Let us put it all out there from the onset. NO nation – especially one the size of a blown up postage stamp – should dare tolerate a minority population burning down its land ! For if they do, what does it say about its leadership and its silent majority?

I thought so.

In doing so, and by reading the following new report, is there even a scintilla of a doubt that Israel tolerates an irredeemable hostile fifth column whose numbers are hard to quantify, yet too dangerous to ignore?

Without further ado, please read ‘Firefighters, Police Say : Its’s Arson’. Bear in mind, the fires must be rising in intensity and warp speed, otherwise officialdom would be loathe to even intimate – through their non-denials – where the fault lies.

“Arab arson season is in full bloom in Israel: sources in the fire department and the Zevulun precinct police told Arutz Sheva that the fires set Thursday are the result of arson.”

“Several blazes broke out Thursday. One, near Sha’ar HaAmakim, in the southeastern approach to Haifa, was spreading toward Tivon in the afternoon. The residents of three streets were evacuated from their homes: Zevulun, Kakal and Carmel streets. Residents of an old age home were also evacuated. Two homes were reportedly damaged but no one was hurt.”

“Planes from the fire fighting aerial squadron set up after the disastrous 2010 Carmel fire and more than 30 fire fighting teams from Haifa and the vicinity were fighting the blaze. The 2010 Carmel fire killed – or perhaps murdered – 44 people.”

“A large fire blazed in the same region Wednesday, but Thursday’s fire did not break out in the same place.”

“Outside Jerusalem, near Even Sapir, the fire that burned Wednesday reignited and was brought under control after dozens of local residents were evacuated from their homes in the western part of the community.”

“In addition, a fire broke out near an IDF ammunition depot in the Rehovot area, near Tel Nof. No one was hurt. Fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control in a relatively short time.”

“While high temperatures and irresponsibility by campers are always potential causes of fires, it is a well known fact that Arabs intentionally set fires as an easy way of terrorizing Jews and destroying their property. Arab inciters have called on Arabs to do just this, on more than one occasion.”

“When a fire broke out near Jerusalem six weeks ago, Major General Niso Shaham, who was then Commander of the Jerusalem Police, told a Channel 2 reporter that there is currently a plethora of arson attacks in the Jerusalem area. The reporter said that fire fighters told him that there were several incidents of arson every day in the Jerusalem area alone, and Shaham did not deny this. ”

“Arabs have been documented setting fires to fields in Judea and Samaria, where this is a common practice of theirs. ”

Yet…still an omerta hangs in the air.

The pressing, very hot questions are – where does Israel go from here ? And, who will possess the statesmanship to state what is mandatory to proclaim?

When a nation is literally burning – here, there and everywhere – never knowing where the next jihad fire will erupt (irrespective of accidental fires) it behooves the leadership, and the majority targeted population, to stop pussyfooting around the incendiary issue.

ALL together now – too many Arabs are burning the Jewish nation down. Now, once this ‘science’ is settled, the next step becomes easier, thus allowing a policy prescription to emerge.

Was that so hard?

Not to disparage the good intentions of MK Yaakov Katz (a definite patriot), his bill is merely a band aid, barely enough to stop the stench. While mandated jail time is key, a five year minimum is ludicrous. Perhaps it would suffice for a ‘garden variety’ pyromaniac, but it does not address the gravity of nationalistic, Islamic-mandated jihad arson.

Nationalistic arson is one tool in their terror box. Therefore, those who commit jihad arson – and pay little, or no price – will surely up the ante. To where? Does anyone want to wait to find out?

Not me.

While it is also the case that catching said terrorists is indeed a difficult task, there are many who are caught through meticulous investigations. It is not up to non-professionals to tell them how to find the source. They are mandated to do so.

In light of the above, a paradigm shift, flowing through the main power centers in Jerusalem, must urgently evolve.

Without any further hesitation, nor any blubbering apologies, a national discourse – via major press conferences etc – has to commence. The bogeyman must come out of the closet, thus allowing the consequential parameters of said jihad to emerge.

Forthwith, any Arab caught committing jihad arson will remain in jail indefinitely. Not only that, but his entire immediate family (including parents, siblings & their families, spouse & children) will be deported, irrespective of whether they knew of the plans.

NEVER mind the screams from the bleating left (or from the irredeemably hostile international leadership) hysterically opining  – collective punishment .

Balderdash…nonsense… a whole lot of hooey….and, who the hell cares? Not the majority nationalist public, that’s for sure ! I know what I am talking about. I am deeply plugged into their power centers, even if many are publicly too circumspect in their uttering. But underneath it all…make no mistake…there is a simmering rage.

