Israel’s Mentally Besieged Leaders Accept “Cease-Fire”!Refuel,Feed,Supply Enemy Population Too.Why? Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

READING the news coming out of Israel, one can be forgiven for thinking that they landed in an Alice-in-Wonderland, rabbit hole-worthy, topsy-turvy universe. More specifically, readers could rightfully posit: what level of crazy is Israel’s top leadership operating from? And, as an Israeli (American ex pat), this inquiring mind demands to know!

MOST significantly, this site incessantly warned: yes, PM Netanyahu’s spinelessness, his gravitational pull towards “cease-fires” (unable to say NO to the Islamist-in-Chief & others), will be the death of many Zionists as Iran, Al Qaeda et al. take note of the “cease-fire”!

Israel and a Palestinian delegation to talks in Cairo, including Hamas, were due to start observing a 72-hour ceasefire in the Gaza Strip starting Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 8 a.m., to be followed by negotiations under Egyptian aegis for a long-term cessation of hostilities.

This decision flies in the face of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s solemn pledge 48 hours earlier to continue Operation Defensive Edge until Hamas and its terrorist allies stopped firing rockets (a massive barrage was fired up to five minutes to eight).
He stated that Israel was turning away from ceasefire accords, which Hamas had violated six times causing IDF fatalities, and reserving its military and diplomatic freedom of action to act solely in its own security interests. “No accommodation, only deterrence” was the motto of the moment Saturday night, Aug. 2.
Even as he spoke, the bulk of Israel’s ground troops were on their way out of the Gaza Strip. But he assured the public that they were regrouping and refreshing ranks for a new, offensive formation that would stand ready to cross back in a trice if necessary.

But already then, the prime minister had quietly conceded to the demands of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and US Foreign Secretary John Kerry to withdraw IDF contingents from the Gaza Strip. This was in obedience to Hamas’ precondition for talks, following which Israeli envoys would present themselves in Cairo for indirect negotiations on a long-term accommodation with Hamas through Egyptian intermediaries.

The slogan designed for the goal of these talks was now: “Rehabilitation in exchange for demilitarization.”

By Monday, when the ceasefire deal was already in the bag, the prime minister, defense minister Moshe Ya’alon and a group of senior officers led by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz, met the community leaders of the 250,000 Israelis whose homes and lands abut the Gaza Strip. They promised the communities that, for the first time in 13 years, they would be safe from Palestinian rocket fire.
The IDF would build a new security fence enclosing Gaza like the barrier along the Egyptian border and instal a home guard system backed by electronic sensors and other gadgets in all their communities.
Doubters, who wondered how a fence would stop rockets and the underground terror tunnels burrowed surreptitiously under their homes, were not heeded. By then, tens of thousands of reservists called up for the Gaza war were being released and columns of tanks and heavy equipment were heading north.
The military traffic rolling away from the Gaza Strip was so heavy Monday night that the police issued a notice to civilian drivers using those roads.
When the 72-hour ceasefire was announced after midnight Monday, a “high-ranking Israel official” noted that if the ceasefire holds, an Israeli military presence in Gaza will not be necessary. He said Israel had upheld its commitment not to accept ceasefire deal with Hamas, so long as it was accompanied by preconditions and until the terror tunnels were dismantled. The 32nd tunnel was destroyed Monday night, he announced, and the work would continue henceforth on the Israeli side of the border.
A former National Security Adviser Gen (res) Giora Eiland, summed up the month-long Israeli military offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip as a draw between the two adversaries, with neither side the winner. This judgment, shared by many military experts contradicted the way the operation’s outcome is presented by the prime minister and defense minister who directed it. They describe Hamas as reeling from the heavy damage the IDF wrought to its military machine and weakened enough to be finished off at the negotiating table in Cairo.

