OFF the bat, the irrefutable evidence re the chillingly, genocidal, barbarism from HAMAS — an integral hydra to Islamic Jihadi Terrorism — can no longer be debated.
BUT what is shocking to many supporters of Yad Vashem is the fact that Dani Dayan, the head of the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, obdurately, refuses to tie-in the bullet-proof nexus between Islamic Jihadi Terrorism to its evil twin: Adolf Hitler’s genocidal Holocaustof Jews!
AS per the whys and wherefores of his inexplicable (dare it be suggested, immoral) blindness, the written analysis via JNS stands on its own merits. Even so, readers may recall a volume of evidence re the linkages via the topic at hand throughout this site and its “companion” addresses.
AFDI has been shown to have been right all along. Another controversial AFDI ad making a repeat appearance is the one depicting Adolf Hitler with Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and stating: “Islamic Jew-Hatred. It’s in the Qur’an.” Here again, with Muslim anti-Semitism rising and becoming increasingly violent worldwide, AFDI has been shown to be right. AFDI plans to roll out these ads across the country on buses and train stations in major cities. AFDI stands for:
The freedom of speech – as opposed to Islamic prohibitions of “blasphemy” and “slander,” which are used effectively to quash honest discussion of jihad and Islamic supremacism;
The freedom of conscience – as opposed to the Islamic death penalty for apostasy;
The equality of rights of all people before the law – as opposed to Sharia’s institutionalized discrimination against women and non-Muslims.
“When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks,” says an ayah, or verse in Sura (chapter) 47.
Sura 8:12 reads: “I will cast dread into the hearts of the unbelievers. Strike off their heads, then, and strike off all of their fingertips.”
Moreover, decapitations aka beheadings are also described in some of the earliest histories of Islam.
For the historical record, Muhammad’s earliest biographer, Ibn-Ishaq, describes how the prophet approved the beheadings of between 600 and 900 men from the Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe following the Battle of the Trench. History not only repeats, but followers of Islam are still implementing centuries-old “practices”, as if civilized society passed them by. It has.
Not only that, but it was a common form of execution under the Ottoman Empire, where it was the “primary form of symbolic aggression among Ottoman soldiers”, according to historian James J Reid. Graphically-speaking, let this tidbit sink in, in so far as Turkey’s President Erdogan (ex PM) is actively planning to resurrect the (reportedly benign…as if) Ottoman Empire. His main helpmates are the Muslim Brotherhood – with Hamas as its front-arm – and Barack HUSSEIN Obama. You read this “news” right here.
The museum’s bizarre opposition to comparing the crimes of today’s Islamist killers to the Nazis is a betrayal of its mandate to preserve Jewish history.

In 1990, just as the age of the Internet was beginning, the term “Godwin’s law” was coined by author Mark Godwin. He observed that the longer any online discussion goes, the more likely it is that someone will make a comparison of something to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. And the person who goes there first usually loses the argument. But Godwin, who is also credited with the invention of the term “meme,” was more prescient than he could have known.
In the ensuing decades, the proliferation of Holocaust and Nazi analogies became commonplace. Partly due to the massive growth in Holocaust education in the United States that sought to universalize the Nazi war to exterminate the Jews, ordinary prejudice was denounced as the first step towards another Auschwitz. Regrettably, this has given rise to an “anyone I don’t like is Hitler” rule on both the right and left in which political differences are compared to Nazi Germans.
But while we are right to demand that the Holocaust be treated as a singular event that should never be mistaken for mere political quarrel, that doesn’t mean that it can’t be compared to historical events in which actual genocide, as well as movements with genocidal intentions, are involved. The genocides in Cambodia and Rwanda, for example, in which entire populations were marked for death does bear a resemblance to Hitler’s “Final Solution.”
Then came the events of Oct. 7. In committing the largest mass slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust and committing barbaric atrocities on men, women and children, including rape and torture, Hamas made it impossible not to think about the legacy of Nazis. Even those of us who have been most critical of Holocaust comparisons are now forced to concede that we’ve arrived at a moment when doing so is not only appropriate but necessary.
An apt comparison
And that is exactly what many supporters of Israel are doing as they seek to push back against the horrifying efforts to downplay or justify Hamas’s crimes by a growing anti-Jewish movement making its voices heard on the streets of the world’s cities as well as on college campuses.
One who has not shied away from this is Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations. Erdan has risen to the occasion during the current crises speaking out boldly against the Jew-hatred and prejudice at the world body in the wake of the Oct. 7 atrocities. But when the United Nations refused to condemn the mass murder in Israel, Erdan had had enough. He said he would don a Holocaust-style yellow Magen David (“Star of David”) with the word “Jude” until it did so.
He has been applauded by those who believe he is right to remind the world body that the indifference to Israeli victims today is reminiscent of the world’s silence and inaction during the Holocaust. But not everyone is cheering for him.
Some “senior officials” in the Israeli Foreign Ministry—always a bastion of defenders of a belief in getting along with Israel’s enemies rather than confronting them—denounced him in the left-wing newspaper Haaretz for what the anonymous diplomats described as a political stunt.
More importantly, Erdan’s gesture was also furiously criticized by Dani Dayan, the head of the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem. Dayan, who had already publicly cautioned against using Holocaust comparisons when speaking of Hamas, thinks that doing so belittles or marginalizes the past. He claimed that the analogy was somehow an insult to Holocaust survivors. He also bizarrely argued that any discussion of Hamas and the Holocaust must wait “until sufficient research is done delving into the underlying aspects of these two ideologies.”
That makes no sense. There is no mystery about the “underlying aspects” of Hamas ideology. The Islamist terror group is quite open about its goals of eradicating Israel and its Jewish population, just as the Nazis intended to.
Dayan is no Holocaust scholar but was awarded the prestigious post as a consolation prize after a career in business, politics and diplomacy. He started out on the political right as an advocate for the settlement movement. But ever since landing at Yad Vashem, he has been demonstrating all of the usual symptoms of that peculiar malady that affects right-wingers once they get a taste of being treated as respected figures by the left-wing establishment.

Yad Vashem and the Mufti
This was first made clear in an absurd controversy over whether Yad Vashem would display, as it once did, a photo of the meeting of Adolf Hitler with the Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin el-Husseini. The Mufti was the leader of Palestinian Arabs during the British Mandate and had incited pogroms against the Jews there. He spent the war serving the Axis and recruited Bosnian Muslims to join the SS, hoping that a German victory would allow him to defeat the British and the Zionists and eliminate the Jews in what is now Israel. The Mufti didn’t give Hitler the idea for the Holocaust at their meeting and was a marginal figure in wartime Berlin. But he was an enthusiastic supporter. It also symbolized the sympathy that many if not most Arabs felt for the Nazi cause because they saw Hitler as an opponent of their British and Jewish enemies.
Mention of the support for the Nazis by the Arabs deserves a place in any museum devoted to the history of the Holocaust especially when one thinks of what might have happened to the hundreds of thousands of Jews in the yishuv had the Germans defeated the British in North Africa in 1942 and conquered Palestine.

