The Mirage & Facade Of Israeli Democracy:”Elected Despotism” Tolerates/Encourages Militant Jihad. The Whys & Wherefores. Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

BEFORE assorted enemies of Israel – the homeland of the Jewish people – pounce on this site’s assertion that the country is not a (normative) democracy, it must be clarified: When compared to its jungle-like neighbors, yes, Israel is indeed a democratic entity. Not only that, its top leaders bend over backwards to ensure that unbridled multiculturalism – an anything goes mentality akin to the “wild west” – is their calling card. Concomitantly and paradoxically, an increasingly hostile and dangerous Arab/Muslim minority holds the whip over the majority Jewish public as a result of said obsession. Leftists alike. Effectively, the leaders are hell bent on proving their liberal bonafides. Resultant, they continuously trample on the rights of the majority (secular and religious) Zionist public! Credo quia absurdum.

MORE specifically, countless conflate (and confuse) Israel’s liberalism – for granting unfettered civil and human rights to the gay community and its minority citizens – with the sine qua non of Israel’s democratic veneer. Mind you, as if THAT, in itself, qualifies for its hallowed mantle. Hogwash. In fact, while many (other than those who despise Israel just for surviving, regardless of all else) prefer to believe in this fairy tale, few dare ask the most salient question: Since the majority Zionist public ushered PM Netanyahu – a supposed “right-wing” leader, having won 3 elections since 1996 via said creds – into power, how can it be that this same majority’s wishes are ignored, time and again?

MOST tellingly, it is the right-wing public which stands behind a muscular response to domestic Arab/Muslim militant jihad, still yet, PM Netanyahu holds back from said tactics! In other words, as previously noted:

To pre-empt this escalation and freeze the current wave of attacks, Israel’s military and intelligence chiefs have put forward a 7-point plan of action:

  • A general lockdown on Palestinian-populated areas of Judea, Samaria and Hebron for an indefinite period.
  • This lockdown would extend to the Palestinian districts of East Jerusalem.
  • Its borderline would run roughly along the defense barrier. Electronic tracking devices would be installed in the gaps with security personnel deployed according to need.
  • The roadblocks thrown up on the side roads leading to Palestinian villages and towns along the main highways, like Route 60 in the Gush Etzion and Hebron districts, have proved ineffective. The Palestinians find ways of circumventing them.
  • Blowing up the homes of Palestinian terrorist killers has proved disappointing as an effective deterrent to the spreading violence.
  • Military and intelligence experts are of the opinion that the desired effect of a de-escalation will only be achieved by an ultimatum: Give up terrorism or be cut off from Israel, so losing your jobs and your major sources of income.
  • Reservists will need to be mobilized on a large scale for this plan’s implementation.

{The list of terror victims could fill a book, yes, they are the “sacrifices for peace” coined by Israel’s addled “elder statesman”, Shimon Peres.}

SO, what the hell is going on in Israel? Well, instead of taking concrete PROACTIVE measures, the so-called right-wing leadership are always REACTIVE, at least when it comes to the domestic fifth column. This investigative journalist defies anyone to prove otherwise. Perversely and non-democratically, the majority public (who elected him) is relegated to listening to macho posturing and ever more bold-faced lies from “Bibi and Co.”

In a speech at the site of last Friday’s shooting attack in Tel Aviv the prime minister did seem to adopt a hint of Liberman’s often-harsh rhetoric on Arab citizens of Israel, vowing to “dramatically increase” police enforcement in Arab towns and root out “pockets of lawlessness” in the Arab population.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaks to press after lighting a candle outside a pub on Dizengoff Street in central Tel Aviv, January 02, 2016, a day after two people were killed in a shooting at the bar. (Miriam Alster/Flash90)

ASSUREDLY, almost always, the security services catch the terrorists AFTER the fact. However, dead is dead, and as far as anyone can tell they have yet to be resurrected.

Amazing Israel's photo.

CONSEQUENTLY, the mirage and facade of Israeli democracy must be explained and placed in plain view. An effective starting point can be accessed here: The Paradox of Israeli Politics: Vote Right, Get Left.

COUPLED with said primary lesson into the dysfunctional morass which passes for Israel’s political system – akin to an insane asylum – it is imperative to hear from the master of this domain, Professor Paul Eidelberg.

The Brainwashed People of Israel

Prof. Paul Eidelberg

Various passages of Alexis de Tocqueville’s unfinished work The European Revolution, where he discusses France under Napoleon and Rome under Augustus Caesar, indicate that Israel, especially under the reign of Ariel Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahu, approximates a democratically elected despotism!

Since 30 and more parties compete in Israeli national elections, and since 8 parties win seats in the Knesset, Israel has never had a majority party at the helm of state!