Israel reckons that around 50 percent of the 1,867 Gazans estimated killed and 9,500 injured in the operation were Hamas or Islamic Jihad fighters.
The damage was undoubtedly heavy, but still Hamas has come out of the Israeli offensive standing on its feet, an outcome that will have profound political and security ramifications upon and beyond the forthcoming Cairo negotiations.
The reality facing Israel’s war planners at home is also grim: For the first time, the country comes out of a major conflict with a domestic refugee problem.  Longtime inhabitants of the region around the Gazan border who have lost homes, property or livelihood have nothing to return to after the ceasefire.
There are no official figures for Israel’s internal refugee problem, but it is believed that up to half of the quarter of a million people inhabiting 57 communities, many of them kibbutzim and private farms, who fled during the hostilities, may refuse to return.

While many endured 13 years of on-and-off rocket fire, they are consumed by the dread of Hamas terrorists jumping out of tunnels in their fields, classrooms or kitchens.
They point to negative side of the IDF official statement: “We have destroyed all the tunnels we know about” as being far from an ironclad guarantee to have obliterated that menace. And the rockets never let up for a single day in the month-long IDF operation – 3,300 in all.

Israel’s first ghost villages are clearly visible to the enemy and no doubt chalked up on the credit side of the Hamas war ledger.

Haim Yelin, head of the Eshkol District Council said Monday that 75 percent of the frontline population has moved north. He said he believes the assurances he received from Netanyahu and Ya’alon that the IDF has solved the tunnel threat and would provide the communities with protection against new tunnels. But he said, people are no longer willing to live under the threat of terrorist rocket fire, which they don’t believe has been finally curbed.
This credibility gap is part of the general unease over the outcome of this long-delayed counter-terror operation. It started out with 86 percent of the population canvassed holding high hopes of curing the festering terrorist woe emanating from the Gaza Strip. But now, Israel’s leaders, no less than Hamas, face a rehabilitation challenge – not just the reconstruction of damaged businesses, farms and buildings, but also of faith in government.

NOT only that, cease-fires with terror orgs are illegal! They are against international law and Israel’s own Basic Laws. Nevertheless, true to form, here he blows again. Mind you, regardless of his blatherings, he is capitulating behind the scenes. Yet, as the master of the high art of rhetoric, a full on orator, he will spin it otherwise. DON’T believe him – or his surrogates – for a nanosecond. This site’s considerably plugged in contacts are in full agreement with the above analysis.

SO, instead of standing tall, upright and proud, even as the blah, blah, reflexively anti-Israel world media gang bangs against the only western outpost within the barbaric, head chopping Mid East;

and as Obama’s minions, UN haters and Euro hypocrites join the fray, exhorting, “stop killing the Gazans”, the fact of the matter is, in reality, Israel’s political leadership has tasked the IDF to bend over – ass backwards – to protect the Gazan population and to hell with Israel’s majority population’s wishes to FINALLY lead Israel to victory! The proofs, attesting to his derelict leadership, are manifest and beyond dispute. Irrefutable.

FROM dropping leaflets in Arabic to warn civilians to get out of harm’s way, at the expense of tipping off enemy terror cells that the IDF is heading in their direction;

NOW, while most who support Israel seek to defer criticism of the leadership to a later date – at least until after the war is over – this American-Israeli stridently begs to differ. In fact, abject silence has allowed for the facts on the ground to continue to mushroom into a GRAVE threat, even as Israel’s foes plot their genocidal plans, secure in the knowledge that Israel’s derelict leaders will protect the enemy population, and to the detriment of IDF soldiers. Yes, when warnings are given to enemy civilians of an impending attack, the element of surprise attacks are lost…gone…poof! Therefore, where’s the upside to the silence, as Israel’s leaders can’t even stop themselves from spilling their war plans?

Ynet’s veteran defense analyst Ron Ben Yishai reported that one of the reasons that Hamas was prepared to face Israeli ground troops in the Shejaiya neighborhood, where IDF suffered 13 killed in one day of fighting, is that the residents were given ample advance notice of the IDF’s intent to enter the neighborhood.

to hamstringing IAF pilots, stopping them from giving ample air cover – if civilians are around – their collective “madness” becomes visible.