But Dayan, determined to distance himself from his political past and eager to appear at odds with one-time ally Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, basked in the praise he got from the left for excluding the Hitler-Mufti picture from the museum. In a fawning 2022 profile published in Haaretz, he boasted of his desire to wall off the Holocaust from any contemporary efforts to defend Israel against its enemies. Denouncing “hasbara” or pro-Israel information policy, he preened as a defender of historical truth and said he would stand by it “even when it is inconsistent with Israel’s interests.” But the problem with that proclamation was that those, like Dayan, who seek to downplay or deny the facts about Arab support for the Nazis are the ones who seem to have a problem with the historical truth.
The only one playing politics with history is Dayan since he said that including the Mufti’s Nazi activities in the museum would “harm the image of the Palestinians today.” That he thinks it is the job of the most important Holocaust memorial in the world to defend the image of contemporary Palestinians by not mentioning their past, not to mention their current support for a group committed to the mass murder of the Jews, would seem to argue for his unfitness for the job he holds.
It’s hard to figure out exactly what’s been happening at Yad Vashem recently.
In a move that seemed to speak to Dayan’s alienation from the traditional mission of the institution, he cut ties with its American fundraising arm, the American Society for Yad Vashem, in September. The society raised enormous sums of money that enabled the massive renovation at Yad Vashem that enabled it to build a new campus four times the size of the original Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Authority which reopened in 2005. The American group accused Dayan of seeking to raid the endowment it had built and, among other things, not respecting its nonprofit status and acting in a manner lacking in transparency.
In another sign of the way politics had overtaken the institution, a reported government investigation into Dayan’s administration was criticized by the U.S. State Department, which seemed to indicate, as columnist Caroline Glick has noted, that his continued tenure was seen as related to American efforts to back Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political opponents.
Dayan thinks that he has a role to play in leading the debate about what Israel ought to do about Hamas. But rather than shedding light on an important discussion, his blanket refusal to permit any mention of the Holocaust is covering up the truth.
No two historical events or movements are entirely alike. And there is a vast difference between the efforts of one of the world’s great powers—Nazi Germany—to wipe out the Jewish people and Hamas’s hopes to do so. The great lesson of the Holocaust is that the Jews must never again allow themselves to be powerless and dependent on the mercy of other nations. The continued existence of the State of Israel is the ultimate guarantee that there can be no second Holocaust.

Shared tactics and goals
Hamas, its Islamist allies in Iran and its terrorist auxiliaries lack Nazi Germany’s military power, and their ideology is one of extremist Islam rather than the mixture of toxic nationalism, Socialism and a totalitarian Fuhrer concept of the Nazis. Still, their goals are the same. Hamas is a movement whose ideology is not just rooted in Jew-hatred, but like the Nazis, has weaponized culture and education to create what historians have called an “eliminationist” mentality in which any crimes—no matter how horrific—committed against Jews can be justified.
One can find echoes of Nazism not merely in the constant refrain of anti-Zionist incitement that references a desire to finish what Hitler started but in its denial of atrocities committed against the Israelis and exultation in the sadistic crimes in which Jews are both slaughtered and humiliated as inferior non-Muslim usurpers of an Arab homeland.
Just as was the case with the Nazis and Germany, the only possible path towards peace must begin with the complete military defeat of Hamas. That will force Palestinian Arabs, who have not merely supported Hamas but shown a willingness to allow themselves to be sacrificed as human shields for the terrorists, to recognize that they must reject its ideology if they are to have any kind of sane future.
The brazen depravity of Hamas’s crimes, its ideological devotion to a cult-like worship of death and its willingness to let its supporters die for it all speak to the vast commonality between the Islamists and the Nazis they openly seek to emulate. Faced with the unspeakable acts committed during the Hamas pogroms, there is simply no way to avoid thinking about what the Germans and their accomplices attempted to do. When confronted with pure Nazi-like evil—and that is what Hamas is—there is only one relevant historical analogy.
Calling attention to these facts is not politicizing history or disrespecting the Holocaust. To the contrary, it is a sign that Jews have not forgotten the price they paid for weakness in the face of evil.
Unlike the many other museums built to honor the Holocaust, Yad Vashem stands as the only one that is absolutely essential because it was built in the Jewish state, whose existence is the only appropriate memorial to the Six Million slain by the Nazis in the mid-20th century. Whether under the leadership of Dayan or a reputable historian that ought to succeed him, Yad Vashem needs to return to its mission of guarding the historical memory of the Jewish people, rather than sparing the feelings of Hamas-supporting Palestinians who want to forget about the Mufti even as they follow in his footsteps in the 21st century.
Until it does, its statements on this issue should be ignored.

Michael G. Masters, director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization of Jewish organizations in North America, has also served on the payroll of the Soufan Group, a company that provides security consulting, training, and military advising to Qatar, a key sponsor of Hamas.
Michael G. Masters holds a key position in the security of American Jews, being national director and CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN) – the community’s umbrella security organization that works to safeguard Jewish institutions across the United States. Concurrently until February of 2022, he was president of the board of governors of the Soufan Center, and also general counsel for the Soufan Group. Mr. Masters previously served as the chief of staff to the superintendent of the Chicago Police Department and as head of Emergency Management for Cook County, Illinois. He is a U.S. Marine Corps reservist and graduate of Harvard law school.
Why, then, has Mr. Masters been part of management and on the payroll of a company that provides security consulting, training, and military advising to Qatar, a key sponsor of Hamas?
The October 7 slaughter of over 1,400 men, women, and children in Israel, plus the kidnapping of 200 more by Hamas, directly implicated Qatar, which funded Hamas, hosted its leadership, and blamed Israel for October 7.
Is Mr. Masters with the Jews who were murdered – or their murderers?
Qatar has a long history of supporting terrorism: it provided refuge and aid to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, and Hamas politburo chiefs Khaled Mashal and Ismail Haniyeh. The country’s largest charity has funded Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Hamas, and Ihsani Yardim Vakfiih (IHH). It has paid bribes to Hezbollah and other terror groups in Iraq.

And now, we come to Mr. Masters, former president of the Soufan Center, one time emcee of the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies’ (QIASS) Global Security Forum events in Doha, and national director & CEO of the Secure Community Network (SCN) and a principal figure in all three.
The Soufan Group: Mr. Masters publicly acknowledges having worked at the Soufan Group from October 2015 to March 2020, then serving as president of the board of governors of the Soufan Center, an affiliated think tank, through February 2022. The Soufan Group, headquartered in New York, maintains an office in Doha, Qatar. According to a SCN spokesperson, “Mr. Masters is proud of his past service as a member of the Board of Directors of The Soufan Center.”

