THERE is little but spitting distance between history’s right-wing fascist leaders and their counterparts on the left. Both are hell-bent on imposing their iron-fisted will, and they brook NO dissent. That is that. Moreover, Islamist leaders feel very much at home within both spheres, in so far as totalitarian ethos is their commonality with each spectrum, irrespective of religious (or the lack thereof) gaps.
NOW, as is said, this is where the rubber meets the road, when it comes to Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel. Ominously, many are clueless about her anti-western background. However, thankfully, cracks are opening up. How so?
WELL, illustrative, let’s take the case of a born and bred country fella (personally, find them refreshing, as opposed to the metrosexual type, but let’s not digress) to bring a basic example to the fore, one who spent the first 40 years of his life on a farm. Yet, later on in life, he lands in a cosmopolitan city, only to change his entire outward appearance to throw off his country boy background. Alas, would said makeover fool those closest to him? Of course not. Extrapolating further, steroid-like, Merkel (until her mid-years in the early 1990’s, she is currently 61 years old) was (likely, still is) a well-connected part of the communist apparatus. This is a historical fact. How many are aware of her actual background, both familial and personal? Didn’t think so.
Excerpts from the book, “The First Life of Angela M.,” were published in the news magazine Focus on Monday. The mass-circulation Bild newspaper has also given the book prominent coverage in recent days.
The book explores Merkel’s life growing up in German Democratic Republic (GDR), where her father Horst Kasner was a Protestant pastor and a committed socialist. He moved to East Germany from West Germany in 1954.
Merkel has said in the past that her FDJ role at the academy was more that of a cultural secretary and that her duties included buying theater tickets and organizing book readings.
‘Closeness to the System’
But former German Transport Minister Günther Krause — an eastern German politician who worked with her in the final months of the GDR and as a fellow minister in the government ex-chancellor Helmut Kohl in the early 1990s — contradicts her in the book and says she propagated Marxism-Leninism.
“With Agitation and Propaganda you’re responsible for brainwashing in the sense of Marxism,” he said. “That was her task and that wasn’t cultural work. Agitation and Propaganda, that was the group that was meant to fill people’s brains with everything you were supposed to believe in the GDR, with all the ideological tricks. And what annoys me about this woman is simply the fact that she doesn’t admit to a closeness to the system in the GDR. From a scientific standpoint she wasn’t indispensable at the Academy of Sciences. But she was useful as a pastor’s daughter in terms of Marxism-Leninism. And she’s denying that. But it’s the truth.”
On Sunday evening, Merkel said she hadn’t covered up anything about her past. “I can only rely on my memory,” she said at a public screening of her favorite movie, a popular love film made in East Germany, on Sunday night. “If something turns out to be different, I can live with that.”
Her spokesman, Steffen Seibert, denied on Monday that the chancellor had ever covered up political aspects of her life in East Germany. “The chancellor has been making statements about her life in the GDR for years in books and interviews,” he said. “She always answered questions openly and based on her honest memories.”
The book adds that Merkel and her father refused all attempts by the Ministry for State Security or Stasi, the feared secret police, to recruit them as informants.
A Latecomer to the East German Reform Movement
Merkel, who speaks good Russian, was well informed about Perestroika and the distancing of the Soviet government from the East German regime, the book says. She read Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev’s speeches in the Communist Party newspaper Pravda, and made contacts with East German reform groups only a few months before the Berlin Wall fell in November 1989.
The book says she and her father and brother Marcus discussed political developments with other people on September 1989. For them, the biography says, German unification was still inconceivable at that point “not just because it wouldn’t have fitted into the bipolar world but because they strictly rejected the Western system of society.”
It quotes Merkel as having said at the time: “If we reform the GDR, it won’t be in terms of the Federal Republic.”
Merkel’s political ascent after that is well documented. She joined the opposition political movement Demokratischer Aufbruch (Democratic Awakening) in December 1989, became deputy spokeswoman of the democratically elected transitional East German government after the May 1990 election and joined the staunchly conservative Christian Democratic Union party in 1990s — a surprising move given her apparent previous political leanings.
