‘DHS insider: It’s about to get very ugly’

Something quite unexpected happened just hours ago, in the dark of night, during a two-day layover in Washington, DC. My son and I are scheduled to take part in a seminar outside of Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend, so we combined our travels to include a side-trip to DC for a business meeting we had previously arranged. It was during this layover that something seemingly ripped from the pages of a spy novel took place.

While I was in the middle of a perfectly good and well needed sleep in the very early hours of this morning, I received a message. I cannot disclose how I received this message, at least not now. The discerning reader will understand why, which, by the way, would make a very interesting story alone. The message was extremely clear and precise. I was to meet my high level DHS insider at a very specific location in Washington, DC at a time when most “normal” people, except third-shift workers are still asleep. And, I was to come alone and make certain that I was not being followed, and I was to leave any cell phone or electronic device behind.

Seriously? I thought, as I was still trying to make sense of it all. Is all this really necessary? Is this really happening? I considered waking my son to accompany me, but opted to follow the instructions to the letter. Besides, I thought, he’s not the most affable middle-of-the-night person. I left a hastily written but detailed note in my hotel room before my departure in the event something happened. I looked at the digital clock on my rental car (my personal car would never survive our long distance trip). It was 3:20 a.m.

The meeting

I felt like I was part of a spy movie set in our nation’s capital. A chill rose up my spine as I waited in the dark of a chilly, misty and foggy pre-dawn morning. I was to meet with my DHS insider source at a time when most of the nation is asleep, at a place I could swear was featured in the movie All the President’s Men. No one and I mean no one knows I’m here, I thought, as I could see one of the most recognizable national landmarks in the distance.

My source appeared out of nowhere, or so it seemed, and handed me a cup of coffee with the astute observation that I looked like I needed it. So tell me, I asked impatiently, why do we have to meet at this time, at this location, and under such specific circumstances? “Because this might be our last meeting,” he stated.

Maybe it was the lack of sleep, the time, the place, or the chill of the misty rain that caused my sense of foreboding. “Explain,” I asked in an almost demanding tone. So he did, without mincing words.

The details

“If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional. If people think that this ‘scandal’ can’t get any worse, it will, hour by hour, day by day. This has the ability to bring down our national leadership, the administration and other senior elected officials working in collusion with this administration, both Republican and Democrats. People within the NSA, the Department of Justice, and others, they know who they are, need to come forth with the documentation of ‘policy and practice’ in their possession, disclose what they know, fight what’s going on, and just do their job. I have never seen anything like this, ever. The present administration is going after leakers, media sources, anyone and everyone who is even suspected of ‘betrayal.” That’s what they call it, ‘betrayal.’ Can you believe the size of their cahones? This administration considers anyone telling the truth about Benghazi, the IRS, hell, you name the issue, ‘betrayal,’” he said.

“We know all this already,” I stated. He looked at me, giving me a look like I’ve never seen, and actually pushed his finger into my chest. “You don’t know jack,” he said, “this is bigger than you can imagine, bigger than anyone can imagine. This administration is collecting names of sources, whistle blowers and their families, names of media sources and everybody they talk to and have talked to, and they already have a huge list. If you’re not working for MSNBC or CNN, you’re probably on that list. If you are a website owner with a brisk readership and a conservative bent, you’re on that list. It’s a political dissident list, not an enemy threat list,” he stated.

“What’s that exactly mean, being on that list, that is,” I asked, trying to make sense of it all.

“It means that there will be censorship under the color of authority of anyone in the U.S. who is attempting to expose what’s going on in our name. It’s about controlling any damning information from reaching epidemic proportions. It’s damage control to the extreme. It’s about the upcoming censorship of the internet in the name of national security. The plans are already in place. These latest reports about “spying eyes” have turned this administration and others connected to it into something very, very dangerous. They feel cornered and threatened, and I’m hearing about some plans they have to shut down the flow of information that is implicating them of wrongdoing. Time is short,” he stated.

“How are they going to do this? How is it even possible?” I asked.

“First, they intend to use the Justice Department to silence journalists like in the Rosen case, but they won’t stop there. They will use a host of national security policies, laws, letters, whatever to take out the bigger threats,” he stated.

Next, they will use some sort of excuse, an external threat, and I believe it will be a combination of the economic collapse and a Mid-East war that will begin in Syria to throttle the information that is accessible on the Internet. And you know what? People will believe it!”

Based on what I’ve seen, most of which I should not have seen, the DHS is co-ordinating efforts with other federal agencies to begin to threaten American citizens with incarceration for non-compliance. You know the old talk of color coded lists? Well, this is what they will be using. People exposing the truth about Benghazi, killing the U.S. Dollar, even those questioning Obama’s legal status and eligibility to be President are the current targets. And they’ve had five long years to get to this point. The ugly truth is that these policies and practices did not start under Obama, but long before. This is about the killing of our Constitutional Republic. The murder of our country and the stripping of our rights. While many have been preoccupied with one issue, few have seen the bigger issue. This is the ‘end game,’ for all the marbles,” he stated.

“Please,” pleaded my source, “get this information out while you can. Tell people what I’m saying, that we don’t have much time, that after the latest exposure of spying, Obama, Jarrett, Axelrod, and others, including members of Congress, have put their plans into high gear. This is about the Marxist takeover of America. This is about our country being able to survive another July 4th holiday. This is about a world war about to break out that will kill millions of people, all because of the agenda of this administration.”

“They are very dangerous and will do anything and everything to stop the onslaught of negative information that’s being reported by the main stream media. My source provided additional information, but I am abiding by his wish to get this much out. I am writing now to let people know that we are in for seriously dangerous times ahead.  Deadly times. As IRSgate heats up, Benghazigate alike and DOJ too, investigators/journalists from the alternative media are increasingly within NSA’s (DHS’s) surveillance net. Gaubatz audited after book exposed CAIR tax fraud

In a strange twist of fate, it appears that in 2009 the IRS targeted Iraq War veteran David Gaubatz who was involved in exposing the HAMAS front group Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Based upon Gaubatz’s book Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret World that’s Conspiring to Islamize America, Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., and other congressional leaders asked the IRS to investigate CAIR. Gaubatz’s book called attention to CAIR’s missing IRS filings and foreign donations.

World Net Daily reports, “At the same time the Internal Revenue Service delayed or denied requests for tax-exempt status from hundreds of conservative non-profit groups, it was quietly restoring the tax-exempt status of an Islamist front group accused of collaborating with terrorists. Last year, the politicized agency reinstated the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations’ tax-exempt status despite years of delinquent tax filings. CAIR officials had met with officials inside the White House before the decision was made.”

In an email to WDW Gaubatz states, “Once my book (Muslim Mafia) came out in 2009, I got a letter from the IRS for an audit. They wanted a copy of my book, info about the Center for Security Policy, World Net Daily, etc… and then slammed me with a $146,000 tax bill. I had always completed my taxes on time and paid what I owed. I had two accountants go through my tax info, and in actuality the IRS owed me, but I am too small to fight the govt. Now they take it out of my disability pension (from war in Iraq).”

Gaubatz notes, “Anna Prillaman (IRS Tax Compliance Officer from Richmond, VA office) was reviewing my book Muslim Mafia, and wanted to know exactly which mosques I visited in 2007 and 2008…The IRS insisted I list the individual mosques.” Prillaman gave Gaubatz 15 days to respond to the tax bill.

World Net Daily notes, “Though Democrat-connected CAIR did not officially endorse Obama, many of its staffers helped turn out the Muslim vote for his re-election. CAIR boasted that its own polling showed more than 85 percent of Muslim-Americans voted for Obama. In 2011, the IRS stripped the group’s national office of its nonprofit status for failure to file annual tax reports as required by federal law.”

“During the years CAIR failed to disclose its donors to the government, it solicited funds from Libya, Sudan and other terror-sponsoring foreign governments, according to ‘Muslim Mafia‘. CAIR is not registered as a foreign agent. CAIR repeatedly failed to file its annual disclosure report, IRS Form 990. CAIR blames a clerical error for the delinquency and claims to have completed the forms. However, several news organizations, including Politico.com and Gannett Co., have asked CAIR for the 2007-2010 documents, and CAIR has not been able to produce them,” states World Net Daily.

CAIR’s is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing case, this failure to comply with federal disclosure laws is all the more troubling,” U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf, the co-chairman of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, wrote the IRS in a separate request for investigation in 2011.