Ali Soufan, CEO of the Soufan Group, established in New York in 2005, counts the government of Qatar as a client “which hired the Soufan Group to train some of its police and intelligence forces.” The Qatari state-owned news network, Al Jazeera, frequently interviews employees of the Soufan Center on matters of national security and Middle East politics, which prominently showcases these on its website.
Qatar International Academy for Security Studies’ (QIASS) Global Security Forum: Established in 2018, the Global Security Forum (GSF) is a yearly policy conference hosted by the Soufan Center. Qatari leaders often brief the gathered audience of security officials, diplomats, and journalists to articulate and comment on Doha’s annual national security strategy commenting on such topics as Afghanistan, Israel, and Gulf politics. Mr. Masters introduced senior Qatari officials at multiple conferences and moderated panels at the conference.
Secure Community Network: It is the “official homeland security and safety initiative of the organized Jewish community in North America.” The group “serves as the central organization dedicated exclusively to the safety and security of the American Jewish community, working across 146 federations, 50 partner organizations, over 300 independent communities as well as with other partners in the public, private, non-profit and academic sectors,” including the FBI, DEA, and other federal agencies. Mr. Masters is its CEO.
Mr. Masters held his positions at SCN and different Soufan entities concurrently for at least four years from 2018-2022, as well as appearing at the GSF multiple times.
He stands as a testament to the tangled relationship between Qatar and organizations safeguarding the U.S. Jewish community. His former positions raise considerable concerns about potential conflicts of interest, especially in light of his public appearances and associations with key Qatari figures while serving as the American Jewish community’s security czar.
While Iran’s alliance with Hamas is the focus of global attention, Qatar – whose ties to the terror group are ironclad – is often overlooked. Such willful blindness is, in part, the fruit of Qatar’s vast international networks, which include major American lobbyists, journalists, and security experts, not to mention the globally influential aforementioned Qatari-owned Al Jazeera network. Moreover, the U.S. Air Force base at Al Udeid in Qatar furthers its strategic importance.

Qatari Donations to American Universities: A Conduit for Antisemitism?
One of the more overt demonstrations of this influence is Qatar’s financial backing of prominent U.S. academic institutions, to which they channel billions of dollars in donations. This raises concerns about their ability to inspire antisemitism, particularly among future decision-makers. Furthermore, Qatar’s Education City is home to institutions like Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), which houses the Al-Qaradawi Center for Islamic Reform and Renewal. This Center is named for Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the late Islamist scholar and Muslim Brotherhood advocate who endorsed Hamas suicide bombings and the murder of Americans in Iraq.
Stateside, the Qatar America Institute (QAI) serves as a case study for Qatar’s intricate web of influence peddling in the U.S. The organization, though introduced as a cultural non-profit, was later found to have accepted $6 million from the Qatar Embassy and the Qatar Foundation. This funding reportedly facilitated visits for rising U.S. politicians to Qatar, thereby providing an opportunity for covert influence. Mr. Soufan and other Soufan Group staff and advisors have served on the board of directors for QAI.
QIASS/HBKU and QF have organized a multitude of conferences in Doha since 2017. The latest of these was attended and inaugurated by the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, who gave speeches alongside HBKU officials. Several attendees, principally Qataris, have used these events to make anti-Israel remarks and express support for President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and radical groups like Hamas.
A Tangled Web of Qatari Connections
A particularly glaring instance from October 2018 underscores concerns about Mr. Masters’ Qatari ties. In the immediate aftermath of the tragic shooting in Pittsburgh, the most devastating attack against the U.S. Jewish community, Mr. Masters was not on-site to support the community or offering condolences. Instead, he was in Qatar.
During his address, he introduced himself solely as the president of the Soufan Center, conveniently neglecting to mention his pivotal role in SCN. He failed to mention the Pittsburgh murders and instead praised his forum co-sponsors, including Qatar University and Georgetown University Qatar. At the same period, the dean of Georgetown University Qatar was actively criticizing Israel. Moreover, Mr. Masters introduced and commended the deputy prime minister of Qatar, Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, even suggesting that attendees should follow him on Twitter.
Concurrently with tenure at SCN, Mr. Masters held positions in several companies directly linked to the Qatari regime. He was a member of the executive team for the Soufan Group and board of directors for the Soufan Center, entities mainly engaged with Qatar’s Emir, family, and government. Both Ali Soufan and Michael Masters were appointed to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council. In 2022, a colleague, former Marine Gen. John Allen, from the council, who served with Messrs. Soufan and Masters, had to take a leave of absence due to an FBI investigation on alleged illegal lobbying and Qatari influence peddling.
The Soufan Group manages the Qatar International Academy for Security Studies (QIASS), providing training to law enforcement personnel, including Qatar’s general security services. The specialized training provided includes intelligence, investigation, firearms, tactical support, human source development, interview and interrogation techniques, and CVE strategy. QIASS also provided guidance for the controversial World Cup when Qatar hosted it. Ali Soufan is the chief principle of the Soufan Group; Michael Masters was formerly the senior vice president and of counsel.
Ali Soufan, CEO of the Soufan Group, where Masters worked prior to becoming CEO of SCN, celebrated FIFA’s decision to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in a 2018 Tweet. Two years later, the U.S. Department of Justice alleged that Qatar engaged in bribery to convince FIFA to bring the tournament to Qatar.
A recent investigation in the U.K. Spectatorfocused on Qatar’s human rights breaches and its relationship to the World Cup by examining the supposed lobbying that influenced British MPs and their trips to Doha. Multiple reports have highlighted QIASS as a major influencer for these trips, and there are indications that these QIASS-sponsored MP excursions are currently being examined by the British government. This scrutiny spurred anti-corruption entities of the EU to detain several government officials in December 2022 over suspicions of corruption stemming from alleged bribes by Qatari representatives.
Additionally, the Soufan Center’s intel briefs, released amidst the recent tensions, reflect a skewed perspective that inadvertently validates illicit tactics as strategies for negotiation. Intended for national security professionals, the briefs implied potential breaches of international law by Israel in their response to Hamas. They categorize Hamas terrorists as “militia fighters,” suggest that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating due to Israeli actions, and use the term “extreme” just once – applying it to Israeli political elements. A particular statement from October 13th indicated that Israel might be violating the Geneva Conventions through “siege warfare.” The brief also posited that Hamas’s “hostage portfolio” might be a tool for progress on humanitarian issues, indirectly endorsing nationalistic tactics to initiate international dialogue and negotiations.
While the QIASS/Soufan website features Ali Soufan as executive director and Martin Reardon as senior director, Majed Al-Ansari, the actual president of QIASS, is conspicuously absent. Mr. Al-Ansari’s association with QIASS is, however, confirmed by the HBKU’s official website, as well as multiple business and academic agreements. Mr. Masters has been vocal about his association with HBKU’s leadership and has often highlighted the relationship on social media platforms, as this tweet illustrates.
In 2022, Mr. Al-Ansari took on the role of special advisor to the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and also became the official spokesperson for the regime, roles he holds simultaneously with his position as president of QIASS.
Al-Ansari also writes columns for Qatari newspapers. In a 2021 column, he applauded Hamas’s skirmish with Israel and advocated for Israel’s annihilation.
U.S. Jewish Security: In Qatar’s Hands?
On June 17, 2020, Mr. Masters was featured in an article titled “The World’s Top Jewish Security Official Says Its Time to Address Bias in Synagogue Protection.” It noted Mr. Masters’ belief that the Jewish community needs law enforcement against threats while also suggesting the police should support minority and gay communities facing biased and violent policing. Mr. Masters made these remarks without disclosing the Soufan Group and Soufan Center’s relationship with the Qatari regime and its security apparatus, some of which were alleged to have enforced anti-LGBTQ activities during the World Cup.
In the academic year of 2019-2020, Hillel International reported a spike in antisemitic incidents at North American colleges. By 2021 and 2022, violent events became more regular. Securing Jewish students on American campuses is well within the mandate of SCN.
A Jewish Federations of North America press release on October 23rd of this year stated, “according to the Secure Community Network (SCN) and ADL, anti-Israeli activists and organizations like BDS, National Students for Justice in Palestine, the Boston Mapping Project, and the Council on Islamic American Relations (CAIR) have already flooded the Internet with messaging that blames Israel rather than Hamas nationalists for the current crisis.” In 2020, SCN partnered with Hillel (the national Jewish student group umbrella organization), to combat BDS campaigns on college campuses.
Students at the Qatar Foundation openly support the global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and host events at the organization’s facilities in Doha.
Brooke Goldstein, CEO of the Lawfare Project, has alleged, “the bulk of all Middle Eastern donations [to American colleges and universities] come from Qatari donors, and one entity — Qatar Foundation — accounts for virtually all of the donations from Qatar. Qatari cash helped to incubate the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign on U.S. college campuses.”
Disturbingly, many of these students have faced threats and physical harm from groups and individuals affiliated with BDS movements, allegedly funded by the Qatar Foundation (QF). Yet QF has financed events for Mr. Masters’ Soufan Center in Doha, Qatar. These ties extend to Qatar University, where Abdul Jabbar Saeed, who heads the university’s Quran and Sunnah department, took to Al Jazeera in May 2020 to cite a prophecy about Muslims killing Jews.
Mr. Masters’ Jewish communal organization touted its work combatting BDS while the think tank whose board of governors he served on was taking money from a virulently anti-Israel organization that organized BDS activity at its main headquarters.
Qatar’s influence, both overt and covert, within the U.S. national security framework raises pressing concerns. The blurred lines between organizations designed to ensure the security of American Jewish communities and entities with potential antisemitic interests demand immediate scrutiny.
This convoluted matrix of monetary transactions, alliances, and partnerships reveals worrisome vulnerabilities in U.S. national security, especially concerning its Jewish community. The undeniable extent of Qatar’s reach, from its substantial donations to academic establishments to its ties within the U.S. political and national security infrastructure, is alarming. Even more distressing is the blurring of boundaries between institutions committed to protecting American Jewish communities, and those potentially harboring antisemitic sentiments.
It is crucial to understand these connections to ensure the unwavering commitment of those responsible for safeguarding vulnerable communities. Failing to address these ties could have grave consequences, not just for the Jewish community, but for American democratic values.
Given the vast mosaic of these connections, one cannot help but conclude that a thorough investigation into Mr. Masters’ links to Qatar is both necessary and urgent. The American Jewish community, like any other, deserves transparency, especially when it pertains to the very security entities meant to protect it. It is vital to ascertain whether the man at the forefront of their protection can effectively balance his roles, or if his allegiance to one might jeopardize his commitment to the other.
Mr. Masters and Mr. Soufan were both sent detailed queries regarding this story. Mr. Masters response, sent on his behalf by SCN, is published below as Appendix I. The questions sent to Mr. Masters are published below as Appendix II. Mr. Soufan did not respond before publication.
Mr. Masters praised the government of Qatar in opening remarks he gave to the Global Security Forum in Doha in 2021, “For their support in fostering a space for the open and honest exchange of ideas we extend our thanks to the government of Qatar.” He continued, commenting on his role as CEO of SCN, “I see this in my work as director of the Secure Community Network in the United States every day. We are all connected. The solutions require a whole of community approach . . . the global security situation is complex. The threats are serious and the dangers are real.” Hopefully, Mr. Masters realizes the danger of Hamas, and its sponsor in Doha. He should distance himself from his former Qatari connections and condemn the Islamist peninsular regime for what it really is: A danger to global security and the American Jewish community he has sworn to protect.
Can one truly serve two masters, especially when one of those entities might have interests diametrically opposed to the community he serves?