‘Not Many Know What She’s Really Thinking’
The chancellor at the time, Helmut Kohl spotted her potential and made her family affairs minister in his cabinet after the November 1990 German election. The rest is history.
“Only Angela Merkel herself can answer how much of her old life is still in her,” Focus magazine wrote.
EVEN so, some may query, that was then and this is now, what diff does it make? A whole lot. Enter…her hot mic with Facebook’s Zuckerberg, yes, that Napoleon wannabe.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel was overheard confronting Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over incendiary posts on the social network, Bloomberg reported on Sunday, amid complaints from her government about anti-immigrant posts in the midst of Europe’s refugee crisis.
On the sidelines of a United Nations luncheon on Saturday, Merkel was caught on a hot mic pressing Zuckerberg about social media posts about the wave of Syrian refugees entering Germany, the publication reported.
The Facebook CEO was overheard responding that “we need to do some work” on curtailing anti-immigrant posts about the refugee crisis. “Are you working on this?” Merkel asked in English, to which Zuckerberg replied in the affirmative before the transmission was disrupted….continue reading….
HERE’S the crux: True to form, the leader of a so-called democratic Republic couldn’t help but revert to her ideological and inner base. In other words, digging back to her roots as East Germany’s secretary for “Propaganda and Agitation”, she is using every means at her disposal to squelch the truth about the Islamist “refugees.” In this regard, she stated to Facebook’s Zuckerberg (this is unlikely her first stop in Germany’s silencing campaign), effectively dictating: Only positive feedback/propaganda about the “refugees” should be allowed, and all negative content must be silenced. Yes, her communist ethos is coming full circle.
AS to Zuckerberg, although a die-hard capitalist when it comes to his own wealth and greed, ideologically, he is a leftist revolutionary akin to many of the hypocrites among the uber rich. Not only that, his “sympathies” lie deep within Islam’s camp, and that too has been revealed at these pages and elsewhere.
DEMONSTRABLY, in mid 2014, jihadists on Facebook made death threats against anti-jihadists at Islam Exposed, a well-trafficked website with an attendant FB group page. Moreover, a particular threat by a Iranian jihadi was aimed in this immediate direction, yet, stone cold silence on Zukie’s end, even though the threats emerged from various Facebook pages and the powers that be were duly aware of the situation.
AS such, in the same manner that one can’t place lipstick on a pig and expect it to become beautified, so too one should not be shocked – albeit, outraged to the max – that Germany’s leader is behaving true to form; akin to any dictator from a communist/Marxist/Leninist background who believes that freedom of speech is not a fundamental right.
INDEED, this is precisely where Zuckerberg fits in, in so far as it is now known that he has little issue with complying with said dictates, even though born and bred in the US. After all, he came of age at a time when the Democratic Party is ruled by far left socialists/communists/Marxists – pick your poison – and freedom of speech has been silenced in a myriad of ways, least of which can be dangerous to one’s health – literally. In fact, just check with Breitbart and Hastings…oops, they are six feet under. Incontrovertibly, HUSSEIN Obama’s hench people ensured their silence! Murderous thugs.
MONSTROUSLY, US media – be it social media, traditional print, or tv – has been bought off by domestic and foreign interests, and this is no longer in doubt.
FOLKS, in light of the aforementioned collusion between the most prominent leader of the European Union and the head of the largest social media platform, is it any wonder that this investigative journalist previously asserted: US media is waging a omerta, regarding the Islamic-Euro (Hijrah) invasion! In effect, at the same time that the leadership of the free world is tightening free speech, similarly, Merkel is doing the same.
MOST significantly, the inestimable Mark Steyn spoke at the Danish Free Speech Society, and he warned the public what is at stake. In tandem, one can catch a glimpse of the same horrific situation, and it was spelled out at the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Conference in Warsaw, Poland.
INHERENTLY, western leaders are working assiduously to squelch all those who refuse to toe the leftist and Islamist narrative. Time will tell if the public revolts or becomes quieted, the results of which couldn’t be any starker in contrast. Graver.
