Unfortunately, there are more than a few women in the public arena who qualify as ‘femi-storm troopers’, posing as part of the ‘sisterhood’. Gloria Allred is a highly visible, abrasive, nasty piece of work, and wants nothing more than face-time before the camera.

As a lawyer, sworn as an ‘officer of the court’, Allred’s penchant for smears and gutter politics is especially egregious, possibly rising to the level of libel. Few dare take her on, simply because her persona is as out-sized as her overblown ego.

Be that as it may, Allred is up to her eyeballs in her next smear, hoping to take credit for Romney’s downfall. Whether or not she achieves her goal remains to be seen, but there is nothing she won’t do to get the job done – manufacturing lies are beside the point. They are her stock-in-trade.
Patriots dare not imagine that Romney’s staff are not keeping a close eye on her. They better.
‘Republicans bracing for ‘October surprise’ as Gloria Allred ‘prepares for Romney revelation’
“Republicans are bracing themselves for Gloria Allred to make a potentially damaging revelation about Mitt Romney, just weeks before the election.
The pro-President Obama lawyer is rumoured to be preparing for her so-called ‘October surprise’ in which she will strike the Republican presidential hopeful’s chances by unearthing some sort of secret or scandal.
Ms Allred has refused to comment on the rumours, which first surfaced in a tweet by the Drudge Report’s Matt Drudge on Thursday.
‘Here she comes. Hearing Gloria Allred out there again, about to make a move. After all, it’s her time of the campaign. Team O at the ready!!’ Mr Drudge wrote on Twitter.
According to RadarOnline.com, Ms Allred launched a last minute strike on GOP Meg Whitman’s campaign for governor of California by representing a disgruntled former housekeeper.
In the pivotal moments of the campaign, the lawyer wheeled out Nicky Diaz who alleged that she was fired by the Whitman family because she was an illegal immigrant.
Whitman went on to lose the election to Democrat Jerry Brown.
Ms Allred refused to confirm or deny the rumours regarding Governor Romne
‘I have no comment at this time about Mr Drudge’s Tweet. I don’t discuss meetings with potential clients,’ she told RadarOnline.com.
But Republicans commentators are running scared, rallying the troops for a pre-emptive attack.
New York Conservative blog, The Red Side of Life, demanded Romney supporters ‘stop her now,’ adding ‘we’re doing too well to risk ‘an Allred.’
‘Gloria Allred Prepares Anti-Mitt Strike You Can STOP Her Now! (action!) Don’t underestimate Gloria Allred’s ability to inflict damage,’ the website reads.
‘The media will ‘eat up’ anything she feeds them and turn it into an endless scandal. Recall she took down Cain and RINO Whitman with NO EVIDENCE. We’re doing too well to risk ‘an Allred.’ She can be stopped, but it will take action on our behalf.’
