Rep Brian Mast (R-FL) donned his old IDF uniform in response to the controversy surrounding Rep Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and her Palestinian flag that is perched outside of her official office in the US Capitol. Reporters attempting to get her to condemn the Hamas atrocities of the war in Israel have been met with either an outright refusal to answer or a mealy-mouthed mash of words about the “resistance.” Note: terrorism is not a “resistance” – it is a way of life, a life riddled with the desire for hatred and death.
I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day. I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity.
The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance.
The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer. No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence. We cannot ignore the humanity in each other. Rashida Tlaib
For her information, Israel has treated Arabs extremely well. It is not an apartheid government. But terrorist propaganda has ruled over people like Rashida Tlaib.
Rep Mast served in Afghanistan as a US Army Bomb Technician when an IED exploded. The blast took his legs. Later, he worked with the IDF as a civilian for two weeks. He said he will always stand with Israel.
Anyone advocating for Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror groups is either as dumb as a post or totally ignorant of history in the Middle East. So let’s have a little trek through that history and see why they are evil. When they do get funds, they use them for evil purposes rather than help their own people. They absolutely do not care about Palestinians or Arabs. In fact, an American couple who staunchly advocated for Palestinians lived at the Kfar Aza Kibbutz where they were murdered right along with others.
History Lesson for Rashida Tlaib and her buddies
In the great propaganda war that rages right along with the real war, there are those like Rashida Tlaib who buy into the lies. The Socialists, the leftists, those who have no clue what they are talking about are the ones who protest against Israel. It’s because they drank the Kool-Aid. Tlaib is from a Palestinian family, and therefore she sees what she wants to see, and lives in her tiny room of hate for Israel. She and her Squad friends sincerely need to resign or wake-up.