As a consequence, and virtually unknown to Israeli political scientists, who may simply be steeped in the political complacency, no vivid normative public opinion really exists in this country. This means that the Government of Israel has no clear and coherent national purpose conceptually and existentially related to Israel’s Jewish heritage. Hence the Government stumbles along, pursuing improvised and placid, if not docile policies toward friends and foes.

Israel’s enemies are therefore free to pursue their designs against the Jewish state with hardly any concern about Israel’s reaction, since Israel’s timid government rarely takes the initiative in foreign affairs, leaving the public in a mental fog.

In other words, the Government of Israel has given our enemies a free ride. Israel’s Prime Minister hardly needs to worry about public opinion in this country. This was shockingly evident on June 14, 2009 when Mr. Netanyahu endorsed the creation of a Muslim Arab state on the land of Israel without a whisper of protest from the brainwashed sheeple of Israel.

This passivity, nay, servility, has been the modus operandi in Israel since 1993, when the Rabin Government recognized Yasser Arafat’s PLO. And this servility has been entrenched and unshakable since 1995, when Netanyahu became PM and passively adopted the inane and insane policy of “territory for peace” with the PLO, the murderous disciples of Muhammad.

The brainwashed sheeple of Israel, lacking a government with any clear and coherent national policy rooted in the Jewish heritage, and having no political analysts to warn them of the consequences of this ideological void, have become amenable to prime ministerial dictatorship. This became transparent on June 14, 2009 when PM Netanyahu, without Knesset or public debate, endorsed the creation of a Muslim state on the holy land of the Jewish people without a whisper of public protest from this brainwashed people, including its orthodox religious Jews!

In view of his endorsement of a Muslim-Arab state in the land of Israel without any discernible public protest from the brainwashed people of Israel, there is virtually nothing Netanyahu need fear doing for the sake of his peace process, including sharing sovereignty over Jerusalem with the Palestinian Authority!

BOTTOM LINE:

LET there be no doubt, if requisite procedural (political) prescriptive measures aren’t taken, suffice to assert that more and more dead Jewish bodies will pile up. The onus – for time immemorial – will land at the feet of Israel’s so-called democratic leaders. Indeed, this mantle will be justly deserved!!

Israel’s Appeasing Leaders Exact Knock-On Effects:Endangering The IDF & Israel’s Citizens Alike! Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

REGARDLESS of anything else, it is imperative to disconnect (in your mind’s eye) the IDF’s heroic fighters from their malignant political leaders. While Israel’s top politicians range from delusional to outright treacherous (relative to the majority Zionist public…a preponderance of the minority Arab public sides with the enemy, even among their elected MK’s), the fact of the matter is that the full extent of their treachery is only beginning to seep through to the majority’s consciousness. A national nightmare…a calamity waiting to happen…read on…

IN this regard, as repeatedly stated at this site and at a major interview on this very subject, Israel’s political echelon hues to the dictates of those who are not even elected to lead, but nonetheless bind the forces from protecting the nation. In effect, far leftists within Israel’s Arab-centric legal realm continuously hog tie the IDF into untenable knots, as media and academic leftists serve as their back benchers and “kosher” fig leafs. But to further understand the crazy-house which passes for Israel’s electoral system – that which underpins said travesties, in perpetual motion to deadly consequences – peer within this blogger’s op-ed at American Thinker – The Paradox of Israeli Politics: Vote Right, Get Left.

AS a result, IDF wars are fought akin to legal battles, as opposed to life and death operations against genocidal foes. And this is where the rubber meets the road, or, more trenchantly, where soldiers are left without proper (air) cover, under the dastardly “holier than thou” political dictate: do NOT harm the Gazan (enemy) civilian population! Never mind that they voted for a genocidal terror leadership, and in a “democratic” process no less. Shades of Hitler’s “democratic” election. Have mercy.

Reports in Israeli media cite IAF pilots who bitterly complain that due to thestrict limitations placed on their use of fire, they sometimes have to refrain from helping comrades facing terrorist fire on the ground.

“Testimony that is reaching us from fighter pilots who provide close air assistance to the combat soldiers who are currently fighting in the field,”Channel 2’s military correspondent Nir Dvori reported, “about growing frustration over the fact that they hear the forces below them on the ground asking for cover and close air support when they see the terrorists drawing near from short range, firing at them, and there is no approval, because of various limitations, so as not to hit innocent civilians, and out of concern not to hit uninvolved people, and for this reason they cannot always give covering fire, cannot always fire, and so the frustration is that to some extent, they are leaving the fighters on their own to fight on the ground…”

Yaron Lerman, a Facebook user who posted video of Dvori’s statement, asked: “Does Israel, as a Jewish and democratic state, have the right to forcibly conscript its citizens and send them to their deaths so as not to hurt enemy civilians? Is that what the state of Israel was established for?”