Reports in Israeli media cite IAF pilots who bitterly complain that due to the strict limitations placed on their use of fire, they sometimes have to refrain from helping comrades facing terrorist fire on the ground.

TOPPING off the leadership’s mental besiegement, how about the fact that they keep fueling Gaza’s electric requirements (even though Israel unilaterally “disengaged” from the Strip in Aug 2005), still knowing that much of it gets diverted to rocket/missile-making capabilities, not to mention the cement trucks that pour in, which Hamas uses to build terror tunnels! Is this not madness…שִׁגָּעוֺן?

Despite the constant fire into Israel, the Kerem Shalom crossing remains open during Operation Protective Edge and the flow of goods and fuel into the Gaza Strip continues.

The Kerem Shalom crossing continues to operate with high security. The IDF acceded to the request of hundreds of Palestinians who hold foreign citizenship to leave the Gaza Strip. The Erez Crossing in northern Gaza also remains open to Palestinians pedestrians for humanitarian cases.

General Yoav Mordechai, Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories, noted that terrorist organizations daily attack the crossing through which Israel allowed trucks carrying supplies to enter the Gaza Strip.

STILL, the urgent issue for this blogger (and a preponderance of fellow Zionist Israelis) remains: instead of feeding and fueling the enemy population, why aren’t all of Israel’s energies directed towards a single-minded mission: TAKING THIS MONSTER DOWN NOW!

Watch: IDF Transfers Truckloads of Goods Into Gaza

Even as Hamas continues its terrorist actions and fires rockets towards Israel, the IDF continues to transfer goods to Gazans.

On Sunday, the IDF transferred 186 truckloads of food, medical supplies, fuel and other goods into Gaza via the Kerem Shalom border crossing.

Hamas has for years claimed that Israel is imposing a “siege” on Gaza, yet Israel consistently allows humanitarian aid and other materials into the coastal territory.

Israel has approved hundreds of internationally funded and monitored projects in Gaza, and Hamas has “returned the favor” by building dozens of terror tunnels which lead from Gaza into Israeli communities.

As part of the IDF’s commitment to minimizing civilian casualties, it has set up a field hospital capable of advanced medical treatment and which treats Gazans who are hurt during Operation Protective Edge as they are used as human shields by Hamas.

they voted them in,have to pay the price not unlike the Germansnazis they use them as shields why is israel treating them better than their own murderous leaders-use ehrenfeld email …israel’s haters will call her a murderous regime regardless of its merciful acts where self defense is not even afforded to her, so, there isn’t even a payoff on the diplo or court of public opinion level

THIS enraging topic was explored, somewhat, at an interview, in May 2013. Its efficacy is more than resonant, particularly as many are witnessing the unfathomable behavior coming out of Israel’s top political leadership. Mind you, they are proud of themselves! Atta boychiks…

Wolff Bachner: As I mentioned in my introduction, there is a terrible conflict between the majority of Jews who support Israel and a well-funded, highly organized minority of Jews who have worked over time to delegitimize the state of Israel.

Why would Jews turn against the one safe haven on earth for the Jewish people and stand with her enemies who have sworn to wipe Israel off the face of the earth?

Just how serious of a problem is the Post-Zionist movement in Israel and how are they able to get away with behavior that many Jews feel is simply treasonous?

Adina Kutnicki: First and foremost, the Post-Zionist movement in Israel is replete within every sector where civil society elitists permeate. They burrow deeply inside the political and military hierarchies and their tentacles reach within academia, media, legal, cultural and public diplomacy arenas. Many are leftist ideologues, but some are simply well paid whores, handsomely provided for by various foreign-funded NGO’s, all in order to ply their wares. The New Israel Fund (among others) is a major umbrella front for those who seek to delegitimize Israel as the Jewish national homeland. On the other hand, it is estimated that a very small fraction (approximately 3%) of the Jewish majority public veers to the left. Nevertheless, the majority’s wishes are continually marginalized, and herein lies much of the rancor and push back from nationalist Jews, of which I am immeasurably aligned with.