Significantly, if the jihadis are convinced (no wishy washy….case by case decisions) that their entire families will suffer, perhaps it will give them pause.

But most intrinsically, isn’t the physical and mental well being – to feel safe, secure, and not terrorized – paramount in a normal country? And, isn’t the leadership obligated to secure said outcome, otherwise they lose their absolute legitimacy to govern?

It stems from the above, whatever is presently being done to douse the flames (literally, and in the mind’s eye of the jihad arsonist) is not nearly enough. It barely hits the tip.

Therefore, common sense demands that an immediate paradigm shift be adopted. If not, the next Carmel Fire disaster (Dec 2010) will pale in comparison, possibly engulfing the nation in a fire which has no endpoint. The size and lack of depth of the country assures such an outcome.

Is the current top leadership capable of manning up? Absolutely not. But there are several Knesset members who can lead the charge.

MK’s Danon, Eldad, Ben-Ari, Regev come to mind. Will they?

The jury is still out…but let it be publicly stated – those in positions of power (others too) who fail to stand up will be complicit through their silence.

IF history taught us anything, to be silent is to agree.

Besides, dying on their Islamic sword – whether through jihad arson or otherwise – is not part of ‘respecting’ minority rights ! For if anyone is owed anything it is the majority citizenry.

Simple as that.

Since the military chain of command is subordinate to the Commander-in-Chief all manner of (political/ideological) mischief is possible. Few dare to contemplate said ramifications, preferring to believe that a patriot is at the helm, even if miscalculations transpire.

Go back to sleep.

However, many clear thinkers understand that the current Commander-in-Chief is anything, but a patriot. No need to rework this anti-American wheel.

Nevertheless, what is less known are the plans in place to exact an outcome which most lovers of liberty find absolutely untenable. The Washington Times screamed this blaring Editorial ‘The Civil War of 2016’ – effectively informing loyal Americans – wake up, before America becomes your nightmare !

“At issue is an article in the respected Small Wars Journal titled “Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A ‘Vision’ of the Future.” It was written by retired Army Col. Kevin Benson of the Army’s University ofForeign Military and Cultural Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., andJennifer Weber, a Civil War expert at the University of Kansas. It posits an “extremist militia motivated by the goals of the ‘tea party’ movement” seizing control of Darlington, S.C., in 2016, “occupying City Hall, disbanding the city council and placing the mayor under house arrest.” The rebels set up checkpoints on Interstate 95 and Interstate 20 looking for illegal aliens. It’s a cartoonish and needlessly provocative scenario.”

“The article is a choppy patchwork of doctrinal jargon and liberal nightmare. The authors make a quasi-legal case for military action and then apply the Army’s Operating Concept 2016-2028 to the situation. They write bloodlessly that “once it is put into play, Americans will expect the military to execute without pause and as professionally as if it were acting overseas.” They claim that “the Army cannot disappoint the American people, especially in such a moment,” not pausing to consider that using such efficient, deadly force against U.S. citizens would create a monumental political backlash and severely erode government legitimacy.”

“The vision is hard to take seriously. As retired ArmyBrig. Gen. Russell D. Howard, a former professor at West Point, observed earlier in his career, “I am a colonel, colonels write a lot of crazy stuff, but no one listens to colonels, so I don’t see the problem.” Twenty years ago, then-Air Force Lt. Col. Charles J. Dunlap Jr. created a stir with an article in Parameters titled “The Origins of the American Military Coup of 2012.” It carried a disclaimer that the coup scenario was “purely a literary device intended to dramatize my concern over certain contemporary developments affecting the armed forces, and is emphatically not a prediction.”

“The scenario presented in Small Wars Journal isn’t a literary device but an operational lay-down intended to present the rationale and mechanisms for Americans to fight Americans. Col. Benson and Ms. Weber contend, “Army officers are professionally obligated to consider the conduct of operations on U.S. soil.” This is a dark, pessimistic and wrongheaded view of what military leaders should spend their time studying.”

“A professor at the Joint Forces Staff College was relieved of duty in June for uttering the heresy that the United States is at war with Islam. The Obama administration contended the professor had to be relieved because what he was teaching was not U.S. policy. As such, it is more than fair (mind you, this regime is obsessed with ‘fairness’) to posit that poisonous anti-Americanism has seeped into the military echelon and its war journals.

In fact, the firing of a prof (who knows how many more were given a kick in the pants for the ‘crime’ of not bowing to Islam) at the Joint Forces Staff College “relieved of duty in June for uttering that the United States is at war with Islam”, bespeaks their bias in favor of Islam, at the expense of American security !