In that role, and in his previous roles in both government and civil society, Mr. Masters worked with security experts from numerous countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Any suggestion that there is something inappropriate with that demonstrates a total ignorance of the important work done by US government officials and members of the nonprofit, academic, and private sectors, and the relationships that result from these efforts – particularly in the national security space. It is thanks, in part, to these numerous relationships that Israeli and American officials are better able to protect our Jewish communities.
Mr. Masters is fully engaged with his team at the Secure Community Network to protect the Jewish people in North America. This is a continuation of his approximately twenty years of public service as a professional devoted to the domestic and national security interests of the United States of America, and the Jewish people.

In a recent no-holds-barred conversation with political commentator Joy Thayer, ex-Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), General Michael Flynn, unveiled a shocking narrative surrounding the moral integrity of certain members within the U.S. legislature.
He alleged that the hold of globalist agendas over these officials stems from compromising situations they find themselves in during official overseas trips.
He expressed his disdain for what he described as a “totally, completely broken” House of Representatives, which he alleges is under the thumbs of corporate lobbyists and globalists. According to Flynn, these external entities have managed to ensnare some legislators through compromising situations during Congressional Delegation (CODEL) trips overseas.
The former DIA chief’s narrative took an even darker turn as he alleged that some of these trips saw members of both the Senate and the House being compromised through sleeping with children.
“We have the House of Representatives right now is totally, completely broken. And they’re totally owned by the corporate lobbyists and frankly, by the globalists who own many of these people because they’ve been compromised on some of these what they call CODEL trips overseas, where these members of both the House and the Senate get compromised by sleeping with children. And they compromise. And these are real things. These are very real things, or they get them caught up in the world of big bucks, big money,” Flynn said.
The Gateway Pundit reporter, Kristinn Taylor wrote, “Members of Congress have a documented history of sleeping with underage children. Not a lot, but enough to make this plausible. Denny Hastert paid hush money to cover up child molestation. Gerry Studds plied an underage male page with intoxicants and had sex with him,” adding, “Also, over the years some Secret Service agents overseas have compromised themselves getting drunk and sleeping with hookers.”
Trump pardoned Flynn, who served as his National Security Advisor, as well as Roger Stone. Stone previously hinted that Flynn possesses sensitive information, including a list of high-profile individuals involved in pedophilia.
“Gen Flynn has a list of high level pedophiles the release of which will decimate the Deep State dons #Netherlands,” wrote Stone in 2017.

REGARDLESS of the so-called schism between Sunni and Shia Islamists, when it comes to the centuries-long slaughtering of the Jews (next stop onto the Christians, the “Sunday People”), well they are joined-at-hip. The reasons are manifold and manifest.