Adding to the morass, the fact that Israel has yet to adopt a Constitution (Professor Paul Eidelberg, a renowned American-Israeli political scientist cited above – a PhD from the University of Chicago – has drafted/shaped many of Israel’s future Constitutional components, and they are held within the Knesset as place markers) muddies the waters. In word and deed, this is a fatal flaw which allows many offenses – which would otherwise be deemed treasonous – to fly under the radar, despite Israel’s Basic Laws.

As to the mental aberration, why Jews (hailing chiefly from the left) side with sworn enemies, well, this is a question which Dr. Kenneth Levin, a Harvard psychiatrist, as well as a PhD historian from Princeton, answered in his masterpiece; a monumental, epoch feat of scholarship “The Oslo Syndrome: Delusions of a People Under Siege.” To make a long story short (and to save myself from a throbbing headache…this subject irks to no end), a chronically besieged people – and the Jewish people qualify like none other – often end up internalizing the hatred and delude themselves about the malevolent intent of their enemies. The visceral, non-quenching hatred is too onerous to bear, therefore, fantasy becomes blurred with reality. Feeling totally out of control, they invent a fairy tale, not unlike chronically abused children. But this is just its tip, the rest must be gleaned through the book itself. It is an eye opener and jaw dropper.

IN light of their demonstrative mental besiegement, the Jewish adage, “he who is compassionate to the cruel will ultimately become cruel to the compassionate”, couldn’t be any more prescient. Pressing.

GUARANTEED, regardless of the leadership’s appeasement, rest assured, the following is emblematic of those they insist on being humane to in Gaza – Islamic barbarians!

TRENCHANTLY, the monsters that Israel’s leaders continue to feed, resupply and refuse to topple in toto – at the behest of the Islamist-in-Chief – can never be satiated. Never.

ESSENTIALLY, the capitulation – via a war of attrition – of Israel is more important to Obama Inc. and assorted henchpeople, than exposing Hamastan in its full ignominy. That’s a fact. But why is this acceptable to the Spineless-leader-in-Chief? Rhetorical.

EGREGIOUSLY, Bibi betrays all the soldiers – as he paradoxically heaps praise upon their service – begging to finish Hamas off, once and for all!

Upon learning that we would be released next week – a month after our emergency call-up to fight this war – my reserve unit drafted a petition expressing our willingness and desire to continue in this war effort and defeat those who have been murdering and terrorizing our nation.

As a soldier in Battalion 969 allow me to share why we drafted this petition and why we want to be here.

We want to continue fighting not because we love war, but because we love you.

UNFORGIVABLY, the leadership pisses on their heads and makes a mockery of their sacrifices; those who lived to tell the tales and those who died in vain (yes, they died for naught), believing that they were going to finish off the enemy, particularly after such a ferocious blitzkrieg on the nation!

MAY G-d have mercy on their souls….

INTRINSICALLY, a recent commentary (in the midst of the latest “operation”) is the only plausible way forward, at least for the majority Zionist population: “Israeli Spring Cleaning” Can’t Come Soon Enough: Bibi Waffling – Once Again!

CONCOMITANTLY, why do Israel’s demented leaders still feel a responsibility to take care of the Gazans, when their own leadership uses them as human shields, and many of them voted in the terror apparatus to begin with?

THIS explosive finding too…..

Captured Hamas Combat Manual Explains Benefits of Human Shields

TO wit, does this make them feel like good “humanitarians”, even as their irrational actions prolong the war against Israel, leaving victory at bay, terrified to “harm the Gazans” and to FINALLY end the madness?