Is it possible that the band of thieves ruling Washington want  to intentionally instigate a civil war, to make it easier to extend Marshall Law ? Of course, if the Chief Instigator believes he will hold the reins of power for another 4 years, his actions are readily transparent – even though he, and his entire administration, is shrouded in deceit.

A real role model.

Perversely, no more than a decade has passed since Islamic barbarians crashed through American skyscrapers, yet American leaders are rolling out the green carpet for their twisted tenets, bowing their posteriors before Islam. Their scraping puts an American twist to the precise meaning of Islam – submission . You can’t make this crap up. 

Have they no honor? No pride? No sense of American ethos?

Besides, is this any way to lead the (heretofore) free world, other than into the hellish depths of (Islamic) darkness ?

Significantly, is there any viable reason why patriots in the military should feel protected, not only by their military command, but by their Commander-in-Chief ?

Give me one solid reason.

I’m waiting.

More importantly, US troops will be forced to turn against fellow patriots.

IF the hairs on the back of your neck (come on folks, we all have at least a few, even those of us who consider ourselves delicate flowers), or your internal antennas aren’t registering after reading my blog posts, then perhaps this will seal the deal.

So, the very same Radical-in-Chief who spat in the faces of the traumatized residents of New York City (my hometown…you can take the woman out of New York, but her NY accent will always follow her… as will the haunted visions of people jumping from incinerated buildings !), after having suffered through the worst terror attack since Pearl Harbor, is at it again.

After attempting to try Islamic mass murderers in NYC criminal trials (what kind of heartless bastard does that…thank heavens he failed), the same Islamist-bent, leftist-leaning POTUS is up to his old tricks, as he works towards ramming through another attack on law abiding citizens. Ostensibly, to protect the public.

He is merciless. Relentless too.

“The notice states the Obama administration is appealing the preliminary injunction as well as an order from the judge that the injunction bars the enforcement of the provision against anyone. Further, the Obama administration is upset that the judge denied its motion for reconsideration.”

“At the same time, Obama administration officials have filed a memorandum with the U.S. District Court where Judge Katherine B. Forrest issued the injunction because of the possible injury to citizens, including the loss of their rights.”

“Her ruling came after Justice Department officials refused to affirm that the journalists and others who brought the lawsuit would not be subject to detention for their work.”

“According to the US Military, “…it could not share evidence related to Daqduq because it included sensitive intelligence.” Of course, once in Iraqi hands, the Lebanese terrorist would quite possibly not have been prosecuted anyway. But the Obama Administration make CERTAIN of it with its refusal to release evidence of Daqduq’s guilt to the Iraqi court.”

“Whatever the reason, 2 United States presidents have betrayed the families of 5 U.S. Marines by refusing to prosecute the terrorist responsible for their deaths.”

NO evidence of guilt need be presented, and the accused has no right to an attorney or defense. The suspicions of the president alone are sufficient to hold an American in custody until “the end of hostilities.”  Yet a known Muslim terrorist and killer will avoid all responsibility for his crimes.”

“Will Mitt Romney and congressional Republicans make an issue of this disgraceful and cowardly behavior on the part of the White House? Or must members of the US military learn to accept torture and death as unfortunate, occasional consequences of the political necessities of the day?!”

Make no mistake. The previous administration’s hands are not clean in relation to the above. However, under the current regime there was at least a chance to settle scores. Did anyone believe they would?

People who have been immersed in this arena, as well as those who have been paying strict attention – to events which have no otherwise rational/logical basis – know exactly where the Obama gangsters are heading, but the mission is to catch them before they seal America’s fate.

Understand this – IF they cannot burst through the front door, they will break in through the back door. All in due time.

It is their specific fealty to deceptive tactics which ties and binds the Red/Green alliance. 

In the same manner in which Muslims are mandated to utilize deception aka taquiya, so too are revolutionary leftists. Socialists, Marxists, communists….take your pick…different names… same goals. These alliances are instructed to deceive, as long as the ends justify (any) means possible.

Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals taught his disciples well. They are following his tutelage to a tee.

By perverting the so called mandate to ‘protect the public’ from terrorism, the regime is better positioned to execute stealth jihad, aiming for its real targets – Second Amendment, pro-life advocates, with a gun pointed at them. Whether or not they pull the trigger, or lock someone away without due cause, silencing opponents is key. Putin-like, Turkey’s Erdogan too (as in all totalitarian regimes), they stifle those who dare to speak out.