How can they defend this?

On Oct. 7 Hamas terrorists targeted the Nova Peace and Love music festival in southern Israel. Thousands of young Israelis and hundreds of foreigners attended the event.
The young men and women at the concert ran for their lives. At least one group of young men and women hid in a bomb shelter nearby, thinking they would be safe. Hamas repeatedly lobbed grenades into the shelter, murdering dozens of kids.
CNN ran a segment on this gruesome event. We have decided to keep the victims anonymous in our report. A young Jewish man reportedly took the video. CNN did not include the footage we are releasing here today.

Crucible, not victim
Indeed, the population in Gaza is not the victim of its
Islamist leaders! On the contrary, it is the crucible in which that leadership was forged and from which it emerged.
Nothing can underscore the gruesome truth of that assertion more indelibly than this excerpt from a chilling telephone conversation between an elated Gazan terrorist and his enthralled parents—rejoicing over the slaughter of Israeli civilians.

This is the nature of the enemy. This is the human condition—or rather the inhuman condition with which Israel is compelled to contend.
Nothing as practical as good theory
This failure of Israeli society to grasp the true dimensions—the depth, and durability—of Arab rejection of Jewish sovereignty has long been reflected in both its domestic policy and in its foreign policy towards the nation’s Arab adversaries. Nowhere is this failing more glaring than in Israeli policy toward the Palestinian-Arabs in general, and toward the Arabs of Gaza in particular.
At this point, we would do well to recall the wise dictum of eminent social psychologist, Kurt Leven, who observed: “There is nothing so practical as a good theory.” After all, action, without comprehension is a little like swinging a hammer without knowing where the nails are, just as hazardous—and just as harmful. In this regard, good theory creates an understanding of cause and effect and hence facilitates effective policy.
Accordingly, to devise effective policy to contend with abiding Arab enmity, Israel must correctly conceptualize the conflict over the issue of Jewish sovereignty in the Holy Land.
Archetypical zero-sum game
The unvarnished truth is that—correctly conceptualized—the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinian-Arabs over the control of the Holy Land is a clash between two rival collectives, with irreconcilable foundational narratives.
They are irreconcilable because the raison d’etre of the one is the preservation of Jewish political sovereignty in the Holy Land, while the raison d’etre of the other is the annulment of Jewish political sovereignty in the Holy Land—thus generating irreconcilable visions of homeland.
As such, the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinian-Arabs is an archetypical zero-sum game, in which the side’s gains inevitably imply the other side’s loss
As such it is a clash involving protagonists with antithetical and mutually exclusive core objectives. Only one can emerge victorious; the other vanquished. There are no consolation prizes!
Consequently, as a clash of collectives, whose outcome will be determined by collective victory or defeat, it cannot be personalized. The fate of individual members of one collective cannot be a deciding determinant of the policy of the rival collective—and certainly, not a consideration that impacts the probability of collective victory or defeat.
Grudgingly accepted or greatly feared?
Thus, Israel’s survival imperative must dictate that it forgo any expectation of eventual approval from the Arabs. For the foreseeable future, this seductive illusion will remain an unattainable pipe dream. Rather, Israel must reconcile itself to the stern, but sober, conclusion: The most it can realistically hope for is to be grudgingly accepted; the least it must attain is to be greatly feared.
Any more benign policy goals are a recipe for disaster.
To underscore the crucial importance of this seemingly harsh assessment, I would invite any prospective dissenter to consider the consequences of Jewish defeat and Arab victory. Indeed, a cursory survey of the gory regional realities should suffice to drive home the significance of what would accompany such an outcome.
Accordingly, only once a decisive Jewish collective victory has been achieved, can the issue of individual injustice and suffering in the Arab collective be addressed as a policy consideration. Until then, neither the individual well-being nor the societal welfare of the opposing collective can be considered a primary policy constraint or
After all, had the imperative of collective victory not been the overriding factor of the Allies’ strategy in WWII, despite the horrendous civilian causalities that it inflicted on the opposing collective, the world might well have been living in slavery today.
In weighing the question of the fate of individual members of the opposing collective, it is imperative to reiterate the point made at the start of this column: the Palestinian-Arab collective is not the hapless victim of radical terror-affiliated leaders. Quite the opposite. It is, in fact, the societal crucible in which they were forged, and from which they emerged. Indeed, its leadership is a reflection of, not an imposition on, Palestinian-Arab society.
Accordingly, the Palestinian-Arab collective must be considered an implacable enemy—not a prospective peace partner…and it must be treated as such.

It is in report in the Washington Stand that Tabia Lee, who spent decades working in education, talked about her term as the DEI director at De Anza Community College in California.
While the apparent goal was for her to provide “equity, social justice, and academic success for all members,” she said, it actually focused on watching “blatant” anti-Semitism and the revelation that “all” doesn’t mean “all” students.
In a writing in the New York Post, she charged, “I made the mistake of trying to create an authentically inclusive learning environment for everyone, including Jewish students.”
She quickly learned. “I can safely say that toxic DEI ideology deliberately stokes hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people,” she said.
At first, as DEI chief, several Jewish students approached her and complained about the “anti-Semitic” environment on campus.
“Assuming her role, she attempted to bring inclusion for Jewish students by inviting Jewish speakers to campus,” the report explained, only to have those plans “quickly shut down by the institution.”
She was told not to raise issues of “Jewish inclusion” or anti-Semitism.”
She eventually was labeled “dirty Zionist,” she explained, and lost her job.
“I have never encountered a more hostile environment toward the members of any racial, ethnic or religious group. I was astounded, but I shouldn’t have been,” she said, according to the Stand.
The “rhetoric” wasn’t the end result, however, she noted.
“When you stoke that kind of division and anger, you unleash fires you can’t control,” she explained.
“[S]ome people approach the idea of diversity, equity, and inclusion with integrity,” explained Joseph Backholm, of the Center for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement at Family Research Council.
He suggested Lee is an example, and approached her responsibilities “from a place of genuine respect for human rights and human dignity, regardless of who you are.”
But that’s not universal in the DEI industry, he pointed out.
Some players, he said, “use the language of inclusion to gain their own kind of cultural dominance so they can assert their will over people they’ve decided don’t deserve the respect of toleration.”
David Closson, also of the Center for Biblical Worldview, said, “Under a Judeo-Christian understanding of morality, rape, arson, looting, and sending rockets into schools is always morally wrong. [But] under a critical theory understanding of morality, we can’t know if a particular action is right or wrong until we know who did it and why.”