Ynet’s veteran defense analyst Ron Ben Yishai reported that one of the reasons that Hamas was prepared to face Israeli ground troops in the Shejaiya neighborhood, where IDF suffered 13 killed in one day of fighting, is that the residents were given ample advance notice of the IDF’s intent to enter the neighborhood.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz took pride in the fact that the IDF takes such care to notify residents of its attack plans. “We cannot agree for Hamas to place civilians in our path,” he said earlier thisweek. “So what we have done is to warn the civilians over and over again to evacuate. There are no armies like this, which drop leaflets, call on the phone, bomb next to the target or carry out a ‘knocks on the roof,’ and even disperse the residents with smoke.” {blogger’s note: and it is precisely what the COS crows about which also endangers the soldiers, as the enemy has ADVANCE notice of an impending attack!}

NOW, while most who support Israel seek to defer criticism of the leadership to a later date – at least until after the war is over – this American-Israeli stridently begs to differ. In fact, abject silence has allowed for the facts on the ground to continue to mushroom into a GRAVE threat, even as Israel’s foes plot their genocidal plans, secure in the knowledge that Israel’s derelict leaders will protect the enemy population, and to the detriment of IDF soldiers. Yes, when warnings are given to enemy civilians of an impending attack, the element of surprise attacks are lost…gone…poof! Therefore, where’s the upside to the silence, as Israel’s leaders can’t even stop themselves from spilling their war plans?

Hide nor hare.

AFTER each and every defensive operation, Israel’s counter intuitive leaders exhort: mission accomplished! Oh really?

Massive Terrorist Invasion of Israel Thwarted by Security Forces

Thousands of Hamas-linked terrorists planned to invade Israel on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which begins on September 24, according to an Israel security source.

First reported by Ma’ariv, then in English by i24news, “thousands of terrorists were meant to cross over to Israel from Gaza through the tunnels and kill and kidnap as many Israelis as they could. The source added that the army learned about the huge planned attack during the interrogations of Hamas prisoners, captured during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.”

Reports state that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet about the foiled plot during a Thursday cabinet meeting. The leader of the Jewish State reportedly expressed to officials that if this attack was not stopped, the number of Israeli fatalities may have been higher than the over 2,200 deaths Israel suffered during 1973 Yom Kippur War.

During Israel’s recent incursion into Gaza, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have set their sights on destroying Hamas’ sophisticated tunnel system. In the past, the U.S.-designated terror group has successfully infiltrated the Jewish State, resulting in the killing and kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. The last occurrence was on July 19 when two IDF soldiers lost their lives and the assailants were able to escape back to Gaza through a tunnel. Gen. James T. Conway, USMC (ret.) recently returned from Israel, where he was joined by a dozen retired U.S. generals and admirals, sponsored by Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA). While there, the group toured a tunnel from Gaza recently discovered near an Israeli kindergarten.

“Unlike tunnels that I had seen during the Iraq war that were designed for smuggling, this Hamas tunnel was designed for launching murder and kidnapping raids. The 3-mile-long tunnel was reinforced with concrete, lined with telephone wires, and included cabins unnecessary for infiltration operations but useful for holding hostages,” the retired General wrote in the Wall Street Journal.

Israel has reportedly destroyed over 30 tunnels during “Operation Protective Edge.” The Jewish State contends that Hamas, which governs Gaza, devotes resources to building tunnels to commit acts of terrorism, instead of building homes, parks, schools and hospitals.

An article published by the Gatestone Institute quotes an Israeli spokesman’s observation that “there are two Gazas, one above ground and one below ground: an underground terrorist city.”

LEST anyone believes that the tunnel threats evolved out of thin air, and that they didn’t have a clue about the gargantuan strategic dangers, think again. As a matter of record, the leadership knew about the threat – and in great detail, through a highly commissioned report from a national security expert – back in 2004, but played deaf, dumb and blind! Unconscionable.
He is responsible for the discovery of the Dalit and Tamar natural-gas reservoirs. The Tamar field, which ended up containing an estimated 282 billion cubic meters of the resource, is already hooked up to Israeli gas lines.Just as his evidence for the Mediterranean gas reservoirs was not initially taken seriously, Langotsky said he regrets that the defense system did not listen to his warnings about the tunnel system that has been expanding continually across the Gazan border.“I’ve been warning them [the defense establishment] that the kidnapping, God forbid, of a few soldiers or a few civilians and their transfer as hostages to enemy territory – either along the border with Gaza or Lebanon – is a highly possible mode of action,” said Dr.Joseph Langotsky. He has been trying to convince defense officials of the importance of pinpointing and destroying the tunnels that exist in Gaza and along the Lebanese border for nearly a decade.“For 10 years I’ve been crying and screaming to the highest possible levels – to the Defense Ministry, the chief of staff, the commanding officers of southern and northern command – that although the tunnels are a low-tech option, they might be a strategic threat to our security,” Langotsky told the Post.Langotsky said he continually “bombarded” defense officials with warnings, but little effort was made to correct this strategic liability for many years. He also criticized the officials for failing to involve the Geophysical Institute of Israel in researching the tunnels problem.
WHILE all the above is transpiring, endangering soldiers and citizens alike, as always, the political leadership does nothing to protect Zion. Adding insult to grave injury, while the IDF risks life and limb to protect the JEWISH homeland, the leaders utterly fail, once again, to do their due diligence.