Regardless how many times the (poseur) Commander-in-Chief states that he has the military’s back, inherent facts on the ground attest otherwise. Could it be that he speaks with a forked tongue?

Most assuredly.

On the one hand, he creates much fanfare when he surrounds himself with soldiers, sort of like props used in the theater, but for political posturing. Despicable. On the other hand, when it comes to ‘tachlis’ (aka brass tacks) Barack Hussein Obama is AWOL, scurrying  like the rat that he is.

Consider : ‘Obama Tries To Disenfranchise Troops’ is beyond disgraceful. It is reprehensible. Breitbart.com, always ahead of the curve, had this to report –

Hi All,
I just wanted to pass on a little info in case some of you were not aware of this. Yesterday was the Air force Academy graduation ceremony. My friend from Texas had just arrived and we drove down the road to watch the Thunderbirds air show after the ceremony was finished. Most of you know Pres. Obama spoke at the ceremony and handed out the diploma’s. When this finished it was time for the Thunderbirds to fly. There was one maneuver then they disappeared. A man standing by me called a friend at Peterson Field and found out that the air show was halted because Obama wanted to leave. A helicopter soon appeared and flew around in a circular pattern above where we were – basically doing reconnesance as Obama’s motor-cade was exiting the Air Force Academy. He was going to Denver to do some more campaigning since Colorado is a swing state. After he left the Thunderbirds came back and continued the show for the graduates. Think about this. Obama comes to a graduation, speaks etc. then decides to leave before the Thunderbirds can complete their air show. They had to fly around, & waste fuel. Thousands of people – the graduating cadets, parents, friends, observers in the vicinity parked in lots waiting to see them fly, inconvenienced, so Obama – his “highness’ could leave to go campaign in Denver! How disrespectful of EVERYONE in attendance. It would have taken only about 20-30 minutes more time to stay until the fly-over was finished thereby honoring the graduates, Thunderbirds and the military in general. However, this narcissistic disgrace of a ‘Commander -in-Chief” had to inconvenience everyone and leave interrupting the ceremony fly-over because everything is about him. I was disgusted by this and so was everyone else standing around near us. I hope this info gets passed on so others can learn how disrespectful this Pres. is toward the military. Not too many who witnessed this will be voting for him.”

One measure of a person’s sanity – as well as their rationality – is how much stock they take in their survival (as well as that of their loved ones), even if the odds are not in their favor.

So, what conclusions can be drawn about an otherwise highly intelligent (successful too, for the most part) group of people who have been persecuted more times than most folks want to think about – with nary a time in history when their persecution wasn’t the “norm” – yet their main litmus test for leadership depends upon which candidate supports abortion?

Never mind that abortion is an extraordinarily hot button issue, fraught with more minefields than can possibly be counted in any given war-torn country, and it will remain this way long after most of us are dead and buried.

And despite the fact that the actual “science is clear that human life begins at conception when a new human being is formed; and in Roe v Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decided it could not ‘resolve the difficult question of when life begins’ – and on the basis of the unresolved question, declared a new ‘right to abortion’ based on a ‘right to privacy’ “- nevertheless, within their ‘holier than thou’ sphere, the science is not nearly enough !

Talk about twisting the law – and ones ideological paragons – into prescribed (political) knots !

Yet still, place all the above logic (even the twisted part) to the side, and we are reflexively faced with leftist Jews who worship the “right” to abortion, above and beyond other compelling life and death issues. Inconceivably, many of these abortion-obsessed Jews “earn like Episcopalians, and vote like Puerto Ricans” – no offense to my Hispanic/Spanish friends !

Milton Himmelfarb, a trenchant sociographer of the American Jewish community knew his terrain. He was spot on….and his observations are as apt today, as they were when initially observed decades ago.

Oftentimes popular truisms are right on the mark. As is said, “if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers like a duck…it’s very likely to be a duck”.

All together now… “if Barack Hussein Obama acts like a socialist/communist/Marxist/Islamist sympathizer, surrounds himself with said fellow travelers, implements their constructs and destroys western ones, what else can he be, other than one of them?”.

Henceforth, refer to the above as – “Adina Kutnicki’s truism”.

Truthfully, other than those who are willfully blind, or in clinical comas, there should be little debate as to where Barack Hussein Obama is headed, if he (heaven forbid) secures a second term, irrespective of  whether or not one is in agreement with said plans. In pure practical terms, his concrete actions attest to his end game.