World Net Daily found:

CAIR’s terrorist ties run deep. The Justice Department lists it among U.S. front groups for Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization. And several CAIR officials have been convicted or deported on terrorism-related charges.

The FBI says that until suspicious ties between the leadership of CAIR and that of Hamas are resolved, it will no longer work with CAIR as a partner in counter-terrorism efforts.

Despite these red flags, the IRS in June 2012 sent CAIR-Foundation Inc. a letter stating the controversial nonprofit had regained its tax-exempt status as a 501(c)3. At the same time, the IRS demanded tea party and other patriot groups turn over donor rolls, membership lists and contacts with political figures, among other things, before the agency would consider granting tax-exempt status to them.

CAIR Foundation, which is listed at the same 453 New Jersey Ave. address as CAIR’s national headquarters in Washington, told the Washington Post that “all the paperwork issues have been resolved” concerning the organization.

However, WND has obtained CAIR-Foundation Inc.’s latest filing, and even this tax document is incomplete. It is a partial return for the calendar year 2011, covering only the period from Aug. 9, 2011, to Dec. 31, 2011. The final page of the return, in fact, requests an extension from the IRS.

“Additional time is required to obtain information necessary in filing a complete and accurate return,” states CAIR’s accountant Joey Musmar.

The filing says the organization solicited $3,964,990 in gifts, grants and other contributions that “were not tax deductible.” An annual fundraiser raised a net $106,879.

At the beginning of 2011, CAIR’s liabilities exceeded its assets by $940,279.

It also owed “CAIR Inc.” $722,261 for “charity consulting.” This amount is listed as a “loan.” CAIR Inc. is listed as a “C Corp.”

CAIR insists its tax returns for 2007-2010 exist. Yet it still won’t produce them, despite repeated requests. According to the IRS, nonprofits must make their tax returns available to the public upon request.

CAIR lists Todd Gallinger, director of chapter development, as its contact for such matters, at (202) 488-8787 and tgallinger@cair.com.

It’s not clear what, if anything, the IRS investigated concerning CAIR’s filings. The agency did not respond to requests for comment.

EVERY generation has its burden to bear, and most are familiar with the hell on earth wrought by Hitler’s totalitarian regime and its onerous consequences for the world. Most significantly, failure to stop his evil designs wiped out half of world Jewry, and other “undesirables” similarly died under his boot! YET, even though many of the signs were evident, well before millions were burned in his furnaces, few stood up to be counted, while they could. And we all know how said silence turned out, as a result, many millions were thrown into the crematoriums with barely a whimper from within and without Europe.

Of course, the Iranian regime is seen as the current Hitlerite incarnation, but this is self evident because its leadership continually promises to wipe out half of world Jewry, as well as others who thwart their hegemonic designs. ‘Surveillance & Intimidation by the Obama regime’ – Northeast Intelligence Network’

4 June 2013: I have been outspoken about Barack Hussein Obama (a/k/a Barry Soetoro) and his list of lies and deception, but have not limited my investigation and criticism to him or his administration alone. I have, however, reported extensively on the murderous attacks at Benghazi and the entanglement of lies involved in that attack. Thus, staying clear of said offender should be at the apex of one’s list. Former UN Ambassador John Bolton blasted the Obama administration today for intentionally leaking information on Israel’s secret military alliance with Azerbaijan. Bolton was on FOX News today to discuss the Obama Administration’s latest attack on Israel.

 According to a Foreign Policy report based on “four senior diplomats and military intelligence officers” Azerbaijan has given Israel permission to land planes on Azeri airfields after an attack on Iranian nuclear sites. The Obama Administration leaked this information putting the alliance in jeopardy and endangering the Israeli nation.

And, the Jerusalem Post also blamed the Obama Administration for the sensitive leaks.

‘Foreign Policy’ claims Azerbaijan granted Israel access to air bases along Iran’s northern border for potential use in strike.

Leaks regarding Israeli plans to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities continued Thursday, raising suspicion within the political and defense establishment that the Obama administration was intentionally trying to undermine potential military action.

The first report appeared in Bloomberg and, citing a Congressional Research Service (CRS) report, said that Iran would be able to recover from a military strike against its centrifuge fabrication plants within six months…

…In another report, Foreign Policy claimed that Azerbaijan had granted Israel access to air bases along Iran’s northern border for potential use in a military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities.

“The Israelis have bought an airfield,” the report quoted an unnamed US official as saying, “and the airfield is called Azerbaijan.”

How many spend quality time around the toddler set, you know those cutie patooties who are learning to speak (understanding more than most realize), yet often come out with pearls of wisdom? You might rightfully wonder: What do toddlers have to say, they can hardly string a full sentence together? Well, sometimes “out of the mouth of babes” really strikes a deep chord, and this is one such point in time.

So while “negotiating” with a nearest and dearest from the very same toddler set, was caught dumbstruck when the little one exhorted to a (seemingly reasonable) request with: “blah, blah, blah!” In effect, even while still learning to talk, he understood that the way to shut down the conversation was to make it known – from the get go – that he doesn’t accept said terms of the discussion and wasn’t having any more of it . He turned his back and toddled away! Surely others have had similar experiences, but what does this personal anecdote have to do with the “price of tea in China”? Everything.

In the west’s fruitless, toothless and insane quest to “tame” the Islamic beast, they have come up with nothing more than (less than even temporary) ploys to bribe Muslims to behave in a civilized manner. However, Allah’s adherents are having none of it, and in word and deed they are giving the west the “blah, blah, blah” treatment on behalf of their Ummah – “The Arabic word umma , derived from umm (‘mother’), is a term used in Islam to denote the worldwide community of the faithful. Not if you’ve heard former U.S. Ambassador John Bolton on FOX News, or better, read his book Surrender is Not an Option (2007), where he anticipated Obama’s powder puff policy toward Iran.  Bolton is not an academic lapdog diplomat ala Pickering. He has taken on the State Department: said it’s dominated by moral relativists. Reminds me of 1933, when Ivy League academics urged the Roosevelt Administration to recognize the Soviet Union despite its blatant commitment to America’s destruction.
 
Remember Soviet dictator Khrushchev’ boast “We’ll bury you!”  It’s reverberating in Iran, whose dictator gleefully boats “Death to America!”
American diplomats tainted by the university-bred doctrine of moral relativism would be out of a job if they took such threats seriously. Indeed, if the State Department was not so tainted by what Bolton calls “moral equivalence,” State would not be so liberal granting the likes of the Boston Marathon Bombers free rides in America. Nothing new about State’s ethical neutrality.
 
The same most highly educated department of American government advocated diplomatic relations with Iraq, a military despotism headed by the butcher of Baghdad, Saddam Hussein. Juxtapose the Iraqi study group of 2006. Included was the Polish-born Harvard professor Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski, reputedly an anti-Semite, served as Billy Carter’s National Security adviser. But get this. His book Political Power US-USSR reveals him as a moral relativist. He advocated a non-ideological foreign policy even toward the Soviet Union!
 
“Accommodation” with the country of the Gulag concentration camps was both the advice of his books and the policy of the humanistic Carter Administration. Unsurprisingly, Brzezinski, an internationalist, had the ear of the “cosmopolitan” Barack Obama in 2008. Brzezinski harbors the crypto-Marxist dogma that all ideological conflicts are irrational, that to risk death and destruction in the name of doctrines having no absolute or universal validity is absurd. This dogma underlies the concept of “conflict resolution” which permeates political science departments even to the extent to having a home in the Begin-Sadat Center at Bar-Ilan University. It is remarkable how democracies dignify despots.
 
Be that as it may, Obama, like Brzezinski, has been in bed with Jew-haters and Islamophiles for years. Suffice it to mention Louis Farrakhan and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Obama attended Wright’s church for 20 years, despite the pastor’s brazen anti-Americanism. No wonder: Obama is the only American presidential candidate to have been endorsed by Hamas, Israel’s mortal enemy! And this is not all.
 
Recall Daniel Kurtzer, U.S. ambassador to Israel from 2001 to 2005. Kurtzer received his Ph.D. from Columbia University, at which Barack Obama was a student. Like many universities, Columbia was a seedbed of moral relativism. It was also a venue for the “New Left.”
 
Kurtzer not only advocated a Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital. He advocated a contiguous Palestinian state connected with Gaza, the effect of which would split Israel in two. How remarkable! Kurtzer studied at Yeshiva University, where I once served as a visiting professor. I was astonished by the moral relativism free-floating and virtually unnoticed at that reputedly orthodox religious institution. So I was not astonished by Kurtzer’s orthodox religious reputation. Relativism, the mental disorder of democracy’s old-age, emasculates academics, many of whom enter government and become useful idiots. Would it be inappropriate to say that a member of that madding crowd now occupies the Oval Office?
 