As professional terrorists in Hamas were staging a massacre of innocent Israeli civilians on Oct. 7, a “mob” of “ordinary Palestinians” joined in, delivering a horror that was “just as cruel,” a new report confirms.
Videos, eyewitness accounts and the IDF reveal the Gaza residents who followed Hamas terrorists into Israel were mostly “young men with knives, overweight dads, and at least one elderly man on crutches,” confirms an investigative report from the Washington Free Beacon.
Rabble “spontaneously” joined the terrorists for an additional wave of atrocities, the report said.
IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon that large numbers of Gazans who were not members of any terrorist group entered Israel and participated in the atrocities.
“They did what you say they did,” he told the publication.
The actual extent of civilians’ involvement in the murders of more than 1,000 Israelis isn’t clear but the fact it happened has left Israelis living near Gaza convinced, “Coexistence is dead, and Gaza must be crushed,” the report said.
“The second wave of Arabs who came into the country were just as cruel as the terrorists of the first wave,” Eshkol Regional Council mayor Gadi Yarkoni told the publication. “We saw that it was not only Hamas who came to slaughter us. It was all the residents of Gaza, including people who worked in our kibbutzim.”
That region is adjacent to the Gaza border, and while some 1,400 residents were killed immediately in the attack, hundreds more were abducted..
He was on Israel’s Channel 12 recently, and said, “I don’t know what’s going on with our hostages and missing people. Their families are crying out, and the people of Gaza, who we once thought were good, are responsible. It’s not just Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Ordinary people from Gaza took [our citizens].”
He said the IDF now needs to “finish” the mission “so that we can live in peace.”
He told the publicationn probably half of the estimated 3,000 Gazans in the assault were “civilians.”
The Free Beacon explained, “According to a video that was posted online, Gazans used a bulldozer to tear down a section of Israel’s border fence, and hundreds of unarmed men and boys—wearing T-shirts, baseball caps, sneakers, and flip-flops—crossed into the country. They came mostly on foot but also by bicycle, scooter, and motorcycle. Someone appears to have brought a donkey. Other online videos show ordinary Gazans taking selfies on and around Israeli tanks and ransacking a military base on the border. All the while, cries of ‘Allahu Akbar’ rang out.”
Videos from communities of Be’erim, Nir Oz and others showed “dozens of ordinary-looking Gazans looting and taking part in killings…” the report said.
A former Israeli commando, Rax Cohen, survived Hamas’ attack on the Nova music festival, where hundreds were killed.
He said in the report he hid in a bush with friends for almost seven hours, and watched as “Gazan civilians,” men “wearing Adidas and armed only with knives and axes,” raped and murdered a woman.
“They always laughed. I can’t forget how they laughed,” he told the Free Beacon.
Another witness, an Israeli soldier, said he encountered “amateur terrorists,” without weapons beyond a knife.
“They are not good fighters, from what we have seen. But it was their numbers and their evil. That’s all. You unleash a lot of people and say, ‘Do what you want, and have fun. Enjoy the murder. And also loot,'” he said.
Other witness accounts cited in the report also described the “amateur” terrorists.
The report quoted one, explained, “The Hamas terrorists wore green camouflage or black uniforms and were armed with automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, and hand grenades. The ordinary Gazans wore everyday clothing and came unarmed or carrying only knives, although some appeared to have taken firearms from fallen Israelis or Hamas terrorists.”

One would think that everyone would agree it’s wrong for terrorists to murder women and children. Apparently, one would be wrong, if the results of a new Harvard/Harris poll are correct.
According to that poll, a slight majority of American 18-24 year-olds think Hamas’ slaughter of the 1200 Israeli civilians “can be justified,” even though they agree it’s genocidal.
It’s not that they are uninformed. They have been intensively taught that political violence is justified if they are fighting for a just cause. It’s not that they necessary think about the details, the details don’t matter. What matters is they believe context determines morality.