Therefore, the pressing question before lovers of liberty is – what main mechanisms does he intend to utilize to effectuate his oft-promised transformation, reverting to his campaign in 2008 ? Answer this basic question, and the planned deconstruction (though it can never be an exact art/science) falls into place.

Some background is in order.

Firstly, years before he came onto the political scene, radical revolutionaries have been laying the groundwork. They operated both riotously and stealthily, depending on the task at hand. Much of the planning was orchestrated from radical “think tanks” and grassroots, community organizing/agitating nerve centers, many of whom attached themselves (like leeches) to union leadership. They are still sucking (membership’s) blood.

The current radicals, enjoying total control over US nerve centers, have been causing mayhem all over America, manufacturing crisis after crisis for many decades. They went from college-aged, indoctrinated shock troops, to suit and tie “respectable” power players. Therein lies the fault-lines.

Without a scintilla of a doubt, many of yesteryear’s core radicals are entrenched in the most powerful positions imaginable, inside and outside government. Their previous mission (still ongoing) was to insidiously soften up each generation to the “collective” mindset, consequently, indoctrinating them to the “evils of capitalism”.

Is it any wonder that Obama & gangsters publicly pummel capitalism, never mind the fact that they suckle at its breast to keep their grip on power? Is it any wonder that the most infamous domestic terrorist duo – Ayers & Dohrn – became teachers? Similarly, many of their cadre followed suit, teaching revisionist history, complemented by bastardized language (doublespeak) as core components of their “teaching”.

The above piece of the revolutionary puzzle is intrinsic to internalize, simply because it bespeaks where their absolute focus lies – the kiddies. Once one captures the “hearts and minds” of several American generations, anything and everything is possible. They are brainwashed from the moment they enter pre-school, at least in the public school realm. Yes, they are.This is a fact.

In concert, by (mentally) moving generations away from capitalist ethos, it allows revolutionary radicals to slowly destroy one capitalist sector after another. In effect, the government is then positioned to wrest control from private industries. Sound familiar?

Their calculus is, if capitalism is evil, why in the world would the masses rise up? And, if the brainwashing hadn’t taken place (you gotta hand it to them, they are evil geniuses) such blatant power grabs would normally be seen for what they – totalitarianism.

Back to Barack Hussein Obama’s dual targets – the rest of what is left of a free economy, as well as incremental gun control, thus, leading to a total ban on private ownership.

The “Progressive”/Regressive Mask Is Slipping…Fascism Rears To The Fore…Yeah ! Chick Fil A…Commentary By Adina Kutnicki

In light of all the financial woes besetting average Americans, and with Islamists creeping closer to US power centers, one would think that “progressive” mouth pieces would have their plates full. And let us dare not forget their (purposeful) stirring of the racial pot.

Wherever do they find time for all this mischief-making ? Well, apparently it’s their full time mission – sort of their messianic calling. Paradoxically, they detest organized religion, unless it belongs to the throat slitters and head choppers. What a conundrum. So, do we classify them as masochists, sadists or just plain pyromaniacs?

Will get back to you on the diagnosis.

Either way, they have become embroiled in a national chicken controversy, penning themselves into an (intolerant) corner like the chicken-sh-ts they are.

Have we landed in Orwell’s universe, whereby ‘eating here or there’ has become a “progressive/liberal/tolerant” rallying cry? Yup.

Their new litmus test – for “tolerance”, of course – is none other than Chick-fil-A. If the “progressive” degenerates were not deadly serious in their quest, the notion of attacking a chicken business would be laughable. After all, is the restaurant chain guilty of a capital crime, in light of massive calls – from their shock troops – to boycott the chain? In a pig’s eye.

But, they are “guilty” of a cardinal sin, at least in the recesses of the dark souls of “progressive” fascists. Basically, the chain’s owners refuse to cow tow to their radical edicts – accept the re-definition of  “marriage”, or we will destroy your business. This brings the Orwellian defined usage of ‘tolerance’ to a level unseen previously, and straight into the stratosphere.

Say what? Are the purveyors of “tolerance” behaving like totalitarian dictators, forcing a family business to toe their radical line? Looks like it. Well, most conservative types don’t like being threatened, particularly in middle America. You know, the “bitter clinger” sort of folks.

On the other hand, there are some squeamish conservatives who hate to stand up and fight. They would rather most unpleasantness blow right over their heads, thereby, standing down in the process.

Uh  uh…no way. Not nice at all. They would do well to get with the conservative program, and stop being chicken – no pun intended!