Does its occupant really believe that Pickering can pull a rabbit out of Iran?  Or, has he been afflicted by a syndrome common to capitalists and socialists alike, that Muslims can be bought?

14 May 2013: Every American gun owner, regardless of the state in which you live, is presently or will be the target of gun confiscation. A state-by-state framework of confiscation is being erected in front of us all to strip us of our rights under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Proof of this nefarious intent of disarming citizens was serendipitously caught by a “hot” microphone at the conclusion of the May 9, 2013 meeting of the New Jersey State Legislature.

At the conclusion of the New Jersey Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee meeting last Thursday, an open microphone caught three state senators, identified by voice as Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, Assistant Majority Leader Sandra Cunningham, Senate Majority Whip Linda Greenstein, and at least one staff member talking candidly about their intent to confiscate all guns from the people they serve. It should be noted that Senator Loretta Weinberg is the chief proponent of the anti-gun legislation being moved through the New Jersey State Senate.

For anyone doubting the bitter contempt these legislators hold for gun owners and pro-Constitutionalists, a YouTube video that captured the “open microphone moment” is available for review here.Although some of the candid conversation is a bit difficult to discern due to the ambient noise, their message is clear. “We need[ed] a bill that was going to confiscate, confiscate, confiscate,”stated one high ranking senate member. “They don’t care about the bad guys.  All they want to do is have their ‘little guns’ and do whatever they want with them,” added another in an obviously demeaning manner. Another conceded that gun owners do, in fact, want to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, but added that “they don’t have any regulations to do it.” Oh really?

During the second hour of The Hagmann & Hagmann Report that aired last night, we interviewed the highly credentialed Scott Bach, Esq., Executive Director of the Association of the New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs who explained the draconian laws being written and passed in the State of New Jersey. “Clearly, this is about nothing less than disarming the American public, and the current battleground is in New Jersey,”  stated Mr. Bach. “You might not be experiencing it in your state… yet, but you will. It’s just a matter of time.”

We must do everything we can to preserve, protect and defend our Second Amendment rights, or we will lose much more. Regardless of where you live, the fight is coming to you, if it has not yet arrived. We must be proactive, and yes, we can make our voices heard to counter the utter contempt of these lawmakers regardless of your state of residence – while we still have the chance. Let’s hold these opponents to our constitutional rights accountable for their words and actions.

Noble Peace Prize nominee and humanitarian Dr. Jim Garrow is not known for outrageous accusations. Dedicated to his humanitarian work, he has not ventured into the spotlight for a moment other than to write a book about the trouble of China’s one-child policy. That has changed as he has recently divulged information he says he received from a former senior military leader in the Obama Administration.

Garrow announced,

“I have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using a new ‘litmus test’ in determining who will stay and who must go in his military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. ‘The new litmus test of leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.’ Those who will not are being removed.”

Dr. Jim Garrow has spent the last 16 years rescuing baby girls from the harsh realities and near-certain death of China’s one-child-per-couple rule. From his efforts to raise awareness of the problem and his willingness to facilitate the adoption of these infants, it is estimated that he has saved 40,000 babies and has been considered for a Nobel Peace Prize. While he has not released who his source is, Garrow has maintained a pretty low profile and seems to not be associated with any fringe ideologies.

It is a bold accusation, but one that fits into a bigger picture. As America becomes, arguably, more and more polarized, states have discussed secession and state and county officials all across the country have publicly claimed that they will refuse to enforce executive orders that violate the Second Amendment.

Whether one agrees that America should be so polarized or not, the fact remains that this revelation comes at a time when America is deeply divided on a variety of issues ranging from gun rights to the basic question of how to solve any one of our fiscal crises. With such deep divides, the issue of secession has been discussed and people all across the country have expressed worry at a looming federal presence.

Added to the volatile mix of ideologies is the recent executive orders that were aimed at enacting gun control measures and the near-constant threat of outright bans on many firearms. Such speculation has fueled dissent and discussion amongst mainstream Americans as to how far the government ought to be allowed to go.

The Washington Free Beacon recently reported that the head of Central Command, Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis is being dismissed by President Obama and will leave his post in March. While unwilling to divulge the source, Garrow stated, “The man who told me this is one of America’s foremost military heroes.”

If what Garrow says is true, than this is sure to rouse anger and distrust from conservatives across the country who have accused the president of exceeding his authority on numerous occasions and have voiced concern over sweeping policies that are of dubious legalities. If Obama is preparing to stock his inner-circle with only those that will follow his orders beyond what should rightfully be expected from soldiers who have sworn to protect this nation, than America may see a turbulent four years.

The true irony of Obama’s presidency is that while reports such as the aforementioned have surfaced and as drone attacks continue across the globe and families mourn the loved ones lost as a result of the Justice Department’s flood of weapons to Mexican cartels, President Obama actually received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

The issue of Internal Revenue Service agents carrying weapons may warrant further scrutiny amid the nationwide distrust of the agency for targeting conservative organizations.

The IRS is also the chief enforcer of Obamacare requirements.

In 2010, the Federal Business Opportunities website posted an IRS request for a quote on the price of shotguns for the agency’s Criminal Investigation Division.

The site sought a quote for 60 Remington Model 870 Police 12-gauge pump-action shotguns, the only weapons authorized for IRS duty.

The IRS Criminal Division includes roughly 2,700 special agents who are required to carry a firearm.

According to the basic qualifications for a position as an IRS special agent for the criminal division, “applicants must carry and use a firearm.”

In October 2012, J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration, released a report charging IRS agents need more thorough firearms training and must better report accidental firings of their guns.

“Special agents not properly trained in the use of firearms could endanger the public, as well as their fellow special agents, and expose the IRS to potential litigation over injuries or damages,” George said at the time.

George said IRS agents accidentally fired their weapons 11 times during fiscal years 2009 through fiscal 2011.

‘Right wing’ fear mongering?

When the IRS publicly sought the 60 shotguns in 2010, the progressive activist group Media Matters for America attacked what it labeled the “right-wing blogosphere” for “baselessly fear monger[ing]” over the IRS weapons issue.

Media Matters blasted the popular Drudge Report for its Feb. 3, 2010, headline “The IRS is buying shotguns!”

American Thinker blogger Ralph Alter said of the IRS weapons request: “It looks like the IRS under the Obama administration is getting serious about improving its ability to collect taxes and enforce the tax codes.”

Radio host Tammy Bruce was also spotlighted by Media Matters after she posted on her blog the IRS request for a quote on weapons and commented: “Nothing warms me up in the morning like the idea that the IRS is preparing a swat team equipped with pump-action shotguns. I guess [Obama] thinks they’re gonna have to start shooting at us to squeeze what we have left out of us?” She concluded: “Give us your money or we’ll shoot!”

Mark Levin gets a visit

Earlier this month, national radio host Mark Levin revealed on his show that he received a visit from armed Treasury Department agents after penning a March 2012 letter complaining the IRS was targeting tea party organizations.

Levin noted the two Treasury officials who visited him were “armed” and carrying weapons by claiming “we’re law enforcement.”

Earlier this month, Josh Margolin of ABC News reported that journalists touring the IRS offices in Cincinnati were “escorted” by an armed federal officer.

“The fact is the trust in the IRS is gone,” Rep. Tom Graves, R-Ga, said at a speech yesterday. “The American people have lost trust in this organization and rightfully so.”

Social media postings that ‘violate civil rights’ subject to federal jurisdiction

Bloggers beware. And those who use email, too. And those on Facebook. And Twitter. And anyone else using social media: Diss a Muslim and the Department of Justice will be on your case with the full weight of federal law.

The Obama administration, which is launching a series of Muslim Outreach Summits so that Islamists can tell federal officials how they better can serve that community, says it also is holding educational outreaches to let people know that Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal prosecution.

Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, is scheduled to appear at an event sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee next week, and will “provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media,” according to a report in the Tullahoma News in Tennessee.

“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” he said. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”

He said everyone needs to understand that Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal jurisdiction.

After all, he said, while some Muslims may blow up buildings, hijack airliners and kill thousands, there are terrorists of other religions, too.

“[Oklahoma City bombers] Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were both Christians as was the guy who shot up the Sikh temple [in Wisconsin],” Killian claimed.