What transpired last night should shock and shake every single Jew to his very being.

1. Arabs rioted on the Temple Mount, which is not a new occurrence.

2. Arab mobs broke into a police station attached to the Temple Mount and looted and destroyed everything inside and stole police equipment.

3. Arabs raised the Flag of the PLO Terror organization (Palestinian Flag) atop of structures on the Temple Mount.

One could argue that last night Israel once and for all relinquished any semblance of Israeli-Jewish sovereignty left on the Temple Mount. This Tisha Ba’Av will certainly take on renewed meaning.

BOTTOM LINE: as evidenced, past is prologue and Zionists are doubly screwed; by their leaders and their Arab foes!

Even the morning after the riot the Palestinian Flag flies over the Temple Mount

Arab Victory – Arabs Raise Flag over the Temple Mount

Israeli Police Station burned and destroyed

Everything in ruins

Destruction of the Temple Mount police station

Destruction of the Temple Mount police station

Booty of war

Police Equipment Looted and will be used for terror

Police Equipment Looted and will be used for terror on our Beit HaMikdash

Police Equipment Looted and will be used for terror

Arabs burn looted objects from the Police Station

YES, as with the IDF/IAF, politically hamstrung police only know how to control Jews, while the enemy runs free to steal the Jewish patrimony! Is it any wonder that silence is NOT an option, even during wartime?

VOTE RIGHT, GET LEFT: ISRAEL’S DANGEROUSLY DYSFUNCTIONAL POLITICAL SYSTEM STRIKES AGAIN. Additional Leftist Treachery In Store Via A Newly Appointed COMMISSAR, Shai Nitzan!…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

The following op-ed at American Thinker (by this blogger) was not only well received, but linked to other sites, including The Jewish Press – The Paradox of Israeli Politics: Vote Right, Get Left by Adina Kutnicki. In addition, an interview was conducted by Inquisitr.com regarding this very same subject matter: The Reality of Life For An Israeli Patriot. All of it, headache inducing… head spinning…mind boggling.

Both were written for American (western) and Israeli audiences (translated into Hebrew too) due to the fact that so many have expressed profound bewilderment/befuddlement at Israel’s incomprehensible – dare one say, schizophrenic – decision making process.

In this regard, there is a “coalition of the willing” who refuse to be cowed by the “powers that be” – including this American-Israeli – taking them to task in very public forums, come what may.

Israel’s pre-eminent strategic policy analyst, Dr. Martin Sherman, spelled out the resultant strategic disasters from said dysfunction, in too many prominent venues to count. But a recent analysis is a stand alone, Confronting Israel’s Precarious Future: An Interview With Dr. Martin Sherman.

The failure of Israel to defend its image—never mind, advance—its image abroad has given its detractors virtually free hand in attacking it and in undermining its international legitimacy. This has the inevitable result of allowing the animosity towards Israel to grow unchecked, leaving its supporters abandoned without adequate arguments to defend it – or themselves – against the unfounded defamation and slander.

This diplomatic debacle is in fact a grave dereliction of duty by the Jewish state and its official organs. For it has not only made it far more difficult to publicly support, defend and identify with Israel and Zionism. It has made it considerably more dangerous.

Indeed, Israel’s anemic efforts to explain its policies and the constraints and imperatives that mold it –reflected, among other things, by the miserly budgets it allots its public diplomacy–are putting Jewish communities across the world increasingly at risk. For through their association with Israel, they have become surrogate targets for the anger the distorted portrayal of the country has aroused among numerous sectors across the globe.

This situation was rather caustically, but aptly, diagnosed by the very eloquent British columnist Melanie Philips, a staunch supporter of Israel, who in a brilliant but scathing interview on Israeli TV, scolded: “Israel has made itself defenseless…Israel has vacated the battlefield of ideas…”

In tandem, do pay keen attention to Dr. Martin Sherman’s latest tv interview at i24newsregarding the counter intuitive, obsessive compulsive “peace process”. A “road map” to Israel’s dismemberment…“peace by peace”“piece by piece”. What kind of dysfunctional leaders continue down such a path? Israel’s.

