent and breaking psychological barriers to kill American citizens.

Pavlich is not the only commentator to assert that Fast and Furious was an attempt to curb the Second Amendment. NRA executive vice-president Wayne LaPierre said in 2011 that “Fast and Furious” was a “plot to undermine” the right to bear arms.

Former Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, in a 2011 interview with radio talk show host Alex Jones, said the government is criminally liable for Fast and Furious and described the operation as a “false flag.”

Pavlich said that since Fast and Furious, “Democrats have done everything they can to drop ‘Fast and Furious’ from their vocabulary” yet their attempts to press for gun control are obviously not hindered by the scandal.

She cited Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., who was an “ardent defender of Eric Holder” who is still out in front pressing for more gun control in the wake of the scandal.

However, the administration has been only partly successful in its strategy to use Fast and Furious.

Fellow Democrats such as Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Max Baucus, D-Mont., stood up to Holder in 2009 immediately after the scandal broke, saying they “oppose reinstating the ban on the sale of assault weapons, and we call on the Department of Justice to enforce existing laws before it considers imposing any new restrictions on gun ownership.”

Choosing Life in Israel: a Review, Featured at American Thinker…by Adina Kutnicki

Choosing Life in Israel, by P. David Hornik (a columnist at Frontpage Magazine, a contributor to PJ Media, American Spectator, and elsewhere), is a collection of essays vividly describing the author’s life in Israel with all its attendant regional whiplashes. Its trajectory veers like a roller coaster ride from the wildly delicious to the deeply terrified. From personal ups and downs to heart-stopping high drama, its quick pace leaves one breathless. The author’s compelling voice projects a rich tapestry of experiences living on the front lines of the Middle East.

The book is broken down into two highly readable sections. Part 1 deals mainly with the ins and outs of daily life in Israel with its multifaceted challenges. Its nine stories are interwoven into concise and entertaining segments, not without cold doses of reality smacking the reader across the face. One such episode is particularly emblematic of what it means to live not only in Israel, but in Jerusalem; the epicenter of international fixation, bordering on fanatical obsession.

From “Mistaken Random Terror in Jerusalem:” ”

…just down the street from me, George Khoury, a 22 year old student of economics and international relations at Hebrew University who was out jogging, was shot dead by terrorists from Al-Aksa Martyr’s Brigades, part of Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement… The “impersonal” nature of most terrorism… is its most chilling aspect… and killing him because (supposedly) he’s a Jew — is that personal or impersonal? Indeed, the Martyr’s Brigades was quick to apologize once it found out its error. Its commander called George Khoury’s father, the well known East Jerusalem lawyer Elias Khoury… and that the group considers George a “Palestinian martyr.”

Adding considerable angst to a father’s normal bereavement, Elias Khoury’s father, Daoud Khoury, was also murdered for being in the wrong place at a most unfortunate time. Visceral flashbacks surely must have resonated through Elias Khoury’s being. But when it comes to Islamic-sustained terror everything is flipped on its head. Even though he lost his father due to a booby-trapped refrigerator placed by the same Fatah terrorist outfit in the heart of a Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem, his reaction to his son’s and father’s death evinced “moral” equivalency: “The Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades are individuals who are trying to impose their way on everyone… this act was carried out by a group that undermines the cause of Palestinian justice… I am against all violent attacks against innocent civilians, whether it be against Israeli or Palestinian civilians.” Well and good, except for the fact that Israeli security forces take great pains to spare the lives of Palestinian civilians, often at unfathomable costs to its own soldiers and citizens alike. Those who invariably become “collateral” damage are accidental victims of legitimate counter-terror operations. Most significantly, many Palestinian casualties are strategically placed (by their leadership) in close proximity to bomb factories etc., in anticipation of an international hue and cry when the dead and maimed are paraded before the world’s cameras. More to the point, the author elicits many such examples of bloody jihad waged all over the streets of Israel, seemingly with no end in sight. Consequentially, P. David Hornik demonstrates, even when bereaved, Israel’s minority population is unwilling to condemn terror for what it is: murderous jihad.

Segueing to Part 2, the reader lands even more squarely in the heart of the hottest conflict in the world, aptly titled “Israel’s Struggle to Survive.”

Part of the richness of Choosing Life in Israel lies within its many paradoxes. In one fell swoop one can be swept up with pride when reading about the efficiency of Israel’s Defense Forces as it engages the enemy, though mostly in “reaction” to sustained terror on its citizens, instead of pursuing an initial offensive doctrine. This is absolutely the result of political “strategies”, as opposed to military readiness. To be sure, for the most part, the IDF is a well-oiled machine, and its special forces are second to none. At the same time, the reader cringes with embarrassment, bordering on acute distress, witnessing many hard-fought battles evaporate into nothingness as Israel’s political leadership reflexively turn battlefield victories into one “concession/peace” gesture after another. An unsustainable viciouscycle is played out, year after year.