The federal strategy immediately made the “Corruption Chronicles” feature assembled by officials at Judicial Watch, the corruption-fighting activists in Washington.

“In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights,” the organization said.

Judicial Watch noted that the Obama administration already has reached out to personally reassure Muslims that the DOJ is protecting them. In that unprecedented move, Attorney General Eric Holder assured a San Francisco-based group called Muslim Advocates, which urges members not to cooperate with federal investigations, that he is grateful to have Muslims with which to partner.

The Obama administration also has hired a special Homeland Security adviser, Mohamed Elibiary, who openly supports an Islamist theologian who condemns U.S. prosecutions of terrorists, Judicial Watch said.

And the president has ordered the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to focus on Muslim diplomacy and officials with Homeland Security covertly have met with extremist Arab, Muslim and Sikh groups to talk about national security matters.

The State Department lent its weight by sending anti-America imam Feisal Abdul Rauf on a trip to the Middle East for outreach to Muslims.

Explained Judicial Watch, “Over the years, the Obama administration has embarked on a fervent crusade to befriend Muslims by creating a variety of outreach programs at a number of key federal agencies.”

Tullahoma News said Killian wants to let people know about Muslim culture and civil rights laws.

“We want to inform everybody about what the law is, but more importantly, we want to provide what the law means to Muslims, Hindus and every other religion in the country.

“It’s why we came here in the first place,” he continued. “In England, they were using Christianity to further their power in government. That’s why the First Amendment is there.”

WND had reported just a day earlier on the “Muslim Outreach Summits.”

WND initially discovered documents referring to the Muslim summits while examining a U.S. Department of Education procurement of data-gathering and report-writing services.

The services are specific to information being assembled by the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, or WHIAAPI, which Obama created via executive order in 2009.

Upon closer inspection, however, WND learned that the Education Department explicitly will direct the selected contractor to chronicle findings and recommendations gleaned from the Muslim Outreach Summits.

The White House views this year’s venues as an extension of a previous outreach to “new immigrants and refugees – some of the most underserved in the AAPI community,” according to a document titled “WHIAAPI 2013 Faith-Based and Community Engagement.”

Complementing the prior effort will be the three “regional convenings,” tentatively scheduled June 15 in Chicago, June 22 in San Francisco and June 29 in New York City.

“These cities are main AAPI immigrant hubs and entry points for new immigrants/refugees,” according to a related document, “Questions Received from Vendors: Development and Preparation of the AAPI Annual Report to the President.”

“Each convening with [sic] include panel discussions/workshops with federal officials on key issues impacting the community and also an open-dialogue session to hear directly from the community about issues of concern.”

Sometime after the three Muslim Outreach Summits, the chosen contractor will develop and then present its summary report to the president and to newly appointed WHIAAPI commissioners.

The contracting action – the first of its kind since its inception in 2008 – will help lay the foundation for the initiative’s future work, the document says.

‘Is Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Aiding and Abetting the Enemy?’

Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley – a highly decorated combat commander – was fired from his position by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for teaching a course designed to educate soldiers about how to fight back against Islam and Jihad. In essence, Dooley was right on at least two very basic fronts. 1.) He was helping soldiers defend their nation against the biggest threat it faces and 2.) He was arming them with knowledge to protect themselves in the battle.As such, Dempsey is knowingly putting the men under his command in danger; this is a very serious offense that highlights everything a General should not be. He is supposed to put the safety of his men above himself and certainly above his own career.This incident epitomizes the serious trouble this country is in unless Obama and his thugs are impeached, tried, convicted, and removed from power. The Benghazi scandal highlights the dangers of our failed and foolish security policies. The administration’s failure to protect Americans there is a model Dempsey appears to have adopted in firing Dooley.Failure to secure and arm the compound in Benghazi is no different from failing to secure and arm the military itself with the tools necessary to identify and fight the enemy.Benghazi also presents a vital opportunity to possibly drive these people from political power. The big two-part question now is this: Does the GOP have the courage to follow through and will the media find some intellectual curiosity?On May 6th, former U.S. Congressman, Lt. Col. Allen West interviewed Lt. Dooley’s legal representative – Richard Thompson of the Thomas More Law Center – to discuss the case:So, instead of firing Dooley, shouldn’t Dempsey have perhaps read the words of the Muslim Brotherhood’s top cleric, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, for example? Shouldn’t we let the words of Islam dictate what Dooley teaches against? Here is an excerpt from an article Walid wrote for World Net Daily in 2011:

Infiltrate and conquer is the new motto of Islam and not “condemn violence especially under Islamic mottos,” as Qaradawi stated.Qaradawi even takes offense when the West compartmentalizes Islam into “radical” and “moderate”:

Qaradawi admonishes the West and corrects this view: “We do not know why they invent such divisions that are rejected in Islam. The truth is that these divisions are all unacceptable in the eyes of a Muslim. There is only one Islam, which has no partners which recognizes no other; it is the first Islam, the Islam of the Quran and Sunnah.”

Perhaps it’s time that the West agrees with Qaradawi: Indeed it is one Islam – flexible Islam.

Gen. Dempsey isn’t just wrong; he’s choosing the wrong side in a war that has been declared on his own country. He’s choosing the side of an enemy the allied with Hitler’s Nazis in WWII – the Muslim Brotherhood – by helping it dictate what U.S. troops are taught and not taught.

If Dempsey’s response is that he was just following orders, such a defense has no standing in war, as theNuremberg trials demonstrated:

Other defendants used their testimony to emphasize that they were merely following orders–although the IMT disallowed defense of superior orders, the issue was raised anyway in the hope that it might affect sentencing.

At least one of Dempsey’s offenses is the violation of one very basic tenet of known rules of warfare – a rule he himself is well are aware of as a General. This violations is egregious and one day, Dempsey is likely to find the blood of countless Americans on his hands as a result, because he’s helping the enemy keep the military he’s in charge of, in the dark.

Sun Tzu, the ancient Chinese warrior whose Art of War dates back over three thousand years, said the following:

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.

If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.

If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.

Dempsey’s behavior is akin to a General who wants to prevent his troops from knowing the enemy while helping the enemy at the same time. There was a time in America when that would be considered the worst possible offense a General could commit.

If harm comes to our troops or our nation as a result of Dempsey’s actions and if he is ever held to account for it, we’d like to remind him that any defense which includes something about ‘just following orders’ will be disallowed.

In fact, a case can be made that Gen Dempsey’s posting rests upon his willingness to subordinate U.S. interests to Islamic ones, as ordered by the Commander-in-Chief. Yes, the military is subordinate to the political leadership, however, it is also the case that a historical parallel can be made re Nazi Germany. The assertion of Nazi commanders, that they were “just following orders”, was insufficient to shield them from culpability. In other words, illegal and immoral orders can never be followed, even if handed down from top political leadership. 

But if their claim should (audaciously) become that they just don’t know what Islamic warfare entails, well, perhaps the military higher ups are guilty of abject failure in due diligence. The following  strategic find (from 2003) was known to this American-Israeli, so what’s their excuse?

Do Americans citizens (to include Law Enforcement) understand the 39 Principles of Holy War?

In 2003, an Israeli researcher (Col. Jonathan D. Halevi) found an Al-Qaeda terror manual while searching Islamic and Arabic Websites titled “The 39 Principles of Holy War”.

This very important discovery by Halevi was reported in the Israeli News Agency on 4 Sept. 2003.  One would opine every news organization in the free world would report on this find.  It would be further assumed all law enforcement departments in America would have a copy of the terror manual.  Why? Because the 39 Principles of Holy War not only give citizens clues to who may or may not be a terrorist, but they provide law enforcement officers a better tool when searching suspected terrorists homes or businesses.