Israel’s Appeasing Leaders Exact Knock-On Effects:Endangering The IDF & Israel’s Citizens Alike! Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

REGARDLESS of anything else, it is imperative to disconnect (in your mind’s eye) the IDF’s heroic fighters from their malignant political leaders. While Israel’s top politicians range from delusional to outright treacherous (relative to the majority Zionist public…a preponderance of the minority Arab public sides with the enemy, even among their elected MK’s), the fact of the matter is that the full extent of their treachery is only beginning to seep through to the majority’s consciousness. A national nightmare…a calamity waiting to happen…read on…

IN this regard, as repeatedly stated at this site and at a major interview on this very subject, Israel’s political echelon hues to the dictates of those who are not even elected to lead, but nonetheless bind the forces from protecting the nation. In effect, far leftists within Israel’s Arab-centric legal realm continuously hog tie the IDF into untenable knots, as media and academic leftists serve as their back benchers and “kosher” fig leafs. But to further understand the crazy-house which passes for Israel’s electoral system – that which underpins said travesties, in perpetual motion to deadly consequences – peer within this blogger’s op-ed at American Thinker – The Paradox of Israeli Politics: Vote Right, Get Left.

AS a result, IDF wars are fought akin to legal battles, as opposed to life and death operations against genocidal foes. And this is where the rubber meets the road, or, more trenchantly, where soldiers are left without proper (air) cover, under the dastardly “holier than thou” political dictate: do NOT harm the Gazan (enemy) civilian population! Never mind that they voted for a genocidal terror leadership, and in a “democratic” process no less. Shades of Hitler’s “democratic” election. Have mercy.

Reports in Israeli media cite IAF pilots who bitterly complain that due to thestrict limitations placed on their use of fire, they sometimes have to refrain from helping comrades facing terrorist fire on the ground.

“Testimony that is reaching us from fighter pilots who provide close air assistance to the combat soldiers who are currently fighting in the field,”Channel 2’s military correspondent Nir Dvori reported, “about growing frustration over the fact that they hear the forces below them on the ground asking for cover and close air support when they see the terrorists drawing near from short range, firing at them, and there is no approval, because of various limitations, so as not to hit innocent civilians, and out of concern not to hit uninvolved people, and for this reason they cannot always give covering fire, cannot always fire, and so the frustration is that to some extent, they are leaving the fighters on their own to fight on the ground…”

Yaron Lerman, a Facebook user who posted video of Dvori’s statement, asked: “Does Israel, as a Jewish and democratic state, have the right to forcibly conscript its citizens and send them to their deaths so as not to hurt enemy civilians? Is that what the state of Israel was established for?”

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz took pride in the fact that the IDF takes such care to notify residents of its attack plans. “We cannot agree for Hamas to place civilians in our path,” he said earlier thisweek. “So what we have done is to warn the civilians over and over again to evacuate. There are no armies like this, which drop leaflets, call on the phone, bomb next to the target or carry out a ‘knocks on the roof,’ and even disperse the residents with smoke.” {blogger’s note: and it is precisely what the COS crows about which also endangers the soldiers, as the enemy has ADVANCE notice of an impending attack!}

Hide nor hare.

AFTER each and every defensive operation, Israel’s counter intuitive leaders exhort: mission accomplished! Oh really?

Massive Terrorist Invasion of Israel Thwarted by Security Forces

Thousands of Hamas-linked terrorists planned to invade Israel on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which begins on September 24, according to an Israel security source.

First reported by Ma’ariv, then in English by i24news, “thousands of terrorists were meant to cross over to Israel from Gaza through the tunnels and kill and kidnap as many Israelis as they could. The source added that the army learned about the huge planned attack during the interrogations of Hamas prisoners, captured during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.”

Reports state that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed his cabinet about the foiled plot during a Thursday cabinet meeting. The leader of the Jewish State reportedly expressed to officials that if this attack was not stopped, the number of Israeli fatalities may have been higher than the over 2,200 deaths Israel suffered during 1973 Yom Kippur War.