Specifically, “How Not to Defeat Hamas” illustrates heartburn-worthy renditions of appeasement, while exemplifying the above dichotomy. “From the beginning, Israel has always fueled the Palestinian Authority’s war against it — quite literally. It provides the Palestinian Authority with key supplies like electricity, water and, through Dor-Alon Energy Company, even with gas and cooking gas…. Last Wednesday, though, Dor-Alon announced it was suspending supplies due to unpaid debts. Yet, by Thursday, the company said it was resuming supplies after PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas promised to send payments within 10 days.” An unbiased observer has to ponder: what can possibly possess an Israeli leadership to provide any supplies to an enemy entity, even while it rains rockets down on Israel’s terrorized citizens? Not only that, but it is a known fact that over 8,600 taxpaying Jewish citizens were pulled from Gaza, while their legally purchased homes (homes which were built with the government’s approval), beautiful communities, flourishing businesses, model schools and holy synagogues were torn asunder. To add to the readership’s cognitive dissonance, the dead were pulled from their resting places, all in order to “disengage” from Gaza. Yet, the author recognizes — clearer than most — that none of the above gives the leadership pause, to at least reverse course.

At its core, Choosing Life in Israel (available at Amazon.com in kindle and paperback) evinces what it means to be emotionally, spiritually, and viscerally drawn, as a Jew, to the siren song emitted by Israel. Update: Hear an interview with the lawyer representing some of the New Yorkers who were forced to surrender their guns and permits (at the end of this story).

Despite promises from the president and a host of other politicians who are pushing for more gun control that nobody is coming for your guns, the confiscation of guns and gun permits has apparently started in some form in New York State. One attorney representing several people who have been forced to surrender their guns spoke with TheBlaze and alerted us to some disturbing facts:

Gun owners are losing their 2nd Amendment rights without due process.
HIPAA Laws are likely being compromised and the 4th and 5th Amendments are being violated in some of these cases

How did confiscation start happening so quickly? Apparently the gun grabbing was triggered by something inside the NY SAFE Act — New York’s new gun law — that has a provision apparently mandating confiscation of weapons and permits if someone has been prescribed psychotropic drugs.

This is curious because in his January 9th address, Cuomo specifically addressed the issue of confiscation:

The Case:

On April 1st, a legal gun owner in upstate New York reportedly received an official notice from the state ordering him to surrender any and all weapons to his local police department. The note said that the person’s permit to own a gun in New York was being suspended as well. The gun owner contacted attorney Jim Tresmond (a specialist in gun laws in New York) and the two visited the local police precinct.

Mr. Tresmond reportedly went into the precinct and informed the officers that his client, waiting in the parking lot, was coming in to voluntarily surrender his weapons as requested. The local police were aware of the letter because they had already been contacted by the State Police. Apparently, if people do not respond to the initial mailing, local law enforcement is authorized to visit the gun owner at their home and demand the surrender of the firearms. In this case, the gun owner followed the request as written. The guns and permits were handed over and a receipt given to the client.

After the guns were turned over, a request for a local hearing was filed and the gun owner is expecting to have his Second Amendment rights restored. But there is more to this story.

In our conversation with lawyer Jim Tresmond, we learned that this client, who has never had a problem with the law — no criminal record and or violent incidents on record — did have a temporary, short term health issue that required medication. But how were his client’s private medical information accessed by the government? This appears to be a violation of HIPAA and Health Information Privacy policies at HHS.gov. If it is declared a violation, this becomes a civil rights issue.

Some claim that a broad interpretation of this statement from HIPAA might allow the government to have instant access to the medical records and gun ownership records of anyone who is prescribed psychotropic drugs.

A major goal of the Privacy Rule is to assure that individuals’ health information is properly protected while allowing the flow of health information needed to provide and promote high quality health care and to protect the public’s health and well being.

That short phrase, “protect the public’s health and well being” is probably going to be cited as the reason governments can require notification of any gun owner who is prescribed a class of drugs used to treat Depression and Anxiety known as SSRI ( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors).

The Mental Health Law provision of the SAFE Act claims

The NY SAFE Act is designed to remove firearms from those who seek to do harm to themselves or others. This means keeping the minority of individuals with serious mental illness who may be dangerous away from access to firearms. This law should not dissuade any individual from seeking mental health services they need.

The law is clear on what it expects:

MHL 9.46 requires mental health professionals to report to their local director of community services (“DCS”) or his/her designees when, in their reasonable professional judgment, one of their patients is “likely to engage in conduct that would result in serious harm to self or others.”

The man who was asked/directed to turn over his guns reportedly did not exhibit any signs of violent or dangerous behavior. According to his attorney, the man’s doctor did not report any danger to the authorities. So, who did report it?