Preparing and urging the mind for Jihad-Every Muslim must obey the call for Jihad against the infidels out of sheer belief and intention.  The 39 Principles are:

  1. Since desire to obtain martyrdom – Al Salem, basing his arguments on Sheik Abdallah Azzam (the spiritual leader of Osama Bin Laden, killed in Afghanistan in 1989), emphasizes the importance of the sincere endeavor in order to attain martyrdom from Allah. The believer can perform the commandment concerning the “preparation to the battle” (I’dad Al-‘oda) and gain a reward from Allah equivalent to the Saheed’s reward (72 virgins and secure a close place near the Divine presence in Heaven) even though he may die from natural causes.
  2. Taking part in the Jihad – Every Muslim has to take an active role in holy war against the infidels, prepared to self sacrifice for the sake of Allah. Participation in Jihad is the most distinguished action in the eyes of Allah.
  3. Financing Jihad – Muslims can take part in the Jihad by making donations dedicated to the Jihad and the Mujahideen. The donation’s value is determined by its quality and destination and not by the sum total which is donated.
  4. Supplying the fighter’s needs – A believer who is unable to take part in the Jihad (for instance women and handicapped) can perform his duty by supplying the Mujahideens needs in money and equipment. By doing so the donator is considered Mujahid and deserves the same reward.
  5. Taking care of the Mujahid’s family – A believer who supplies a Mujahid’s family needs is considered Mujahid and deserves half of his reward. If one neglects this act it may bring him misfortune and death by the hands of God.
  6. Assisting the fallens families – by supplying the special needs of the orphans and widows.
  7. Assisting the families of prisoners and wounded fighters – by supplying their necessities.
  8. Fund raising for the Mujahideen – money is the lifeline of the Jihad. Its importance also stems from gathering donations which would arouse the spirit of Jihad and the believer’s hearts. There are many ways of carrying out this duty: in mosques, public places, family gatherings, charity events, and monthly donation or by urging the wealthy to open their hands to the Mujahideen.
  9. Granting charity donations to the Mujahideens – who enjoy priority status in Islam.
  10. Financing medical treatment for wounded Mujahideen.
  11. Praising the Mujahideen and their deeds – It is essential to educate the Islamic Nation on their values and to see them as a role model.
  12. Encouraging the Mujahideen to stick to their ways – in order to strengthen their spirit and moral.
  13. Protecting the Mujahideen -avoid publishing any information that may
    place them in jeopardy or spoil the spirit of Jihad. Al-Salem warns his readers from the Arabic daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat (Saudi orientated, published in London) which conducts the “crusader – Jewish scheme” against Islam by publishing false information designed to destroy the steadfastness of the Islamic Nation and the Mujahideens’ spirit.
  14.  Publicizing the disgrace of hypocrites and defeatists – who strive to
    weaken the Islamic Nation.
  15. Preaching to Jihad – Enormous reward is promised to every Muslim who serves as a catalyst for other believers to commit the duty of the Jihad.
  16. Providing strategic advice to the Mujahideen – This can be translated in many ways including the supply of essential information on the enemy and his plans in order to be well prepared.
  17. Keeping secrecy concerning the Mujahideen.
  18. Prayers to Allah for the sake of the Mujahideen and for the defeat of
    the enemies.
  19. Holding special prayer to avoid misfortune and to strengthen the Muslim community.
  20. Publishing the Mujahideens’ activities in order to arouse the notion of
    solidarity and strengthen pride and hope among the believers, to praise the ideal of self-sacrifice for the sake of Allah and to break the media siege imposed by the enemy. There are varied ways recommended for distributing information praising Jihad including Internet websites and forums, distribution lists, circulating publications in public places (for instance mosques, schools), sending SMS, etc.
  21. Participating in publishing process of books on the Mujahideen.
  22. Publishing Islamic laws supporting the Jihad – This mission falls on the shoulders of the Muslim scholars who have the duty to guide the Islamic Nation in the light of the Jihad and to call believers to join the
    Mujahideen and pray on their behalf. Their followers are demanded to urge the scholars to act. In this context, Al-Salem glorifies the role of Sheik Hamoud Al-Oqala Al-Shu’aybi (radical Saudi scholar, deceased 2 years ago, backed the Taliban regime and al-Qaeda) as an adorable scholar who thrived to strengthen the Jihadi organizations worldwide by publishing Islamic laws justifying terror suicide attacks and holy war against the infidels.
  23. Keeping steady, consistent contact with scholars and preachers in order to update them about the current happenings in connection with the Mujahideen. The believer is asked to assist Islamic scholars who on certain occasion are under government pressure or influenced by false information. He has to update them regularly with reliable information, to support them and urge them to persist with the call to Jihad.
  24. Physical practicing – A Muslim who designates himself to become a
    Mujaheed has to start gradually by improving his physical fitness. Al-Salem elaborates in his book a recommended practicing program which includes enhancing the endurance of both the heart and lungs, increasing muscle mass and strength.
  25. Acquiring shooting skills – Al-Salem calls on Muslims not to be
    satisfied solely with the tuition of Jihad but to prepare in performing in this duty by acquiring shooting skills.
  26. Practicing swimming and riding horses – riding horses, explains Al-Salem is still relevant in the battlefields of Afghanistan, Chechnya and Iraq.
  27. Learning first aid skills – to help wounded Mujahudeen (splicing broken bones, providing infusions, etc.).
  28. Learning the doctrine of Jihad – Al-Salem recommends dozens of books, articles and Islamic laws published in recent years by Muslim radical leaders and scholars most of them Saudis by origin (Osama Bin Laden, Hamoud Al-Oqala Al-Shuaibi, Abd Aziz Jarbou’, Yusouf Al-‘ayyiri, Naser Al-Fahed, Ali Al-Khudier, Suliman Al-Olwan and more). One of them is the Al-Khudier’s Islamic law which justifies the use of weapons of mass destruction against the U.S.
  29. Supplying refuge and shelter to the Mujahideen.
  30. Expressing hostility and hatred toward infidels – A call for
    reconciliation or co-existence with the infidels might weaken the
    Mujahudeen. One may call for a Hudna, but to place it in practice is
    forbidden.
  31. Constant action to achieve the release of all prisoners – held in enemy jails and to use all means for their escape or release.
  32. Distributing current information on the prisoners in order to keep their high moral.
  33. Performing electronic Jihad – Al-Salem attributes paramount importance to the Internet as a component for Jihad. He calls believers to join the Jihad by participating in Internet forums to defend the Islam and Mujahideen, to preach Jihad and to encourage Muslims to learn more about this sacred duty. The Internet provides an opportunity to reach vast, target audiences and respond swiftly to false allegations. Computer experts are asked to use their skills and experience in destroying American, Jewish and secular websites as well as morally corrupt web sites.
  34. Alienation of infidels – Believers in other religions have to be
    isolated from Muslim communities so they will be prevented from committing hostile actions.
  35. Educating the younger generation to adore Jihad and the Mujahideen – The children, asserts Al-Salem are the “fuel” of the next stage of confrontation with the infidels. Parents have the duty to educate them to adore Jihad and the Mujahideen and to prepare themselves mentally for self-sacrifice for the sake of Allah. Al-Salem recommends believers to tell their young stories about the life of Prophet Mohammad, his associates, the great Muslim conquerors and the Mujahideen in our time. In addition it is recommended to
    display to the children Jihadi films and taped preaches which praise
    martyrdom.
  36. Abandoning the luxuries of materialism – which might weaken the spirit  of Jihad.
  37. Boycotting enemy’s commodities – as part of the economic Jihad.
  38. Avoiding the employment of foreign workers – from enemy countries.

Freedom of speech is not an end-in-itself or merely an exercise in self-expression. Nor is it the meaningless prattle of children—although much babbling often occurs among adults. Rightly understood, speech manifests reason, the quintessential function of which is to communicate ideas, to inquire into their truth or falsity, their expediency or inexpediency, their justice or injustice.

Since speech is an intellectual/moral phenomenon, to sever it from reason, truth, and justice is to relegate this distinctively human faculty to a mere instrument of self-aggrandizement.  This is the tendency of normless as opposed to normative democracy, a tendency that degrades man and makes a mockery of his right to freedom of speech. It has also made nonsense of the term “liberal.”

In the lexicon of America’s Founding Fathers, a “liberal” was a person free from prejudice, that is, from unexamined opinions. “Liberals” could be friends despite their differences because what they held in common was more important than their differences”: confident belief in the efficacy of reason and in the existence of immutable truths concerning justice. Hence Jefferson could say in his First Inaugural Address, “We are all Republicans, we are all Federalists”—a perfectly liberal sentiment.

Unfortunately, the pillars of classical liberalism were shattered during the twentieth century, primarily by invasion of historical relativism in the halls of learning. Today, in the minds of most liberals—also called “Progressives”—truth is relative to time and place. Like Darwinism, truth is evolutionary. But why “change” should be “progressive” and not retrogressive is hardly obvious. Nevertheless, it’s the mantra of politicians who know how to arouse discontent and democratic envy.

Indeed, as a result of democratic envy, justice in contemporary America has been reduced to equality—equality abstracted from a person’s efforts or contribution to the common good. We see, therefore, that just as freedom of speech has been severed from ethical constraints, so equality has been severed from merit.