Moreover, without a doubt, Professor Steven Plaut holds the leadership’s feet to the fire too. Evidence abounds to his broadsides. I’m An Israeli Soldier coupled with Schadenfreude & Israel’s Left are simply two illustrations of his clear thinking.

Netanyahu Appoints a Bolshevik Commissar
Professor Steven Plaut

Whenever the Likud has been in power, the first priority on its agenda has been to implement the policies of the Labor Party and those to the left of it.  This is why Bibi “two states solution” Netanyahu appointed more leftist judicial activist judges than his Labor party predecessors did.  This is why Netanyahu refuses to end agricultural bolshevism or break up the cartels and monopolies that operate in Israel, ironically including those for milk and for honey.  This is why freedom of speech for non-leftists has been curtailed under Likud administrations.  This is why Netanyahu scuttled laws that required disclosure of funding for leftist anti-Israel NGOs operating in Israel, along with other laws to defend Israeli democracy.  This is why Netanyahu did nothing to end the governmental funding for tenured treason.  Under Netanyahu governments, Israeli state prizes general go to anti-Israel leftists.  Leftist institutions are coddled and often funded with state money.  Netanyahu thinks that such decisions make him popular among the Left and its captive media venues, and make him appear a supra-partisan statesman.

One of the most aggressive enemies of freedom of speech and democracy under the Netanyahu governments has been Shai Nitzan.  He served as the special button man for the Attorney General’s office in Israel to harass and persecute the “Right.”  While Nitzan repeatedly attempted to prosecute “Rightists” for daring to exercise freedom of speech, including Rabbis who expressed opinions not to the liking of the Left, I personally think his very worst assault on democracy took place in the “Bukay Affair,” which is described here:  http://frontpagemag.com/2009/steven-plaut/the-bukay-affair-by-steven-plaut/ .  I issued my own calls for the dismissal of Nitzan as early as 2009 (seehttp://www.isracampus.org.il/third%20level%20pages/Israeli%20extremism%20-%20thought%20control%20in%20israel.htm ). While interrogating Soviet-style a nationalist professor (not me) for things he said in the classroom and prosecuting teenage children for attending rightist demonstrations, Nitzan refused to prosecute leftists and Arabs calling for murder and violence (see http://zioncon.blogspot.co.il/2011/07/open-calls-for-bloodshed-and-violence.html ).

Nitzan is so openly leftist that he ruled that leftist portraits showing Netanyahu in SS uniform are protected speech while anything that implies disagreement with the theology of Yitzhak Rabin or anything that “insults” any leftist public official (like a Supreme Court judge or Shimon Peres) is “incitement” and a crime that must be prosecuted.

This morning the Netanyahu government announced that Nitzan is to be the next State’s Attorney, in essence the Israeli Chief Prosecutor.

The only conceivable reason for this seems to be that Uri Avnery or Tamar Goszansky (from the Israeli communist party) were not available to serve.

As to the abundance of evidence proving the bonafides of the latest COMMISSAR, Shai Nitzan, Israel’s State’s Attorney, its Chief Prosecutor, “Nitzan is widely perceived as an avowed ideological enemy of the Jewish settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria, a perception that engendered much criticism of the possible appointment in the months leading up to the announcement.”

As to how “voting right ALWAYS gets left”, thus, rendering pernicious leftist outcomes, bear this uppermost in mind: ALL occurred under a supposed “right wing” leadership! Below are three indictments – out of enumerable – which serve as devastating exhibits:

ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION ORDERS AGAINST JEWISH NATIONALISTS  – ADINA KUTNICKI – Freeman Center For Strategic Studies is a case study whereby right wing leaders pursue Jewish nationalists with equal impunity, as do their leftist counterparts. Same modus operandi.

Once they set their sights on a Jewish nationalist target, the Israel Security Agency utilizes a variety of methods. It may move the process forward quickly by citing ‘information’ which requires immediate detention or expulsion. Gleaned mostly through unsubstantiated intel in the first place, (which is often fabricated) the cases rarely lead to formal indictments, with many charges quietly dropped. Sometimes, they dangle incentives before those identified as more likely to succumb to pressure. For instance, they may offer to pay for everyday necessities to ease a family’s financial burdens. Lately the security services have employed a new tool of harassment–arresting those who come home after midnight!….

Justice in the Holy Land?

Is It Ideologically Driven?  Honenu (Legal Aid to Israeli soldiers & citizens in distress) can attest that it is

Adina Kutnicki – demonstrates that there are two parallel legal criteria set up in Israel; one used to judge Jewish nationalists, the other used to adjudicate against leftists and their Arab counterparts.