Also known as MHL 9.46, the law talks about who is supposed to report on mental health risks and which patients qualify:

The reporting requirement extends to “mental health professionals,” defined in the law as four professions – physicians (including psychiatrists), psychologists, registered nurses, or licensed clinical social workers.

In addition to what Mr. Tresmond called “the laughable diminution of our rights,” the lawyer speculated about additional unintended consequences of releasing this confidential patient information to law enforcement.

What if an employer learns that a worker had their firearms confiscated? Could that person’s employment be put at risk?
What if your neighbors saw police come to your home and leave with your guns? Could that compromise your safety?
Could this kind of confiscation also make people think twice about getting treatment for a temporary mental illness?

In an effort to learn how many permits and guns have been rescinded due to this medical exception, TheBlaze has made several attempts to contact the Erie County office over pistol permits where this one incident originated. We have yet to be connected with a real person who can answer these questions.

We have also reached out to the Albany office of the New York State Police, but no official response has been received.

Mr. Tresmond has also agreed to keep us posted on his client’s efforts to have his Second Amendment rights restored and get back his guns.

There is a saying that there is no joy quite as joyous as Schadenfreude, which is the joy one feels at the misfortune of (suitably deserving) others. In Hebrew it is called “Simcha L-eid” while the German word (also used in English) means joy at misfortune. There are lots of new stories that will give you a delightful sense of Schadenfreude. First, there is the huge multi-million shekel suit filed against Haaretz by Anat Kamm. You may recall Kamm as the clueless young leftist who stole oodles of sensitive classified military documents and gave them to Haaetz far-leftist reporter Uri Blau. Kamm did some jail time for this, although not as much as she should have done. Haaretz and Blau got off with a slap to the wrist. After all, since when does the Israeli judicial system really prosecute Far Leftists?

Well, Kamm is suing Haaretz because it published some of the stolen documents she gave them. I find that almost as absurd as the woman who sued MacDonald’s for serving her coffee that was too hot, but nevertheless I am delighted to see Haaretz up to its Kaffiya in an expensive and grisly lawsuit.

Then there was the Labor Party assembly this past week. There the “clique” of Shelly “Little Bo Peep” Yachimovich reasserted its control of the party and defeated the opposing clique, headed by Eitan Cabel and others. The amusing part was where the members of Shelly’s team starting using racist anti-Mizrachi hate speech, guaranteed to lose the Labor Party what little it still gets from the Mizrachi vote.

Israeli leftists are almost all snotty yuppie Ashkenazim (of Eastern European descent). They also have a long track record of making disparaging remarks about Sephardim-Mizrachim (of Mediterranean or Arabic Jewish descent). The problem for the Left is that Mizrachim by and large are NOT. Not Leftist, that is. Perhaps the most famous was the set of snarls by the late Dudu Topaz about how all the “Chochchochim” are in the Likud, the term used as a derogatory term for Mizrachim, roughly similar to the use of “greasers” in the US to refer to Latinos, Italians, or other groups. Before that the bovine “comedienne” Tiki Dayan made similar snooty comments (see http://www.hagalil.com/israel/politik/tv/propaganda.htm ) and there have been others.

Well, this past week, Shelly’s mensheviks got up and started screaming at their own party opposition that they are a bunch of “Arsim.” The Hebrew slang word “Ars” (it actually comes from Arabic – see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ars_(slang) ) can mean pimp or thug but can also be a derogatory term for Mizrachim, and the party opponents to Shelly are led by several Mizrachim. Now Shelly and her sheep are tripping all over themselves trying to “apologize” and spin the scandal for the media. The rest of us can just sit back and sip our Arak and watch Labor implode.

Ah, but by far the BEST story of Schadenfreude is this:

You recall the Gaza Flotilla of Turkish terrorists from the Turkish Islamofascist organization “IHH”. These were the terrorists who tried to murder the unarmed Israeli soldiers who stopped their boat when it illegally tried to run the Israeli blockade of the Hamas in Gaza. And these are the terrorists to whom Israel’s spineless Prime Minister just apologized and offered “reparations” as a reward for their trying to murder Israeli soldiers.

Well, there are some interesting aftershocks to the whole story. Another group of pro-Hamas “internationals” attempted to enter Gaza from Egypt to show their support for the Hamas. They even named themselves the Mavi Marmara, which was the name of the Turkish terrorist ship that Israel stopped and for which it has now “apologized.” This new group consists of European Muslims, mainly the children of Pakistanis living in the UK. They started off in France and Spain, crossed over to Morocco and then made their way overland from Morocco to Gaza. The “internationals” claimed to be bringing in food and civilian supplies to the Hamas, and the gasoline they bought to get from Morocco cost several times the value of their “aid cargo.”