Now, it needs to be emphasized that if freedom of speech is divorced from truth, democracy is no more justifiable than tyranny. Stated in a more general way, if there are no valid or objective standards as to how man should live, then there are no rational grounds for preferring democracy to tyranny. This is a logical consequence of moral relativism. Notice, moreover, that moral relativism does not logically justify the toleration of all lifestyles. Relativism undermines any objective grounds for preferring tolerance to intolerance. Even if relativism were true, it would be deadly, especially when confronted by Islamic absolutism, whose mantra is the love of death!

The only rational defense of freedom of speech or of intellectual freedom is that it can facilitate the quest for truth, including the truth concerning how man should live. But no such quest can even begin unless we already know, in some general and authoritative way, what is right and wrong. Clearly, the claim to academic freedom can have no justification unless it is commonly understood that it is wrong to cheat or deceive, to plagiarize or steal, to defame or murder. This suggests that moral relativists, who very much dominate the academia, take civilization for granted.

The true father of civilization is none other than Abraham, the father of the Jewish people. In his discovery of the one and only God—in Abraham’s monotheism—the God of Nature is also the God of History. This monotheism is the only solid foundation for the moral unity of human nature and the idea of the human community—an idea remote from Islam, which posits the primacy of force. To the contrary, the God of Abraham posits the primacy of reason. This is why freedom of speech has its home not in the dismal and distorted monotheism of Islam—a harbinger of death—but in the life-enhancing monotheism of Judaism.

In contrast to Islam, which regards all infidels as guilty, Abraham questions God that the imminent destruction Sodom and Gomorrah may result in the death of some innocent lives. But the point requiring emphasis in the context of this article is that the freedom of speech displayed by Abraham was manifested again and again by the prophets of Israel, who fearlessly admonished kings. Why so? Because the laws of God transcend the laws of men.

But isn’t this teaching of Abraham manifested in America’s Declaration of Independence, which admonished the king of Great Britain on behalf of the “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God”?

Forebodings were voiced Wednesday, May 29, by senior Israeli military officers in the face of the widening military intervention in the Syria civil war by Russia, Iran, Hizballah and latterly Iraq too. They have made Syria’s civil war the platform for a Russian contest against the West and a ladder up which Iran and its proxy Hizballah are climbing to top Middle East regional power spot.
Russia, Iran and Hizballah are winning the contest by default against an unresisting US-led West and a hesitant Israel.
A senior IDF officer acknowledged on Wednesday, May 29, that Israel’s government and military leaders are at a loss on how to proceed. They have yet to recover from the calamitous miscalculation that Bashar Assad’s days were numbered to which they clung stubbornly for almost eighteen months.

Even today, some spokesmen refer to a “disintegrating Syria,” thereby losing sight of the major strategic and military changes overtaking the country that are entirely to Israel’s detriment as well as eroding its options against a nuclear Iran.
At a time that the US and Israel should be using their heaviest military guns to slow Iran’s race for a nuclear bomb, Tehran with Moscow’s backing has brought its military assets up close to Israel’s borders in Syria and Lebanon and openly threatens to use them.

Unlike Syria and Iran, Israel can’t count on military intervention against an aggressor by supportive big powers.  According to DEBKAfile’s Washington sources, no part of the Obama administration, including its military and intelligence arms, favors military action in Syria.
Even the direct evidence of chemical warfare already afoot in Syria is unavailing.

In Addis Ababa, US Secretary of State John Kerry repeated the administration’s mantra Wednesday by denying “concrete evidence” of the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
The Secretary and the rest of NATO were deaf to the vivid testimony brought to Le Monde Wednesday by two reporters, who risked their necks by spending two months concealed in the Jobar district of Damascus. They discovered Russia or Iran had developed a chemical weapon that does not explode. The release of its poisonous gases sounds like popping the top off a can of soda and has “no odor, no smoke, not even a whistle to indicate the release of a toxic gas.”
So what does happen?

The Le Monde reporters provided a graphic first-hand description.

“The men cough violently. Their eyes burn, their pupils shrink, their vision blurs. Soon they experience difficulty breathing, sometimes in the extreme; they begin to vomit or lose consciousness. The fighters worst affected need to be evacuated before they suffocate.”
Wednesday morning, the Israeli Home Front rehearsed an attack on a Jerusalem suburb by a chemical-tipped missile.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who watched, said the exercise is designed to protect Israeli civilians “from the threats pilling up around us.” Israel’s home front is the best protected in the world but also the most threatened, he said: “We must make sure that defense is in place before an attack.
Tuesday, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon voiced his certainty that the Syrian President would not use chemical weapons against Israel or treat Israelis the way he treats his own people. There is no indication that anyone in the region intends to challenge us any time soon with unconventional weapons, said the defense minister.

DEBKAfile’s military sources find Ya’alon’s comment delusory. They don’t see why Assad would treat Israelis differently from his own people – especially since the IDF has presented him with no real deterrent. After all, none of Israel’s three air strikes in January and May stopped the flow of Hizballah fighters into Syria. And meanwhile, Syrian and Hizballah leaders are declaring loud and clear that a war front against Israel is already operating from the Syrian Golan and Lebanon.
The question is who in Israel is listening. And what is being done to make sure that Assad will be prevented from using chemical weapons against Israeli military and civilian targets at a time of his convenience.
The spate of events in the last 48 hours is troubling – to say the least.
Monday, US Senator John McCain was reported to have paid a secret visit to Syria. What did this “visit” consist of? DEBKAfile reports: The senator entered Syria from Turkey through the Kilis corridor which is the main supply route for the rebels in Aleppo, one of the few still under their control. McCain penetrated some 300 meters into Syria, had his picture taken, and left.

A US publication reported Wednesday that President Barack Obama had ordered the Pentagon to draw up plans to establish no-fly zones over Syria against Syrian warplanes. The Pentagon thereupon issued a denial: “There are no new American operational plans,” said the spokesman.

Moscow’s response was ready in place even before the report was published.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said the S-300 anti-air missiles that Russia was supplying the Assad regime were a “stabilizing factor” that could dissuade “some hotheads” from entering the conflict.

In the grades Moscow handed out for foreign interventionists: The US and Israel and their leaders were “hotheads” while Moscow,  the calm, rational stabilizer.
In that capacity, DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources reveal that a huge Russian cargo plane landed in Latakia airport Wednesday with 60 tons of “humanitarian aid for Syria.”
The nature of this cargo was not disclosed, but the last thing it must have been was “humanitarian” given the massive military aid Moscow is extending Assad’s army.
Moscow also knocked on the head the timorous decision by European Union foreign ministers Tuesday to lift the arms embargo for Syrian rebels, which they carefully combined with a decision not to send them weapons.

In sum, the US is not doing anything to help the rebels, Europe is not sending arms, the rebels’ Persian Gulf patrons have bowed to pressure from Washington and slashed their weapons aid, while Israel declares it wants no part of the Syrian civil war – even after it assumed the calamitous proportions of a world power contest with Israel’s arch foes gaining the upper hand.
So who is feeding the flames of the Syrian conflict with a generous supply of military hardware? Who but Russia, the self-styled “stabilizing factor”

The Free Syrian Army’s Supreme Commander Gen. Salem Idris made a desperate show of bravado Wednesday, by threatening to strike Hizballah strongholds in Lebanon if Hassan Nasrallah does not pull his brigades out of Syria within 24 hours.

Hizballah knows perfectly well that Gen. Salem is starved of weapons, just he knows that the US, Europe or Israel will not interfere with the stream of fighting strength he is pumping into Syria.
At worst, a few rockets will hit Hizballah centers in Beirut and the Beqaa Valley. Early Tuesday morning, the rebels tried to ambush Hizballah forces near the eastern town of Arsal. Their operation went badly wrong and mistakenly killed three Lebanese soldiers manning an army checkpoint.
The senior Israeli officer interviewed by DEBKAfile put all these forebodings into words when he said: “A military and strategic catastrophe for the West and Israel is in full flight in Syria, and no one in Washington or Jerusalem is lifting a finger. Israel’s government and military heads never imagined that the Syrian war would take this turn. But we had better wake up at this eleventh hour – before it is too late.”