Could it be true, are there really two parallel sets of justice/rules of law, one applied to leftists and their Arab counterparts, the other to right wing nationalists and their ‘settler’ brethren? These questions require urgent answers, particularly in light of several recent high profile, disturbing events taking place in Eretz Yisrael…..

The outrageous, humiliating spectacles of Rabbi Dov Lior and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef hauled into police stations, for the ‘crime’ of endorsing (issuing a haskama) a leading Jewish legal treatise, Torat HaMelech, The King’s Torah, raises the specter of the arrival of a new level of selective prosecution against the nationalist sector. The threatened charge: Incitement. A troubling thought indeed……

On the other hand, unlike Rabbis and Jewish nationalists, leftists do not suffer the same personal and public humiliations nor are they arrested for their comments which actually incite to Jewish murder!….

Consider the following, albeit a tiny sampling of their high profile utterances: Professor Yehudah “Judd” Ne’eman, Professor Emeritus at Tel Aviv University Faculty of the Arts, an Israel Prize Winner (usually reserved for those on the far left), publicly called for a civil war. Unlike the above Rabbis who simply interpreted Jewish law, Professor Ne’eman urged his fellow leftists to execute a “war between the political left and the Jews of Judea and Samaria”, AKA the “settlers”. Even though recordings of Ne’eman’s statements were obtained and publicized by Israel’s TV Channel 1, incredulously, he was never called in for investigation by the State Prosecutor’s office.

His call follows a recent statement by former Technion physics professor Oded Regev that he would be willing to volunteer in a civil war against the radical right. Oded lobbed this verbal grenade,”I believe that there is only one way to overcome the religious extremists and that is through organized violence, through launching warfare in the full meaning of the term. Anyone who does not surrender in that war will be incarcerated. Those Rabbis and their friends continue in the tradition of Goebbels”.

Not to be outdone in his leftist vitriol, Professor Eyal Nir, of Ben Gurion University’s Chemistry department, (following in the infamous footsteps of Neve Gordon, BGU’s poster boy for worldwide anti-Israel rhetoric) likewise incited against the nationalist sector, calling “on the world to come and help break these scoundrels’ necks.” His “ scoundrels” were young Jews who marched with Israeli flags on Jerusalem Day through areas lightly populated by Jews in our united capital…..

And, The Hunt Continues:The Hunt Against Jewish Nationalists Continues – Adina Kutnicki – exhibits the brazen, often illegal tactics used to pressure Jewish nationalists into giving up their quest to live within the Jewish heartland, Judea and Samaria aka the West Bank. Simple as that.

Under extreme pressure from the left wing media, Israeli police continue to arrest Jewish nationalists with little or no evidence. Even though most charges are eventually dropped, the detainees face difficult conditions in prison cells and interrogation rooms…

WITH the above firmly planted in mind, the seemingly inexplicable dichotomies and paradoxes have hopefully become clearer. YET, this recent explosive interview with Professor Paul EidelbergOrganized Treachery vs. Organized Hypocrisy: A 35-Year Study of Israel’s Dysfunctional Government strips bare the treachery and the hypocrisy of Israel’s dysfunctional government!

Despite the fact that the Likud Party won more than 70 percent of the votes in February 2003, when it campaigned against the Labor Party’s policy of unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, Likud Prime Minister Ariel Sharon adopted Labor’s policy and thus effectively nullified that 2003 election! Moreover, in October of the following year, the Knesset “legitimated” Sharon’s coup by enacting the “Gaza Evacuation Law,” thanks to the votes of 23 Likud MKs who thus betrayed their February 2003 election pledges to the nation…

Sharon’s nullification of the 2003 election was actually political coup d’etat. Add the spiritual coup that Prime Minister Netanyahu pulled four months after the March 2009 election. In June of that year, Netanyahu, without Knesset or public debate (and contrary to his own Likud Party’s constitution), endorsed the creation of an Arab Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria, the cradle of Jewish civilization! So much for Proportional Representation, exalted as one of the blessings of democracy…

The fact that almost every democracy on the planet manages to conduct its public business by means of multi-geographic- constituency elections should dispel the fiction that Israel cannot function well or justly without its existing system. The truth is that 65 years of this “system” has engendered the shoddiest politics. In the 1999 elections, 29 Knesset Members hopped over to rival parties in order to obtain safe seats! Israel’s political “system” is a disgrace as well as a disaster, and only the ignorant along with self-serving politicians want to preserve it!”…..