As the world awaits Israel’s next move in Gaza, a battle of equal significance has been raging like an unstoppable inferno in Eastern Europe: the fight to finally demolish Ukrainian child trafficking syndicates and Adrenochrome farms, two goals inextricably linked since the criminal Biden regime began funding Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his criminal coconspirators in early 2022.
In August, Real Raw News exclusively reported on a joint U.S. Special Forces-Russian Spetznas team that joined forces, pooling their abilities, to search for missing children in Ukraine and Poland, as approved by General Eric M. Smith and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Their directive also included destroying Adrenochrome laboratories and their operators, middlemen, and honchos.
According to sources in Gen. Smith’s offices and at the FSB, Russia’s Federal Security Service, the joint unit capsized a multi-billion-dollar Adrenochrome cartel that had been operating with impunity along the Ukraine-Poland border. Sources said the unit spent the first half of October dismantling the Radchenko Cartel, which kidnapped countless children, sucked their adrenal glands dry, and, after nourishing them back to reasonable health, sold them to pedophiles and into sex slavery. Reportedly, children can be drained several times before adrenal fluid becomes inert.
The FSB said Petro Radchenko’s cartel was indirectly financed by the Biden regime and handled fifty percent of Adrenochrome exported beyond Ukraine’s borders.
“Your fake pResident Biden gives the dog Zelenskyy money. Zelenskyy gives it to the cartels. The cartels make and ship the Adrenochrome,” FSB agent Andrei Zakharov told RRN.
Principal intelligence leading to the cartel’s holdings came from electronic devices belonging to Mykola Taran, the Adrenochrome peddler Special Forces/Spetznas killed in August. Data on Taran’s hard drives led the elite commandos to an unguarded shipping warehouse in Ustyluh, Ukraine, less than a mile from the border into Poland.
On paper, the building was leased to Neptune Company Ltd., “the only domestic manufacturer of chewing gum for children with stickers and tattoos for especially young children under 15 years in Ukraine,” according to Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade website.
Special Forces/Spetznas surveilled the building and saw no bubblegum or tattoos, and whoever had occupied the warehouse appeared to have departed hastily, leaving behind three dozen medical-grade refrigerators, often used to chill Adrenochrome, and 6,000 grams of fentanyl, one of several synthetic opioids common in Adrenochrome formulations. They also found the decomposed remains of a man with a bullet in his head and whose identification and cell phone the killers had conveniently left at the scene. Spetznas knew him as Sergei Nicholas, a prolific Ukrainian drug trafficker with a penchant for peddling drugs to school kids. For reasons unknown, the cartel had apparently whacked its henchman.
The Special Forces-Spetznas team set explosive charges and destroyed the building.
Information on Nicholas’ phone led the team across the border into Hrubieszów, Poland, where they sought a man named Arek Ordyan and his wife, Tamara. These international Adrenochrome brokers masqueraded as itinerant civil rights activists while on hiatus from moving thousands of liters of refined Adrenochrome across Europe and into the United States. According to the FSB, the Ordyans were friends of Zelenskyy and the Radchenko Cartel’s most profitable salespeople.
Among their 13 homes in seven countries was a charming two-story house with trimmed front and rear lawns, manicured shrubbery, a vine trellis, a white picket fence, and four Kalashnikov-toting security guards walking the perimeter. The unit dealt with the guards and entered the home. They found the couple stoned out of their minds on Adrenochrome in an upstairs bedroom beside a pair of depleted infusion bags. The woman tried to speak, but her words came out slow and odd, incoherently, while Arek Ordyan displayed unnatural strength, lifting a 200-pound cement pedestal with one hand and hurling it at a Spetznas. If the pharmaceutical cocktail enhanced strength, it did not confer invulnerability to bullets. Rounds from the Spetznas’ AK-74s and Special Forces’ M4 carbines lit Arek up like a Christmas tree. He lay dead on a shag carpet saturated in blood. His wife wore an expressionless face, devoid of emotion. “It’s just a little candy,” she said. She then tried to parley, offering the unit sex for her freedom.
“You have something we want,” a Spetznas told her, “and it’s not your body.”
She glanced at her husband’s ventilated corpse. “He was just a meat sack anyway. You know the expression? I don’t even know when or where I am right now.”
“We will find out together,” the Spetznas said, and injected her with his own candy, Naxolone to counteract the Adrenochrome’s dizzying effects, and Polonium, a highly radioactive poison that can kill quickly in concentrated doses.
He showed her the syringe. “This will kill you fast. If you tell us what we need to know, and you are telling the truth, I will give you an antidote. Or you die here bleeding through every orifice,” the Spetznas said.
Real Raw News’ sources in Gen. Smith’s office and at the FSB have disputed nuances of the above interaction. FSB agent Andrei Zakharov said the U.S. Special Forcers leader opposed the poisoning, while Smith’s office said both leads agreed to poison “the bitch.”
Regardless, she talked, divulging the supposed whereabouts of Radchenko and his stockpile in Ukraine. When asked about the tens of thousands of missing and kidnapped children, she fell silent momentarily. Then she said that Rodchenko didn’t abduct children or siphon adrenochrome, that he only distributed the finished product after “others” had done the dirtiest work. The soldiers disbelieved her, but she had nothing to say except, “give me the cure!”
“Oh, there is no antidote,” she was told and was left to die.
“You know now how we do things in Russia,” the Spetznas told their American counterparts. “We do not bring the guilty to trial. It wastes time. She deserves much worse.”
Her information brought the unit back to Ukraine, where they split into two tactical teams. One penetrated the Deep State coven of Kyiv and put surveillance on Radchenko’s lavish townhouse in the wealthy Pecherskyi District, along the Dnipro River, a region magically unscathed after two years of alleged unremitting hostilities.
“We do not bomb civilians like your media says,” a Spetznas told his Special Forces associate. “We do like you. We attack only the Deep State.”
Meanwhile, the second team embarked on a lengthy trip to historic Lutsk in northwestern Ukraine, where five miles north of the city, they found an industrial park teeming with suspicious activity—8-man security teams patrolled a razor-wire fence and checked IDs of persons in vehicles wishing to pass through a single point of ingress. At least 50 cars and a dozen tractor-trailers were parked in a lot watched by surveillance cameras everywhere. A swerving gravel road outside the fence led to an uncontrolled airfield with a 5,000-foot paved runway, upon which sat an idling Antonov AN-140 turboprop. Men were loading medical coolers onto the plane. On either side of the runway, guards in technical vehicles—military jargon for a light improvised fighting vehicle, typically an open-backed civilian pickup truck or four-wheel drive vehicle, mounting a machine gun—watched the loaders and traffic entering and leaving the airstrip.
“Adrenochrome?” asked a Special Forces operator.
“Adrenochrome,” a Spetznas confirmed.
The unit, agent Zakharov told RRN, considered storming the airfield and industrial park but hesitated because they could not know whether kidnapped children were inside strapped to gurneys with needles and polyurethane tubes protruding from their necks.
“If even one child is there, they not want to risk it,” Zakharov said.
That evening, they singled out a worker, tailed him from the industrial park to his Lutsk apartment, and intercepted him at his doorstep. When a Special Forces soldier threatened to slice the man’s throat from ear to ear, he cowered and acquiesced to demands for information, saying, though, that the industrial park held no children, only 250,000 liters of refrigerated Adrenochrome and a paramilitary force large enough to wage a small war. He said if he didn’t report to work at 6:00 a.m. the following day, that force would investigate his absence.
“You tell me the truth about how many children are in there and we will let you live,” a Spetznas told him.
“No children. I swear,” the worker replied.
“If you lie, we’ll come for you. We’ll come for your family. If you have no family, then your friends. No one you know, not even your dog, if you have one, will be safe,” the Spetznas said.
“I swear,” the man repeated, “we have no children.”
The Spetznas sliced his throat from ear to ear and left him to bleed out.
Both teams notified Defense Minister Shoigu of their progress, and a decision was reached.
At 11:00 p.m. on October 10, an hour after the worker bled to death on his doorstep, Russian cruise missiles rained down on the Industrial Park and airfield, cratering the runway and razing the buildings until all that remained were piles of smoldering rubble and twisted steel.

Federal officials have sounded the alarm on the potential infiltration of members belonging to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and Hezbollah through the southern border, as highlighted in an internal memo dated Oct. 20, exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The recent conflict between Israel and Hamas, which escalated with terror attacks on civilians on October 7, has the federal authorities on high alert.
The San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sent the memo warning about potential encounters with members linked to terrorist organizations in the US Southern border.
“San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border,” the memo reads.
“Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico,” the memo adds.

This new development comes after Rep. Jamaal Bowman and other leftists are already calling on the United States to take in Palestinian refugees from Gaza.