In ‘We Should Have Kept Our Heads Down Rather Than Support Chick-fil-A’ some self described conservatives have brought cowardice to a new level, tarring the rest of us in the process. Read for yourselves –

Few things are harder to explore than delving into a national (or personal) trauma. A mass shooting surely qualifies.

Its emotionally charged ramifications, plus digging through the media muck, causes even the heartiest to think twice before diving in. Regardless, this tragedy has an all too familiar stench, similar to the one wafting through the public atmosphere after the horrific Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, as well as other unsubstantiated nationally reported narratives.

To further shore up the mystery, here is another video which adds to the appearance of the media’s deception. It requires urgent answers from folks with no more than average intelligence, and a modicum of moxy. However, conspiracy theorists should stay away from this rational discourse.

Nevertheless, the onus absolutely still lies on those hailing from official quarters, shilling the ‘crazy gunman’ narrative. In tandem, the compliant media is mandated to do their due diligence, at the very least, they must stay the hell out of the way.

Mocking won’t be tolerated.

Moreover, they shouldn’t  expect, nor dare they demand, free-thinkers to shut up. Unless of course, they are ready to admit that America is no longer the land of the free…the home of the brave.

I am neither a pessimist nor an optimist. I am more of a realist.

Realistically speaking Islamists are making huge strides, but all is hardly lost. Much of the outcome depends upon the (final) capitulation of the United States, and herein lies the calculus.

On the one hand – and for a multiplicity of reasons – it is apparent that most of America’s power players are lining up behind Islamists and their assorted tentacles.

On the other side of the spectrum, one finds a smattering of highly vocal, articulate, stalwart defenders of American ethos, working assiduously to beat back America’s deserters. They can be found within Washington’s corridors, as well as outside its incestuous confines.

Therefore, the sliding scale is precipitous, but at the same time (still) hopeful. This is not a matter of cognitive dissonance, but a reflection of reality. As such, a stalemate of sorts has evolved, but like everything else, there will be a winner and a loser. Eventually.

Thus, warranting special notice is the following, particularly since it emanates from one of the few reliable media outlets

Commentary Magazine is both a print and online publication. In my humble estimation it stands head and shoulders above most of its peers. Basically, it is a thinking person’s ‘go to’ address – sans the ego tripping – for politico/social commentary, be it American, Israeli or other global hot spots.

In this regard, I read with much interest and alarm ‘The Great Islamist Comeback’. Bear this in mind – Commentary’s writers are short on hyperbole, and long on facts on the ground. No wishy washy, finger-in-the wind pontificating. They call it like they see it.

So, according to Abe Greenwald –

“On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta met with the new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi in Cairo and declared, “It’s clear that Egypt, following the revolution, is committed to putting into place a democratic government.” If so, neither “democratic” nor “clear” mean what they once did.  Since taking power Morsi has ignored the violation of women’s and Christians’ rights, and his Muslim Brotherhood comrades have been drafting a constitution meant to elevate Islamists above all other Egyptians.”

“Critics of the Iraq War liked to say that ballots don’t equal democracy. Today a Muslim Brotherhood leader speaks the word “democracy” and its existence is taken as self-evident. The incredulity of the Bush years and the hypno-suggestibility of the moment are manifestations of the same popular wish: to extricate America from ideological battles in foreign lands.”

“This is an understandable sentiment that long predates our confrontation with political Islam. John Quincy Adams said that the United States should be the “well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all . . . , the champion and vindicator only of her own.” That formulation prefigured the human-rights approach of Barack Obama, who Lawrence Haas describes aptly in his new book, Sound the Trumpet, as “a rhetorical idealist but an operational realist.”

“The paradox has served him poorly.  Obama the rhetorical idealist wished Iranians well (just barely) in the summer of 2009, while Obama the operational realist pursued a diplomatic relationship with Tehran. Basij forces soon crushed protestors in the streets. Tunisia was wished well and today the ruling Islamist party, Ennahda, has filed a bill to criminalize blasphemy. Obama saluted Egyptians before the Muslim Brotherhood took control of their country. And the rhetorical idealist praised Syrian rebels for a year and a half while the operational realist tried to outsource matters to the UN and Moscow. The result? A recent New York Times Headline declares, “As Syrian War Drags On, Jihadists Take Bigger Role.”

“Only in Libya, where our European allies dragged us into action, is there (for now) no Islamist party in charge. The extent to which that’s a function of the prevailing chaos remains to be seen.”