Israel has not only flawed politicians but also flawed political institutions—and this includes Israel’s Supreme Court which has usurped legislative and executive powers of government by its pernicious and unparalleled dictum that “everything is negotiable.” This dictum gives the Court the power to negate the cherished values of the Jewish people–and it has done so! The lack in Israel of a Constitution that defines the Legislative as well as the Executive powers of the Government renders the range of these powers extremely vague—so much so that the PEOPLE have no idea of what is permissible or impermissible. Even law professors find it difficult to distinguish a basic law from ordinary legislation. But here’s the coup de grace. In 1992, a coup d’état occurred in Israel without the public having the vaguest idea of what was in store for the Jewish state. In that year the Knesset enacted Basic Law: Human Freedom and Dignity. This so-called basic law was enacted by the absurd vote of 32-21, i.e., with less than half of the Knesset’s membership voting! This was an act of judicial despotism for which Israel may thank the Court’s President Aharon Barak— famous or infamous for his dictum “everything is justiciable.”…….

Does anyone still wonder how/why Shai Nitzan is merely the latest (in a VERY long line) socialist COMMISSAR to be elected by a pithy “right wing” leadership?

The Ever Elusive Quest: Chasing Palestinian-Israeli “Peace” Illusions/Delusions…What Can Israeli Zionists Do To Stop It…DEAD In Its Tracks? Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

For the umpteenth time the world is transfixed by the “peace process.” One needn’t even identify the referenced nations, for their identities are (purposefully) seared within the world’s consciousness. It is as if there are no other warring parties in the world. And via a mesmerizing illusion – simply dependent upon mixing this and that potion – this time “peace” will be in the offing between PA Arabs and Israel.

The so called “smarties” behave, and religiously believe, as if by their sheer force of momentum “peace” will break through, but only if they just push Israel a little harder! Thus, if they exert enough pressure points upon Israel’s leadership (read, twist enough arms…paradoxically not a hard feat at all) somehow – this go around – they will be able to conjure up an agreeable formula, one in which the elusive “peace” wand will magically appear. As such, poof, its ingredients will usher in the ever elusive pipe dream. Alas – and herein lies the caveat – this wondrous breakthrough will only come to pass if enough Israeli concessions, gestures and giveaways are sacrificed upon the (‘peace’) table, and Israel’s “true believers”, leftists, are more than willing to ante up. Please. Been there. Done that. Israel’s graves are full to the brim with said “sacrifices.”  Its hospital rehabilitation wards too.

Now, it is one thing for the world’s busybodies to engage in the “business of peace”, however, very few pundits talk about the insanity of Israel’s leaders participating in this dangerous and deadly charade. Yes, Israel is not an island onto itself. And, indeed, its leaders are under enormous international pressure (mostly from Washington) to give “peace a chance.”  However, one would think – and rightfully so – that being burnt, almost to a crisp (with thousands of Jewish graves, and many more maimed for life due to the “process”, thereby, proving its insanity) would disabuse them of participating any longer in this hideous march of madness. IF only.

So, the million dollar question becomes: Why do Israel’s leaders continually place their citizens in jeopardy, even as their so called “peace partners” continually exhort for their nation’s destruction, concomitantly, preparing generations of children for murderous jihad?

According to pre-eminent political scientist Professor Paul Eidelberg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Eidelberg, an American-Israeli PhD from the University of Chicago) “It needs to be understood and emphasized that anyone, regardless of his subjective ideas or feelings, who supports the creation of an Arab-Islamic state in Judea and Samaria is OBJECTIVELY advocating Israel’s destruction. This applies even to an Israeli Prime Minister!

In support of this provocative statement, I offer certain demonstrable facts which indicate there is not a stitch of evidence that contradicts the Palestinian Authority’s commitment to destroy Israel.

This commitment, which is rooted in Islamic theology, is proclaimed in the PLO-Palestinian Charter. Any honest or decent human can read in that Charter their murderous hatred of Jews and Israel. This hatred permeates Palestinian propaganda. It is manifested in the education and military training of Arab children. This ghoulish hatred promises a continuation of the 20 years of Oslo terror that has murdered and maimed 15,000 Jewish women, men, and children…….”

Moreover, many of the heretofore inexplicable answers can be found within a recent interview given by this writer at Inquisitr.com. But in the main, the root of Israel’s folly can be found in the incestuous relationship between its political leaders and its civil society elites. According to Dr. Martin Sherman, Founder of Israel Institute For Strategic Studies “Through their un-elected positions of influence and authority, civil society elites shape the political discourse and hence the perceived constraints on decision-makers…a trinity of interacting civil society elites, comprising groups and individuals who dominate the legal establishment, the mainstream media and much of the nation’s academia – particularly, but not exclusively, in the social sciences and humanities, including law.

