IT wasn’t that long ago that knock-knocks from the FBI were met with eager responses. In other words, law-abiding citizens would view it as their patriotic duty to assist the domestic, front-arm of the main 3-letter, alphabet agency. That was then, this is now.
YES, this is the current FBI — run by an absolutely corrupted Director!.
INCONTESTABLY, sans a complete tear-down of the FBI — what has become a most corrupt and criminal entity — well, with a total overhaul from top to bottom, anyone who allows them entry is in need of a psychiatrist!

Last Tuesday, RedState reported on a disturbing video posted to Twitter/X the day before. According to the video, three individuals, two of which identify as being with the FBI, are allegedly on a fishing expedition looking for “information.”

Writing at RedState, Ward Clark observed:
When this citizen opened the door to find these three (two FBI agents and one county Sheriff’s deputy) at his door, he should have replied with two questions:
“Do you have a warrant?”
“Am I being detained?”
Since these three would have had to answer “no” to both of those, the next statement would be, “In that case, please vacate my property immediately, or I will have you charged with trespassing.” That is where this encounter should have ended.
Bingo.
But it didn’t end there. They engaged in a four-minute discussion that sounded like a fishing expedition.
Clark parsed the encounter, observing that the agent doing most of the talking was, “…angling to be invited into the citizen’s home. Without a warrant.”
“[Y]ou’re not in trouble, you haven’t done anything wrong, but you may know somebody that put the hair on the back of your neck up, that you’d be willing to talk to us about, and that’s why we’re here to talk to you,” the agent said.
What?
After the citizen expresses discomfort with the agents at his door for no apparent reason and no warrant, the agent doing the talking makes it clear that if they were there for him, there’s be more than three of them. Indeed. And they probably would be there before sunrise. And no doubt, heavily armed, ready to kill anything that moves. Just like they did with an unarmed disabled veteran suffering from PTSD.

“Finally,” Clark wrote, “at about 1:50, we get to the heart of the matter when the primary agent says, ‘[Y]ou are known, and you are known to have association with sometimes some people in your groups, there’s always one that does something, and then everybody looks at the group and says ‘Hey, we should have been talking with some people that knew this guy, beforehand, so then we could have prevented something.’”
The unnamed resident refuses to speak with with them, and they leave.
Clark adds:
It’s hard to see this as anything but an understated attempt to browbeat or intimidate a citizen into giving up information without his being legally required to do so. This, at a time when the FBI’s reputation is in the toilet; when they are a de facto arm of the Democrat Party, when in this case they attempt to sidestep the Fourth Amendment; this should be a matter of concern for anyone who cares about civil liberties, left or right.
Indeed.