While few will admit it, Israel’s leadership hasn’t learned a damn thing since the 1973 “surprise” Yom Kippur War. One doesn’t operate a corporate tax practice without countless interfaces with the (dreaded) IRS behemoth. In fact, having them on speed dial – at least its Chief Compliance Division & Taxpayer Advocate Service – is more than prudent. Not doing so would be downright inefficient. And this blogger is anything but disorganized.

Now imagine said practice deeply involved with forensic accounting, as well as non-profit 990 filings for both 501 (c) (3) applicants which deals with religious, educational, charitable, scientific entities and the like, and 501 (c) (4) involving social welfare, civic issues, political-oriented orgs. The ability to fully distinguish between the applicable requirements for tax exemption requires a certain skill set – https://adinakutnicki.com/about/. Taken a step further, it means understanding what is allowable and what isn’t, and not only from the perspective of the non-profit applicant. It involves a discerning and keen eye, intuiting when even the regularly invasive IRS has crossed the line. Going up the chain of command may become necessary, especially when said Field Agent appears out of their depth. (as an aside…generally the sharpest tool in the shed doesn’t become an Agent, they opt for private practice or a challenging postion in the high paying private sector) And any practice which can’t tell the difference between legal and illegal IRS behavior is less than reputable.

So when IRSgate first hit the fan, the immediate recognizable sign pointing towards illegal conduct was the highly personal, inappropriate, totally irrelevant, intrusive nature of the questioning. Top IRS officials, whose agency was under investigation for targeting conservative groups, visited the Obama White House more than 100 times over two years while the probe was going on, far more often than in previous administrations and frequently enough that Republicans suspect White House officials knew about the targeting.

Lawmakers now investigating the Internal Revenue Service practice zeroed in on those nearly weekly White House meetings to determine whether an IRS official — or someone higher up in the administration — had approved the targeting and whether it was politically motivated.

The frequent meetings also raised questions about the White House’s claims that it couldn’t have instigated the targeting of conservative groups because it took a hands-off approach to the tax agency, going so far as to describe it as independent of the administration even though it’s part of the Treasury Department.

Floyd Brown, in his prescient exposé Obama’s Enemies List, shouted from the highest mountain, warning of a rogue Obama administration and its mammoth enemies list; but the Establishment refused to listen. Now that the IRS scandal and attack on the Press has proven him right, the mainstream media is playing catch up.
As long as it was just those so-called “extremist” Tea Party, pro-life, and Christian groups that were being attacked, no one seemed to care. But now that we know the Obama administration is an “equal opportunity” attacker, going after the Associated Press, Fox News, local reporters, Romney donors, Benghazi whistleblowers, etc., etc. (with more Obama enemies sure to surface), the country now seems to be taking notice.

But this is only the surface of how the Obama enemies list works. Everything, and I mean everything, is geared towards an enemies list, which is predicated on having an extensive surveillance state.

The communist Saul Alinsky, Barack Hussein Obama’s favorite community organizer, famously said, “The issue is never the issue.” Put a little more plainly: “Deception is our Modus Operandi.”

Case in point: ObamaCare.

Presumably, ObamaCare is about access to healthcare. But doctors are dropping out of the healthcare system in droves, healthcare is already being rationed, and healthcare costs are skyrocketing as much as four hundred percent.

The issue is never the issue. ObamaCare is notabout access to healthcare; it’s about an elaborate system to support an enemies list.

Enter the IRS, now in charge of ObamaCare.

In order for the IRS to supposedly determine whether Americans are eligible for government subsidies to pay for mandated health insurance, they must collect a horrendous amount of information on every single American. The IRS is creating a database so vast that it makes George Orwell’s dystopian society in the book1984 look like amateur hour. Called the Federal Data Services Hub, it will combine the IRS’s income and employment database with the Social Security, Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Health and Human Services databases. Combined with the proposed Immigration Bill creating a national ID system, this will be the mother of all databases—the mother of a complete and total surveillance state.

Does America really believe that the same woman behind the targeting of conservatives at the IRS, former commissioner of tax exempt and government entities Sarah Hall Ingram, now promoted to the head of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, was a coincidence? That the person in charge of sending hundreds of questionnaires to Tea Party, pro-life, and Christian groups asking for personal information was promoted to the ObamaCare office by some objective bureaucratic points system?

The issue is never the issue. ObamaCare is not about healthcare; it’s about surveillance. It’s about control. But most importantly, it’s about having access to the information of your enemies. And Obama specifically chose Sarah Hall Ingram to be in charge of this mammoth enemies list.

Conservative groups were prevented from obtaining tax-exempt status by the IRS, forcing them to divulge donor lists, intern lists, and political and family connections, Facebook posts, tweets, event records, transcripts of speeches, even the content of their prayers, all as part of an effort to collect data on their enemies.

Imagine you are a Tea Party member who needs hip replacement surgery. Sarah Hall Ingram, Obama’s chief ObamaCare enforcer, sees the request but also sees through her extensive database that you are part of a local Tea Party group that had opposed ObamaCare, the plan you are now locked into. Think you’ll get a hip replacement? Think again. First will come the endless questions. First will come the long wait. Only when you come around to Obama’s “common sense” approached to healthcare (that is, socialized medicine) and drop the whole perceived Tea Party nonsense will you get the healthcare you need.

The issue is never the issue. ObamaCare is not about healthcare; it’s about a surveillance state. It’s about Obama having access to information on his enemies.

If ObamaCare is allowed to continue—if the Obama administration is allowed to continue, we will no longer have a United States of America. It will be something else. A truly Orwellian nightmare with Barack Hussein Obama as Big Brother and the enemies of the state being conservatives.

Most significantly, the IRS is supposed to function independently of the White House and without its interference, unless a COMPELLING public interest is at stake. Extrapolating herein, it was patently obvious that the targeting of Conservative groups (Jewish Zionist ones alike – http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2013/05/29/did-the-palestinians-ask-obama-to-target-pro-israeli-501c3s/ – whose audience is mainly Conservative…yes, there are politically Conservative Jews!) was directly related to electoral interference. For IF an organization spends an inordinate amount of time away from accomplishing the goals of their Mission Statement ; IF much needed funds are expended on corp tax accountants (they don’t come cheap!), in a vain  attempt to comply with reams of questions which are non-ending; IF a non-profit’s status is held in abeyance, therefore, donations become taxable and fewer pour in; then the amount of damage accrued to a confluence of targeted groups becomes insurmountable, effectively tipping the electoral balance…akin to stealing the election in broad daylight! 

Consider this grudge match: if a middle class earner tries to go up against a millionaire in the money arena, and then the millionaire attempts to fight the billionaire, does anyone have a doubt who will come out on top?

In essence, Obama Inc’s abuse of the IRS’s purview – which is NEVER allowed to show any bias whatsoever in its mandate – not only indicts all players into jail cells, but it proves beyond a doubt that the IRS has become irredeemably tainted. So not only should their top colluding henchmen/women share adjoining cells with Obama Inc., but the IRS itself must be dismantled, reg by reg.

A flat tax is becoming more and more appealing and the prudent way forward. It will cure much of the sickness feeding Washington’s voracious appetite, and that would be a positive outcome out of an outrageous abuse of power polluting the Beltway!

So now that a proper investigation into Benghazigate is off and running, a long overdue public airing is coming full circle. With  Americans reeling from Boston’s jihad, it behooves outing another Islamic putsch into the American body politic – a dagger straight into its heart – which will surely blow back with another urban jihad.

‘HOLY LAND FOUNDATION FOR RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT (HLF)’

  • U.S-based Islamic charity shut down by authorities in 2001 for funding the terrorist group Hamas

Established in 1988 (under the name “Occupied Land Fund”) by Shukri Abu Baker, Mohammad El-Mezain and Ghassan Elashi, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) was a non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable trust headquartered in Richardson, Texas. It also maintained branch offices in New Jersey, California, and Illinois. Its name change took place in 1992.

Calling itself America’s largest Islamic charity, HLF purported to be a source of help for needy Palestinian Muslims in Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Authority (PA). “Our mission,” stated its website, “is to find and implement practical solutions for human suffering through humanitarian programs that impact the lives of the disadvantaged, disinherited, and displaced peoples suffering from man-made and natural disasters.” In reality, however, the Foundation was a major financier of the terrorist organization Hamas.

In its earliest days, HLF received a $200,000 cash infusion from Ghassan Elashi’s brother-in-law Musa Abu Marzook, the Hamas senior political leader and Virginia resident who would be deported in 1997 for his involvement in six terror attacks in Israel that killed 47 people. By 1989, HLF had already sent nearly $1 million to Marzook and Hamas co-founder Ahmed Yassin (to the latter through an account called the Islamic Center of Gaza — another ostensibly charitable entity used by Yassin to finance Hamas activities).