Their problem was that when they got to the border between Libya and Egypt, the Egyptians would not let them pass through. Egypt is having its own spats these days with the Hamas, after the Hamas murdered 16 Egyptian soldiers. Anyway, five of these European “aid to Hamas” terrorists then turned back and returned to Benghazi. Yes, that Benghazi. There the five, three of them women, were kidnapped by Libyan soldiers. In captivity, the three women were either raped or just sexually abused, depending on which media source you believe. The Libyan Deputy Prime Minister says they were raped. He also says that two of the women were raped in front of their own fathers who came to Libya to try to help their daughters get out. After Pakistan protested, Libya arrested a group of soldiers for the rape and some have evidently confessed.

Now you know doubt recall that MA thesis from Hebrew University that was supervised a few years back by Prof. Eyal Ben Ari, a far leftist professor of sociology. In that thesis, which was awarded a special prize by the Hebrew University, it was claimed that the fact that Israeli soldiers never rape Arab women just goes to show you how racist the Jews are. Some time after it received the prize, Ben Ari was fired by the Hebrew University after it was proven that he had raped some of his own Hebrew University students. Maybe to prove he was not a racist.

So it occurs to me that Prof. Eyal Ben Ari is now looking for a new gig and he could not find better work than serving in the Libyan military. Perhaps he can bring with him a few hundred other Israeli tenured leftists? There they can help fight racism!

Venezuelan president called on Muslim Mahdi, Jesus to ‘rush’ their return

Late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who died of cancer this week, urged the Shiite Muslims’ 12th Imam, Mahdi, to return to Earth sooner than prophesied, as revealed in a video released by Rajanews, a media outlet of Iran’s ruling Islamic regime.

Shiites believe Mahdi, the last Islamic messiah, will only come back to Earth after a great conflagration engulfs the Middle East, setting the stage for global Armageddon. When Mahdi returns, Shiites believe, Jesus Christ will be at his side. Chavez was a Catholic.

Rajanews praised Chavez as a serious world leader who supported the Palestinian cause despite the absence of some Arab leaders. Chavez said in the video that global enmity “is located in Gaza” and that the fight for Gaza and the Palestinian cause “is beneficial for Venezuela, too.”

Chavez, in a meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian National Authority, talked of his belief in the Coming of Mahdi, according to the video, and said, “The ultimate war of them all is the war in Gaza.”

In the video, which is not dated, but appears to have been captured during a signing of agreements at the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, Nov. 27, 2009, Chavez told his audience “Quds (Jerusalem) is a holy place for all of us Christians. I spoke with (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad about the day that Islam’s Quran says both (Mahdi and Christ) will return. Jesus, holding hands with the 12th Imam, Mahdi. … Then peace will come upon the world. I tell Christ and Mahdi to come sooner, rush now, come sooner … because we witness the threats posed to the world, my God!”

Chavez served as president of Venezuela from 1999 until his death on March 5. He was diagnosed with cancer, undergoing surgery and chemotherapy in Cuba in 2011 and another operation in 2012. Although he had hoped to have recovered from his illness, he announced in December that he needed further cancer surgery in Cuba.

Iranian media on Thursday blamed the United States for Chavez’s death as part of a plot to kill off several Latin American leaders, who also have been stricken with cancer.

Ahmadinejad, who attended Chavez’s memorial service in Caracas Friday, implied in a letter of condolence to the interim president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, that Chavez would return alongside of Jesus.

“I have no doubt that he will return alongside all the righteous and Jesus,” Ahmadinejad wrote, “and the only remainder of the righteous generation, the complete human being, will come and help the nations with the establishment of peace, complete justice, kindness and evolvement.”

Sources in Iran report many Iranians celebrated Chavez’s death and were hopeful, with him gone and with Syrian President Bashar Assad on the verge of collapse, the clerical regime in Iran could be next.

The so-called “Gang of Eight” yesterday announced they were very close to coming up with an immigration reform bill.

Leading conservative Republicans, however—not the gaggle of RINOS that make up half of the Gang of Eight—point out that the immigration “reform” bill has a flaw: it will provide a back door for millions of illegal aliens to collect welfare.

The cost? Several trillion dollars.

That’s trillion with a “t.”

That would put our national debt above the “magic number” of twenty trillion, the point that many economists state is the tipping point of our economy. Tipping point meaning the U.S. economy would implode.

Add to this the fact that Obama is actually calling for a second Stimulus—as if a trillion dollars flushed down the toilet wasn’t enough.

Add to this the artificially high level of the stock market due to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s endless printing of money in which many are stating a crash is imminent—losing up to 90% of its value.

If one were a conspiracy theorist, it would seem like Barack Obama was actually trying to collapse the economy, putting us in a place like Cyprus where the EU is “taxing”—that is, confiscating—privately held bank accounts to the tune of 40% of their value.

This is an untold story about the Oslo or Israel-PLO Agreement, an agreement that surreptitiously heralded the advocacy of a “Palestinian” state in the Land of Israel.