“Most problematic is the bon voyage wished Iraq last December. In 2009, the rhetorical idealist praised Iraq’s democracy and described the American effort there as an “extraordinary achievement.” He was right. Troops in Iraq not only gave their lives fighting for the creation of the sole functioning Arab democracy; they fought al-Qaeda into irrelevance and near total defeat. But the operational realist left no American presence behind to secure our accomplishments. Today, the Henry Jackson Society’s Robin Simcox accurately calls the land of al-Qaeda’s undoing a “new front” in the War on Terror. Since the U.S. left, the al-Qaeda connected group Islamic State of Iraq has launched a bombing campaign so intense that officials are preemptively surrendering by stepping down.”

“In Afghanistan, a more managed reversal is underway. The rhetorical idealist bragged, “we’ve broken the Taliban’s momentum.” But the operational realist sends envoys to treat with them in hopes of a peace deal before the United States leaves the country. When the U.S. exits Afghanistan in 2014, the Taliban will be free to do as they please. This is fortuitous timing for their old friends the Arab jihadists. As Islamist parties take political power in the Middle East, their terrorist branches can resume residence on the staging grounds of 9/11.”

“Let us acknowledge the enormity now unfolding and also pay heed to historical context. This is not merely a regional rise in Islamist power. It is the dawn of a great Islamist comeback. The ten years since 9/11 were spent problematically but successfully dousing the flames of jihad.  The past four have seen an inrush of oxygen.”

“It’s hard to overestimate how emboldened Islamists must feel. In propitious events they see divine endorsement. What are increased drone strikes and the death of Osama bin laden compared to a new historical epoch? A recent State Department report touts a “12% decline in [terrorist] attacks from 2010 [to 2011]” and claims the killing of bin Laden and other terrorists “puts the [Al Qaeda] network on a path of decline that will be difficult to reverse.” The State Department has faith in statistics; Islamists think in terms of history. “Our options for countering the Islamist comeback were limited, yes, but not nonexistent. The U.S. could have robustly supported the Iranian democrats who asked for American help; allied with Arab liberals instead of courting Arab dictators; funneled weapons and money to parties that we’d have come to know; and tied foreign aid and trade to regimes’ human rights policies. If you think such things would have made no difference consider that even with the Muslim Brotherhood’s monopoly on organization Morsi won less than 52% of the runoff vote.”

“Obama could have used our leverage in Iraq to keep the country on course with a relatively small number of American troops stationed there after the war. And he could have made good on his campaign promise to win in Afghanistan. A comeback is accomplished by one side but always facilitated by the other. Greenwald is precisely on target with his main thesis. In essence, to the actual victor goes the spoils. In other words, rhetoric is fine for sparring in a debate, but not for life and death geo-political decisions.

In a clash between civilizations – and this is where we find ourselves – the side which thinks within a long-term historical realm will ultimately prevail. The other side will be left licking its wounds in the dust, if lucky.

Nevertheless, the tipping point should be viewed through the lens of the next POTUS. It is no exaggeration to suggest, if Barack Hussein Obama wins, the oxygen given to Islamists will explode in ways unimaginable.

On the positive side of the equation, if Romney emerges the winner, there will be a pause in their gains, and an opportunity to push back their inroads.

The (western) stakes couldn’t be higher. They are fateful.

Huma Abedin’s Supporters Will Have Nowhere To Hide…Creeping Closer & Closer To (Figuratively) Crucifying Their Position As They ‘Stand By Their (Islamic) Woman’

Not to put a too fine point on it, but many – who should know better – teeter out on insane limbs (professional and personal) for ‘the other’. If one is from the third world, exotic, and otherwise part of an ‘aggrieved’ group, all common sense is rendered mute…two sheets to the wind.

Despite the above, or in veritable spite of it, prominent forces are working feverishly to tip the scales in favor of pure American, western interests, essentially saying, to hell with third world ‘sensibilities and sensitivities’.

The representatives’ letters went to inspectors general at State, Justice, Defense, Homeland Security and the Office of the National Intelligence Director. The shameful fact is, our power-elites don’t want these questions answered because the answers would threaten their hold on power.”

Rather, their question turns on the process that permitted a person with close family ties to an array of world Islamic movements and figures hostile to the United States to gain the security clearance Abedin requires to serve alongside the secretary of state.”