During Israel’s recent incursion into Gaza, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have set their sights on destroying Hamas’ sophisticated tunnel system. In the past, the U.S.-designated terror group has successfully infiltrated the Jewish State, resulting in the killing and kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. The last occurrence was on July 19 when two IDF soldiers lost their lives and the assailants were able to escape back to Gaza through a tunnel. Gen. James T. Conway, USMC (ret.) recently returned from Israel, where he was joined by a dozen retired U.S. generals and admirals, sponsored by Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA). While there, the group toured a tunnel from Gaza recently discovered near an Israeli kindergarten.

“Unlike tunnels that I had seen during the Iraq war that were designed for smuggling, this Hamas tunnel was designed for launching murder and kidnapping raids. The 3-mile-long tunnel was reinforced with concrete, lined with telephone wires, and included cabins unnecessary for infiltration operations but useful for holding hostages,” the retired General wrote in the Wall Street Journal.

Israel has reportedly destroyed over 30 tunnels during “Operation Protective Edge.” The Jewish State contends that Hamas, which governs Gaza, devotes resources to building tunnels to commit acts of terrorism, instead of building homes, parks, schools and hospitals.

An article published by the Gatestone Institute quotes an Israeli spokesman’s observation that “there are two Gazas, one above ground and one below ground: an underground terrorist city.”

LEST anyone believes that the tunnel threats evolved out of thin air, and that they didn’t have a clue about the gargantuan strategic dangers, think again. As a matter of record, the leadership knew about the threat – and in great detail, through a highly commissioned report from a national security expert – back in 2004, but played deaf, dumb and blind! Unconscionable.
He is responsible for the discovery of the Dalit and Tamar natural-gas reservoirs. The Tamar field, which ended up containing an estimated 282 billion cubic meters of the resource, is already hooked up to Israeli gas lines.Just as his evidence for the Mediterranean gas reservoirs was not initially taken seriously, Langotsky said he regrets that the defense system did not listen to his warnings about the tunnel system that has been expanding continually across the Gazan border.“I’ve been warning them [the defense establishment] that the kidnapping, God forbid, of a few soldiers or a few civilians and their transfer as hostages to enemy territory – either along the border with Gaza or Lebanon – is a highly possible mode of action,” said Dr.Joseph Langotsky. He has been trying to convince defense officials of the importance of pinpointing and destroying the tunnels that exist in Gaza and along the Lebanese border for nearly a decade.“For 10 years I’ve been crying and screaming to the highest possible levels – to the Defense Ministry, the chief of staff, the commanding officers of southern and northern command – that although the tunnels are a low-tech option, they might be a strategic threat to our security,” Langotsky told the Post.Langotsky said he continually “bombarded” defense officials with warnings, but little effort was made to correct this strategic liability for many years. He also criticized the officials for failing to involve the Geophysical Institute of Israel in researching the tunnels problem.
WHILE all the above is transpiring, endangering soldiers and citizens alike, as always, the political leadership does nothing to protect Zion. Adding insult to grave injury, while the IDF risks life and limb to protect the JEWISH homeland, the leaders utterly fail, once again, to do their due diligence.

What transpired last night should shock and shake every single Jew to his very being.

1. Arabs rioted on the Temple Mount, which is not a new occurrence.

2. Arab mobs broke into a police station attached to the Temple Mount and looted and destroyed everything inside and stole police equipment.

3. Arabs raised the Flag of the PLO Terror organization (Palestinian Flag) atop of structures on the Temple Mount.

One could argue that last night Israel once and for all relinquished any semblance of Israeli-Jewish sovereignty left on the Temple Mount. This Tisha Ba’Av will certainly take on renewed meaning.

BOTTOM LINE: as evidenced, past is prologue and Zionists are doubly screwed; by their leaders and their Arab foes!

Even the morning after the riot the Palestinian Flag flies over the Temple Mount

YES, as with the IDF/IAF, politically hamstrung police only know how to control Jews, while the enemy runs free to steal the Jewish patrimony! Is it any wonder that silence is NOT an option, even during wartime?