It needs to be understood and emphasized that anyone, regardless of his subjective ideas or feelings, who supports the creation of an Arab-Islamic state in Judea and Samaria is OBJECTIVELY advocating Israel’s destruction. This applies even to an Israeli Prime Minister!

In support of this provocative statement, I offer certain demonstrable facts which indicate there is not a stitch of evidence that contradicts the Palestinian Authority’s commitment to destroy Israel.

This commitment, which is rooted in Islamic theology, is proclaimed in the PLO-Palestinian Charter. Any honest or decent human can see in that Charter the Muslim’s murderous hatred of Jews and Israel. This hatred permeates Palestinian propaganda. It is manifested in the education and military training of Arab children. This ghoulish hatred promises a continuation of the 20 years of Oslo terror that has murdered and maimed 15,000 Jewish women, men, and children.

What are we to say, therefore, of any Israeli or American statesman, who despite this horrendous evidence and bloodshed has the audacity to advocate the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria? Must we not deem this stance a confession of intellectual and moral decadence, as well as an insult to the intelligence of any decent human being?

The negotiations leading to the Oslo or Israel-PLO Agreement dignified evil and thus made Israel’s government complicit in the evil consequences that followed—confirming the prophecy of Isaiah regarding those who call evil good, and good evil. Woe, therefore, to those who continue the immoral policy of Oslo—the capital of a country that is becoming Judenrein.”

THE PALESTINIAN NATIONAL CHARTER:
July 1-17, 1968

Introduction

Before the Six day war, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), founded in 1964 and led by Ahmed Shukhairy, had been instrumental in helping to provoke conflict. Shukhairy himself gave a speech at the U.N. describing graphically what the PLO would do to Israel and its Jewish inhabitants if ‘it will be our privilege to strike the first blow.’

Shukhairy drafted a charter for the PLO that was ratified in 1964. In Arabic, the document is called “Al-Mithaq Al-Kawmee Al-Philisteeni.” Mithaq was at first translated as covenant, but later the word “charter” was adopted. Palestinians claim that “Al Kawmee” is untranslatable. It evidently implies that Palestinians are less than a nation in their own right, and are part of the Arab nation or Ouma. In later years, the Palestinians adopted the designation “Shaabi” for the Palestinian people.

Following the Six day war, the PLO was reorganized under the leadership of Yasser Arafat. In 1968, delegates met to redraft the PLO charter. The decline of prestige of Arab states caused by the war caused a shift in Palestinian thinking and produced, for the first time, a clear and consistent demand for a Palestinian state, rather than conquest of Palestine by Arab countries. The PLO charter of 1964, not a moderate document, was amended by adding four paragraphs and changing others. The main additions concern the reiterated call for armed struggle to eliminate Israel (“liberate Palestine”) and the change in the attitude to Jewish rights. The original version stated somewhat equivocally:

Article 7: Jews of Palestinian origin are considered Palestinians if they are willing to live peacefully and loyally in Palestine.

It is unclear if the above refers to Jews descended from families that lived in Palestine before the advent of Zionism, or to any Jews born in Israel, or what the status of Jews who have only one Palestinian Jewish parent.

The revised version was more explicit:

Article 6:The Jews who had normally resided in Palestine until the beginning of the Zionist invasion will be considered Palestinians.

Most such Jews “of Palestinian origin” or who had “normally resided in Palestine until the beginning of the Zionist invasion” (probably about 1880 had already died by 1968. Many of their descendants married Zionists. In any case, they are a tiny minority. About 100,000 Jews had lived in the area before 1914. Evidently the majority of the Jews were to be expelled or murdered, but their fate is not specified.

The charter speaks for itself. It calls for destruction of a member state of the UN, in violation of the UN charter. Nonetheless, the PLO was subsequently given observer status in the UN. The major and noteworthy features of both the 1964 and 1968 versions of the charter are:

1. Declaration of intent to destroy Israel and “liberate” all of Palestine:

Article 2:Palestine, with the boundaries it had during the British Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.

Article 3: The Palestinian Arab people possess the legal right to their homeland and have the right to determine their destiny after achieving the liberation of their country in accordance with their wishes and entirely of their own accord and will.

2. Defiance of UN General Assembly Resolution 181, which called for partition of Palestine:

Article 19: The partition of Palestine in 1947 and the establishment of the state of Israel are entirely illegal, regardless of the passage of time, because they were contrary to the will of the Palestinian people and to their natural right in their homeland, and inconsistent with the principles embodied in the Charter of the United Nations, particularly the right to self-determination.

The above is especially instructive given the Palestinian insistence on “international legitimacy.”

3. Denial of the historic connection of the Jews to the land:

Article 20: …Claims of historical or religious ties of Jews with Palestine are incompatible with the facts of history and the true conception of what constitutes statehood.