These elites, through their unelected positions of influence and authority that their professions confer on them, can to a large measure shape the content and the conduct of the political discourse in the country, and hence the constraints that decision makers perceive themselves to be subject to.

This clearly provides them the capacity to have a dominant impact on the formulation of national policy and to impose their overarching worldview on the elected incumbents, no matter what the latter’s political manifesto or electoral pledges to the voters may be…”

Average Israeli citizens (secular and religious Zionists alike) are scratching/banging their heads, hoping to come up with a ‘plan of action’ – to stop the ‘process’ dead in its tracks. A still birth. So, it is only appropriate to offer up to fellow Zionists some ‘marching orders’, not conjured up via this American-Israeli, but by, none other than, her mentor, Professor Louis Rene Beres –

Surrendering Judea and Samaria (“West Bank”) in the context of civil disobedience, Jewish law, and the Middle East Peace Process.…..

Sometimes, tragedy and irony may arrive together. Now that it is reportedly back “on track,” the so-called Middle East Peace Process threatens Israel with additional dismemberment, and eventual disappearance.

Aware of these intolerable prospects, thousands of Israelis who are opposed to any further existential surrenders may soon prepare for an appropriate response to “Palestine.” Whatever its particular shape and expression, this “post-peace” response to a new Arab state, one that would be carved out of Israel’s own still-living body, may take some recognizable form of civil disobedience.

To be sure, the Netanyahu Government, inexplicably confident in Palestinian compliance with pre-state agreements on “demilitarization,” will object strongly to any such tactics. Nonetheless, civil disobedience has a long and distinguished tradition in jurisprudence and democratic theory.  In part, as the following argument will make clear, certain roots of this tradition actually lie in Jewish Law.

From its  beginnings, Jewish law has been viewed as a manifestation of God’s will.  Biblically, the law is referred to as the “word of God,” never of humankind.  God, therefore, is the sole authentic legislator, and righteousness necessarily lies in observance of His law.  Moreover, for ancient Israel as well as for the ancient Greeks, the absence of righteousness is expected to place at risk the lives and fortunes of the entire community……

YET, many legitimate questions still arise as to why a leader, such as PM Netanyahu, who was groomed within the national Zionist camp, would even advocate for a “two-state solution.”  A very incisive analysis was penned by Caroline Glick – Bibi and the true believers. Dr. Martin Sherman’s latest J Post column tops the charts, Resign, just resign! Clearly, these analyses are very depressing, but no less necessary. In fact, Dr. Sherman’s recent interview at Inquistr.com, Confronting Israel’s Precarious Future: An Interview With Dr. Martin Sherman: Part One demonstrates precisely how Israel’s leaders, via the “peace process”, have evinced a grave dereliction of duty, thereby, placing the nation of Israel in a position of mortal peril.

All of the above are must reads, if you truly want to understand how/why Israel’s leadership have brought Israel to the brink of disaster.

Moreover, the answers within some of the questions also lie inside a previous op-ed (written by yours truly) at American Thinker, “The Paradox of Israeli Politics: Vote Right, Get Left.”

Basically, there is a colossal tug of war between Israel’s civil society elites – chiefly hailing from academia, media, legal, cultural and diplomatic circles – and the non-existent electoral responsibility between MK’s (Parlimentarians) and the Zionist public, whose votes actually reflect the will of majority public. In this regard, Israel’s political leadership are held captive to those who have the largest megaphones and pocketbooks. Surely, this does not include the average citizen and their political will, in large part due to Israel’s gravely dysfunctional political system.

To wit, Israel’s President (a figurehead/ceremonial post to begin with, and its office is not endowed with policy making decisions), Shimon Peres, is still trotting around the world (a real feat of magic, being that he is past 90!) and selling “peace dreams.”  He infamously intoned that “sacrifices for peace” – alluding to the dead and maimed – are necessary to reach a historic accord! Hmm.

Well, I am not sure about world onlookers, but those who were “sacrificed” – as well as their surviving family members and friends – would beg to differ.

But, then again, President Peres and the perennial “peace chasers” are still open for business! So, they must know better, acutely emblematic within:

State fights for court to uphold prisoner release, despite terror victims’ group petition

08/07/2013
“The state files request in response to recent Almagor petition to block mid-August prisoner release; argues gov’t believes prisoner release gives Israel potential for improving security situation……”

At its bare base, Israel’s leadership truly believes that releasing bloody-handed Jew-killers (though their hearts are aching…blah, blah) will IMPROVE the nation’s security! Can you see with whom we are dealing…on the one hand lies our enemies, on the other stands our Oslo-driven mentally besieged leadership. NOTHING good will come of this – at least for Israel’s (and diaspora’s) Zionists.

G-D, SAVE US FROM OUR FANTASISTS!!