“I looked over the lengthy Form 86 that federal employees fill out to apply for national security positions. One portion is devoted to an applicant’s relatives, with a question about relatives’ affiliations with any “foreign movement.” If Abedin answered fully — and there are stiff penalties for failing to do so — she would have noted, for starters, that her mother, Saleha Abedin, belongs to the Muslim Sisterhood (the Brotherhood’s auxiliary, primarily for relatives of prominent Brothers) and serves on the board of the International Islamic Council for Dawah and Relief, a group banned in Israel for supporting Hamas. Saleha Abedin has been a representative of the Muslim World League, whose affiliates have been charged by the U.S. government with funding terrorism. Any ensuing investigation would turn up Saleha’s work with the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, where she edits the journal that Huma, too, worked on for a dozen years. That same institute was founded by Huma’s father in Saudi Arabia with the assistance and long-term involvement of Abdullah Omar Naseef. Naseef was secretary-general of the Muslim World League and also founded the Rabita Trust, a U.S.-designated international terrorist organization with ties to al-Qaida.”

How many times, and how many ways, does ones enemy have to state their intentions, before they are taken seriously? Apparently, too many times, when butting up against the PA/Israeli (holier than thou) political cesspool.

Examining the recesses of Israeli political discourse is akin to dropping into an Alice-In-Wonderland fantasy world. Magically delicious. Thereafter, one can then be forgiven for thinking they were actually living in Neverland, unceremoniously dropped on their head, never having to deal with reality again – ever. A place where up was down; down was up; wrong was right; right was wrong; evil was good; and good was evil; and everything one believed to be the truth was no longer bound to any factual basis.

Poof…reality…never to be dealt with again.

For if  this wasn’t the case, how does one rationally explain the most recent (out of too many to count) otherworldly report, assuring readers – hither and yon – that Israel’s leaders are working assiduously to shore up the PA (terror) junta’s economy? Thus, informing one and all, especially the naysayers, that economics will turn their jihad-loving ways upside down. Huh and duh?

In ‘Is Israel Helping PA Prepare For War’, one immediately glances at the headline and wonders – has the writer fallen on her head? Far from it. She is thoroughly conscious.

Maayana Miskin reported –  “Israel took steps this week to boost the Palestinian Authority economy by tying it more tightly to Israel’s own economy. Among other things, Israel will help build pipelines to transfer petroleum products to the PA and will use its advanced technology to monitor the flow of goods, helping the PA to enforce its tax laws….Further steps will ease the flow of goods between Israel and PA-controlled regions in Judea and Samaria (Shomron).”
“Both Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad signed on the initiative. “I am certain that the arrangements concluded will help strengthen the economic base of the Palestinian Authority,” Fayyad said.

“Economist Nachum Gutentag said the agreement is unlikely to hurt Israel’s economy, which is much larger than the PA’s. However, he said, it could help the PA prepare for open conflict in the future.”

“Since the failure of the Intifada, Fayyad has taken the approach of, ‘build the economy peacefully, and when the day comes, if we want to detach or to fight we’ll have the infrastructure for it,’” he explained. The agreement is likely to significantly strengthen the PA economy, he noted.”

“Gutentag was surprised that Israeli leaders apparently did not condition the deal on an end to Fayyad’s incitement to boycott Israeli goods. Fayyad has publicly burned Israeli products made in Judea and Samaria, and has called on others to do the same. So, while PA Prime Minister Fayyad looks long-range – even if it takes over a hundred years – our resident fantasists think in sound bites. Not wise at all.

And the following sayings are more than applicable – crazy is as crazy does, and stupid is as stupid does. At the very least, this has to be the case, simply because it has been proven – over and over again – that the PA/Fatah and Hamas terror gangs won’t be appeased by economic/gas/fuel incentives. However, they will use said gains to shore up their jihad !

Still, if one prefers not to believe the above, fine. It’s your funeral. But do believe the actual words and deeds of PA Prime Minister Fayyad. A smooth as silk leader, he is savvy enough (just like Abbas aka Abu Mazen) not to design his wardrobe ala the schmata-head covering/pistol wearing wardrobe of his terror brother, Arafat. After all, a western appearance is enough to tame the “Zionist entity”, as well as the rest of the terrified western leadership.

If people world over are seeking answers, to the heretofore inexplicable, look no further – school’s in session via Dr. Sherman’s tutelage.

Alas, no one needs to bang their noggins any longer, trying to figure out how Maayana Miskin’s doozy piece of news bodes for Israel. People must belatedly place aside the bill of “peace” goods we have been sold (about the fashionably suited PA leadership), finally realizing that the current junta is no different than Arafat’s.

All together now – let’s just put common sense back into our discourse, with the understanding that the current crop of PA/Fatah heads are nothing more than Arafat’s dutiful disciples !

On the other hand, why bother ourselves with minutia, there are “processes” to move along.

And so here we find ourselves – for the umpteenth time – faced with a “never say no to peace”  leadership.

Will they ever learn? Doubtful.