The above claim has been seconded by attempts of pro-Palestinian academics to erase or deny archeological and other evidence of Jewish habitation in Jerusalem and elsewhere in ancient times. For some reason, US President Clinton was surprised when PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat denied that Jews had lived in the land in ancient times. There was no occasion for surprise, as it is an article of the Palestinian charter and is central to the Palestinian national credo.

4. Denial of Jewish peoplehood and of the right to self-determination of the Jewish people:

Judaism, being a religion, is not an independent nationality. Nor do Jews constitute a single nation with an identity of its own; they are citizens of the states to which they belong.

This statement should be borne in mind when considering the outraged and self righteous protests by Palestinian Arabs when some Israelis deny that there is a Palestinian people or that there was a Palestinian people before 1948.

5. Implicit call for expulsion (“ethnic cleansing”) or extermination of most of the Jewish population of Israel, as embodied in the two versions of Article 6.

A national charter that is based primarily on negation of another people’s rights is remarkable in itself. But the revision of 1968 added another unique feature – express commitment to armed struggle. The Palestinians defined themselves and their national movement as a violent movement directed at destroying the nation state of another people:

Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine. This it is the overall strategy, not merely a tactical phase. The Palestinian Arab people assert their absolute determination and firm resolution to continue their armed struggle and to work for an armed popular revolution for the liberation of their country and their return to it…

Article 10: Commando action constitutes the nucleus of the Palestinian popular liberation war. This requires its escalation, comprehensiveness, and the mobilization of all the Palestinian popular and educational efforts and their organization and involvement in the armed Palestinian revolution.

Below is the complete and unabridged text of the original 1968 Palestinian National Covenant, as published officially in English by the PLO.* The charter was soon followed by a program for a “secular democratic state.” The word “secular” is significant, because it refers to the Palestinian assertion that the Jews are only a religion. In a “secular democratic state” the Jews, as a religion, would therefore have no political standing whatever.

The PLO program called for exile from Palestine of all Jews who had arrived after 1917 and their descendants. In PNA offices there is a plaque commemorating the original 18 signers of the Charter or Covenant, many of whom were eventually killed by the Israeli secret service after planning or participating in massacres such as that of the Munich Olympics in 1972, or at the hand of rival organizations.

Obviously these charters are incompatible with a peace agreement with Israel, and it was agreed between the parties to change them following The Oslo Declaration of Principles in 1993.

Under the leadership of the PNA and the Fatah, and under extreme pressure from Israel and the U.S., the PLO in fact held several meetings in which evidently some of the offending articles were repealed, with disputed legality.

In his letter of September 9, 1993 to Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Fatah leader and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat stated:

In view of the promise of a new era and the signing of the Declaration of Principles and based on Palestinian acceptance of Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338, the PLO affirms that those articles of the Palestinian Covenant which deny Israel’s right to exist, and the provisions of the Covenant which are inconsistent with the commitments of this letter are now inoperative and no longer valid. Consequently, the PLO undertakes to submit to the Palestinian National Council for formal approval the necessary changes in regard to the Palestinian Covenant.

In April 1996, the Palestine National Council, the legislative body of the PLO, met in Gaza and voted 504 to 54 to annul sections of the Palestinian National Charter that denied Israel’s right to exist, The meaning of the Palestinian vote and the importance attached to it is at best dubious:

The Palestinian National Council (PNC) finally did convene on 24 April 1996 and passed a resolution in which it “amended by canceling the articles that are contrary to the letters exchanged between the PLO and the Government of Israel” and assigned to a legal committee the task of redrafting the charter within six months. [Amendment Palestinian Covenant-Arafat Letter & Text – 4 May 1996, Information Division, Israel Foreign Ministry.] As of yet no so such body has fulfilled this task, and there have been no reports of such a committee meeting or working.

As explained by the speaker of the PNC, Salim Zaanoun, to the PNC during the April 24 session, structuring the resolution as it did was an attempt to “fulfill the commitment demanded at the lowest possible price.” [Jon Immanuel, “Fatah Report: Covenant Frozen, not Amended,” Jerusalem Post (22 May 1996).] It put off making the hard decisions until the legal committee completed its work. Although Palestinian leaders have continually proclaimed to Israel and the Western press that they fulfilled their obligation and nullified the articles at issue, in their internal documents and statements in Arabic they have suggested otherwise. An apparently authoritative internal publication issued by the “Research and Thought” division of Fatah in Ramallah in April 1996 clarifies that: “The text of the Palestinian National Covenant remains as it was and no changes whatsoever were made to it. The charter itself was not been formally changed or re-drafted. Some members of the PLO contended that the vote is invalid. On May 4, 1996, PNA Chairman Arafat sent a letter about the nullification of the charter provisions to Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres supposedly affirming the invalidation of the offending parts of the charter.