HLF’s precursor, the Occupied Land Fund, was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document — titled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America” — as one of the Brotherhood’s 29 likeminded “organizations of our friends” that shared the common goal of destroying America and turning it into a Muslim nation. These “friends” were identified by the Brotherhood as groups that could help teach Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”

Also named in the Muslim Brotherhood document were:

Suspicious of its terrorist ties, U.S. federal authorities began monitoring the Holy Land Foundation in 1996. On September 5, 2001, federal anti-terrorism agents raided InfoCom Corporation, the company that ran the HLF website. According to defectors from the conspiracy, the HLF web server was used also by the American Muslims for Jerusalem. the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Association for Palestine, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Islamic Society of North America, and the Muslim Students’ Association of the U.S. and Canada. As Islam scholar Stephen Schwartz writes, “All these organizations drew from the common financial and technical pool at HLF. All shared a single administrative and technical contact for the maintenance of the web server. They had been erected as political shells around the Hamas hydra-head represented by HLF.” (Support for Hamas had become illegal in 1995 as the result of an executive order by President Bill Clinton and subsequent congressional action.)

On December 4, 2001, the Bush administration seized all HLF assets and records because of its Hamas connections. Said President Bush at the time: “Hamas has obtained much of the money that it pays for murder abroad right here in the United States, money originally raised by the Holy Land Foundation. The Holy Land Foundation … raised $13 million from people in America last year. … Money raised by the Holy Land Foundation is used by Hamas to support schools and indoctrinate children to grow up into suicide bombers. [It] is also used by Hamas to recruit suicide bombers and to support their families.”

In July 2004, federal authorities arrested five former HLF leaders: Mufid Abdulqader (the half-brother of Hamas’s supreme political leader, Khaled Mashal); Shukri Abu Baker (HLF’s co-founder and former President and Chief Executive); Ghassan Elashi (HLF’s co-founder and former Board Chairman and Treasurer); Mohammed El-Mezain (HLF’s co-founder and former Board Chairman); and Abdulraham Odeh (HLF’s former New Jersey representative). In a 42-count indictment, these individuals were charged with providing material support for Hamas terrorists to the tune of $12.4 million over a six-year period, and more than $57 million since the late 1988. Two more ex-officials of HLF, Haitham Maghawri and Akram Mishal, managed to escape U.S. jurisdiction and are considered to be fugitives.

According to the indictment, HLF tried to hide its terrorist-financing activities from American law-enforcement by making a few small contributions to innocuous, non-Palestinian entities while reserving the vast majority of its funds for terrorists. As Shukri Abu Baker told his underlings: “We can give $100,000 to the Islamists and $5,000 to the others.” Another HLF program, masquerading as charitable support for needy families and orphans in Palestinian territories, is said to have channeled money to families whose relatives had been killed or captured while waging jihad; some of them were suicide bombers.

In December 2006, two openly pro-Castro organizations — the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Humanitarian Law Project — jointly petitioned a federal judge to dismiss many of the charges brought against HLF.

On July 23, 2007, HLF’s leaders went on trial. Seven principal individuals were charged with twelve counts of providing “material support and resources” to a foreign terrorist organization. Additionally, they faced thirteen counts of money laundering and thirteen counts of breaching the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), which prohibits transactions that threaten American national security. Along with the seven named defendants, the government released a list of approximately 300 “unindicted co-conspirators” and “joint venturers.”

Among the unindicted co-conspirators were groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Hamas, INFOCOM, theIslamic Association for Palestine, the Islamic Society of North America, the Muslim Arab Youth Association, the North American Islamic Trust, and the United Association for Studies and Research. The list also included many individuals affiliated with theMuslim Brotherhood and/or Hamas. Among these were Mousa Abu Marzook, Omar Ahmad, Abdurahman Alamoudi, Yousef al-Qaradawi, Abdallah Azzam, Jamal Badawi, Mohammad Jaghlit, Abdel Aziz Rantisi, and Ahmed Yassin. Thirty-nine directors, employees and representatives of HLF were also named.

On October 22, 2007, after a two-month trial and nineteen days of jury deliberation, Judge A. Joe Fish declared a mistrial because the jury had been unable to deliver unanimous verdicts and had failed to convict on a single count brought against the defendants.

When the government retried the case a year later, prosecutors made several key adjustments. Most notably, they dropped somecounts against particular defendants; they called several new witnesses; and they displayed three exhibits which Israeli military officials had seized from the Palestinian Authority (PA). Those exhibits demonstrated that the PA, like the U.S. government, clearly considered HLF to be a Hamas funder; that an HLF-supported charity committee was fully controlled by Hamas; and that the defendants were well aware that whatever money they were raising in the U.S. was earmarked for Hamas.

On November 24, 2008, the jury convicted five former HLF officials — Mufid Abdulqader, Shukri Abu-Baker, Ghassan Elashi, Mohamed El-Mezain, and Abdelrahman Odeh — of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists.

‘Report: Obama ‘covertly recruiting’ Muslims as diplomats’

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is said to have been quietly
recruiting Muslims to serve as U.S. diplomats.

Judicial Watch said the Obama administration was hiring Muslims at the
State Department. The fiscal watchdog said the recruitment
was part of the administration’s outreach to Muslims to work for the federal
government.

“The Obama administration is covertly recruiting Muslims to work at the
State Department as Foreign Service officers representing the United States in one of 265 American embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions worldwide,” Judicial Watch said.

In a report on Jan. 31, Judicial Watch said the administration sought to
use the new Muslim recruits to bolster Washington’s relations with the rest of the world. The organization said the recruitment was headed by Mark Ward, deputy special coordinator in the State Department’s Office of Middle East Transition.

“Ward held a 90-minute seminar at a recent convention sponsored by two
groups — Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America — with known ties to radical Islam,” Judicial Watch said.

The two Muslim groups have been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. The
Investigative Project on Terrorism identified the Muslim American Society as the U.S. chapter of the Brotherhood, with headquarters in Egypt.

“Besides being a citizenship duty, there are benefits that Muslims can
add to the American Muslim community and the global Muslim world by joining the U.S. Foreign Services,” a statement by the Muslim American Society said in late December 2012. “This session will shed light on the different career opportunities for Muslim youth in the U.S. Foreign Services Department. It will also clear any concerns that many people have feared about pursuing in this career.”

It remains to be seen wherein lies the tipping point, and how much longer their infiltration/penetration will be tolerated. But this much appears to be on the horizon: future urban jihads will not go down as tepidly as Boston’s. In an overall sense, the jihadi tactics may very well be similar, but the response from some Americans more than likely very different. In effect, the jihadists within Washington’s underbelly might be as shocked by “Middle America’s” response, as will Muslim American Islamists “hiding in plain sight” – at least this is what plugged in types have been intimating.

‘Ex-Security Chief: Don’t Rush to Take Our Guns’

Former IDF security chief says guns can prevent murder.

There have been increasing calls in recent weeks to restrict gun ownership, particularly in light of recent domestic murders committed by off-duty security guards. The murder of four people in a Be’er Sheva bank this week spurred further calls for increased gun control.

That would be a mistake, says former chief of IDF Internal Security Gershon Eckstein.

“I don’t recommend getting worked up and coming up with all kinds of proposals to reduce gun ownership and collect weapons in the wake of the horrific murder at Bank Hapoalim in Be’er Sheva,” he said.

“Just three years ago, the streets of our cities were plagued by terrorism, and more than a few terrorist attacks were stopped by an immediate response from citizens with personal weapons,” he noted. Armed citizens stopped terrorists in multiple tractor attacks in Jerusalem and during the shooting at Merkaz Harav Yeshiva. Guns have also been credited in ending attacks on motorists by Arab or Bedouin gangs.

“We are still not free of terrorism, and it could return to our streets,” Eckstein warned. “A terrorist attack that is not met with an immediate response could continue, and leave many victims. The police cannot be everywhere at once.”

Weapons could also be used to stop attacks like that in Be’er Sheva, he said. “Imagine if the murderer had been mentally stable, and if one of the other customers waiting at the bank had started to murder civilians,” he said. “The first thing he would have done would have been to neutralize the murderer using his weapon, and that would have saved lives.”

“The personal weapons owned by the Israeli public are the final line of defense and of immediate response, and need to be used to save lives,” he concluded.