Apparently Hamas had some help from former U.S. Mideast envoy Dennis Ross—according to Ross himself.
Ross has been appearing as an expert commentator on major media outlets in recent days, including on NBC-TV’s “Meet the Press” on October 8, CNN’s “Amanpour and Company” on October 13, and Fox News on October 14, among others.
Yet Ross did not think it was relevant to mention in any of those interviews that he himself pressured Israel to let Hamas obtain the cement—a role he admitted in a Washington Post op-ed on August 8, 2014.
In the op-ed, Ross described how, as a U.S. envoy, he urged Israel to allow Hamas to import cement even though he knew, at the time, that Hamas had been using cement for military purposes.
“At times,” he wrote in the Post, “I argued with Israeli leaders and security officials, telling them they needed to allow more construction materials, including cement, into Gaza so that housing, schools and basic infrastructure could be built. They countered that Hamas would misuse it, and they were right.”
In the 1930s, Americans were divided about permitting U.S. exports to another terrorist regime, Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt maintained trade with the Nazis, arguing that the persecution of the Jews in Germany was none of America’s business.
But Jewish organizations, and many other Americans, participated in a boycott of German goods. One noted supporter of the boycott was the mayor of New York City, Fiorello La Guardia.
In 1935, the city’s Bridge Authority purchased five hundreds tons of sheet steel from Nazi Germany, in order to build the Triborough Bridge.
La Guardia learned of the deal while bedridden at Mount Sinai Hospital after a painful attack of sciatica. But he did not let his illness deter from him intervening.
In a telegram to Bridge Authority chairman Nathan Burkan, the mayor announced that he did not want that “damned steel” in his city. “The only commodity we can import from Hitlerland now is hatred,” La Guardia declared, “and we don’t want any in our country.”
Technically, the Bridge Authority was an independent agency that did not require the mayor’s approval for its construction purchases, but the mayor found grounds to block the deal: he bore responsibility for New Yorkers’ safety, and he could not vouch for the reliability of Hitler’s steel. He wrote to Burkan: “I cannot be certain of its safety unless I first have every bit and piece of German made material tested before used.” He added, in German: “Verstehen Sie [Do you understand] ?”
La Guardia took his share of heat for his one-man campaign against Hitler Germany. Six thousand German-Americans held a rally in New York City and pledged to vote him out of office. Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels threatened to bomb New York City. Secretary of State Cordell Hull complained that La Guardia’s actions were harming German-American relations.
The mayor was not fazed. “I run the subways and [Hull] runs the State Department–except when I abrogate a treaty or something,” he declared in classic La Guardia style.
One dissenter within the Roosevelt administration regarding Nazi Germany was the secretary of the interior, Harold Ickes.
In late 1937, President Roosevelt approved the sale of helium to power Germany’s Zeppelin airships, telling Congress it was “sound national policy” for the United States to be “a good neighbor” to Germany.
After initially supporting the sale, Secretary Ickes reversed himself in the wake of Hitler’s annexation of Austria in March 1938. That aggression proved it would be dangerous to provide the Nazis with a gas that was “of military importance,” Ickes declared. News of the dispute leaked to the press. A number of members of Congress then publicly opposed the sale, and mail to the White House ran heavily against it as well.
At a White House conference between Roosevelt, Ickes, and the administration’s legal experts in May, the solicitor general informed the president that the sale could not go forward without the interior secretary’s approval.
But FDR refused to give up. At a cabinet session two days later, the president again pressed Ickes to support the sale; Roosevelt was backed by all but two of the cabinet members. (Labor Secretary Frances Perkins and Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau, Jr. said nothing).
FDR suggested he could relieve Ickes of responsibility by giving him a letter stating it was Roosevelt’s “judgment, as Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy, that this helium was not of military importance.” Ickes still refused to budge.
It’s a pity that statesmen of the caliber of La Guardia or Ickes weren’t around when Dennis Ross was urging Israel to let Hamas import cement. One suspects they would have offered very different counsel.

STEEPED in tracking and tracing the funds for Islamic jihadi terrorism for over two decades, certain emerging patterns became distinct. As always, “follow the money” is part and parcel of the hunt — though many can’t fathom the complex logistics of said operational phrase. Indeed, a boondoggle like none other; a tangled web meant to deceive.
AS such, it behooves every professional steeped in said twisted terrain to seek out others whose reputations are rock solid in this arena.

On October 18, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions on ten “key Hamas terrorist and financial facilitators in Gaza and elsewhere including Sudan, Türkiye, Algeria, and Qatar.” Only ten? What about the rest?
The absence of the Islamic Republic of Iran from this list is glaring. Iran controls Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Hezbollah, and many other terrorist groups in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere.
Larry Kudlow, the former director of President Trump’s National Economic Council, fittingly pointed out that “Iran is the financial facilitator, “master planner” and “chief puppeteer” of Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and other terror groups, and it is increasing its threats to the US. So, why is Biden reluctant to sanction and sternly warn Iran?
And why did he fail to Sanction Qatar? Qatar – erroneously presumed a US ally, has been funding Hamas and sheltering its leaders for decades. It also uses its wealth to incentivize and corrupt Western institutions, businesses, officeholders, politicians, influential personalities, and media outlets.
Qatar’s generous funding works like fentanyl, addicting universities’ boards, administrations, and professors to Qatar’s money. Not surprisingly, they allow and sometimes endorse pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian propaganda and let antisemitism flourish to satisfy Qatar and keep the money flowing.
The Qatar Foundation, which distributes these funds, is headed by Sheikha Hind, the sister of the Qatari Emir oversees. On October 12, she asserted“unreserved solidarity with Gaza.” She praised the activities of students “enrolled at universities across the foundation” for their “global awareness campaigns condemning Israel’s ‘Murder and Destruction’ In Gaza.”
Qatar’s money also influenced many Washington-based think tanks. Among them is the Brookings Institute, which operates a branch in Doha. For years, it kept secret the millions of dollars it received from Qatar. A payment of $14.8 million to Brookings’ former vice president, former US ambassador to Israel (twice), and Obama’s Middle East envoy Martin Indyk proved a good investment. Indyk has made many public statements harshly criticizing Israel, often parroting Qatar’s, the Palestinians’, and Hamas’ lies against the Jewish state. When Qatar’s payments to him were exposed, Indyk contended Qatar’s payments did not influence him or Brookings’ positions.
However, in June 2022, then Brookings’ president, John Allen, was forced to resign because court documents showed the retired four-star general and Obama’s appointed former commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, was secretly lobbying for Qatar in violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) Allen denied the charges. The Department of Justice closed the investigation in January 2023.
Support of pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian groups in the US is not limited to foreign entities. It also comes directly and indirectly from US-based foundations. George and Alexander Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) is one of them.
The Washington Free Beacon revealed the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC) in San Francisco, “a “fiscally sponsored project” of the George Soros-funded Tides Center, is “urging high schoolers (added emphasis) around the country to join a “Walk Out for Gaza” protests. The AROC advocated chants, such as “Israel, Israel you can’t hide, We charge you with genocide,” and “Free, Free Palestine, and “circulating media talking points—saying the United States is “complicit” in the “genocide” of Palestinians and must demand an immediate ceasefire—and signs that read “Decolonize Palestine” and “Palestine Will be Free.”
The OSF has been funding the two pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian groups Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow that invaded the Capitol on October 18, demonstrating against Israel’s response to Hamas atrocities, accusing it of “genocide” and demanding a ceasefire. Since 2017, Jewish Voice for Peace has received $650,000 from Soros for its “human rights” work in the Middle East, and it was granted an additional two-year award in 2021. IfNotNow, received $400,000 in 2019 and 2021 from the OSF.
For decades, the OSF also funded progressive pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel individuals’ training and “continuing education.” The “graduates” are helped into academia, nonprofits, and media positions and win extra funding from Soros and his friends, win local and national elections, furthering Soros’s and the pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian messages and influencing US policy.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan progressive Democrat, the Squad member who keeps a Palestinian flag at her Congressional office, is an excellent example of how beneficiaries of Soros’s largess operate. The $225,180 grant Tlaib received from OSF in 2016 as a “Leadership in Government” fellow paid off.
Tlaib, a virulent anti-Israel, pro-Hamas activist, supports boycotting Israel, comparing it “to boycotting the Nazi regime,” and claims Israel is an apartheid state. She has a “map in her office where Israel is covered with a sticky note that says ‘Palestine.’
The Soros Agenda details the OSF’s funding–directly and indirectly–of many other organizations and influential individuals linked with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), all designated terrorist organizations.
Some still consider the funding of organizations and individuals spreading the poisonous genocidal ideology of Iran and its proxies, Hamas, as free speech instead of incitement to and support of terrorism. But don’t expect the Biden administration to stop this incitement anytime soon. After all, the President just gifted Hamas $100 million as “humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people in Gaza.”