In January of 1998, Yasser Arafat wrote a letter to President Clinton, again claiming that the charter had been nullified. The letter was quite specific about what parts of the charter were nullified (see Letter of Assurance from PNA Chairman Yasser Arafat). The letter stated in part:

…The Palestine National Council’s resolution, in accordance with Article 33 of the Covenant, is a comprehensive amendment of the Covenant. All of the provisions of the Covenant which are inconsistent with the P.L.O. commitment to recognize and live in peace side by side with Israel are no longer in effect.

As a result, Articles 6-10,15, 19-23, and 30 have been nullified, and the parts in Articles 1-5, 11-14, 16-l8, 25-27 and 29 that are inconsistent with the above mentioned commitments have also been nullified…

In December 1998, the PLC met again in Gaza to meet the demand of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuthat the offending parts of the charter be formally revoked. US President Clinton attended the meeting. By acclamation, it reaffirmed the cancellation of those parts of the Charter which denied Israel’s right to exist, but it did not formally change or re-draft the Covenant. Farouk Kaddoumi, Foreign Minister of the PLO, stated in April of 2004 that the Covenant was never amended. (see http://www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=20533)

The revisions that were supposed to admit the legitimacy of Israel are not shown in any version of the Charter published by the Palestinian National Authority or the PLO. Palestinian Authority publications. PLO officials still insist that the Jews are not a people but a religion, and Palestinian educational programs teach, for example, that Haifa is the largest port in Palestine. The Web site of the Palestinian mission to the UN features a statement concerning the changes in the charter but it also displays the 1964 version of the Palestinian National Charter on a separate page, without comment as of December 2009. If the charter has been nullified and replaced by the Palestinian constitution, as some claim, it is highly irregular that charter is still displayed at an official PLO Web site. The PNA Basic Law or Palestinian constitution does not mention the Palestinian National Charter or claim that it is intended to replace or supersede it. The Web site of the Palestinian National Authority is non-functional at this date.

New reports may contradict former secretary’s sworn testimony

TEL AVIV – Did former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton commit perjury when she claimed in a Senate hearing that she did not know whether the U.S. mission in Libya was procuring or transferring weapons to Turkey and other Arab countries?

The goal of the alleged weapons shipments was to arm the rebels fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

Any training or arming of the Syrian rebels would be considered highly controversial. A major issue is the inclusion of jihadists, including al-Qaida, among the ranks of the Free Syrian Army and other Syrian opposition groups

During the recent hearings over the Obama administration’s handling of the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Clinton was directly asked about alleged U.S. weapons shipments out of Libya.

Clinton claimed she did not know whether the U.S. was aiding Turkey and other Arab countries in procuring weapons.

The exchange took place with Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.

Paul asked Clinton: “Is the U. S. involved with any procuring of weapons, transfer of weapons, buying, selling, anyhow transferring weapons to Turkey out of Libya?”

“To Turkey?” Clinton asked. “I will have to take that question for the record. Nobody has ever raised that with me.”

Continued Paul: “It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that may have weapons, and what I’d like to know is the annex that was close by, were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons, and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries, any countries, Turkey included?”

Clinton replied, “Well, Senator, you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. I will see what information is available.”

“You’re saying you don’t know?” asked Paul.

“I do not know,” Clinton said. “I don’t have any information on that.”

Clinton’s claims seem to now be unraveling.

Confirming WND’s exclusive reporting for over a year, the New York Times earlier this week reported that since early 2012, the CIA has been aiding Arab governments and Turkey in obtaining and shipping weapons to the Syrian rebels.

Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND have said U.S.-aided weapons shipments go back more than a year, escalating before the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. facilities in Benghazi.

In fact, the Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND since last year describe the U.S. mission in Benghazi and nearby CIA annex attacked last September as an intelligence and planning center for U.S. aid to the rebels in the Middle East, particularly those fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

The aid, the sources stated, included weapons shipments and was being coordinated with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The specifics of the New York Times reporting, meanwhile, open major holes in Clinton’s sworn claims to be in the dark about the alleged weapons shipments.

U.S. officials speaking on condition of anonymity told the Times that American intelligence officers have helped the Arab governments shop for weapons and then helped to vet rebel commanders and groups to determine who should receive the weapons as they arrive.

The plan mirrors one the Times reported last month in a separate article that was proposed by Clinton herself. The Times described Clinton as one of the driving forces advocating for arming the Syrian rebels.

Last month, the New York Times reported Clinton and then-CIA Director David Petraeus had concocted a plan calling for vetting rebels and arming Syrian fighters with the assistance of Arab countries.

The Times report from earlier this week of U.S. arms shipments and vetting seems to be the Clinton-Petraeus plan put in action.

It may be difficult for most to believe the secretary of state was not aware that her alleged plan was being implemented, especially when arming the Syrian rebels is a serious policy with obvious major repercussions internationally.

Clinton is not the only one in hot water.

As WND reported yesterday, the New York Times report threatens the longstanding White House narrative that claims the Obama administration has only supplied nonlethal aid to the rebels.

The White House has repeatedly denied directly arming the rebels.

Recruiting jihadists

Days after the Benghazi attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, WND broke the story that Stevens himself played a central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Assad’s regime in Syria, according to Egyptian and other Middle Eastern security officials.

Stevens served as a key contact with the Saudis to coordinate the recruitment by Saudi Arabia of Islamic fighters from North Africa and Libya. The jihadists were sent to Syria via Turkey to attack Assad’s forces, said the security officials.

The officials said Stevens also worked with the Saudis to send names of potential jihadi recruits to U.S. security organizations for review. Names found to be directly involved in previous attacks against the U.S., including in Iraq and Afghanistan, were ultimately not recruited by the Saudis to fight in Syria, said the officials.

The latest New York Times report has bolstered WND’s reporting, citing air traffic data, interviews with officials in several countries and the accounts of rebel commanders describing how the CIA has been working with Arab governments and Turkey to sharply increase arms shipments to Syrian rebels in recent months.

The Times reported that the weapons airlifts began on a small scale in early 2012 and continued intermittently through last fall, expanding into a steady and much heavier flow late last year, the data shows.

The Times further revealed that from offices at “secret locations,” American intelligence officers have helped the Arab governments shop for weapons, including a large procurement from Croatia. They have vetted rebel commanders and groups to determine who should receive the weapons as they arrive.

The CIA declined to comment to the Times on the shipments or its role in them.

The Times quoted a former American official as saying that David H. Petraeus, the CIA director until November, had been instrumental in helping set up an aviation network to fly in the weapons. The paper said Petraeus had prodded various countries to work together on the plan.

Petraeus did not return multiple emails from the Times asking for comment.

Both WND’s reporting, which first revealed the U.S.-coordinated arms shipments, and the Times reporting starkly contrast with statements from top U.S. officials who have denied aiding the supply of weapons to the rebels.

Rebel training

It’s not the first time WND’s original investigative reporting on U.S. support for the Syrian rebels was later confirmed by reporting in major media outlets. Other WND reporting indicates support for the Syrian rebels that goes beyond supplying arms, painting a larger picture of U.S. involvement in the Middle East revolutions.

A story by the German weekly Der Spiegel earlier this month reporting the U.S. is training Syrian rebels in Jordan was exclusively exposed by WND 13 months ago.

Quoting what it said were training participants and organizers, Der Spiegel reported it was not clear whether the Americans worked for private firms or were with the U.S. Army, but the magazine said some organizers wore uniforms.

The training in Jordan reportedly focused on use of anti-tank weaponry.

The German magazine reported some 200 men received the training over the previous three months amid U.S. plans to train a total of 1,200 members of the Free Syrian Army in two camps in the south and the east of Jordan.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper also reported U.S. trainers were aiding Syrian rebels in Jordan along with British and French instructors.

Reuters reported a spokesman for the U.S. Defense Department declined immediate comment on the Der Spiegel report. The French foreign ministry and Britain’s foreign and defense ministries also would not comment to Reuters.

While Der Spiegel quoted sources discussing training of the rebels in Jordan over the last three months, WND was first to report the training as far back as February 2012.

At the time, WND quoted knowledgeable Egyptian and Arab security officials claimed the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi in the country’s northern desert region.

Back in July 2012, a full 9 months ago, this blog asserted: World War 3 Place markers are being set up, chiefly through Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s Mid East fires, as well as attendant foreign policy blunders/blinders. Nine months time is barely a drop in the bucket, at least in historical terms, but in the forever fiery cauldron of the Mid East, not so much.

In this regard, the world is transfixed as the North Korean man-child threatens to wipe nations off the face of the earth, and this is indeed a precursor to World War 3. In tandem, the Iranian Hitler has his back, as expected. The two are inextricably linked, whether or not the (ideologically) blind as a bat POTUS wants to admit as much. Nevertheless, the leader of the free world will no longer be able to ignore his own handiwork, and its grave consequences. As such, a re-read of the following (July 12, 2012) is more than necessary –

“A natural inclination is to close ones eyes and muffle ones ears, when terrifying truths are being discussed. But ones self induced blindness will not change the damnable facts. They are what they are.

And so, on Friday, April 5, Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri stepped forward to point the finger at Washington:
[“The presence of the Americans in [South] Korea has been the root cause of tensions in this sensitive region in the past and present. The US and its allies will suffer great losses if a war breaks out in this region,” he said, adding for good measure: “Independent countries will not submit to the US mischief. The time for Washington’s bullying and extortion is long past.”

DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources: The second part of the statement was a perfect fit for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s flat refusal to accept US demands on Iran’s nuclear program. The Korean crisis gave the Iranians the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.

So long as the Obama administration sticks to its current separate policies on Syria and Iran, Iran and Korea, Moscow and Beijing won’t lift a finger to apply the brakes to Kim Jong-Un before he drives the world to catastrophe.
